This location directly rejects me to switch a car that has a flatten tire! The staff told me to call the roadside assistance to switch the spare tire!I called the enterprise, and they said that is not the rule! any enterprise branch should be able to switch another care because the original one has tire issue.By the way, the reason that flatten tire is because the tire is too old that after a 5 hour drive, it reaches to the maximum life! How the enterprise rent this kind of tire car to their customer! No matter how, last time of enterprise!
These guys are rude and overcharged my card 2 times and charged me for 3 extra days don’t rent from. The car I got also was not clean and sanitized properly I witnessed another customer drop off a car and give it to the next customer without ever wiping it down. So much for extra sanitation to help prevent COVID 19. If you are desperate and rent from this unsanitary crooked establishment make sure you bring your own cleaning supplies and wipe down your rental so you don’t catch COVID-19.
My insurance company set up a reservation on Monday at this Enterprise location, and I also had an associate pick me up from my home who was very nice. At arrival I was checked in and Oscar led me to a Ford Edge at first glace I could see the vehicle hadn’t been cleaned on the outside and we did a walk around the vehicle before I signed off on it where I pointed out various marks which turned out to be just dirt smudged. Im not a difficult person and it was super busy being that it was a Monday; but after getting the keys I got inside and realized the vehicle had never been cleaned since the last occupant (the ac was on & dust hair and dirt was flying everywhere). Although I was pressed on time;I immediately walked back inside and informed them the vehicle hadn’t been clean. The associates assured me it will be cleaned in the back and ready to go shortly, as I sat and watched others pick up rental vehicles I couldn’t help but notice I was the only one whose vehicle hadn’t been ran through a wash before getting the keys. The Ford Edge was pulled back around, and I was assured it had been cleaned. I was hopeful being that there are still cases of Covid-19 being reported.I was a bit frazzled because of the circumstances leading me to needing a rental and also my time constraints so I took their word and left. Shortly after I noticed the vehicles back windows were dirty and back seat was still icky it seemed as if the occupant before me had small children and may have used a crayon on the window. This afternoon when I was able to return I informed Matt that it wasn’t throughly cleaned. I was extremely patient because I do understand people have different expectations on cleanliness. The vehicle was taken to be cleaned a SECOND time and when it was ready myself and Matt went out to look. I showed him the back seats where still a bit grimy and he informed me it could just be the appearance because it had just been cleaned by him personally. I am not a confrontational person and I also understand cleanliness is relative, so although i was displeased I just thanked him and left. The photos below are time stamped so it can be seen I took these photos just minutes after pulling away from the enterprise location. It was hard to get the windows on camera but you can still see a visible line where I believe it could’ve been crayon also several marks on the back seat including small foot prints. Door shams still dirty.I gave three stars to be fair because the associates were very pleasant; but Im guessing I’ll just have to do my own due diligence to confidently drive the vehicle, until the vehicle I own is repaired.
Pros: Competitive rate and much less crowded compared to the airport, well worth the Uber ride. Agents were prepared and professional.Cons: Vehicle was not ready. Nickel-and-dime charges like daily toll surcharge to avoid costly late fees. If that bothers you do some research, there are ways to pay online without having the electronic pass. Certainly the agent knows that and doesnt care (or isnt allowed) to pass along that information.
