In a proactive way I requested a check up and precautionary installation of something that will extend the life of my A/C unit. Its only 2 months or so that I had a 6 month routine check up.I have been reasonable happy with Arctic, but why is it that Arctic did not suggest the improvement during the last routine call? Or if it was not necessary, why was it suggested now after I brought it up? I have no issue with Harry, the service person.

The Technician explained the procedure and answered all of my questions fully. He was very pleasant and professional. He also has been to my home for routine yearly maintenance before and was happy to have him work on our AC once again. Very satisfied.

What a lifesaver! Our air went out at 10pm on a holiday weekend (of course!). We were roasting iwithin the hour. We called the emergency line for Arctic Air, and they called us back immediately! Harry was a wonderful tech. Harry took his time inspecting my AC system, he really cleaned the outside system well, and he explained what he was doing. I asked Harry if he knew how to program my thermostat (which I found to be terribly difficult to do), he said he did, and Harry spent considerable time getting the thermostat programed the way I wanted it! Jose Cruz was our Arctic Air Technician for today and did an excellent job!!! It had been quite awhile since our A/C system was installed new, so it needed more than the average amount of maintenance to get it up to snuff. Jose was very straightforward and told us exactly what we needed to do to eliminate a mold issue inside the air handler. He didnt upsell us on anything that we didnt need. He was honest and up front about everything. I highly recommend him and hope he will be the tech to keep our A/C system up to factory specs going forward!!!

Called them on Sunday early evening for an issue with my new HVAC system that I could not resolve. Artic promptly called me back helped my troubleshoot and determined that I needed a real technician dispatched. So we scheduled one and he arrived luckily within two hours which was really appreciated in the summer heat. Resolved my issue within the hour and for us going again. Thanks Artic!!!

Jourdan was prompt and professional. Came back same day with part needed to get our air running after being without AC over the weekend. The company that installed our AC we called Friday evening and they weren’t able to help us. So, we called Arctic Air on Sunday afternoon and they arrived first thing Monday and saved the day! A/C broke again and needed a whole new set of coils for inside the house. The repairman explained everything, told me my options, found the refrigerant leak, and set up a full repair visit after the new coils part arrived. He also investigated my warranties. He was able to provide several maintenance packages and labor/parts warranty packages in addition to what I already had. I chose the one that fit my budget, and they even helped me with financing. Now I am covered for any small or large repairs within the first ten years of my HVAC (4-ton residential unit). I found this to be helpful for my peace-of-mind.

I typically don’t write reviews but I’m extremely disappointed with Artic Air. I called 3 times in the past three days and was told each time that a manager would return my call and address my concerns after a recent AC repair (I was looking for an explanation of my invoice). I have been very kind and patient, but am starting to feel as though I’m just being given the “run around.”I still have not received a call. As a matter of fact, the last person I spoke with said they would call me back “within the next 30 minutes” …that was 4 hours ago. I understand things come up, but as someone who has worked in customer service and sales, I know that some form of outreach should be given promptly (especially when a customer is unhappy).

Great service. Was here in less than 1/2 he from call. Pilot light out on water heater; he investigated for a cause, found none. She’d me how to relight. Warned me to watch for pilot going out again.

I had Arctic Air out to my home to complete my new home orientation. The technician was Ben Yahweh and he was extremely professional and courteous. This was my first experience with the company since purchasing my new home and I am very satisfied with the outcome.

He also provided information about the warranty programs that are available through their company. I highly recommend this air conditioning and heating company in the Bradenton/ Sarasota area.

My AC was leaking in my house, so I called arctic air at about 8pm and left a msg. (I didnt request emergency service). They called me back at 8am the next day, and Carolyn was very professional and very understanding. She said they could have a tech out to me at 10am. The tech, Jordan, was prompt and very courteous. I could tell he knew his stuff. He explained what was wrong and what he could do to fix it. (Clogged drain). He quickly took care of the problem and even took the time to talk about an annual maintenance program and what it covered. Here in Florida, you should get a maintenance program as much as ur AC runs. So I signed up for that too!! Im very impressed with Arctic Air.

Brian responded to my call for help. Polite and neat, went right in and found my problem. He repaired my problem and suggested resolutions. Our AC went down late at night. We called first thing in morning and they had a tech there in a few hours that had us up and running by end of day. Our unit is older and the motor was hard to find and the tech Brendan and Scott made sure to track one down that day and get it replaced. No pushing or trying to upswell anything and their prices were very fair especially at the quality of service they offer. Very satisfied first time customer and will use them again for any of our needs!

Our AC unit failed. Daniel Guanchez came over and helped us evaluate our options considering the space and wiring constraints. He told us about options to reduce the humidity by adjusting the motor speed. The installation team was efficient and courteous. Great Choice!

Drain issue which was resolved. Best thing in I now better understand how to prevent the issue in the future and how the cutoff valve mechanically works which requires one to completely dry out the pvc tube supporting the valve.

This company’s upsale items are so over priced it’s really gouging! A uV bulb that you can by for $70 on the internet and install yourself in ten minutes was billed at $287. A capacitor which is available for $20 was billed at $167. Will no longer renew my maintenance agreement with them. I don’t mind paying a fair price, but don’t like getting ripped off.

Had a problem with the thermostat because the drain was plugged. Just had service 3 months ago and now cost another $300. I feel that the charges I pay for “service agreement” are excessive.

Got same day service for an A/C issue. Matt Ferguson was the technician and he rocked. Took awhile to diagnose the ultimate issue, but after watching him crawl thru the attic, which had to be over 120 degrees, to try and locate the problem, I have huge respect for him as well as all the techs in the A/C business. Part was ordered and installed the next day. Matt was able to make sure we were not without A/C at any time during the entire process. Kudos to Matt and Arctic Air.

Artic Air came out on 4th July. My A/C stopped working and froze all the coils. The tech, Jarick, came out - defrosted my unit, diagnosed the issue, replaced faulty parts, recharged my coolant, and educated me on my system. The service was thorough and non-rushed. Very individual attention that met my needs and offered me several service levels and I got to choose one that fit my budget.

From the first moment, the service technician arrived until he left, he mentioned 23 times how old our HVAC unit was and how expensive it would be to repair the unit. The expensive part came through with them replacing a part that runs between $8.00 on the wholesale side to $29.00 dollars on the high retail side by charging for the same part $197.00. Then the estimate for additional work with a cost of parts being $700.00 on the retail side was quoted at $2400.00.In Florida be careful and know the cost of your parts.

We had a house built and this was the company that was used. The thermostat was intimidating because it was a touch screen with a lot of icons on it. I called the company to register my product and they sent Casey out to answer any questions I had on how to work the thermostat. He was very professional and helpful.
