Technician called one day in advance, arrived at the announced time and did everything professionally and efficiently.He even went above and beyond, asking whether we needed anything else provided or supplied. It turns out, we needed some ant traps which he gave us at no additional cost.Weve been with Terminix for almost 4 years now and all is good so far. Nothing to complain about.

Many things I could say, but will start with Boom Truck left on our multi million dollar property for a week after service! This cost our association time and money to reschedule other services with penalty imposed to us. No compensation was offered at all! We had to call them everyday literally! They took us for granted and didnt return calls most days and not fast enough on others, yet they were prompt to pick up payment day after service. We had to threaten to have the boom truck towed. They missed the tow truck by 3 hrs literally!!! The fumigation crew they sent to do the work was not very professional, they even left my windows and door open during the process which prevented full gas saturation. Came home to a bunch of live ants same day we were cleared to return. Out of 4 units completed only 1 unit had this issue which is the one where the window and door was left open. Regional manager was contacted on all these matters. He took his time reaching out to me with his very non chalant disposition. We hired them because we liked the Rep Gary, but this didnt turn out great in the end.
Asked them to come out once, they came out didnt do anything they said they were going to do to my house. Then they are now sending me bill after bill. When you call customer service they put you on hold for long periods of time or talk to you then put you on hold hoping you will just hang up or give up. Just wished they would do the job that was asked in the first place. I did pay my bill bit will not pay another bill for something they didnt do. Now they are going after my credit score.
Clint was GREAT! Very thorough, mannerful, wore shoe coverings. Took his time with attention to detail. Were very pleased with the service.
I paid for a termite treatment. They made appointments to come to my home but they didnt make me aware of the appts and would just show up at my house while I was as work. I spent 30 mins on phone scheduling my appt for today at 11am. No one showed up, I called at 12:15 and they couldnt find an appt for but said they would escalate this to their local branch manager and I would get a call right back. 4 hours later no call and no one showed up. O called again and they said my treatment was canceled. I still have termites!
Great tech who covered all the bases. Explained everything and told us what to look for and do about scheduling again. So far, so good.
2x I was reschedules within 24 hours after making time for these people. Then, after two services and about 30 days of time the problem persists with no problems resolved. So I requested a call from the manager and did not get one in about 6 days of waiting, called back in to talk to Garret (service manager) and talk about the worst service I have ever had. When asking for my full refund he not only told me he would give me only partial credit but then hung up on me. I did not swear or use any vulgarity, I only stayed persistent with my stance on wanting the full refund being that I’m a small business owner and had to arrange multiple days that were then cancelled last minute. Times were miscommunicated, service is poor, management is a joke, and at the end of the day they did nothing to help the problem. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else.
Our tech, James, is very knowledgeable. We live in cattle country and bugs are plentiful here, but James regular service nit only took care of the bugs that got in, but asured us they wont chime back!

Damaged roof. Hired an outside company to do the tenting. Cant even get anyone to come look at it. A new roof a year ago. Poor customer service. They tell you someone will contact you within 48 hours. They dont. 8 business days later. Still havent seen anyone. National company I expected better than this.
So I dont know why I have a ditch behind me and rats decided to pick my house to make their Attic a home 😫🤔 I called 15 different places ended up going with terminix cuz they were the only ones they could get out within a couple days and not a couple weeks and the guy remembered my house from 30 years ago when my grandparents use them, I think its awesome when you run into people that are that dedicated to their jobs that they remember little things like that... They came did everything they need to and so far knock on wood I havent heard a critter since then

I have been with Terminix (Sarasota FL office) for about a year for quarterly general pest control. Have had problems with how this office schedules the appointments from the beginning. At first they would try to shorten the time between quarterly visits by 2 or 3 weeks. Each time they tried that I would call and move it out to 3 months. Then they started not showing up for the appointments and not even call to re-schedule. Out of 4 visits I have seen 3 different technicians.No one showed for the October appointment and it has been re-scheduled 3 times in 3 weeks. Each time I had to call them after the no-show. I have never been able to speak directly to anyone in the Sarasota office. Messages left on what I was told is the Sarasota office direct line have never been returned. Calls to central office always get plenty of apologies and promises that they will have someone from Sarasota call me back but still waiting to here from my local office.When technicians do show up they have done a good job. The best one was named Clinton, but he was from another office and was just filling in.Terminix management, if you are reading this, you are about to lose a customer if you dont start communicating with me from my local office, Sarasota!

