Rating this strictly based on their driver Tuesday night 9/21 on HWY 169 who practically ran me off the road in his tow truck. I was going 73mph in a 65mph but this guy kept riding my bumper then proceeded to swerve in and out of traffic at high rates of speed. I love when a company has their name on their trucks and then drive like this. Feel free to email me so we can see how tough you are outside your truck.

They are very professional, just doing there jobs, like Tony he is a very good guy.

Shady, crooks, liars-so many more words I could write to describe their shady business practices. Our trailer was towed from a parking lot where it was clearly marked with their signs that you could park trucks, trailers, and vehicles for up to 24 hours. I come back the next day-19 hrs later-to pick it up because it had a flat tire and it was impounded by this company. They said that I looked at the wrong signs! There were 12 signs that said that you could park there for up to 24 hours in the entire parking lot-at the entrance. Way at the other end of the parking lot there were three signs that said no dropped trailers-we never went that way and they actually seemed like they were for another lot. We only saw the signs as we entered that said we could park there up to 24 hours. We were charged $1100 for them to tow the trailer 1 mi from the parking lot-talk about misrepresentation. The owner stated that I didnt look at the right signs!!! How can he sleep at night!

AMAZING experience - best towing experience Ive ever had. 5/5 stars!When my car starter went out in St Paul, I called AAA and they dispatched Elite Towing. Driver Mitch Oakley quickly responded with a beautiful new F350 wrecker, which was well-equipped to handle a tough towing call. In spite of my SUV being located in a tight spot in the back of a buildings small lot, facing a fence and not able to go into neutral, Mitch got my vehicle on the wrecker and out of the lot. Because it was facing backward, he took side streets for 12 miles to make sure the vehicle was transported safely. Once at the destination, Mitch had an even greater challenge to deliver the car in a narrow alley, backing it up a ramp and into a mechanics garage. There was a LOT of ice and snow. Any other tow truck driver would have dumped my car in the alley and left, but Mitch did not give up; he must have made 25 attempts before he finally managed the impossible and got the vehicle up the ramp and INTO the garage. I cant say enough about Mitchs professionalism, friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate these special circumstances with my situation. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Elite Towing. I live in an apartment in Minnetonka. They towed my car. I had my permit in my dash and not on my windshield because bc ex ripped it off on purpose. It was very clear that my permit was sitting in the dash. But they towed it anyway. 270.00 and put me in a financial hardship. I had to call into work today. Horrible. -Angela

Had a great experience with this company! They were very responsive, fast, and professional. When your car breaks down it makes it more stressful waiting for a tow truck but they were there super fast which was a huge plus being I have a baby! It was affordable and they took care of my car.

I needed a tow for my stalled car. It is a 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider and it is my baby! The AAA dispatch send me a tow truck operated by Chris Sergot. What a delightful young man! He carefully hooked up my car and brought it back to my home and very carefully positioned it on my driveway exactly where I wanted it. All through this process he was pleasant and nice! I would like to congratulate Elite Towing for having such a nice employee.I think a raise is in order! Thanks Chris for a job well done.

This business is doing something sketchy. They tow legally parked cars for profit even with evidence of properly parked vehicle. Needs to be investigated by the BBB. I would go to a different company due to ethics.

The driver has supposedly been working for 10 years and became extremely aggressive when talking with 3 of us young girls. He tried to illegally tow a car that was legally parked and continuously argued with no evidence that it was illegally parked. Terrible company.

I called AAA and got connected to Elite Towing of MN and Chris Sergot was AWESOME!!!! He was to my truck in a short amount of time, super friendly and knew exactly where i requested to have my truck towed. Thank you Chris for rescuing me this AM!!!

