BUYER BEWARE!!! Worst experience. I bought a sand filter for 600.00. Guy told me it was super easy to install. Directions were awful. Tried to call for help—they could not help me over the phone. We called out a pool service guy—turns out that they won’t even touch the above ground pool equipment. The service man was condescending and was more interested in talking to my husband (who was working from home and far less mechanically inclined than I am). Service guy did tell me that Leslie’s has one of the best return policies. When I called the store today, the clerk was indifferent and also condescending, telling me that I was overthinking my problem—the same problem that NO “expert” is willing to help me with. He then proceeded to tell me that they would not take a return because when I bought it, it was an item in high demand that they could have sold to someone else. It’s not about the money so much as it is about actually trying to be helpful. I wonder how hard these guys laugh after a big sale. This place has no concept of Customer Service. Once you hand over the money, you’re screwed and they will make you feel like a complete idiot. STAY AWAY!!!
Staff member was unmasked and made no effort to wear one, despite seeing my mask. Store had what I wanted, but I left without making my purchase to minimize contact.

Website say they have products in store so I showed up to store around 330they had sing saying they would return at 5 once they did return I asked about product and was told not in stock. He didn’t look in store or even look it up on computer didn’t seem to care told me to order it online
The prices of pool treatment has doubled, And it appears that Leslie’s is price gouging. I bought a small tub of chlorine tablets for $79, then was at Costco and they have a tub twice the size for $59. I feel like I was robbed, and will not be shopping at Leslie’s Pool supply any longer.
If you have a pool they have everything you need for it nice stuff quick and efficient very knowledgeable
I bought a $600 pool filter and every single time I had someone from Leslie’s come out and help me assemble it they wouldn’t even touch it. They will not give me a refund and I will not be giving Leslie’s another dime.
Awful experience. The guy working was so rude and not helpful in anyway. Asked his advice with a reply only for the most expensive product he had with out looking up from his phone. Such a bad vibe. We just got a pool set up and needed everything to sustain it. About to spend $800-$1200. Wanted a new filter pump/ vacuum the whole enchilada. He made me feel like he only works off Commission. I’ve always had wonderful experiences here before not sure who the new guy is with black long hair one side short on the other. Got to the Conner and just couldn’t do it. If you see him I would come back another day. I will be happy to drive 30 minutes to Rohnert park and spend that money to support a different location.

Chris “the store manager” insists that I don’t know how to use a smart phone to make a phone call.Sorry brah - 32 year old Asian can root/jail brake your phone for you but has absolutely no idea how to make a phone call.At least he said sir.....
Literally the worst retail experience I’ve had in a long time. Whoever this person was that was working could not have been less helpful if he tried. No joke he actually threw Jandy Valve at me and claimed how expensive it was then walked away while he surfed the internet. Will never ever ever go back

I dropped off my pool sweep for repair on or about 7-20-15 and was told it would be looked at by their technician on 7-22-15 and Id receive a call regarding the cost and schedule of repair. On 7-24-15 I had not heard from them so I stopped in to inquire on the progress. I was told by Carlos that a part needed to be ordered and it should arrive about 7-26-15 and I would receive a call upon their completion of the repair. No call came so again I called Carlos who said he expected the part to arrive 7-30-15 but did not have the ability to confirm it was enroute. I called 7-31-15 to find out if the part arrived and was told no. I asked if it would be in today and was told by Carlos, I dont know Im not able to track parts. Now after 10 days without the pool sweep the manager is telling me he has no way to know when the part will arrive. I asked if he can make a phone call to someone who can make such a prediction, he said no. I told him I would be contacting his boss and find someone who can get me an answer. Carlos said, Go ahead.Ive done a fair amount of business with this company over the last 15 years and have had mostly good service in the past. I think their prices are a bit high but I use them for convenience and in the past theyve been able to get repairs done and maintain good to high levels of customer service. This is the strangest experience Ive had with them and I feel like this system flaw needs to change because I cannot be the only person whos experienced this issue.I did call their corporate office and though it took 1 seven minute phone call and 1 fortyseven minute call Ive been promised the part for my pool sweep will be here...at the latest on the 4th of August. Wow!!! Just a 14 day wait!!! Not cool at all.But there is a bright side...one day later 8-01-15, Carlos apparently searched for and found the part in a nearby store and drove 60 miles (or more) round trip to get pick it up, install it and darned if they didnt do it all for FREE!!! So, my initial experience was not good at all, but after they realized this might be an opportunity for them to build a relationship and make an existing, long term customer happy they went the extra 60 miles OR MORE to do it. And for that I commend them and upgrade this experience to its OK and I appreciate their effort...AND I will give them my business in the future with the hope we return to the better experiences I once had.