The technicians are always very informative and knowledgeable. They are also very accommodating with my work schedule. I work as a nurse on night shift and the last technician was scheduled in the morning, but without me asking he changed it to that afternoon at the last minute so I could sleep. I really appreciated that, because I wanted to address my interior bug problems. Also, I like that the technicians connect via text and your service allows us to track and see when they will arrive. Very convenient.

I have constantly called Terminix, and asked them to please call or come out and spray my home. They originally had me for service three weeks ago, bumped me four times, and said they’d be out here today. The problem is that I’ve either been told by the service rep service on the 1-800 number that the branch managers, Jack or Vinny will call me. Nobody has called, and the response is by the service rep, we have a shortage of techs in the area. Well, I’m not being difficult, but that isn’t my issue. If you want my business, please call back! Also, they’ll lose more customers from lack of communication and poor management. To all those that see this review, save yourself the headache and choose another bug service.

I was extremely disappointed with Terminix! The lack of professionalism, availability, omitted instructional paperwork, listening to my requests, telling me everything looked okay, then tenting the wrong areas, killing my plants and dismantling my deck. My address was not complete. No communication whatsoever, or had rushed conversations. I was just given a lame apology. Then they foolishly left my key under the mat in plain sight without telling me, instead of delivering it later as mentioned in my contract. My Customer Service agent lacked good communication skill, and didn’t pay attention to my complaints. I definitely am disappointed and would Not recommend Terminix to anyone!

The initial response was professional and effective. Results were seen in the first two days. A followup was scheduled for a week later and no one came to do the service due to lack of personnel; at our request a supervisor was sent to perform the service: he was rude and seemed bothered by having to come and do the service himself. Never saw him again. Unpleasant and unprofessional behavior.

They came out 3 times and treated my house for the wrong issue. After the 3rd visit and my problem continued. I called another service within 5 mins the properly diagnosed and treated my house. Terminix claims that offer 100% money back Guarantee. I requested a refund and got the run around from Dave the manager for months. Still no refund... find someone else!
I had subterraenean termites two years ago Terminix put bait traps around my house and I have not had any since. They come once a year to check the traps and change them if they need to.
They are very knowledgeable and friendly, They also use due care while working in and around my house.
I had just recently purchased a house and I signed up for the year plan. The specialist that came out to service my residence was very knowledgeable and was very professional. Have not seen anymore bugs since they provided their service. The email update regarding their arrival made things extremely convenient for me. I will definitely reccomend them to anyone else in need of service.

Im about 9 months into my year plan. Terminix has my house on pest lockdown! Its almost like clockwork really. Near the end of a quarter I might spot one silverfish or one wasp nest -- just like that my tech is on his way to start the next three months with no pests!
Communication is timely and ongoing during service window as well has what was done and should be done. MY Tech Pat is fabulous.

