I called to ask about their European facial. The lady who answered said if you are calling about a groupon deal, then the facial will not be as quality as full price. I would like to inform this business that if you work for your money and save EVERY DOLLAR, then it should be respected by the business you choose to spend at. The owner or manager rarely picks up phone calls, and both my first phone call I had with her, she was extremely rude without any reason. She did the same independently when my ex girlfriend called her. I had to drive out an hour just to schedule an appointment after she went days without answering or responding to voice mails. She was very insensitive when I expressed my frustration too. I ended up canceling the appointment and left a voicemail and she texted me days later that I should respect peoples time. Felisha was nice, and the eyelashes were done nicely. However the nails were horrible, and the owner wanted to know how much I paid for the Groupon voucher before doing my nail. The nails could have been done better. I WOULD do it better. Also the place is very tiny and I feel all the product they used for nail were so old and gross. They won’t see my back, definitely not.

I found this salon via Groupon and drove from Gurnee to try out their lash extension service. I made my appointment and then unfortunately had to cancel. They were gracious and understanding. When I called back, 2 weeks later, to reschedule the owner recognized my voice! That instantly made me feel valued. I had my lashes done today and not only was the technician, Felisha, quick and precise, she also helped me choose the correct fullness, length and curl to get the look I was going for. AND she was fun! It was incredibly relaxing and she would have let me sleep through the service, but followed my lead and chatted with me throughout. I also had to leave my phone on due to a family situation and every time it rang she was sweet enough to check it for me (since I had to keep my eyes closed) in the event it was a call I had to take. Above and beyond. I left thrilled with my results AND feeling like Id made a new friend! Even though the salon is an hour drive from me, Im going back. I made sure to schedule my next appointment before I left. Im one of those people who speaks up when service is lacking AND when service is exceptional, and this exceptional service deserved a review. I told the owner twice that I had a Groupon for lash extensions. She said that she would honor the Groupon both times. AFTER my lash extensions she told me that she does not accept groupons for lash extensions and made me pay FULL PRICE $150!!!! She not only made me pay full price, but also redeemed my Groupon. The owner patronized me from the start because I had a Groupon. Please DO NOT GET SCAMMED LIKE ME. This place is a hole in a wall, tiny, dirty, and has no customer service skills!! Not to mention about half of my lash extensions fell off after two days.

My mom bought a groupon for their services, and considering the reviews, she was very excited to try out a new salon with me. however, due to availability, she scheduled an appointment for her and i on separate days. her appointment was a few days before mine, and we called a 2 days prior to confirm both of our appointments. whoever answered the phone told us my appointment was a different day, which confused my mom and i. after a few moments of disagreements, the employee admitted that the appointment was for a different “natasha,” and confirmed our appointment. she asked for my number to prevent further confusion for the other customer, which we complied to, but were still caught off guard for how she handled the miscommunication. unfortunately, when my mom showed up to her appointment, the front desk worker rudely told her that her appointment had been cancelled because i was a “no show” for my appointment. my mom had argued that my appointment was not for another few days and mentioned we called to confirm our appointments. the front lady argued back that i didn’t show up, so my mom had to reschedule hers. after arguing for 5 minutes, my mom just complied to reschedule, but when my mom looked at their booking schedule, she noticed that the “natasha” that didn’t show up was not for me. my mom clarified that the “natasha” was not her daughter, and even pointed to my true appointment on the schedule. the receptionist had the audacity to claim that I was NOT my mother’s daughter! and my mom argued back that the later appointment was in fact mine. then the lady only said “oh.” no apology for miscommunication and for arguing with my mom about cancelling her appointment. my mom ended up rescheduling anyway, but because of the terrible customer service the receptionist provided, we decided to not waste our time there. we’ll never return to a place that will argue with their customers without apologizing for miscommunication and rude service. no wonder they need groupon to promote their service.

Full service salon that will not disappoint! Red Like Polish is Schaumburgs best salon and Mickey the owner treats all clients like royalty. Very knowledgeable staff, they use high quality products and offer top notch services. Loved my new hair color and cut! Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!

Avoid this place at all cost. Owner is so rude and very unprofessional. I was gonna be late for my appointment, I texted her hour before my appointment that I will be late, she said its fine. She was really mad When I got to salon, she didnt open the door. I was about to walk away and she open the door. That whole hour of getting nails done was nightmare, she hurt me so much while filing nails, she kept saying sorry and kept hurting me. I got my nails done before somewhere so I know it doesnt hurt that much. She didnt clean cuticles, she did really terrible job. My nails didnt last a week. I would have walked out of there if I didnt have to go on a trip next day. I still gave her 9 dollars tip because I was feeling guilty for being late. She gave me 5 dollars back and asked me write good review, so I dont know how many good reviews are actually good review. Jus avoid going to this place.

