We were assured on phone of getting a estimate before any work was done.The assurance came from dispatcher!After work was COMPLETED we received a call from our tenant stating that technician was finished and wanted a credit card for payment!This is when I asked what the charges were? Tenant advised the charges for 20 minutes of service was $385.00!I refused to pay and called next day early am left a message for the manager to call me, that didn’t happen.So, I called back seems the technician’ s story was different… But manager response was understandable after my conversation with the tech both were very unprofessional!!!Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had with any company!We own many properties!

As expected, I called roto rooter and problem solved! Professional and efficient from start to finish. Our tech, Andrew, did a superb job. I would call again and again for clog drains. They responded within 2 hours of my call and done within the hour! Thank you Andrew & Roto Rooter! And Barbra was super good to work with coordinating my service. Yes, $385 is a bit of money but Im glad to pay it!

Had a pretty gnarly clogged drain at my house. Called these guys in panic and got linked up with Brian, who was incredibly helpful. He was able to find the issue within seconds and fixed it within minutes. Great experience and will definitely use Brian again when im in a pinch.

Yesterday, our plumbing backed up through the powder room toilet when we ran the washing machine. What a disaster! We called our regular plumber, who said he really didn’t have time for this kind of project and he suggested we call Roto-rooter. They answered right away and scheduled an appointment for first thing this morning. This morning they called to confirm and then sent Andrew out here. We simply can’t say enough good things about him. He was polite, wore a mask, wore shoe coverings in the house and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem, gave us a couple of options for the possible approach to the issue and the price for each option. Andrew got straight to work, removing the toilet and snaking through the plumbing about 30 feet until he dislodged the clog. Then he thoroughly tested the lines and replaced the toilet. He was friendly and communicative about the process and left the space in clean condition. We could not have been more pleased. Two thumbs up for Roto-rooter and especially for Andrew!

He was friendly, professional, respectful, and entertaining.Brian arrived on time, explained what was likely required and quickly got to work looking for the (location still unknown) clean out.Brian patiently continued his search and started prepping while we tried to get hold of our landlord and our neighbor for answers on the clean out location. When we finally got the landlord on the phone, Brian graciously took my cellphone (that I shoved in his direction with limited notice), explained the situation and got buy-in to proceed as planned.Brian had the job done, the toilet reset (he even straightened it - its crookedness had been grinding my OCD gears since we moved in just quietly) and everything cleaned up as though he had never been there! I had a blocked sewer line. They cleaned the line and did a video assessment. Recommendation was to put in a 2 way clesn out. The project was a little more complicated than originally planned. They dealt with all the problrms. I am 100% satisfied with their work.

My handyman uncovered blockage in my main pipe under the house. I called Rotor Rooter, got a great, helpful person on the phone. She said hey, 1 of our guys is in your area tomorrow! She said he will estimate what needs to be done (free) and you can say yes or no.Jeremy was here promptly at the time slot they gave me. Quote was perfect, thumbs up to do it. He cleaned old roots out, flushed pipe & even checked my Washer pipes! Made sure all of those worked & he was done inside of an hour!They will be my 1st call from now on, plus, he gave me helpful tips on my (old) home, where pipe goes out & what to watch for. Awesome service!

Mark installed our water heater. He also installed the Halo water filter system. Work was completed on time and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Do not use for unclogging drains. Technician showed up at 7:30pm only after I called and called that no one showed up for the scheduled appointment.Once there, the tech tried to strong arm me into paying $375 to unclog a drain! And $670 for 2 drains! Unscrupulous. Had it done the following morning by a local company who charged $250 for both drains.

They came and unclogged our pipes same day. Always helpful in an emergency!

We had a kitchen sink backup after a party. Plus we live on a sensitive septic system. I was very happy with the prompt service. He cleaned out both the kitchen drains carefully. Then also roto rooted the drains into the septic. He was very informative at each step. He also took extra care checking out that all the drain systems were cleared and working before he left. Overall I was pleased with the service.

Kevin was great. He called to let me know and asked if it was okay to arrive early. Once here jumped right in and work very hard to pressure clean my landscape drainage system. He finished quickly and I was charged a fair price considering the amount of equipment they carry and his work ethic.My system was tested with the recent rains and it performed perfectly.

My buyers agent engaged Roto-Rooter to inspect the lateral sewer connection. The service technician, Alex, was excellent, very personable and professional, efficient, helping me to understand the process, the report, and the services available. Five stars on that count. The only complaint is that he was dispatched only 15 minutes before the scheduled time, with no communication from his home office to me or my agent, and so was an hour late.

Jeremy came to my home on July 29, arriving when he said he would and taking care of the problem promptly. He showed me what needed to be done and told me how he would correct it.I will call Jeremy again when needed and will recommend him to others.

First of all I feel like the people working in this company are not much experienced. If you are working on this field you have to know whats going on and dont need to ask unnecessary questions. I ended up denying the service and called next company who was able to fix the problem quickly enough.I cant say if the people are not trained or they are new in this field but yes for sure they are not well exposed in outside environment.

I spoke with Toni, she was very personable and got a tech out right away. He fixed the problem and it only cost me 75 bucks. The tech was friendly and did a great job explaining what the issue was. Would recommend.

Our Toilet and Tub both backed up with sewer water pouring all over the floor, down the heater vent and into the hallway. We called requesting an emergency service and Kevin arrived within 30 minutes. He was very friendly and professional. Assessed the situation, told us the cost before he fixed the problem, and then completed the task quickly. What impressed me the most is the attention to detail and making sure that everything was cleaned and in working order before he left. Kevin is an asset to your company! Work done was good but when tech gave me the bill it was $325. Routine snaking of main sewer line [45 min] which most companies in sonoma county charge around $150. Make sure you ask what the minimum charge will be! Once they come out they got you..

I called because my pilot light wouldnt stay on in my water heater. Looked up the symptoms online, seemed like a bad thermocouple, a piece worth $10-15 and a 15 minute replacement job. Regardless, Im not an expert, and didnt want to risk messing up an expensive piece of equipment in my house so I called these guys to take a look.The repairman they sent over first tried to turn on my pilot with the button, then realized he needed to use a lighter. Then he lit it without pressing the pilot button, which failed. Then he lit it but released the button immediately, which of course also failed. I needed to remind him that, per instructions on the side of the heater, he was supposed to hold the button down for a full 60 seconds or so. He finally lit the pilot and held the button down for all of ten seconds before letting it go (which also failed). Then he (without even LOOKING through the window of the heater) went back to his truck to crunch numbers, nodding when I told him what I thought the problem was, and came back with an estimate of $445. When I asked how he could possibly think a thermal couple replacement was worth $445 after looking up the piece at about $10 he muttered something about labor. Even with professional assistance the internet has told me that such a job should take 15 minutes for a professional and cost no more than $150 at most. I told him no thank you and he wrote that I refused work on a receipt.Good news, though. Emboldened by our ability to do five minutes of research, my friend and I went to Home Depot, bought a 12 dollar thermal couple, took 15 minutes replacing it, and now my hot shower works again.Thanks Roto-Rooter!

Service tech arrived on time, restored drain flow to laundry room in a very timely manner and was professional and personable.

The price was very expensive. The techician cleared the clogged pipe, but the toilet was still flushing slowly. So it was expensive, and our problem is not solved. I will have to call them back and ask them to come out and fix it. It is unlikely they come out and fix it at no charge. I plan to use someone else in the future. Rip-Off!!

Came home from a trip to Tahoe and sink in kitchen was not draining. I called Roto Rooter sometime after 5:00 PM (Sunday) and they had Kevin here around 8:30 AM Monday morning.
