This is the worst service I ever have tried. They postponed my appointment for three months and when they finally came and did the repairs the washer was still not working after they left. When I called to have them come back they said it would be another 3 weeks.

Unfortunately they were not able to work on my washing machine. When the service tech went to look at it he said he couldn’t work on it because it was. Maytag Neptune? Wish they could have told me that in the beginning instead of waiting around and then having to PAY on top of that for work they could not perform !!

We purchased a maintenance warranty from SEARS for a new dishwasher 2 years ago. The dishwasher was in an empty apartment that hadnt been used in over a year. So we called SEARS to ask if the maintenance could be applied to another dishwasher next door. We were told yes, absolutely, so we schedule the maintenance. Unfortunately, their soonest appointment was 2-1/2 months out. After waiting 2-1/2 months for the service & waiting all afternoon for the man to come out, he told us he couldnt service our dishwasher because it wasnt the original unit. We were instructed to call SEARS once again to have the maintenance contract transferred to the other dishwasher. :-(

I love that they want a review from me. This is the 4th time theyve come out to fix my fridge which is still under warranty. This past week, after waiting 2 weeks for parts, the repairman came out and told my wife that freezer would be running in 3-4 hours...it actually was warmer than before he fixed it.When we called to let them know that the freezer is even worse condition, they said they would be back out in TWO WEEKS. We will be heading into over a month without this freezer working...its too bad theres not a no star ranking for this...

First off, like so many other big corps, they source out their call center to another country. When I called I got a guy with a very heavy Indian accent by the name of “Chris.” Had a very difficult time understanding him. The tech that showed up wasn’t much better, he was a Mexican/Latino/Hispanic/Farm worker (sorry don’t know what’s politically correct nowadays) and I could barely understand him as well. He had no idea how to wear a mask, it kept falling off his face and he was hesitant to put it back on when it did. I was very uncomfortable with this guy and literally just wanted him to leave. He had zero interest in maintainIng the 6’foot social distancing guidelines. This is after listening to the call center question me for five minutes about wether or not I’ve been exposed and how I’m supposed to be considerate of their technicians when they arrive and wear a mask and socially distance myself from them.My ice maker was taking a long time to make ice and the tech told me it was normal and asked if I had a check for $130. He did zero diagnostic work and was literally here for 10 minutes. Honestly, I’m kinda glad he did nothing because I really was uncomfortable with him from the minute he got out of the van.

Nothing was done to correct my leaking dishwasher. Because the leak occurs at the end of the wash cycle, the repairman was not willing to wait for the cycle to complete. I was not informed to run it prior to his arrival. So he stared at at it for 15 minutes and then left. Wasnt willing to take anything apart to inspect in more detail after I explained what was occurring. Waste of both of our time.

The warranty service person was GREAT! Sadly, I cant say the same about Sears!! It took me twice to get a warranty service appointment, then Sears cancelled it when I called in about an issue with my washing machine. The issue was solved over the phone. I even asked to make sure that my warranty service appointment was still in place, which I was told yes. About two hours later, I received an email stating that my LONG awaited appointment had been cancelled. Why did this matter? Because I had taken time off work to drove three hours to get to our vacation rental home for this appointment! I called Sears and spoke with a manager to only be brushed off regarding this appointment. I called Sears Sales department with the promise that this manager would get back to me after making some calls. No return call! Thankfully, the warranty service person went ahead an services my washer after he finished servicing my Sears dryer, Sears dishwasher and Sears refrigerator. Sears, you warranty service person is the only person that saved your butt!

Repairman failed to note that the new freezer drawer was not only broken (the front is not attached) but it is not the correct part for our freezer. Hopefully I was able to get the correct on online with live chat. I am waiting to see. ????

July 10: My husband accurately diagnosed the defective transformer for our A/C, but two days later, the tech did not have the part in his truck. Several years ago, my husband was hired to work at Sears in the A/C, but his certificate couldnt be found and too expensive to retest (retrain!), so he walked away. The tech did install the right transformer several days later to our satisfaction.July 26: The tech for my refrigerator made it work for me again.

