We initially signed up for a year of service. (Discount if paid up front).We had a company prior. Their first service was fine, but about a week or so later, we started finding palmetto bugs in the house. (new house).We called pest bear and requested someone to come address the situation. (this was a Monday) They said they would not be able to have my tech come out til Friday!That was enough to cancel. Called and left a message and still have not received a call back.

Avoid this business! They claim to have sprayed, but my Ring camera shows they did not. I call to cancel, but no answer or return call after leaving voicemail. The online contact us does not work either. Neighbors yards glow, while Im looking like a fool.

This company is a complete rip-off, they were doing my lawn care and peat control. They never showed up for some months and when they did show up service work was performed very poorly. I have been using them for 6 months now and my yard looks worse than when I started.On the last visit, the office manager Andrew told the technician do not service my residence unless I will pay and additional fee that was never apart of the service. Mind you My bill is paid in advance monthly. Horrible company, horrible customer service, and even worse office staff. Please save yourself a headache and money in your wallet and just call Massey or Trugreen. True professionals.

John Ortiz knocked on my door very professional noticed some bug activity on my house and fortunately I was having ants and roaches all over the place the technician Jose came out and sprayed the inside and the outside of the house said he had to do a two week follow up came back in two weeks like clockwork contacted me before he came I’m surprised with some of the reviews I’ve read but I’ve had a good experience with this company so far and would recommend them to my family friends and neighbors.

All of us in the Silverleaf community in Parrish now have the picture/video of your staff member drumming up business by claiming to be a board member of our HOA and threatening homeowners with fines if they do not hire your company. You have lost all credibility here. I will be happy to send along the picture of your misrepresenting staffer.

There is a salesman that has been traipsing [read: trespassing] through our neighborhood, lying to everyone. Let’s start with the fun lies first:1. PestBear works with our HOA board and we (everyone in the neighborhood) is required to use their services.2. He is on the board himself and will issue you a fine if you don’t sign up for PestBear’s service.3. He tells each household (or at least most of them) that their neighbors just signed up because the deal he is offering is so great... so you should sign up too!Not only is this incredibly bold, it’s quite unethical. Luckily there is video proof of these lies and they have been forwarded to our HOA board (the real one - that he isn’t a part of). Perhaps it would be in the best interest of this company to make sure they hire truthful employees, and also teach them not to trespass in gated communities.

Still wondering if they are worth the cost

Dont waste your time or money. First they dont show up not just once but several times no show. Then when they did they killed all our shrubs and wont do a thing about it. Putting blame on everything else except them. Their staff is very untrained and dont know what they are doing. Several other neighbors cancelled them also after issues.

The most horrible service ever. I usually never leave bad comments, but this company tried the best for them. I signed up for their services a year ago. In the summer they just abandoned me, telling nothing. In the fall they came back with no phone call again and sprayed my grass. Well, in one year the grass didnt look better and I terminated everything with them. It took me an hour to confirm the termination. Guess what! In 2 week their worker with no phone call showed up to say my yard again. I was at home! I explained I terminated everything and he left. Next day I found that they charged me for that! Really?I will never have any business with this company! And for sure all my friends will know how good you are.Again, I never leave bad comments, but you, guys deserve them.

I have had a termite plan in place with Pest bear since approx. 2005 for 15 years I have paid for termite inspection which included termite damage protection. When I discover termite damage they refuse to pay. This company is a total scam, they will take your money and when you try to put in a claim they refuse to pay. One guy comes out and tells you yes looks like subterranean termites then 2 days later a supervisor comes out to try and convince you that the warranty is void because of moisture. The area has been open for several days now and we had 2 days of rain.Dont trust this company to stand behind their warranty when you need it!!!

We have been using Pest Bear for several years and were a loyal client.. When we started with them, we were told our lawn was not in good shape due to the other companies we had used. In the beginning, Pest Bear was great. This past year, their employees have changed several times in less than two months, and the service went downhill. Our lawn started to develop large brown areas ( we were told due to fungus) and they were not able to clear it up for months. I need to point out that I showed them the brown area when it was less than 6 inches and by the time they treated it (2 months later) it had grown to over 6 feet in diameter. I contacted them many times and insisted the manager come out. I also told them that I was not paying their invoice until they corrected the problem with our lawn.We have just been turned over to collection. I refuse to pay a bill for services not received. I definitely recommend that you do NOT use this company.

They do show up on time and the guy on the truck is nice enough. The results though, are disappointing. I compare my lawn with my neighbor using a different service. We are catching up on the color but the weeds we have are the same as when we started. I see no benefit on that to date after about five months. I did not expect overnight results, but this seems a bit too long.

Not only they do a terrible job,(I have more weeds now that I ever had), they tried to ruin my credit score.I am sorry that I ever hired them.
