Thought it would be a good idea to just leave the trash on the street. Then I saw them drive back around to exit the neighborhood. I stopped them and pointed to the mess, and they just drove off. Called the company, and she asked if it fell out of the can or out of the truck. Does it matter? Is it okay to leave trash in the street? Throw it back in their trash can if you have to, but to just leave it after you clearly saw it? Savannah has a terrible littering problem already without you contributing to it.

I work for a general contractor [Alair Homes Savannah]. and we have recently converted most of our dumpster services to ABC. It has been an amazing experience in terms of service. They have been quick to get our dumpsters swapped out and were very accommodating to our needs and requests. We even recently saw our driver, Charles, get out of the truck to pick up additional trash that had fallen out or not quite made it to the dumpster. Wonderful example of going the extra mile. We look forward to a long and fun relationship with ABC.

Truck #27 driver didnt cover the load and blew trash all over 516 and Derenne. Its extremely unlikely that anyone will be held responsible.

They were rude and a guy guy named Charles was obnoxious

We do a lot of larger projects in the Savannah area, and ABC Waste is always our go to company for dumpster service. We currently have a project going on that has anywhere from 3-5 dumpsters on site, and ABC is doing service on anywhere from 3 to all 5 of them daily!Everyone at ABC is a pleasure to deal with...no matter if your working with drivers for dumpster placement, dispatch for swaps/deliveries/removals, or billing to get them paid, they take their customer service serious, and truly strive to be the best hauler in Savannah!Their pricing is also amazing too!ABC Waste will always be my go-to dumpster company in Savannah!

The next day service for roll off is unbeatable. Anc waste is also the oldest company in the waste industry in savannah and still privately owned.

My company has been using ABC for many years. Never had a problem. Very dependable. Very professional. Highly recommend them!

This is probably one of top 3 worst companies I’ve ever had the “pleasure” of doing business with. I would HIGHLY advise NOT doing business with them, either as a vendor, or for their services. Not only are they VERY unprofessional, but they NEVER pay their bills on time. God forbid you ever attempt hold them accountable for their actions, then you can be prepared for Carolyn to flame your social media with lies to make you look bad. I’m always in favor of supporting local businesses, but this is one you should stay as far away from as possible.

It was like pulling teeth to get them to start picking up our trash when we first moved here. Then again the last 3 weeks weve experienced problems. They completely neglected to pick up my recycling two weeks ago, it took a week of me contacting them to get it picked up. They took $3 off my bill for inconvenience and then charged me a $15 late fee. I have never been late with payment.Then this week they blew right by my cans again. Tried to tell me my cans werent out and argue with me about it. My cans are out the night prior EVERY time. I shouldnt have to fight for service Im paying for. I feel like I should be on the payroll for the amount of work Im doing to get my cans picked up on time. Do not recommend. Canceling today.

If I can give zero stars I would. We have never been late on payments and this is the 2nd week in a row that our trash was ignored. It has been there since last night in preparation for Friday pickup, there was no car blocking the trash in the curb and there is no construction debris in it whatsoever. And NO ONE ever picks up their phone in this company. If I had another company that I can hire, I would transfer in a heartbeat.Update 06/17/2019 - They called me back first thing Monday. They are not sure why my trash keeps getting ignored but they picked up my trash not long after. My guess is that the replacement can they gave me didnt have their company logo. They need to be more mindful of that though. Increased from 1 star to 3 just because their Customer Service handled my call well.. but I shouldnt have to do this every week...

Great company. They go the extra mile to make their customers happy and satisfied. I recommend them to any one who needs trash pick up for his house or businees and also their prices are great.

Great job, great pricing. They always picked up my garbage, no problem, always on the day they were scheduled. Occasionally they would miss my recycling because it was a different day and I was the only one on our side street that subscribed to recycling (a separate/extra charge to get it 2x a month) so that was my only frustration. When I did happen to meet the collectors at the same time they came by, they were courteous and professional. Id recommend ABC Waste if you are in Georgetown where we were.

I called customer service to inquire why my trash was not picked up as scheduled, well the lady on the phone whom called herself the manager of residential services was very unprofessional.She did not try to accommodate me at all.She could care less if my trash was picked up.I am definitely going to cancel my services with them. I would not recommend this company at all.

Worst trash service pick up company in Savannah rude employees unreliable pickup and an unreasonable late fee. Theyll skip a week of pick up here and there but there sure are quick to charge of the extra $15 for the late fee if I were you I wouldnt call this company

Good weekly service. Has only missed a pick-up once in four years, but their customer service is horrible. The ladies that work the phones are beyond rude and have zero etiquette skills.