The owner is super cute and just let me say, if you have concerns about Covid this salon is taking every precaution and doing everything necessary to keep themselves and their clients safe. He was upset I bought a groupon and for eyelash lift and tint stated nothing less than 44 would be accepted. If you are so unhappy with groupon how about remove your business from the website. Extremely unprofessional, get some people skills .Man told me he could give services away all day I just wanted to give your salon a try but useless aggresive tone really threw me off. Ive been going to this salon the past few years. I actually drive 30 minutes each way because this salon is sooo worth it. I see Anna for facials and the owner for my manicure and pedicures. I am wowed each time Im there. Anna makes my skin look years younger and my pores looking tiny! The owner is sooo sweet and does perfect nails. The polish actually lasts, which for me says a lot because Im always bumping them. They last way longer than they do when I used to go to other places

A hidden jem in the heart of Schaumburg!! I bought groupons for massages and a lash lift here. After using the Groupons, I am hooked! The massage with Jana was the PERFECT blend of relaxing and deep tissue. After the two groupon massages were used, I bought a package of massages here for an extremely reasonable price! The lash lift also turned out great and was a good first experience. The owner and everyone working here is very nice and very personable. First off, she takes your temp and makes you sanitize your hands upon arrival and she records everyones temp who comes into the establishment! Loved that. Mickey made sure I was comfortable and asked if i needed any water coffee ect. She was so courteous and made sure I was happy with the temp of the water, shape of my nails, the color, literally everything! She didnt treat me differently because I had a coupon. I never felt so pampered with getting these services. Mickey did an incredible job on my hands and feet, she was so careful and made sure I was fully satisfied. Never rushed me, Mickey treated me like she has known me for years and it was such a refreshing change of pace from the typical nail salon that treats you like every customer. Found this place on Groupon. Bought a eyebrow threading package.This place is very hard to find! It’s literally a tiny house behind Lou Malnattis. You will get lost! It took me awhile to figure out exactly where it was. Once inside I felt cramped! Everything is so tiny. They barely have an entrance. There’s stuff everywhere. Upstairs is where I got my eyebrows done by Felisha. It was such a tiny attic like room. I felt extremely uncomfortable! She seemed somewhat nice. The Owner was very personable and sweet. My eyebrows are alright, nothing special. She could have done better. I’ll go back until the Groupon is used.

Its a small place where you can get your lashes done so perfectly that you wont go anywhere else afterwards. The owner is always nice and tries to accommodate my schedule and Felicia is very detailed oriented so your lashes will always look great yet not fake.

What a great salon. I went in for a no-chip manicure and after seeing the eyelash extension clients, I booked a session for myself. I dont typically wear much make-up but when I do, I cannot get my eyelashes to curl or make my eyelashes pop. I was worried extensions would look too fake on me but they are AMAZING.

Unfortunately I am writing this review with a heavy heart however I want women to be aware that the eyelash extensions here are not good quality. I’ve gobectwice so far both times with in a week they have fallen out completely. I’ve had my eyelashes done for some time and know the care involved. The quality is not good and all though the technician is sweet she does not use enough glue.The first time I went for a fill I was told 68 and was charged for a full set my owner.The second time I was charged 78 for a fill when time prior I was told 68. The prices vary each visit.I love local businesses and the owner seems kind enough but the eyelash extensions here are not good.

While here from Ohio visiting family, I decided to call last minute to get in for a pedicure for myself and my daughter(shes 8), and although they were completely booked except for one opening, the woman I spoke with to make the appointment (the owner maybe) was incredibly accommodateing and offered to do a polish change and a little “fun” pedi for my daughter while I was getting my pedicure done! The owner, Mickey, met me at the door and despite the fact they prefer appointments, she pulled me into the charming and historic little building next to Lou Malnatis on Schaumburg Rd. She made me feel like I was her most important customer of the day. I learned of all the other services that are offered here and met Georgia, who does hair services, as well. What an amazing morning I had. I will build time into my next several trips to Schaumburg to make an appointment for my nails as well as to take advantage of some of their extensive list of services. I highly recommend that you consider this salon before you go to one of the standard storefront, hard to understand them, find in every corner, run of the mill nail salons. Very fun and personal, professional, safety/health conscious. I will be back!!!