⚠️WARNING⚠️ All customers be careful of this towing company. Their drivers are not properly trained on how to tow a vehicle. They ruined my rear differential while towing the vehicle. This company lied to the roadside assistance company that they used a dolly the whole time. That was false. Finally after 2.5months of back and forth, not having my vehicle the whole time and me recording a phone call from from the driver stating that he didnt use the dolly I was finally able to hold this company liable for the damages and get a check for $2500 to cover the damages. I wouldnt touch this company with a 10 foot pole.

So this was the best experience I have ever had with a company that deals with towing vehicles. My car was towed because I parked in a place I shouldn’t have. So I call and find my car. I gave him respect on the phone because he was just doing his job and he gave the respect right back. I did the early release and he was there at 2:30 am and I got my car yes you pay more but it’s more worth it for people who need there car ASAP. I appreciate them and have respect for them. Great service and glad they towed me over most other places.

I called for a tow from my garage because my Acadia wouldnt start. Geoff was great. My Insurance App showed they responded immediately to coming and the time expected. He arrived early and wanted to try it before he towed it in. He was able to start the car and was able to explain why he thought it happened, no need for a tow. I would highly recommend! Thank you!

This company acts like the Mob, they hook up my driver after he parked for 15min and demanded $600 cash to not tow it, only cash so they do not need to pay the government anything and can keep it off of the books. My driver goes to get the cash in 10min and they ended up towing it. The police were useless probably because they got a little bit of a pad on their income from it as well. This is not the first time I have had a truck towed, it is never fun. However this was the first time it felt like I was being extorted.

Towed our car a day before Christmas Eve while my car sat in a designated parking spot for our apartment, we were told that someone called it in as abandoned. Yet we have been going in and out of that car for months trying to get it fixed so I can have a car to drive to work, they towed it illegally. And I was not informed of our car even being towed no note no notification nothing. Then when I finally found my car at there year after calling the police they refused to let me pay in anything but cash. 400 in cash I might add. And when bringing up that they illegally towed my car they hung up and blocked my husbands number, And then proceed to hang up on us a second time after getting our housing coordinator involved. We also have the illegal towing on camera. And now for the 3rd day in a row there phones just so happen to be down and no one can call them to get there cars out of towing so they keep racking up money on cars that have been towed. I am on county assistance and the money that would normally pay for my lights and rent and food for the month now has to go to getting my car out of this shop. If anyone is towed by this company I would advise getting a lawyer to look at it because everyone I’ve talked to told me to sue them for the illegal actions taken by this company.

Called AAA when my husband got stuck in a ditch yesterday and Elite Towing was dispatched. They were not timely at all (2.5 hours later than my predicted time), but I also wasnt with the car - so others may have been priority. HOWEVER, when they did show up Jeff was GREAT! He got the car out of the ditch and off of a road sign with NO DAMAGE (aside from the damage my husband inflicted when he hit the sign). He took his time and really was so nice and helpful! His customer service more than made up for the delay/timeliness issue.

They are nasty, they accused me of knowing I parked illegally because I had my parking break on when I was parked in an apartment complex. They charge over $250 dollars for the tow and the employees are terrible and will accuse you of things. No wonder they keep going out of business and starting back up again with a different name.

Our 2018 Rav4 wouldnt start with only 14k miles on it. Toyota had sent out another tow company who made us wait an hour before calling us back to tell us that no one was coming because they didnt have a truck that would fit the clearance of 68. Toyota had us call Elite towing and within 45 minutes of that call, Isaac from Elite came to save the day. Isaac was extremely helpful and made sure to check everything before coming to the conclusion that it needed to be towed. He wasnt able to get in the parking garage but we were able to come up with a plan to push it where he could get it. He wasnt able to get the wheel dollies on in the garage and was forced to pull it up the ramp without them. He did this extremely carefully to not ruin the all wheel drive and it was done even better than I expected it to go. Overall it was the best towing experience I have ever had and had no damage to the car from being towed. I would recommend Elite Towing to anyone who wants to be taken care of the right professional way. Kudos to Isaac for being a pleasure to work with!

