One of, if not the worst towing companies out there. This place will scam you for any dollar they can think of and have absolutely no justification for the charges. Avoid at all costs, dont make the same mistake I did. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.

Quick. Knowledgeable. Professional. Our car quit in the middle of a busy intersection and refused to go into neutral so it could be pushed to the shoulder. I called 2 other tow truck places before I got ahold of these guys and they were out in minutes. They told me the price over the phone so I was informed before they came. Towed to a repair shop. Amazing experience during a tough situation.

These people towed a car I had sold. Provided them with notice of sale. They keep sending me letters telling me I owe them money! The supervisor Rob told me he can’t be bothered requesting the necessary info from the DMV to put the debt in the new owner’s name. They don’t care about the community and only care to make money. Unethical company and I don’t ever want to cross paths with them in any way.

For the situation;⁶ I was pretty amazed at how easy the process was, respectful of all my tools and belongings. So when I get impounded, I only want to get impounded by Allens...thanks.

My precious beetle car got towed by this company, as a collector, the beetle was one of my favorites, and because Im a strong independent petite person who likes to collect cars they tried to hustle me and ask for more money than a normal towing company would ask for.. absolutely disgrace!

Awesome and professional service!!!Rob and his crew did an outstanding and professional job! He picked an 1850lb load off an LTL semi-trailer and placed it in my garage. He needed to pull the load to the rear in the trailer by tow truck winch and then picked it off the lift-gate w/ a Bobcat forklift set-up. I could not have done this myself if I had rented equipment (more reasonable cost-wise, too). This was the smoothest part of this whole project!!! I will definitely recommend him and use him in the future!

As a former competitor of Allen’s, I can say with certainty the level of professionalism, and skills is unparalleled. The owner knows what he is doing is while they may not be the cheapest-they know what they are doing.Their former location in Albert Lea has now become a shell of what it used to be, frankly it saddens me. That said the current ownership and leadership at Allen’s is still in Savage, and they know exactly what they are doing and how to do it. As a tow company owner-I can legitimately say if the need were to arise-if I was in their area I would call Allen’s far before I called anyone else.

Very willing to work with you on impounded vehicles. Lady in the office went the extra mile to help me out, was tremendous about calling me back, and they were all very courteous and respectful! Made a stressful situation just a little more manageable!

They did a great job. I was involved in a huge 20+ vehicle crash. They towed my vehicle to a repair shop and gave me and my two dogs to a motel.

I only used the website, never visited... The website was informative however. Hope i never need their services actually ..

This is the worst place to have your car towed. Owner is a dishonest person that shouldn’t be doing business, he lied even to law enforcement officers and he had no compassion of two poor people after Christmas. The owner just want money, don’t get confused by this people, dont let him take advantage of you under any circumstances, call somebody else if you need to.They took a car without authorization to charge almost $400 for just one night.

Unprofessional and rude, worst experience ever

My car was towed for parking, the people at the front desk were more then helpful. I was treated with respect which is unlikely after being impounded. The people in the lot were very helpful with getting me to my car, and even jumpstarting the car for free. Everything was reasonably priced. Great customer service and attitudes.

My kid broke down with 2 flat front tires on his way to work (weird), called Allens for a tow and they were there in like 10 min. Hooked up the car and towed it to Discount tire in Burnsville...total time like 20 min from hook up to delivery. cost $90 bucks. These guys and the driver were life savers and fast. Great 5 star service.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star. They are horrible people. My sister was in an accident. Her car slid of the icy road into a freezing pond. Herself along with her 1 year old son. They both made it out alive but when she called for details and to ask if she can get her stuff out of the vehicle, mind you, her purse, id, insurance card, keys, plus all of her sons stuff was in the car. She told them she couldnt pay them without her credit card or bank card. My sister and her son almost died in the car accident. These people had no remorse. Had no sympathy. All he kept saying was How am I suppose to get paid?. My question is, How do you get paid if your holding all her stuff hostage? She cant even go to the bank. You have her ID. Your company is wrong for treating people like this, especially when they just endured such a traumatic experience. Shame on you guys!!!

