Jorge did a great job on a couple of recent visits repairing plumbing issues in our home. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and respectful. We also worked with Terrence last year to have a mini-split heat pump system installed; the team at Roadrunner did a great job with this large project. They were responsive in addressing our needs and concerns, and we have been very pleased with the system so far.

Wonderful and efficient service. Plumber Jorge Castillo was thorough, explained what was happening with our clogged pipe, and was able to efficiently solve the issue. He also recommended a product to use to prevent the same problem in the future! He also found some other non urgent issues with the pipes leading to the street, and let us know the recommendation, showed me the issue via camera, and also informally gave us an idea of the cost of a future repair. I will definitely use Road Runner again, and have frequently used them in the past!

I made an appointment to check my guest bathroom for peculiar odor. Roadrunner actually moved my appointment up to an earlier slot which i very much appreciated. Jorge was on time, listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He was also very personable. Luckily, there was no cause for repair. However, Jorge fixed a leak in my outside garden faucet by taking a minute to change gasket and tighten bolt. It is refreshing to know that Roadrunner provides professional and on time service. I would definitely recommend them.

We thought we would have Roadrunner Air perform an AC tuneup since they installed our mini split unit last year. We went online in January 2021 to have them come to our home on March 29, 2021. There was absolutely no calls to confirm our appointment. We called them to find out if they planned to come to our home. They said they tried calling but we never received a call or voice-mail. They rescheduled the appointment for April 1st, 2021. AGAIN a no show and no call. We decided on another company because of Roadrunners lousy service.

I work for a couple that have used this service for years though I am only familiar with the last two years as Property Manager. My experience is that the service is going down since I have come on site. I have been vocal about their service in writing and on the phone. My issue is they are not thorough with the 5 Coolers we have on property or with the service details performed... In fact I would appreciate any heads up with issues around the coolers since we have the opening and closing contract with them... but they are unable to offer this. I get no response, and it appears they could care less about this long standing account.

A couple weeks ago I called hoping to find some help for an issue in my mothers house. Terrence happened to answer and I ended up told off by him and he eventually I hung up on me. I tried asking him to transfer me to someone else but it was more of a control issues to him. I called back to speak to the owner and while trying to explain the situation to the girl who answered the phone Terrence grabbed the phone and told me of again and said if I called back he was going to call the police which he did without me calling back. I never got a call back from the owner but I hope he heard the calls (only 2calls) l being that theres a recording saying all calls are recorded. Personal issue shouldnt be taken care of in the workplace even if the person is vice presidentof the company. Just goes to show what kind of business is run there. I have filed a report on the company with the better business bureau and the attorney general so lets see if the professional behavior in that company is turned up a bit.

Employees/workers are respectful and polite. They go about their work promptly, attending to the job. When working as a team of two, their cooperation and team effort is very impressive. I have never heard any joking around or foul language from the different workers who service my account. I have never had to complain about the work performed by Roadrunner employees.

Our boiler, which supplies domestic hot water and radiant heat, was off. In the cold weather, we were anxious to have it repaired quickly. Jorge came and dealt with it professionally and safely (he arrived with mask on and kept it on the entire time). Jorge is the professional from Roadrunner Air Conditioning that has been wonderful every time hes come to repair something in our home. It has been 3 visits this summer for our swamp cooler and every time hes been exceptionally timely, professional, and completed the work seamlessly. The price has been very reasonable and were so happy with their services!

Excellent, beautifully neat work installing 5 indoor mini-split units and 2 impressive outdoor heat pumps on the ground to run them. We choose Roadrunner after interviewing other contractors because Terrance Alm took care to size the units properly, instead of just glancing around the house and immediately tossing out numbers. Terrance also had a fine master electrician to recommend to upgrade our service, which made everything so much easier for us. By this point we had decided to abandon gas heat altogether. We had three rooms we couldnt heat or air condition. We had been advised by our remodeling contractor to get mini-splits. Our natural gas furnace and a/c, due for replacement, cant work any better owing to poorly functioning ducts embedded in the slab foundation of our house--to improve heating wed need to have the floor ripped up. The mini-splits are very quiet, cleaner than natural gas with their carbon filtration, and we can tailor the temperature for each room. We worried that the rooms without units would be uncomfortable (bathrooms, hallway, even a sun parlor) but this has not been a problem at all. The mini-splits put out more heat in our 2,400 square foot house than our loud, oversized gas furnace ever did. Total price about $27,000, but when you see what goes into the installation, and how substantial the equipment is, the price seems very reasonable. Plus, our alternative was to buy a new furnace and a new rooftop a/c, and then wed still have three rooms with nearly nonexistent climate control. We look forward to having all the old ducts and furnace air intake grills covered in plaster and finished, and placing our furniture anywhere we like without dodging duct grills. We are also on our way to adding solar panels in the future.