Wow - They just cant get it together. Came to pick up my recycling the first time. Then they never came again. The driver said we didnt leave it out on the curb - but we had left it out the night before. They didnt come to pick up recycling a second time. I called and they said they were going to change the route and it would be picked up - its been over a month. I called to cancel all together for the following week. I called the day I had scheduled to cancel and they had no record of me cancelling service. Then they said they cant give me a refund for what I have paid for because they dont do that. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

They never pick up the phone...Ive tried two separate days this week, and both times on hold for 30+ minutes...left two voicemails and no call back. This is after theyve texted me saying I have an overdue balance on my rental property...an account thats in my tenants name..not mine. I give them two stars only because when I DID have an account at that property, the trash was always picked up on schedule.

Says you can pay the bill online... ha ha big joke where is the submit button!! fill out the website with your information and try to submit... nothing happens. you have failed again

I write to disagree with the negative reviewers. My cans are clean and performance has been fine. It was a spotty start but working with the office got all of the problems solved. In fact, this is a more affordable alternative, especially if you only need your trash picked up once per week.

Worst trash company that I have ever had.people are nasty change rules to help them spills trash all over the ground trust to charge u extra hoping u wont notice everyone I know that has had says same thing. Dont complain to them you go on the shut list and you get forgotten to pickup.i could go on for hours bottom line they people in charge have no clue how to run a business.

This is the WORST garbage company ever!!! Trucks are in bad condition, workers only be with the company for 2 weeks the most. The owner is a liar, dont respect workers, Doesnt pick up trash in a timely matter, Some NEW customers be waiting over 30 days for a can. I now deal with Waste Management. I recommend all ABC custormers to switch to a more reliable & professional company. ASAP!!! If I could I wouldnt give them 1 star.

Ive been with this company since 2004. Didnt have any issues until today. I chose to get my trash collected once weekly (Tuesdays). My trash was out not therefore did not get collected this Tuesday for multiple reasons. I called requesting a pickup this Thursday since a dew of my neighbors get their trash picked up then. In the past it was not an issue. I do not make this a habit. At times my trash is barely full and and simply dont put it out. Does thus mean I should get a refund or deduct from next bill? Well, I received a call from ABC Waste stating that there will be an additional $10 charge for coming out to get my trash.... This is unacceptable! Why should I have to pay extra for a trip that theyll be making out here anyways. I have been a loyal customer and to add insult to injury I am a disable veteran. I told the person I spoke to I was on vacation, but that was it... I was not feeling well. I feel shouldnt have to go through scrutiny of letting her know that sometimes my memory fails due to my disabilities and Im not going to remember to put the trash out on the days required. I shouldnt be nor anyone else be penalized for forgetting to put their trash out. Especially being a customer that always pays on time and been with ABC Waste for 20 years. My neighbor also told me he was recently charge extra for having too much trash!!! Smdh! You guys are so wrong! I may be switching to another company.

This company is a JOKE! There is no possible way that my garbage should be missed 3 weeks in a row. I have had to call a CELL PHONE 8 times in a row to speak with someone, tell through crying babies in the background and still have to wait another three days to receive services. I am cancelling for another company with a physical address AND a much cheaper price!!!!! ABC has been a Waste of time and money.

I must change my initial opinion of ABC Waste after a frustrating week of trying to reach them to find out why they did not pick up our trash. The bill is paid so there should be no issue. You can imagine my surprise when Ive attempted to call before 5pm only to get a message that the office is closed. Now we will have two weeks of trash to go out and if we put it in the bin until it over flows, well be charged extra. Im not so happy about this service any longer. The most important thing in running a business is customer service. Sadly they have none.

I have paid 166 dollars in the month of December. My trash has not been picked up in 3 weeks I did realize i missed a payment but when they brought it to my attention i made my payments. There is no reason my trash should not have been picked up....unbelievabe.

Went for a walk in interview, her son was the only manager who was professional. As well the secretary or HR, if you talk to your employees like that, I can only imagine how you are to your customers. Now I see why they have a high turnover rate

Ive been with abc waste for 15 years ive had great professional service best rates and remember machinery is man made trucks can break down and have on my pickup route so just take these things into consideration it happens to all companys

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! They do take your money and dont pick your trash up. You will put your trash out a day before and then when you call them and actually get a hold of them, they tell you that your trash can wasnt at the curb. I have actually filmed these guys driving past my trash can. Actually told them i would send them the video of it and they didnt care. Also, if you try calling them, they just let it go to voice mail. They wont return your message. Listen to the reviews, these people are scum bags. Go with another company that actually do there job because these people are glorified thieves.