The few men that helped me while my car was in their lot were nothing but rude and disrespectful. I had a few questions regarding my car, but nobody seemed to want to help me. A few days prior to getting my car out all I wanted was my house key off the key chain. They wouldnt even let me get that. I put all thumbs down for this towing company. Ive had better service at plenty of other places..

Only open one hour on the weekend. Very challenging for people that have had their car towed. When its not for a DUI or an accident - this makes it difficult for people in a very unlikely situation that wasnt of their own doing. The guys there have little to no compassion or empathy.

Tow truck driving through Savage during snow storm fishtailing at every intersection. Went around a car to drive over the median to turn right on a red light on HWY 13. Almost wrecked a car that had the right-of-way because driver was too impatient to wait his turn. Don’t drive like an idiot in the middle of winter when you have your company name on your truck.

Quick, fast service when I needed it. Picked up my vehicle and dropped it off at my shop of choice, all with out me having to be present t and wait.

Predators. Today I parked my car in a public lot in the wee early hours in the morning, around 3:30 a.m. I came back at 7 a.m. and it was gone. There was a big white box truck blocking the sign announcing there was a farmers market and the lot was used for a farmers market today. However, I found out it was called in just 30 minutes after I parked it there. The towing company charged me $230. The OWNER of the place was the one who handled the payment and would not budge on the price. On my bill, it says the basic tow fee is $125. I just called them and they said their basic tow fee for customers is $85 plus $3/mile. This company is an example of predatory businesses that are hurting the reputation of real genuine and honest citizens and small businesses. I will be filing a complaint and lodging a small claim against the business and if this has happened to you, I urge you to do the same or contact me and I will help you.

My parents car broke down in my driveway in Savage and they needed a tow to Hudson, WI. Allens towing was here in 15 minutes and towed them at a very reasonable cost.Highly recommend this towing service to anyone! A+++

I needed a tow company that had a wrecker truck, not just a flatbed. Allens Tow had such a truck, came to my location very quickly, wrenched my pickup truck out from where it was stuck and charged a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend Allens Towing because of the equipment it has, the timely response and the cost.

Charged a truck driver over $1070 to pull a semi in a snow storm about 20 yards with a small pickup truck. When we complained about taking advantage of the situation their response was the price goes up based on demand and weather that day. Good luck with these crooks.

I will never use Allens Towing again in my life. They have no integrity and will lie to get themselves off the hook. However, being a person that will looks for the good in people, the young man that they sent out was very nice, but the manager, owner, or whoever talked to my Claims Adjuster because the towing bar screw that was attached to my truck broke causing my car to fall off the flatbed lied and told the Adjuster that it did not hit the ground, which is not true. I cant do business with people that are not truthful and Allen Towing fits that description.

I have used Allens towing for 5 years. They have the best equipment around and great service. I will always call them first.

While moving my car during winter storage to Shakopee from Burnsville, my BlackJack in my alarm came on and completely shut the whole car down. I did not know the code to turn off the alarm so I was dead in the water. Zero degrees outside, I didnt have time to google anything on the side of the road or call the previous owner. I decided to go with Allens Towing because they were the only flatbed tow truck with the most aggressive angle for lowered vehicles. My Honda S2000 was 3 off the ground and rear wheel drive but the guy they sent was VERY careful making sure nothing was going to damage my car. He took a lot of extra steps that made me feel like he cared about my car while under his watch. Got me to Shakopee with no issues. Very expensive IMO ($235 for 14 miles). However, for the situation I was in I would have paid more just to get out of that mess. For me, I dont really have a choice since they have the only truck that can tow my car without damaging my transmission or me taking off the front bumper, so I have them saved on my phone in case of a future emergency.

My daughters jeep broke down on Cty rd 42 a week before Christmas. She called for help but before they could get there the police called Allens to tow the vehicle from one side of Highway 13 the apartments just on the other side of Highway 12 - no more than 3 blocks if that. Probably took you 20 minutes. She was charged Charged $125. I cant imagine was the charge would have been if it was 10 miles.

This company is unregulated in fees and charges and they over charge. They use a $35.00 Administrative Fee and a $20.00 Fuel Surcharge Fee on top of their towing and storage fees. I would never recommend Allens Towing Services.
