Delicious fried chicken sandwich, and for being beach front it was priced right at ~$17 after tax, and included a side salad, onion rings and pickles on the side. Meat was all white and nice and crispy, slaw was tangy and they put a ton on. Sandwich also had pickles to give it a nice crispy. Def hits the spot if you are craving some fried chicken at the beach!

So I stopped by here yesterday because I was in town from out of state I had nothing else to do and I decided to spend some time beach side, I got hungry came here and ordered their cheeseburger paid 21.50 total burger was dry a.f. bread, dry, cheese weird looking. I definitely should have taken a photo for good laughs, regardless I ate most of it, I did not finish it it was too dry for me. That was the price just for the hamburger and a drink. Steep. I could have paid half that at Burger King gotten a juicy burger and a bigger drink and I dont know whats going on with the straws here but its off-putting my straw shouldnt dissolve in my cup as Im using it. Weird paper straws.

It was ether I was really hungry or they really have a fantastic hot dog! Add onions and peppers and thank me forever...We also rented skates, which was great. Not a big selection of that but they do have a lot of bikes in all shapes and sizes. Prices are fair.Only challenge with this place is that it is now in the center of construction so less welcoming.

Lovely beach side restaurant and cafe. Relatively quick service considering its all freshly made. Wonderful fresh ingredients and good portion sizes. This is one of the best cafes on the beach. Be aware that theres always a line

I reluctantly give this place 3 stars. Its not that I dont like it, I do, its that they could be SO much better. They have a monopoly on beach food, do a reasonable job, but I want more! Take orders more quickly. Dont have the cashier do all the drinks. Keep the doggie water bowl! Where did it go? Just not there. Oh, dont let people who dont order food sit at the beachfront tables. Drinks dont count! Want to improve the bottom line? Require food or a minimum order. People come off the boardwalk and sit without ordering ANYTHING! Hey, what abt adding alcohol? Not allowed? If so, we can let that slide.

Nice bar by the beach, literally on the beach! They offer good breakfast and brunch options, good coffees and amazing music! Awesome spot for people watching too! A win-win

There were two lines for ordering, After waiting in line behind 3 people, the guy at the at the order window left me standing there without warning or telling me he was closing or leaving his post. After asking around i was ignored, never will i return for this horrible service, the food looks crappy and overpriced too

I have been renting from Perrys for many years now, mainly for beach cruisers but often eat there as well after bike ride or blade. It has always been a great experience. Staff is always friendly. One of the superstars of the team is Martin, an extremely knowledgeable person, and is very efficient and honest. He did a great job with my rollerblades, Perrys is lucky to have him on staff, and he is like your Jordan/Gretzky go to guy when needing any kind of insight on rentals and repairs. Bravo to Martin and the team at Perrys. I highly recommend them.

Very nice food. Kids portion was plenty enough for 2 younger kids. Right next to playground, by the beach.

Good food -- I like the California bowl with the mahi-mahi and the veggie burger. A little pricey but you cant beat the convenience. My only gripe is the nauseating, schmaltzy holiday music they play around Christmas at full blast. Makes you want to escape back to the serenity of the waves ASAP.

Decent food. But over eighty bucks for four entrees, to beers and a fresh coconut beheaded for its water? A bit much. But its bike rentals are convenient and fun, and the people watching is great.

My favourite spot! The music is old school and great. The seating is right on the sand so you can sunbathe and dig your toes in. Food is a bit pricey but when you can enjoy it right on the beach, its worth it.

I saw the workers talking badly about customers when they werent looking. They are also very overpriced - $5 for a hot chocolate. Only thing good is their location.

Looks touristy, but the tacos and guacamole were fresh and tasty. I was very pleasantly surprised!

We are regulars at Perrys - both the cafe and the bike rentals. The food is always beach-excellent and the service always warm. Perrys made the transition years ago from basic beach shack grub to a much broader menu that is great. Try the fish tacos and the burgers are also really tasty. Then theres the setting. Right in the sand so kick off your shoes. They also have some seats in the shade nearer the pick-up window. My daughter and I were just there yesterday. The bike rental team are also cool. Make sure you say hello to Frankie.

Im sure that the cafe must be an amazing experience to live through, but the rentals were too expensive for us. I would recommend renting bikes or scooters from elsewhere.

Love it. The veggie burger, queued Ulla, and omelet tested are all amazing. Everything we have had is super fresh. My husband also loves the veggie burrito.

Stephen saved the day! The Perrys that was supposed to honor our Go Los Angeles Card was closed for a private event, and Stephen went above and beyond to coordinate with the other location to accept our pass when we thought we were out of luck.

The bikes available to us were functional but of below average quality. We ordered some food at the cafe. The pepperoni pizza was excellent but took 30 mins to make. Staff were friendly.

Great location(s), selection, and seating. You can get great, real food so close to the ocean. Unfortunately, things can be a little expensive but you just might get your moneys worth in quantity if you order the right item(s).

Food is okay. Probably not the healthiest. It is very nice to hang out at the cafe with your laptop and work while you watch the water, sand and people. Wifi is iffy. Just being close to the beach with a chair and umbrella is pretty special.

Rollerblade rentals were only $7 per hour. Such a bargain. My GF and I went blading for 1.5 hrs and they charged us $22. Pretty reasonable.

Perrys Cafe in Santa Monica is not your typical snack shack. This is the perfect place to pick-up lunch before heading out to your spot for the day on the Santa Monica Beach! Everything is packed well and there is a side area for utensils, napkins and condiments.Youll experience quick, but kind service when you place your order and the food is delicious.Great value for a meal at the beach! If you get there in time, you can even order breakfast.Favorite menu items include the Mahi Mahi bowl with black means and guacamole and the sweet potato fries. Many GF and Vegetarian options.

Food is okay. Portions are generous. Charged me for a water cup. Very over priced, but if youre on the beach in Ocean Park, its the only option.

Good place to rent surfboard and wetsuit for a reasonable price, weve also tried a smoothie and a juice, and both were nice.

The wait is always long, but its worth it! if your walking on the beach early in the morning get a Big Wave breakfast burrito. youll be riding the perry wave all day long!

Fantastic People watching spot next to boardwalk in the sand, very chill In the sun was perfect:) I laid back in their beach chair with some very tasty cheese pizza then ice cream. Here @ Perrys food menu is huge, tasty salads, expresso coffee, etc. Best of all is the MUSIC - Awesom classic soal, & oldies!!!

I didn’t come here with a high expectation but still thought it would be descent. In less than an hour I felt sick. The guy ahead of me returned his food saying it was inedible. Good luck.

A little quaint café that has rustic charm. You can rent bikes and rollerblades from her. Service is poor and there are very few employees that can help you through the renting process.

Great location but prices were garbage. They are the only place for food anywhere in the area so they can charge whatever they want...and do. $4 for a can of pop. Will bring my own next time.

Food is expensive and so-so. Its best to eat elsewhere if Im being completely frank, but if youre at the beach this is pretty much youre only stop unless youre by the Venice boardwalk or the Santa Monica pier.