Not a great customer service. The supervisor (her) was somewhat rude. We had come in from NJ and was looking to rent an SUV. On Aug 27, return on Aug 29th. Since I had a NJ state license, I was asked to produce utility bills, or paystub as a proof of residence. What kind of dumb ask is that, when Im traveling?? . Luckily I had access online and was able to provide access. Next I had a bank card, that can be used as a credit card or debit card, and I was denied. No reasons given as to why they cant accept a bank card. To me, thats even more secured and instant money I have always booked using tha same card several times. This was a very unpleasant exp. That too, after booking online, and not just walking in.To the Enterprise management... this was a very non favorable exp.Krishna
Enterprise is a great company but you need to check your rates.I know, the demend is there but you guys are too high.I have been a long time customer but now I need to switch to Heartz.Their rates are much, much better.
Horrible..horrible. No integrity. The car you reserve is not there. If they can get more bucks from someone else, you are out of luck. Point of reservation? Stick with budget and avoid the headaches.
Extremely frustrating experience.I will change my review once this issue is resolved.We purchased a car at the Ziegler dealership. As a part of our experience at the dealership we wanted some upgrades, which would require us to have a rental.They presumed very transparent and honest.the dealer and multiple staff at Ziegler said they would pay the rental through Enterprise. They shared all we had to do was drop the car off/keys and we would have our rental car ready to go.We were assured all we had to do was give our license, insurance and a card in case we go through iPass.This is NOT what happened. Enterprise did not have the car ready. Instead, they shuttled me (3rd trimester pregnant with twins) to enterprise.They did not have our reservation on file.The staff passed me and other clients around to different staff like the game hot potato. Extremely unprofessional.I waited for almost 2 hours.When the rental was ready, the staff member pressured me into the coverage. Even though I had insurance and I shared Ziegler was paying for this.Then he proceeded to say it was a $300 deposit. I needed to remind this staff member multiple times we were told Ziegler was paying for this rental. Then he walked to another staff member and walked back and changed it to $50. He then reassured me it’s a deposit and I would get the money back when the car was returned. I verbally repeated his statement and received a confirmation. I gave my card and was charged the coverage (I was pressured into & the deposit).Fast forward, our car was not ready. Ziegler reassured us we would not be charged. My husband did not like how I was treated so he returned the car when ours was ready. He was also tossed around staff member to staff member like the game hot potato and in the end charged an additional $50 with no explanation. We did not get reimbursed as promised by the Enterprise staff.I then reached out online to enterprise customer service and explained this situation in writing. It has been over 72 hours and I have YET to receive a phone call or email to resolve this situation. The lack of transparency, communication, and professionalism is extremely frustrating.
Absolutely horrible service! I got a car with crumbs all over the floor and the wheeling being all stickie. On top of that I got a bill for not paying a toll after I was given an ipass! I even asked to have someone contact me about how disappointed I was, but no one has replied to me.
My experience with Enterprise was wonderful. Everyone was professional and courteous. The vehicle that I was given was new and clean. I would not hesitate to use Enterprise again.
They were my rental car while was vehicle was being fixed. As I was alread in their system the process was totally seemless.. Yes you still have to signed 10 times before you get your car but it was painless (and they bill the insurance company)
Car was ready, customer service was very good.
The service was fine but the car was so-so in that it was due for maintenance, was out of alignment and the doors did not close crisply (like it had been in an accident).