After the third time trying to get someone here to repair my washer (due to twice being told that the technician got sick and couldnt come to the last time having the technician call to say he would be late and would come about 7 pm which was too late for us) to this time of him coming to replace a dispenser that does not completely empty out. The dispenser had been ordered by a technician that had come to service my dryer somewhere in March and he looked at the the washer dispenser and said that he would order a new one. Which I received.Apparently It doesnt show either that a tech had come out previously or that the order had been placed. Then how did I get the part?? After all this, the tech said all was good and left, I did a wash yesterday May 10(he was here on May 8) the dispenser still did not empty out plus I noticed that I still have the old dispenser and the tech took the new one with him . He never mentioned that he didnt replace it. I am very angry and at the brink of calling the Better Business Bureau to complain!!! My next service for this is on May 18. That is is if the tech doesnt get SICKI have paid for maintenance on all my Sears products since 1963 and have never had such poor service or unreliability in trying to get service!! You are not providing what the contract calls for!! I am about ready to cancel all my contracts!! I would expect with this complaint to you that someone in your company would call me. This unacceptable.

The technician was excellent (skilled and friendly) and arrived with the replacement part which probably saved a further 5 - 10 days wait time for our dishwasher to be fixed. Be aware that if you live outside a major metropolitan area (city) like we do, it can take Sears a week or more to arrange a service day, so be prepared to wait in these circumstances.

Two separate workmen came. The first one did the trouble shooting and helped order the computer part required and scheduled the next appointment. The second workmen installed the component. Both were very competent and professional and nice to talk to. Their system had email reminders which were useful.

The same gentleman who came this time for our air conditioner not working ( sorry I did not write it down ) is the same tech who came a couple years ago to check out our heating and cooling system. He is very quick and was careful to describe exactly what was happening both times as well as what to do to fix the situation. Compressor went out.Glad to see they still have long term employees!! Daniel (the technician) was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of tips regarding laundry. It made a ton of difference and I was pleased that our washer and dryer were not the fault. He checked out both machines carefully and did a few adjustments on the washer that solved the drum problem.

The repair man came first thing in the morning as scheduled and fixed the dryer in short order. It was great. He offered extra services, but did not push any. I did take him up on the dryer cleaning, but not the others. The dryer works great and we are very happy.

The techs have been very friendly and seem to be competent but we are still without the refrigerator. because it takes so long to schedule an appointment, we have been without an adequate refrigerator for several months. The tech was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I was pleased. The next day, however, the same thing that caused the dishwasher to stop happened again, so I had to make yet another appointment to have someone come out and look at the dishwasher. I have given the tech the top rating because I believe that HE BELIEVED that he had fixed the problem (as, I think, the tech before him believed he had fixed the problem too). The two techs were good, but the problem remains and we have spent about $200 so far. As Ive said, though, the techs were good and the dishwasher each time seemed to be working fine after the techs visits.

Service tech was very good, but it took three weeks to get him out to fix my machine. First appointment was one week out. Then that was rescheduled by Sears. Then the service tech called 3 hours late for the rescheduled appointment saying he wasnt going to make it. Third try worked fine. Tech did a good job of finding and fixing the problem.

Scheduled an appointment for repair of our refrigerator. Technician showed up two days later but then had to order parts. He said he would come back the day after the parts arrive. Then rescheduled appointment for the following week. Then rescheduled again. Now a technician shows up and does not know how to fix the fridge. So our appointment has been rescheduled for next week with a different technician. Two weeks now without a refrigerator. We will never buy from Sears again.

My recent ice maker repair by Sears was the worst customer service I have ever had. I bought the extended warranty so I wouldnt have to put up with this nonsense. When my ice maker quit working I called for service. The lady at the service center had me do a few things to test the ice maker and it still did not work. The repair man came out a couple of weeks later and looked at my refrigerator and said the ice maker didnt work. I thought everybody already knew that. He did not have a replacement on his truck so he ordered a new part and rescheduled for a couple of weeks later. On that day I waited from 8 to noon for the repair man and got a call at 1230 saying he was sick and had to reschedule for a couple of weeks later. The second repair men came on time and finally replaced the ice maker. My complaint isnt with the repair men. It is with the idiot that sent the first man without the means to repair what we all knew was broken.