Just found ABC waste employees going into our trash container (commercial), although we do not use their company. Stopped truck and asked what they were doing here, Driver copped attitude, didnt understand why I was asking him to leave private property. Another corporate client, next door was using them; although he had never seen them depart through our facility. What then was their employees doing opening our gate, looking in our trash container, driving around our property, and walking in the back of our buildings, where access doors to several offices were, when we were not on their route for pickup. Beware!!!

Worst trash company in Savannah. Save yourself a lot of headaches and missed pick ups, go with someone else. Oh and also I spray painted ABC on the side of my can because they wouldn’t even replace a very old container that you couldn’t see their name anymore.

CHEAP is an understatement. God forbid you miss a payment, you will have the RUDE trash truck driver being escorted by a police officer to pick up the dumpster. Every time they DO pick up they leave a mess. Trash everywhere. I dont think any of the employees know how to smile.

Had for about 7 months, constantly having issues with them not picking up my trash for some reason or another that is unclear. Today is my scheduled pick up day and yet my cab sits on the curb stuffed with trash. Theyre Impossible to get ahold of, never returns calls. As soon as I can get ahold of someone I am canceling my service with them and finding someone more efficient.

They miss pick ups all the time, and then charge you a full months price anyway! Can never get through to anyone to fix these issues, and they wont pick up any trash outside of the ONE can marked ABC. Ridiculous. Switched to Curbie. They charge 50% LESS and will take everything!!

Many times, despite having my trash out the evening before, my trash would not be picked up unless I called the office. Now, most recently, due to a technical difficulty, my trash has not been picked up for 2 weeks, going in to three, nor has anyone elses in my neighborhood. Cannot reach ABC Waste, at first it would go to the message about the technical difficulty and now it just rings and rings or beeps a busy signal. Very disappointed, thankful Im moving soon to a different community with trash collection included in HOA dues. Will never recommend to anyone.

This is the worst service in Savannah. I went with them because 8 years ago they were the cheapest company in town. You really get what you pay for. They always return my garbage can by placing it in the MIDDLE of my drive way or in the street. Every Tuesday I come home I have to leave my car in the street to move the can and then pull in. I have attempted to reach them on numerous occassions and have even left messages but have not heard back. I am switching service to Savannah Waste.

Not the worst, but not really that great either. We used ABC for the last 3 years without too many problems. Their trucks occasionally blow up on them, but theyre courteous and let you know when theyre coming. We live in a small cul-de-sac and we were late putting out our can a couple of weeks ago. The truck was one house past on the other side of the street, so I waved and smiled to the guy and pointed to my can, he smiled back. I figured well he has to come back this way in a few minutes because there are only a couple of people in our street that use this service. He did come back, and then drove straight past. When I called ABC, the telephonist spoke with the collector from that day and then told me it was all my fault and there was nothing that they would do about it this week. I felt ABC refusal was unnecessarily mean on both counts and so I have cancelled my service. Im going to try a different vendor for now.

Understanding that the weather is bad on today., however some businesses are open and running. Is ABC? This is one of the key reasons I have an issue with this agency and thus thinking of leaving. Why not? Everyone else in my neighborhood has. Wouldnt it be a good business practice to notify your customers or otherwise have a recording available when you call the office that trash would not be picked up today due to inclement weather? Vs not just showing up and know recording. When calling the office all it does is ring. Wasnt ABC aware on yesterday like everyone else of the bad weather, and therefore could have planned accordingly?

I swear some of the dumbest people live in savannah. After fighting with the lady who works for abc waste because they havent taken our trash in 4 weeks, she basically told me Im a liar and that I havent been taking my crash cans to the curb for 4 weeks and thats why they havent taken it (there was only one week I forgot), she sent the truck back to pick it up and they stole one of our cans! Seriously?! It didnt even say abc waste on it. It said savannah recycle. Unbelievable! I would give them a negative 50 stars if I could, I have had nothing but issues with them since we bought our house last June.

I wanted to support a women owned business. However, services are mediocre, garbage pick up service is poor and executive management does not provide quality service for long time customers. Finances are their priority. Disappointed.

I use to pay something like sixty dollars, and that covered three months of pickup. Now, Theyre asking for 71 dollars EVERY MONTH. Has anyone else have this problem; if so, please let me hear it.