Our Pilot was dying on the road and managed to get it into a parking lot. Called our State Farm roadside assistance and they assigned Elite Towing to help us out.Ed showed up (on time) with a flatbed and got the Pilot loaded and back to our house. Ed also managed to get the Pilot in neutral and was able to back the Pilot into our garage.Ed was cheerful, professional and had a great sense of humor. I would use Elite Towing again.

During the morning of a snow storm my car hit a patch of snow coming of a ramp, my car spun, and I ended up in the ditch. I called Elite, they dispatched a couple trucks right away. They were to me within 20 minutes and I was out fo the ditch in another 15. Fastest service I have ever experienced from a tow company. Thomas was very friendly and they even lead me back into traffic after pulling out the car. An event that usually can ruin your day turned into a minor inconvenience. Thank you again! When it comes to towing, elite is the number 1 place Ill call! Very professional, excellent care when handling your vehicle and of-course “ON TIME WITH TIME NOTICE!” The communication between the staffs and truck drivers will give you a relief in the situation you’re in. These are the guys to go to! Definitely 5 star towing in my opinion!

My car was due to be towed for an issue with my license plate and tabs. I called to figure out how to not get my car towed. Tony offered to help me get my plates taken care of the next day and also ensured my car would not be towed. I dropped by their shop the next day and they fixed my issue within 15 minutes for free. It was very generous of them to do, and it saved me $100 off a previous quote.

By far the worst experience ever! My boyfriends car was towed; why they didnt contact him I dont even know( we have special parking stickers so that they dont tow residents) so we arrive at the property when theyre open hour is which is 9am; we arrive at about 9:20...so far weve been waiting 30minutes so far, and nobodys answering the door the phone number for them has been disconnected; we even saw someone drive in back!! What kind of business is this?!

Dont use this service for towing your car on a tight schedule, they simply wont show up on time.I had 2 hours window to get my car to a repair shop before closing time. They send me an ETA. I called 20 mn after the ETA to get another confusing answer.Simply 2hrs passed and the tow didnt show up yet I had to cancel it and request another one the next day.

This company is by far the worst, they have no sympathy for human error. They gave us no warning or even a chance to correct the error. They just took $450 from my family during a pandemic and before Christmas time. We parked a trailer in an area that was not allowed and unfortunately we did not know that the vehicle would be towed. My husband had to leave work early and miss on pay to beg for them to please work with him on the price and they still declined. $450 AGAIN $450 it’s not change that I have laying around to just give out that was our family savings.

Had towing done on a vehicle in October and had a misshap that cause damage to the vehicle and it was repaired and then reimbursed in full. They were honest about the issue and all is well.

Not professional tows vehicles illegally. Even if you are parked legally once they are hooked up they charge a drop fee or they tow. They prey on people. Very dishonest.

Towed my bobtail Sunday afternoon and went to their office 4am Monday because I had a load to pick up at 6am. They told me they don’t release cars/trucks until 9am. Went back at 9am and it cost me $1200 and the funny part is they only wanted cash. Total rip off!

I had a really good experience with this place! I was in a rush and needed a tow last minute but I wanted to do some price shopping. Elite had my best price beat by over $30. When I asked if they could text me the information so I could call back they said no problem. One place I tried to do that with said We dont do that. Its not our policy. Elite gave me no excuses and no headaches. They showed up on-time, explained what they were going to do and were professional. I technically had two tows because the first tow that arrived wasnt equipped to tow my vehicle. (Not their fault- they had no way of knowing.) They called a secondary tow immediately and they arrived within 5 minutes. NO additional cost. I will use them again! Thank you!!!!

My car died while driving in to work. Called the shop to let them know to expect me and asked for a recommendation on a tow company. They recommended Elite Towing. I called, they answered, and then they showed up. What made it a good experience was how quickly they got my car lifted and on our way to the shop. I would put it at under 2 minutes from arrival time to back on the road. The tow vehicle was very clean inside and out and the driver/owner was friendly and provided a fast and efficient service.