As bad as it could be for a second re;pair attempt on a Sears product. My reward for being a loyal Sears customer, for years, is to be dumped on again because of Sears lack of satisfaction, . I would give 0 stars if there was a place for one. This was the second repair attempt. I waited impatiently for the first appointment; they knew my dishwasher was out. He did more the second time, but left without knowing if it was fixed. It was not. He started one wash cycle and left. After that cycle, a day later we attempted to wash a load. The new panel was/is completely dead. Sears phone technicians could not help since the board is dead. Now I have had to wait another week for the next repairman. This company, in my opinion, is uncaring. They have no provision to expedite a repair they failed to make on previous attempts. The Sears customer is punished because they cannot fix the problem when they come. They put the customer they failed at the back of the line, rather than at the front. They claim that it is impossible to move a new appointment to the front of their repair schedule. I spoke with two supervisors. One was Lloyd; his employee ID is 981254. The second was Shawn; employee ID 785055. Same company line, it is impossible to accommodate me by giving me an expedited repair date. They have not cared whether my appliance is fixed or not; they just hope it was. If they did, they would send a repairman to me sooner. We are approaching 2 months that we have waited for the repair.This will be the third attempt to fix the dishwasher. This experience has been disgusting. Sears claims they care, but by not expediting a previous repair simply means they do not care.

The service technican was polite and knowledgeable. He thought he came in to inspect a furnace. I have an air conditioner/heat pump. My unit was installed and my system was modified by Sears about 1 year ago.He performed all routine inspections, except for air flow. He did not have equipment to check fan load current or flow rates with the unit closed up. This was one of my concerns since it appears there is a high differently pressure across my air intake vents even with clean and simple fiberglass filters.

This was the first young man that got it write. Who went out of his way to help me. I have some handicapped issues.. He was so pleasant and let me know he was going to be late and when he maintained the dishwasher I saw him clean things the other guys never did. I wish all the Sears Techs were like this. Then he fixed the dish rack. (But this young man was great and and knew what he was doing. I hope I get him again for my other Sears appliances if needed. Sears You are Lucky to have him.) I will never set foot in a Sears store or buy a Sears product again as the result of their bait and switch tactics on an two year repair agreement i bought for my barbecue grill. Yes, I should have read all of the fine print on the agreement instead of stopping where it said they would repair the grill due to ordinary wear and tear. Father down in the fine print, was an exclusion for breakdowns caused by ruses So when the service man came to fix the grill, he had to send a photo to some central place which said that I was not covered. Yet rust is a typical issue for grills because they remain outslide and rust naturally even though I kept a cover on it. Anyway, I have learned my lesson and will never deal with Sears again.

I called on a Friday afternoon and said that my freezer and behind my deli tray had ice everywhere. The gentleman asked me to check some things and try a couple of things. By that evening the system had an error code so I went on line and did what they recommended. This ice and water would not work on top of the previous problems. I called to ask for a tech to come work on it since I spend a lot of money on extended warranties. They put me on the emergency list and I got an email that a tech would show up in 3 weeks or less. When I called back they said a tech would call as soon as possible, thatbthis was the quickest way to get service. The tech had not shown up do I called the night before to be certain that they have the parts necessary on the techs truck. When the tech arrived he was very rude and said that he had just used that part yesterday and he would have to order the parts and have them shipped to my house and reschedule me. The appointment was for 2 weeks from that date and the parts arrived the next day. The tech stated that he had containers to hold our food to keep them cool and then he would take 3-4 hours to defrost and repair our refrigerator, but that it would be best if we remove our food 2 days before and defrost the appliance. I told him I had no way of doing that and he stated that he saw that I had a refrigerator in my garage. I told him that it was full but that I would do the best that I could. I put 95% of the items from the fridge out in the garage fridge but had no room in the freezer. The tech arrived an hour and a half after the latest part of our appointment and again was rude and cursed all during the time he was there. He had my daughter get grocery bags from our garage and out all of our frozen food in them on the floor in my kitchen for 3 hours. He asked me if I had a blow dryer since his defroster tool was broken. He did repair our fridge and it is now working, but it was a horrible experience.

The Sears service rep came at this scheduled time, listened to my problems with my Bosch DW, said up front he was not sure he could fix it but would try. And try he did, with thoroughness, reason and stick-to-it-iveness! He stayed to test it through the cycle and said he had done his best. And it has worked without trouble since his service call.

The repair tech could not find the leaking problem even though there was evidence that it was leaking by the water stains on the side of the washer. He said he could not spend any more time looking for the leak. Within a minute of him leaving my husband and I found the leak ourselves. Had he stayed a few more minutes he could have found and fixed the problem for us. I feel our service call money should be refunded as this is unacceptable! I have used Sears for over 40 years and the service call was a waste of our time and money. If we do not receive a credit we will never use Sears A&E Repair service again.