SUV broke down and we had to rent a Cargo Van to move my daughter to her College apartment. Busy weekend for car/truck rentals but we had amazing service! Yaju was so helpful and did an amazing job explaining things for us. Exactly what we expected, no hassle. Pickup and drop off were so easy and free of stress. Thank you. The customer service at this location was horrible. Told there would be a $50 hold on my card in addition to a $250 rental. First the person ran my card for $440. Then came back and said it will be $300 in addition to the $250. Why would the deposit be more than the rental? After literally going to do a walk around of the car, we were told this. Did I mention we waited 20.mins to clean the car but they never actually did the financial stuff?? The 440 posted to my account and had to be voided but I then couldnt rent the car because I needed 1000 available to cover the mistake and the deposit and the rental. I literally walked out without renting a car after being on site for 45+ mins. I will never go to this location again. Did I mention we have a corporate partnership? Ridiculous.
Nice people big parking lot. I would have given 5 if agent would have knowledge of the car, I asked if it has android auto and answer was yes :). Took car and wasted so much time at home figuring that out and later found that this car dont support android auto. Else everything was good and smooth.

I rented a vehicle from this location for a long time from this location, on behalf of my company. I always had toll pass waiver included in my contract, last time when I extended my rental I told the agent at location that I need toll pass waiver, for some reason he forgot to add it in to the contract and they charged me $35 dollar for tolls after 2 weeks of my rental return, when called their customer service there answer was mistake happens and we can not refund so just move on !! This is the most stupid and arrogant response I ever heard, for some one else mistake, they want me to pay and move on lol !

Car in shop with electrical problem, called, picked up, paperwork, drove off. EXtended car 4-5 times; helpful, understanding. car ready after 17 days (found problem, Not fixed), dropped car, ride to dealership. No additional stress or strain.
The car we rented was great! It got good mileage. Customer service could be better. That is the reason for only three stars. I made this reservation through Costco travel. The car was to be picked up at a local location. When I got there, It was closed! There was a note on the window that the car I rented should be available at another location. I called the national number, and was told to go to a completely different location than the one listed on the window of the closed enterprise rental car Office. Then they had the audacity to try to charge me more, as the taxes were higher in the new location than where I had rented. I showed them my email. When I picked up the car. When I drop the car off. In the end, they finally decided to charge me what I was originally quoted. A phone call, email, or a text prior to the day I was supposed to pick up the car telling me I needed to go to a different location would have been much appreciated! But I got nothing. I listened to the phone ring at the national number quite a while, and then I was on hold for probably another 40 minutes. This was very inconvenient. You would think they would go out of their way to treat customers better at this time.

Great experience, they worked with me to ensure the vehicle I had was comfortable to drive long distances. Only detraction was both vehicles had faint smoke smell, only really noticable when opening car after sitting in the hot sun.

The place was nice and neat but the car I got was smelling awfully smoky. I was told that the other car that i wanted to pick up but smoked-in so I was told to take the car that was not smoked-in but that was equally bad.

Picking up a rental car from 534 Mall Drive, Schaumburg IL is the worse decision ever!! The guy at the desk lacks proper communication skills and customer service is zero which I know is contrary to Enterprise policy. Tried to check his name but doesnt have his badge on. I heard someone referred to him as Baukari.
Ive used the Golf Road in Schaumburg location a few times for work related rentals. The employees have always been great to work with and the cars are always clean and ready to go when I arrive. I will definitely use them in the future.

Enterprise did not honor accumulated points. I reserved on 12/22/2017. I was told my points expired on 12/19/2017 and that I would not be able to use them.Also, I reserved an intermediate car and the car I got looked more like a compact.

I would actually give zero stars if it was possible. I have personally rented cars from this facility for over 5 years now. The quality of service from the staff, and the cleanliness of the cars have hit an absolute low. Since April, I have rented 6 cars. All were not cleaned on the inside, with the interior of the windows were so dirty you could write your name on them. As for the staff, they quoted a rate, and then changed the rate for the same size car each and every time I came back(higher and higher and higher!). Complaints were made to the Store Manager, and the District Manager, but nothing has been done. Credits for the car rentals never issued, and now I want to warn people NEVER to go to any Enterprise store in this region since they simply are not honest, and dont keep their promises.

