They called at 4:25 on a Friday afternoon to tell me that my car was ready to be picked up, but it had to be picked up before 5:00 p.m. Their shop is over 30 miles away from me, so there was no way that was going to happen. Heres the interesting part:When I went back 4 days later, AFTER having dropped off my rental, they told me my car wasnt ready. So I had to get another rental.When I finally picked my car up, everything from the inside of the car had been tossed in the back, so it was all rolling around as I drove away.While driving home, I noticed the front passenger floor mat was missing. I contacted the manager of the shop (Matt), and he said hed get back to me in a day or two. I never heard from him.

10/10 - Highly recommended, no pun needed.The team that did the repairs and painting surprised me. Was worried about the paint blend but they did a fantastic job. Worked with the person that hit my car to pay out of pocket and Miguel did a great job to meet my needs in an affordable manner. Jasmine provided premier customer service, couldnt ask for a better experience. They fixed my baby!Replaced bumper and bumper cover, driver side quarter panel and liner (among a few internal parts). Great body work and great paint blend.

I’ve been to other Gerber locations in the past and had a great experience, this didn’t hold true at the Schamburg location. Upon picking up my vehicle I noticed that I was missing something from my car, when I asked Miguel about it he let me know he would check with management and get back to me. I followed up twice over the phone and they never got back to me and then they stopped answering my phone calls. I dropped by in person and spoke to management who seemed annoyed and was very unprofessional in handling the situation. Shame on me for not taking everything out of car before dropping it off but shame on them for thinking this is something that can be done to a customer. If you do plan to bring your car here, proceed with caution.

They very experienced team, they will always keep you posted with any updates throughout the time your care is in the shop and they are a very respectful and friendly team.

Gerbers service person showed up early and that was great. He worked on our van, answered questions we had, and was very professional. We appreciate this service and will definately use the company again.

I had a great experience with the team. Darryl, Sandra and Matt are very professional and their communication and updates on the repair of my car were on point. My car looks brand new, not only did they repair the damage but took care, did a touch up and buffed the minor scratches on the right door per request at no cost. I got into a car accident on February 15, same day when my sister picked up her vehicle from Gerber in Estes. As soon as she got home, she recommended to have my car fixed in this location, as the team made an excellent job in fixing her car. So I requested from my insurance to have my vehicle fixed specifically in this location.Dropped my car on 03/12/18 and picked it on 03/15/18. When I saw my car, I was astounded by how the damaged part was gone and fixed (of course you would expect this part to be done hehe) and tidy the car looked.However, when my family and I double checked the car again, we found out that there was a crack on my car’s left tail light. We notified the store right away. Without hesitations, the store manager, Matt ordered the damaged piece and asked us to come back once they receive the part.Came back today, 03/21/18, and they fixed my car again in less than 10 minutes.I unquestionably recommend this place to everyone! Great service overall! SPLENDID results! I am a one happy, and satisfied client.

I have been here twice, in 2 different years...First of all, it was my first time to repair my car at a body shop. My car was badly damage and I thought it will never drive the same again. But, I gave it a chance. I have never knew them before. They took my car, informed the insurance company although they are not directly affiliated with them. They were so friendly and professional all the time. My car returned better and cleaner than when I bought it, NO JOKE!!They worked with the insurance and I paid ZERO dollars.These guys are the best, trust me, I am telling the truth as I am so excited that I repaired my car here. Best people, best service and amazing work.I went to another Gerber location they were so hard to deal with, than i called this location Matt the store manager answered my call asked to come the same day to look at the van, he ordered everything and gave me a drop off day, Sandra was following up with the updates and she get me a rental vehicle to there location witch was great .they kept me posted about everything even the pick up day.since its a work van i was worrying about the time that the repairs will be but this people they made it 6 days before the what they told me .even they took the van to the shop to do the vinyl so basically i didnt have to do anything other than dropping the van by their location.Darrell contacted me yesterday to let me know that the van is ready,the repairs were perfectly done, cant be more happy than thisthank you so much.

Is shop could not install the glass on my 88 truck because they could no longer source anything from their suppliers after calling all over town and not having any luck I purchased a piece of glass from the junkyard and installed it myself. The shop would not even install the glass if I brought it to them from the junkyard.

I dropped off my car on 02/13/18, and I picked it up today 02/15/18. Excellent paint job! My car looks brand new! Sandra and Darryl are very hospitable, and helpful! Excellent work and great customer service!

These people are the best...They will take care of you every step of the way...I have been here twice in 2 different accidents, and every time...they prove to be up to the job...for them, I am not a customer, I am a family member...That’s why, I know them by name...Now to the repair part; they take pretty good care of the car, they are professional, and even the best eye would never guess that this car was in an accident or that the paint doesn’t match...even a little...It has been 2 years since they’ve first repaired my car, and there are no complaints...None.Addendum, they even fixed my lighter power socket (charger), even it wasn’t their job and it wasn’t due to the accident, it was my fault!!!! I just requested it, and they did it FREE of charge!!! Kid you not!!Thanks Gerber! Just Thank you!

I recently went there and requested a quote, but over a month has gone by and no one has reached out to me.Weird because normally they provide good service.

Suggested repair shop from the insurance company of the person who rear ended me, they went above and beyond with the repairs. Friendly staff, nearly effortless on my end, beautiful paint work, and thoroughly cleaned the interior, which I was not expecting at all.

Impressed with their customer service. They repaired the car before the scheduled time. Car is in perfect shape too.

The damage was pretty extensive to the rear and front. I thought they might total the SUV. It wasn’t something that I was comfortable with in that VW only sold 5,000 Touaregs in the US for my model year. I thought there would be long delays for parts, and what could they know about an over engineered complex machine. Yes it might be the cheapest of any SUV coming out of Germany but I loved it. I wanted to take it to a Certified VW Body Shop but my insurance company said I would have to work through the other person’s insurance company for that to happen. Something I didn’t want to get involved with. I thought to myself these people don’t know what they are getting into. As it turns out they are a great shop. They answered my very long list of concerns. They updated me on their progress frequently and they worked with my insurance company and I did not have to get involved at all. I have had the vehicle back a week now, and I couldn’t be happier. Everything works, no flaws that I could find, and I would highly recommend them for any body work that you need done. It is as if the accident never happened.Update-8 months after I got the vehicle back. So far everything flawless, with no problems, rattles whatsoever. Just recommended a friend who needed body work done.