The technician was very friendly, however my concern with your service is the timing of appointments. On both the initial and follow up appointments, my window was 1:00-5:00pm. As the window narrowed to a 2 hour window, it consistently went over that 5:00pm time. It is not reasonable to give a 4 hour window and then have to increase it by 50% by giving a new 2 hour window from 4:45-6:45pm. On the final visit, my technician called me at 5:05pm saying he was 20-30 minutes away, this was entirely unacceptable. Either the problem is you are not able to meet your 4 hour windows, in which you should give a larger window and us customers will just deal with it, or have a better system for grouping technician calls and a better system when repairs take longer than expected. Had I known my technician wouldnt show up until 5:30pm, I would not have taken a 1/2 day off of work.

We have had a maintenance agreement on all of our products that are all from Sears since 1970When we call Sears to come and check out the stove that was on a yearly maintenance agreement on September14th. the stove wasnt able to be repaired so Sear was suppose replace it. We have been waiting for the okay to get it replaced which is how the agreement is suppose to work .Its is now Nov..16 and we have had 4 tecs show up and look that the stove . I have lost count on how many people have given me the run around.Ive talked to on the phone about this.1 person tells me they are going to replace it then next they are not going to replace then they are now waiting again .

There was a one week delay, before I could receive service. On that day, it was canceled and re-scheduled for 8 days later. This was my dryer! I have a family. I went up the ladder, to the second layer of supervisor, before someone would approve overtime, so that someone would come to repair the dryer. This is not the standard Ive come to expect of Sears.

The technician was very efficient and professional. The job was completed in less than an hour. The job involved the correction of the condition that was causing water to accumulate at the bottom interior of a French door Samsung refrigerator.My only complaint has nothing to do with the technician. I believe that the $299.00 that was charged was beyond excessive for a job that took less than an hour. No parts had to be replaced. I had a 20% off coupon I printed from the Sears website, which would have been a more reasonable price, but unfortunately I forgot to present it.In any case in the future when I need appliance repair I will no longer call Sears, I will seek more reasonably priced appliance repair.

Repairman was good but relatively inexperienced. He had trouble getting phone support from his older fellow repairman, however he persevered and figured it out himself.

Second fix.. same problem 4 days later. as the repair person left, he muttered, this should do it.... if not... maybe it needs a new relay in the second panel.... so he COULD have repaired this too. instead, we must wait another month at least... 2 weeks to have them come and diagnose and 2 weeks at least for the part. HORRIBLE!!

My original appt was two weeks out from my call as I have a warranty plan and knew this to be so from the get go. The repairman was running late and he called me to tell me so-very nice young man. When he arrived I explained the situation as he looked at the fridge. He found the motor in my particular brand to be having issues, so he ordered that and a new thermostat and scheduled his return in two weeks. The parts came UPS the next week and he arrived mid morning of the week after.Initially I was concerned as the new motor seemed to be surging when first replaced and plugged in but later the tech told me once he tightened everything it was working properly. Now as I look back, I believe the thermostat was difficult to replace as well.After replacing all of the shelves and food I noticed the fridge to be warm but thought we might need to turn it up a little as I could not remember which number the temp control had been on before the repair. The next day I went to Costco and put $600.00 of groceries back into my 18.6cf all refrigerator. Unfortunately by Monday morning I realized the milk was warm and I should have waited to shop until I was sure the fridge was working correctly. I called the repair line to Sears and was told I could not get a tech back until I pulled the fridge out and vacuumed the back. This did not work and I called again. Next I was told I could not get back on the appt list until I went to the store and got dry ice and frozen bottles of water to put in the fridge to pull down the warm, and....I was to give that up to three days. Needless to say, my husband went thru the roof that night as we yelled over the grating sound of our refrigerator during dinner. . I then called back and told the phone tech all of the above plus the fact that my fridge had been cold and somewhat working before the new parts were installed and that I would like someone out right away to continue service. She was very apologetic, but informed me service was two weeks out-without parts. I told her very politely that this fridge has been a $2000.00 piece of work from the get go. That they have rebuilt it several times already and that I am ready for the $500.00 credit to buy new. She said that the tech would have to deem it unfix-able and that was still two weeks out. I asked if by chance there was some sort of cancellation/emergency list I could be put on- she did put me on hold and when she came back said she did her best. So here I am week one- $600.00 in groceries, six large ice chests and $100.00 in ice/blocks trying to decide what to do. Is it a faulty thermostat or should we bite the bullet and start shopping....The people I have spoken to and worked with have been very nice, but the warranty service is very poor. I feel I have an on going repair problem and have already waited my turn.update, week 9 and 4 visits later, still no fridge.