Posting for my Grandmother.Everything is great, unless you actually need termite treatment.First, I am a 90 year old widow, and I have never seen a company treat someone so poorly. They provide false advertising about the services provided. I was swindled out of money for service that was not properly done, was told I needed to spend more than necessary for treatments and remedies, and was given the run-around for months at a time. All the experience I have had is from the Sarasota office, which coincidentally changes management more often than any company I have ever seen.I have dealt with numerous people from service techs (James Diggs, Louis Ross) and management that was supposed to help resolve my issues (Timothy Robbins, Vinnie), and others.I paid over $1300 for treatment and service after noticing termites in my home. I received a marginal treatment plan that did not fix the problem. They were terrible to get a hold of, and gave me the runaround in even getting people out to inspect and treat my house. The service technicians lied and said they tried to come to my house to treat it, but were run off. I was told I needed to destroy my front porch so they could access the damage at one inspection, and told that the entire house needed to be tented during another inspection. Neither of which turned out to be true. Management that is supposed to handle complaints don’t resolve anything, and gave excuse after excuse.Eventually, I had to pay again for the same “service” to have another company come out to the house, inspect and advise whether the porch needed to be destroyed or the house needed to be tented. They said neither was needed to complete the treatment. They also notated that there were no drill holes in any of the cement under my house, nor any evidence that any treatment was ever completed. In one inspection and treatment, the other company did more to provide service and treatment for my termite damage than Terminix ever did when I tried for over a year to resolve my problem.
My tech Richard Harmon (Todd) listens to my concerns every single time he does a service and addresses them in a caring manner. He is professional, knowledgeable, and demonstrates a genuine desire to provide me with 100% customer satisfaction. He is a great representative for Terminex! Excellent service!
New to Florida and the rat and bug thing is all very unsettling. Rich was great! He not only took care of my rodent issue, he also took the time to educate me on the importance of proactive maintenance for securing my house of termites, bugs and rodents. Ant problem noticeably better in just one visit
Customer Service was excellent when I requested service. Tyler was prompt, listened to my concerns and responded to take care of the silverfish and roaches. He even explained how he would handle the wolf spiders.
4 out of 5 stars simply because of the continued fire ant problem in the back yard (mostly). If the products used could actually keep the fire ants from popping up Id give 5 stars in a New York second.

I dont know that Ive ever had a worse experience with any company before. My father in law had terminix for years at his Sarasota home. We recently sold his house so he could move into an assisted living community. Upon inspection, it was revealed that his house had an infestation of termites in his sun room. Terminix wouldnt offer the level of repairs that the buyers were asking for. We ended up having to hire a different company to tent and fumigate the room, because we really needed to sell the house to fund his new living expenses.I wish that was the end of the nightmare, but thats not the case. Even though we cancelled the service when he sold the house, they went out and did another service and sent us a bill. After about an hour on hold and arguing with different customer service reps, we were finally told the bill was being cancelled out and the service would be ended. Now, a about a month later, I get another bill in the mail from terminix and had to go through the process all over again. After about 30 minutes on hold and explaining the situation to another rep, they again removed the bill and sent me to someone else to again finalize the cancelation. I went through the whole explanation again and this time the rep.wasnt in the mood to deal with my frustrations and hung up on me. I was not yelling or being rude, but just frustrated. I called back and finally spoke to someone who was a little more sympathetic and the account is now finally closed. I hope :(

Have always been happy with our technician for our regular service but have had an awful experience with trying to get a termite inspection. Terminix no-showed for the fourth appointment in a row today. I had even called prior to the appointment time to confirm it, which they did and I was told I would get a call. An hour and a half later, I call back and am told my appointment was re-scheduled for tomorrow. No one had called me and at this point I have missed 6 hours of work due to all these no-show appointments over the past week. Incredibly inconsiderate.
My experiences over the past 3 years with Terminix has been a very positive and productive experience. All of their technicians have been most courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I have Terminix protection for pest control, dry wood termites, and subterranean termites and have been very happy with all three services. I would highly recommend Terminix to anyone and everyone needed these types of services.
Everyone I have dealt with that term in ex have been professional and courteous. They are prompt, complete the job as stated, and are a good deal.
We had used a locally owned extermination company for almost three years. Two weeks before it was time for the exterminator to come and spray our house and garage for pest monsters the little pest monsters would start showing their little selves. One after another and another and another one and then oops there were two then ten, then so many we couldn’t count them. We knew we had to change companies. We called Terminix. Terminix gave us an estimate that week and the next week they sent the best monster critter getter to our house to rid it of all of these unwanteds! WOW! And boy do I mean WOW! She did the best job of clearing our house of everyone of those pests, monsters, roaches, ants or whatever names they are called. The honest truth is we have not seen another living roach, or any other nasty pests in our house. It is wonderful. I am no longer scared to open a cabinet door or a drawer in the kitchen or bathrooms or any room in our house. Our house feels so clean that we are now enjoying intertaining our friends and family and we are so proud to have the best exterminator anywhere helping us to keep our house free of monsters and pests! Thanks Terminix, she is the best exterminator ever!!
David is always there if I need him. He has come back to make sure fire ants that have bitten me while weeding, or bitten my dogs (sending them to the vet) to ensure they won’t return on the surface or below ground. He always tells me to call him if I need him. He excels and goes beyond what he needs to do with each service. Thank you, David! My dogs, family and I appreciate you and your hard work!

