This place is the best! Katharine and the staff go above and beyond and it’s always such a great experience from the massages to the friendly interaction. My nails turned out really great! Mimi did a wonderful job at my half moon gel mani 🙂 I brought my husband here and he LOVED it. They really make you feel special!

The most wonderful salon! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and they did such a great job on my nails. I came by as a walk in and they seated me right away- they even let me bring my pup and we’re so sweet to her too! The facilities were very clean and hand and foot massages were so relaxing I kept adding on more time. They treated me to complimentary water with my service, and as of all this wasn’t enough at the end of my pedicure I was FLOORED when they gave me sandals to wear out. Not the foam kind either- real sandals. The attention to detail at this salon was everything and it made our experience so wonderful. I never write reviews but I felt compelled to share because I’ve never walked away from a nail salon so impressed (not to mention pampered)! I definitely recommend and will be back soon.

I thought I left a review for Toe Heaven years ago, but it either got deleted or I must have tried to forget about how awful of an experience I had at this place. I used to be a regular at Toe Heaven when they were first getting started and before Katharine turned into a proper menace. They were always fake nice enough and affordable enough to keep going back until I decided to try getting my eyebrows waxed there. The wax was scorching and it all happened so fast so I couldnt register that my skin had just suffered from some very serious burns. Several layers of my skin had been pulled off, and there were thick scabs around my eyebrows for at least 3 weeks. I tried to call the spa and Katharine answered. Upon telling her my eyebrows had been severely burnt, she began screaming at me to call her lawyer, and hung up the phone. Again, I was a regular (mainly because it used to be even cheaper than it is now), and maybe if Katharine wasnt entirely unprofessional she couldve made things right. Instead, she chose to attack and hang up on me and my charred face. Ill try to dig up and add the photos since I made sure to keep track of the healing process.**Sidenote: If youre looking for a great place to get your nails done, Id really recommend Pinkies just a few stores away on Main or Venice Soleil on Washington. Pinkies does incredible and professional work for a good price, and Venice Soleil is a little more expensive but the experience is the best in town and you wont leave with bloody eyebrows!

Came here for years and seen them do this to others. Never thought they’d be this rude to me. Despite making an appointment, it took them 40 min to fill a tub w water after they seated us. When we asked nicely, the manager Katherine became extremely rude. Finally 55 min after my appointment started I had the first person work on my nails. They could have apologized and been graceful w it. I honestly think the manager Katherine could be emotionally unstable. She became irate to the point that other customers apologized to me afterward. Sadly it will be the last visit for me there. I’ll go down the street to more professional main attraction.

This was the best mani pedi experience i’ve ever had. super friendly ladies, and the best massages!!! they offer shoulder massage at no extra and really go above and beyond. they even shared a new delicious boba tea with me- so good! highly recommend.

They cut my nails so short that we can see the skin supposed to be under my nails... I also asked for a round shape but ended up with a square (with a line not even straight).I would have done a better job myself.Finally they tried to made me pay for a foot massage that I didn’t request (but I was able to not pay for it).

Been here for years, great place, great staff! My toes and nails always look exceptional and last a long time. The massage chairs are great but the massages they offer by hand while getting your toes done are even better! Prices are really great and several of their technicians use coconut oil when massaging legs and feet which I LOVE, much better for your skin! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Catherine, Hang, Mindy, and, theother manicurists are expertsat their work which they doquickly and effectively.Toe Heaven is a friendly placewith many regular customers.The staff is hospitable...Your comfort is important to them.There are chairs that massageyour back. There is always a member of the staff nearby ready to massage your neck, shoulders,or, feet.Catherine also does waxing.There are other services as well.

Love Toe Heaven! Have probably had 30 pedicures there, and theyre always great. Add the shoulder massage too!

Overall I love this place and the location is great. The owner does the best acrylics. Last time I got the dip powder which was gorgeous, but it only lasted 2 weeks before two nails broke. That could have been on my end, because I was a little rough with them. When I went to get them filled, they open at 10 on the weekends and they weren’t there until 10:20am. There was a group of like 4 of us waiting outside. Once I got in, they said there wouldn’t be anyone until 10:35am do to the dip powder acrylics. Kinda bummed, and disappointed. I get that things happen, but at the end of the day it wasn’t professional.

Me and my fiance were on vacation and deicded to hit this place because we were not sure what place was good and my fiance said well since theres people here why not give it a shot. Well we went in a right off the jump they had attitudes and were constantly asking her what she wanted she barely got to decide what she wanted because they kept pressuring her. So she went with french nails, it took them 2 in a half hour or so just to finish honestly we didnt mind the wait if they were gonna do a good job. Well when they were done Im gonna be honest I feel like I could have done a better job and I dont know how to do nails at all... I wish I had a picture but Im back in Anchorage now writing this review. Keep in mind my finance does not get her nails done on a regular basis either, from the period of time since weve been together Ive maybe seen her get her nails done at least 10 times and weve been together for 2 years now. So she doesnt have high standards at all when it comes to nails. Regardless that, if thats not enough for you ladies we end up going to a different nail salon the next day. They were shocked and laughed at her nails thinking that she did them herself, and asked her where and, who did your nails we simply explained to them that she just got them done at this location and paid a lot of money for them, they felt so bad that they completely redid her nails and gave us a discount for the final cost. Honestly that was our bad and should have looked at the review first before going in, but that was a lesson learned for us to always check before going in! But I hope I saved some of you ladies a lot of trouble and dissatisfaction!

My manicure doesnt look nice at all. The layers of nail polish are not uniformly spread and the contours of my nails are not neat . I could have done better myself. I would not go back there.

My fingernails ended up shaped a little funny, but they did a great job buffing them and painting my toes.

I never leave bad reviews but I am doing one today. My manicure was nice but they were so disorganized and it took forever. There was 15 minutes during my mani pedi where no one took care of me and at the end I had no time left to do my shoulder massage which was frustrating. My friends manipedi were really bad and they didnt want to refund them (even of they agreed) or do a discounts which was disappointing. They prefer to loose their clientele instead apparently. Do not go to this salon.

Sloppy and slow.Got shellac, but upon later inspection they didnt even remove all of the nail polish I was wearing (you can still see pink in the cuticles/sides of nails), and didnt cover the whole nail with shellac. On top of that, they filed down my long nails way too much. They seem to have some kind of (inefficient) system where each person does one job...I went with 2 friends who also got shellac, but because she did me last, I was done 20+ minutes later than both of them. One girl ended up not even getting her other service because it took so long.They were very nice people, and I think they might do a better job if you dont tell them youre from out of town...just a theory. However, in my experience, it could have been MUCH better.

Bad customer service. Bad attitudes and the slim short lady is rude as ever and has no idea how to run a business. They rush their customers and the work that they do. They pointed at me laughed and spoke about me in their language across the salon in front of other customers. They are prejudice and have HORRIBLE customer service!!!! Never will I step foot in there again!

HEALTH VIOLATION!!! BEWARE! I got a mani/pedi here on July 21, 2012 and now have a bacterial infection on my big toe below the nail and have to take a 2 week dose of anti-bacterial antibiotics. My doctor said she has seen this before from dirty salons.I live in San Francisco and was only in Santa Monica for the weekend and needed my nails done, but it did seem entirely too busy and I noticed the workers did not properly clean the utensils or the foot bath tubs because they were trying to get people in and out so quickly to make more money.And, to add insult to injury (literally) the mani/pedi wasnt that great.I have never had this happen before! Go somewhere less busy and more clean!!
