We got there for our 10am appointment at 9:55am. The store was closed. By the time 10:15am rolled around, it was still closed, so we left. Why schedule us for an appointment and not show up? Could they have at least called to tell us they wouldnt be there?

Christina is absolutely one of the best hair stylist I know!!! She’s fast but is very artistic in her styling. Did I say she also is beautiful!!??? I just recently moved to Santa Fe and had been to several places before I stumbled in and the owner Christine couldn’t have been more friendly and patient with me as I was already irritable due to the mishaps at other shops. Me and a fellow soldier went to get a cut today but we are African American and one of the ladies told the soldier Ive never cut African hair before. The lady who cut my hair didnt comb it out before she started and have patches in the back of my head.

After reading all the great reviews and since my regular hairdresser was unavailable, I decided to give this place a shot since I was way overdue for a trim. I explained to the barber that I wanted a 2 at the bottom and faded “straight” up on the sides. I specifically asked her not to follow my scalp as I do not Ike it to be rounded where the sides meet the top. Basically, I want it to look somewhat like a long flat top. Unfortunately, I was not too impressed with the way my hair came out after I was finally turned around so I could see it in the mirror. I asked her to fix a few spots which she did as best as she could and I said, “it looks good” just so I could hurry up and get out of there before she cut it any shorter. After paying $25 (plus $5.00 tip for being a great conversationalist). I hurried home so I could fix the sides and top with my own clippers... Next time I’ll look shaggy another week and just wait for my regular barber who does a superior job at a third of the price!You be the judge, do the two sides look straight to you?!

My favorite barber experience since leaving my all-time favorite barber in Montana six years ago. When I asked the shop owner if she could do the cut I wanted, she laughed, saying that cut is the first cut aspiring barbers learn. So why has it been impossible for me to get that cut for the past six years? I dont know. I think rigid ideas about male-female haircuts get in the way, and whatever other prefab ideas a hair cutter might foist on a customer. Yesterday I got the cut I wanted because Christine (shop owner) listened, and because she wants to give her customers what they want-- not some overlaid fashion idea. She was fast, good, there were no strong product smells nor loud bad music.Absolutely perfect for me. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend usually goes to a barber in Rio Rancho but since he moved to Santa Fe I told him we need to find a new barber. I told him let’s go to Dino’s since I’ve heard great things from word of mouth from others as well as all the positive feed off Facebook. We didn’t have an appointment but the guy barber was still able to get us in. He took his time on my boyfriend’s hair and was very nice and friendly. My boyfriend is extremely picky about his hair and was going to continue to commute to Rio Rancho but after today with his experience and the outcome of his hair he said he found his new barber in town. I’m not from Santa Fe and I’m like a lot of people and I worry that I’ll get a bad cut when I travel but I just got my haircut from Kitty. She says she’s only in once in a while but I can’t complement her enough! Perfect fade! Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The shop was a little hard to find but well worth it once I found it. Highly recommend.

I usually get my haircuts while travelling out of town on business but decided to take a chance on a local barbershop and was very impressed. Johnny takes his time cutting hair and my haircut was well worth the investment of time. He also is an amazing conversationalist and overall great guy. Well, I have a rather substantial beard and its hard to find someone to keep it looking its best. And I discovered Dinos!! Ive had really, really bad and expensive haircuts in Santa Fe since Ive moved here and was about to try this place until I saw $40 for a haircut, shave and beard trim. The photos from customers saying you guys arent listening to how short people want their sides on the fade doesnt help much either. No haircut in Santa Fe is worth $40. I was getting top notch cuts in Las Cruces for $12. Will never come here. Youd get more business if you didnt charge the same price I could buy two full tanks of gas for.

The only place where you can get a guaranteed licensed professional barber and not worry about being in the hands of students or fresh off the school floor cuts like the rest of the shops in town. Where your privacy is taken seriously and not recorded for others pleasure to watch and hear. Where advertisement isnt bought its earned through word of mouth. Atmosphere like barbershops used to be where everyone loved what they did and kept greed out the door. Where you can hang up your hat and feel at home and part of the family. The ONLY place I would EVER trust taking my kids to. Without Dinos I would be stuck going to Albuquerque for cuts because everywhere else here is horribly corporated with lousy service and horrible cuts. Definitely Santa Fes saving grace for haircuts
