Made an appointment and was assured they could install a hitch on our Honda Oddysey for our trailer. Went to a fair amount of work to take 2 vehicles and trailer for 9 am appointment. First guy had an attitude i felt, then 2nd guy looked at everything and said it would not work. I told him i ran it by their booking person to be sure it would and he said they get paid for booking, whether it works or not.
Its a trailer it did its job to perfection
These guys were awesome with my hitch install! Manager was great, though corporate should provide him more staff, as he was really busy but maintained total professionalism. I came here from San Rafael and am glad I did. Was worth the trip! Saved a lot of $$ from other company quotes for a hitch.
We got off to a rocky start, but these guys did the right thing and corrected the issues. While you have to stay on top of things with them, they work hard to work with you to get the job done, I would say that you should give them the chance to help you.
If I could leave less stars I would, had a horrible experience here, avoid trailer hitch installation at all cost, found out the day after they did not even hook up my wiring harness for lighting and never verified with me even though I asked the technician if I needed a document verifying the installation in order to pull a u-haul trailer I was picking up the next day. Tried to resolve the issue with both the manager Don and the U-haul customer service and they refused to acknowledge the mistake. Terrible customer service, they did not make my moving easier they made it hell trying to find someone to hook up my lighting after the fact.
They advertise that that install trailer hitch but when I called they said they do not do repairs on trailer hitch plugs.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I had to go back 3 times and it’s still not fixed. When I went back for a refund the manager would not refund me even though my tail lights still don’t work. The tech drilled holes in my sprinter van and did not prime them leaving a rust point. They took my old hitch off the mount and replaced it with some janky wire wrapped around the hitch. When I politely went back and brought this to the managers attention he got visibly annoyed and mad and would not refund my money. He expected me to go back for a 4th time and have his untrained tech try to fix it after he sent me on the road with tail lights that do not work. Go to a real mechanic to get tail lights installed.

U-Boxes arrived 10 days late from scheduled ship date. Not this sites fault but hasp was broken (under shrink wrap) Notified assistant manager on Thursday. Both in person and again later that day w/ a phone call (There is no manager presently). Following Monday visited to enter box again, hasp was still not repaired. So my belongings were left unlocked for 4 Days. Asked 877 number about credit for delayed delivery beyond guaranteed date, they told me to talk to local center. Local center said no I had to contact 800 number. So I contested the charges with my credit card company until U-Haul figures out who is responsible for processing the credit. Called 877 number to schedule access to U-Boxes after they finally arrived 9 days late. They supposedly messengered the local center. I also called the number I was given by 877 to be doubly my boxes would be ready for access the day after I called. Arrived to find that not the case. Local center did act quickly to give me access in about 20 minutes.My advice insist on U-Box new design WIDE brass hasp that wraps around the box door to the side of the box.Be prepared for delays in shipping dates and for access once delivered to new U-Haul center.
Went for a hitch receiver installation, longer than install time is forgivable, but to have an appointment time which I show up for early, only to be forgotten and job started 45 minutes late, is not. Not to mention the unprofessional conversation between two employees. Person that handled the money transaction is the only reason its not a 1 star rating.
I just had a horrible experience at this location. The manager Don was completely rude and argued with me in the store in front of other customers. He even told not to bother to come back.
Took a little time at the counter but after that, they hooked the motorcycle trailer up quickly. When I got back I dropped off on under 5 min and was on my way
Dont bother going here for propane. Every time I try there is some excuse why they cant do it. Today they were too busy packing boxes to bother helping a customer. Thats actually what they told me. Dont waste your time here.
Reserve online. Terms arent the same if you dont. Not unlimited local miles.
I wasted a couple of hours at camp ways and truck tops trying to just get answers. When I called these guys said to come by and they would look at my problem. I got the help I needed right away.