You have an investment... your home. Living in Florida you are subject to sub-terrain termites. Did you know they can travel a football field long to find food? In my neighborhood, Ive seen at least 12 homes being tented. You have to leave your home for 3 days and pack up everything due to the chemicals used to eliminate the sub-terrain termites. However, the damage is already done. Then, you may have to have the wood/beams in your home re-installed at an additional cost. Is it worth it? No... purchase a service contract with Terminix. Payments are easy and affordable and they offer monthly payments. Dont waste your money on a unknown termite treatment company. Use the best - Terminix. Otherwise, you will not have the comfort of knowing your house is protected. The contracts can be renewed yearly at a discounted amount. Terminix also offers many other services. Take the time to read their website and call them. Our technician is wonderful. He keeps us informed, does a great job and was friendly.
The entire company is excellent, the dispatch office noticed me when the tech would be at my house. The tech was prompted and efficient, also very informative about what I need to do to help keep my home bug free.

Care about the individual
We use Terminix for mosquito control. Our home is next to a pond in Sarasota Florida and we have on open patio without screens. We are able to use our patio all Summer without being bothered by mosquitoes. Thank you Terminix for providing such a great product!

Extremely difficult company to deal with in making appointments, billing and service. Family has been Terminix customer for decades, however, when there was actual termite problem they totally dropped the ball. No show appointments, absolutely impossible to have any contact with local branch. A localized attempt to treat was made with - call if you see any wings etc before we insisted on follow up.. No real attempt made to ensure rest of house was treated. At this point I lost all faith in level of service. Branch manager called probably after my report to the Better Business Bureau and tried to make things right. This was over a two month span of time and NUMEROUS telephone calls by us. Currently am trying to get refund of premiums paid with no success so far. It has been a month. So much for guarantees.
This company has been asked multiple times to stop soliciting in our neighborhood. We have two large signs that state no soliciting at the entrance. They always claim that they were at my neighbors house and are offering a group discount. We live in a neighborhood where everyone has the same company and it is not terminix. I dont care how good the product is if the company doesnt want to show respect I wont be using the services ever. Even when it comes time to consider a new company, we will not be considering this one.
Our technician, Clint Mitchell, always does a great job. He is knowledgeable of all types of pests and just as importantly knows how to kill them. Clint is a hard worker and extremely personable. You would be wise to model your future pest technicians after Clint Mitchell.

I truly liked my experience with Terminix, I recently had attic insulation added and the technician was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my question and offered some very insightful information. Louis and Dillon were very professional and true gentlemen.
I have paid over 1900 dollars to have Terminix treat my home for bed bugs. They did the initial treatment two weeks ago. We were still seeing bugs so they came again yesterday. Two hours after they left I found most of my furniture was never inspected and is still infested. I called terminix on the phone and they told me they could not send me anyone else until late next week. They said if I didnt like that option they would issue a refund. This company has cost me over 3000 dollars all told and now they are refusing to help me? Stay far Far away from Terminix in Sarasota