They were taking my car and wouldnt drop it when i was right there the guy ignored me like i didnt exist. Bad manners and horrible behavior!

I was referred to these guys from the mall of America. They came out and unlocked my car when I was stranded. They were prompt, curious, very professional, and were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend these guy to anybody in need.

They hired my brother to do sign work for their new trucks and then went AWOL when it was time to pay him. He took the owner to small claims court, and the owner didnt show up. My brother has no news yet on getting payment. I wouldnt ever recommend anybody who cant even confront someone with honesty after realizing they dont have the money to pay their bills.

Borrowing a vehicle from a friend for a couple of weeks and property management had approved the parking w/o a permit. Vehicle was impounded by mistake by Elite Towing due to a miscommunication. Was able to get vehicle back the next (Saturday) without any issue. Very professional. Definitely will use their services in the future if a tow is needed.

My name is Edgar, Service was awesome it took 10 min for the Tow truck to show up and tow my car after the control arms from the car snapped off the guy was super cool and helpful and was given a very fair price if ever need a future tow I will not hesitate to call them and recommend them to family and friends.

Not friendly. No posted office hours. They conveniently close whenever they want and if you dont get out there in time you get charged another $40/day. Should be illegal to hold someone elses property hostage and not even be available past 2pm for them to get it back. Id give them 3 stars if they posted business office hours and were at least open until 5pm each day. Obviously Im biased because I would never give them 5 stars since they make their money preying on low income housing by cutting deals with slumlords.

My truck broke down in a construction zone on my way to work. Elite was there within 10 minutes of calling. The driver was professional and went the extra mile for me.

They towed my vehicle from my reserve parking spot that I pay for when I found out my vehicle was gone I called them and he refused to bring my vehicle back pretty much told me to f off and said I would have to pay for it in the morning.

A few years ago, this company (Eagan location?) towed my car from the guest parking lot next to my townhome in Apple Valley. It was Thanksgiving weekend and I had driven the vehicle the day before they towed it. They claimed it was parked there for over 24-hours, which was against the association rules. I argued with them that it hasnt been 24-hours when they towed it. They, of course, called me a liar, as did the association manager. I tried to find video proof from a gas station I stopped at, and they said their cameras were only covering the interior of the store. It sucked! They charged me about $300. I asked em for proof. They showed me a pic of the car already jacked up off the ground

Once I got to their office no one was there. Then I called and they told me I needed exact change for the tow. The rude lady on the phone said I needed to walk to the store to get change (I had to Uber there). She told me they didnt except credit cards. Once the owner arrived I told him I was $30 short and he said he could take a card for the rest?!! Trying to sneak a couple transactions by Uncle Sam. Ohh, they also wrecked my transmission (2018 F150). Dont use them if you have the choice.

I was visiting my sister and she forgot to tell me about her apartments parking rules. These guys towed my car and dispite my surprise they were very respectful. Im from New York and I expected much worse. Rose was very helpful on getting me my car back and robbie even helped me to jumpstart it. After reading all these reviews I see that everybody is just angry for getting their car impounded for being in the wrong. People should read further into their reviews and stop blaming these people for their own mistakes.

This company is dispicable! The owner is rude and aggressive! They towed my vehicle from an apartment parking lot due to snow plowing on a Saturday. I called the only number listed for them and did not get through, it said “voice mailbox is full”, I looked for hours of operation on their website and there were none! The only hours I found were on google maps that said they’re closed on the weekend. So Inwaited until Monday morning to call, the owner is charging me for each day over the weekend. He tells me he doesn’t believe me that Incalled and couldn’t get through. He then accused me of emailing him something rude, which I didnt nor do i know their email address. He started raising his voice at me, was a complete jackass. I understand why this business has several 1 star reviews on google and someone should fine them or shut them down. You do not treat people this way!!