I have rented several vehicles from Enterprise over the years. This time was just not a good experience. The car(2018 Malibu) rattled like a tin can over 55 mph due to unbalanced wheels. To top that, my 8 year old daughter found a hotel key card slip and 2 condoms in the back seat!! Disgusting.. Highly disappointed with this. And the half assed refund I got was bs..
I have been renting cars from Enterprise for the last 5 years, we have an account with Enterprise and never had an issue before, but my company moved to Schaumburg area and this location is very close to me, employees are very nice most of the time when renting, just last week I rented 2 cars and I couldnt really believe. 1st car was in a bad condition, steering wheel shakes like crazy, tires kept loosing air so I have to stop and adjust it, although I have told them I am going to be driving a lot, when I dropped the car I told the guy and he said OK. 2nd car I rented they upgrade me because they didnt have cars, I dropped the car off 30min after they close, which Ive done that so many time at other locations and they did not charge me an extra day, I have been charged $10 before which was fine. I called them and the guy was talking like a robot, I hate to close the company account and go with other rental companies, but it feels like Enterprise customer service is going lower and lower every time we rent from them.
Everything was fine, except for the tally.I totalled my car 9/23, rented a car 9/25.After I shopped for a week, I bought a car Saturday am.I had the dealer drive me to Enterprise around 1pm, to drop the keys.Because you have the worst hours in the business, I get charged an extra 2 days.Ive rented with you several times in the last few years, this is the second time Ive been disappointed.
Where there is good, commendation should be given.My car was down for electrical reasons and I was shuttled by CarMax (another excellent company) went to Enterprise to get a rental. They were busy due to the bad weather and others like me that were receiving service to our cars. While there I observed several intolerable customers. It is understandable that everyone has their own reason for needing a rental vehicle however these customers brought down their issues in a less that kind manner.One particular customer had a son that needed to drive somewhere at 6 AM. This Enterprise location does not open that early. The customer did not bring his son but brought a digital picture of his sons drivers licence. He wanted the son added on to the vehicle. Diana went over the legal reasons why a physical drivers licence must be given to them opposed to a digital copy. The customer told her that she should be able to run the number and should not need the actual licence. She repeated the legal reasons and calmly talked with the customer before moving on to other options and further finishing the paperwork. The entire time, the customer made snide comments and aimed his bad attitude toward her. She handle the customer with excellent customer service despite his personal dilemmas and legality prohibiting her from satisfying the customer completely. She did her job ethically, confidently, and with kindness. She had a couple more customers like this.Matt also had a customer that was flustered rather than angry. His customer had played telephone with her own company. The company she worked with received notice that the vehicle had been out for thirty days and that she had to bring it back or sign for another extended amount of time as she only legally had it for thirty days. Her company through a chain of people ended up telling her that Enterprise would assume the car stolen if she did not come in immediately. I was not there for all other the conversation between Enterprise and her company but from the point when this customer came into the building Matt helped her understand the process, what was actually meant, and explained her contract to her. He let helped her make changes and keep the car for another thirty days. He listened to her, responded to her concerns, and helped her through the anxiety. His customer service was excellent.I was greeted by many employees both at the front desk and that had other jobs within the company. I also was pleased to be helped by Damil. He greeted me with a kind expression, helped me through the process of filling out paperwork and also helped other teammates that were in need. He helped his previous customer get the car they needed in a timely manner. When we went out to the vehicle he explained the paperwork I was signing, and answered all of my questions with clarity.The whole team at this location was friendly, helpful, listened, and did their best to help with what they could. They did well under the pressure of helping several customers that were impatient and in negative moods and they did it with poise. They were excellent as a team and a delightful bunch that exuded fantastic customer service.I am thankful for their service to me and to those that not deserve their kindness.Thank you employees of Enterprise Rent-A-Car of 1035 E Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173 for your excellent customer service.
Enterprise has one of those weird, corporate phone systems. I called, listened to their stupid message, and clicked the option most applicable to me. That directed me to a call center, where they told me to redial the number I had just called, and hit 4 to be directed to my local guy. The whole time I thought I was calling the local guy, because I (like the rest of the human race) want nothing to do with call centers.So, for cheating me out of 5 minutes of my life, Enterprise wins a lousy review. The car is fine, if a bit DMV like experience to receive it.
Their weekend promotion is awesome. $9.99 per day. Friendly staff. I have been a regular visitor here.

Just watch out when you rent from them you will get extra charges on your card they cant hold a manager either to take care of the store. Also on another time they tried to tell my family that the car was damaged and she owed over $3000 in damages until she went in with the pitures thst she took of the car when she dropped them off Beware of this one

Make sure when your renting a car from them to pay ipas; in agreement that you signed says that its your responsibility to pay all talls; I was charged 50% for unpaid talls to my credit card and received invoices only one month lat.. and I have my personal Ipass device .. however, no one reminded to transfer it ...