Jorge did an excellent job in assessing the sulfur gas smell In our casita. Using an electronic sniffer he was able to tell that the problem was not from the water or hot water heater but rather from the dried out P-trap drains. So, no need for repairs. We just need to make sure that we run water into the drains every few weeks.He also noted that we do not have sediment traps on our boiler or hot water heater.Jorge was punctual, extremely polite and knowledgeable. Absolutely RUDE vice president. I called to get a pressure test and a state inspection done and was told permits needed to be pulled to do a different test. I dont even know what he called it because when I asked for clarification he just said I can tell you right now thats the process, you can call another company if you want. Okay, if thats the process then fine. I was simply asking for clarification about the process as I like to make informed decisions. I never said ANYTHING about going to another company, but I am looking now. Definitely will NOT EVER be recommending this company until they learn to not chase potential customers away.

Had several rather subtle (for me) problems. Scheduled w/Roadrunner. Cornelio C. arrived at agreed time, diagnosed and repaired problems in a timely way, and cleaned up work areas following repairs. And very personable and polite throughout. This is not my first experience w/Roadrunner and they have been consistent over several years now.

I would like to thank and praise CARLOS our plumber who came to fix a gas leak. Carlos is amazing and efficient in his job! We had no gas for three weeks because we had to wait for inspectors to come out, Carlos would come often and check everything was fine! I was told not to hire road runner because they are not reliable but I can absolutely say that’s not true and they are great. I would really recommend Carlos he’s a great plumber!

Weve had them out several times, and they always go the extra distance to get to the bottom of and fix our problems. Steve and Jesse just came out to deal with a thermostat issue. They were excellent. They found the problem quickly, offered me some advice about some plumbing concerns, and remained cheerful and professional throughout. Weve been very happy with Roadrunner.And today, May 7th, we just had another Roadrunner employee, Jorge, deal with several plumbing concerns. He was the picture of professionalism and competence. He cleaned drains, decalcified an on-demand water heater, and installed an outdoor faucet, all in reasonable time. Also, he was very respectful of our concerns due to the Covid outbreak, and he wore a mask and kept reasonable distance. Couldnt be happier with the work Jorge did.

We called Roadrunner on short notice to finish a job that another plumber was unable to finish. John V. was able to fit us into his schedule right away and not only get us the gas inspection we needed but fixed a leaking gas pipe joint in the process. The work required several trips as it was dependent on the Building Inspectors schedule, which is never set in stone. John was super friendly throughout and obviously knowledgeable about his profession. I have had the joy of using Road Runner twice in the past month - one to install an entire new Trane furnace and condenser and the other to completely clean and sanitize the air ducts and lint trap. Yes, my bank account is licking its wounds, but, as Ive always been taught - you get what you pay for and I am fully confident that Ive just paid one of the best vendors in Santa Fe. Everyone I interacted with from Janelle in the office, Terrence in Sales/Project Management, and the employees on the crew have been fantastic, professional, timely, and communicative. Of note, today Daniel and Jerome showed to do the air ducts and Jerome is a trainee - as I went about my business I heard Daniel training and explaining everything to Jerome step by step. I called Roadrunner on a Friday after having the Gas Company red tag my hot water heater because of a carbon monoxide issue. To make matters worse it was during the holidays and I had house guests so not having hot water over the weekend could have been a huge bummer. I was so relieved when I called and they told me they could send someone to my home within just a couple hours.They arrived exactly when they said they would, explained what needed to be done and quickly and efficiently resolved the problem. They even checked the other gas appliances to ensure our safety! I highly recommend Roadrunner, and appreciated their expeditious service in resolving my problem. Job well done.

I cannot recommend Roadrunner Mechanical.In January I noticed a gas odor in my garage by the mechanical closet and called New Mexico Gas Company who came out and pulled the meter. I then called Roadrunner Mechanical, who were the last people to work on my boiler. RRM came out and had me sign a contract and took my credit card. They charged me $3,000. After finding 3 leaks at the boiler they had reinstalled earlier, they said I needed to do a house gas repipe. They said I had a gas leak somewhere in my walls that could cause the house to explode and they would “hate for anything to happen to me.” The charges for a gas repipe would be an additional $10,000 and they said they were giving me a very good price. I called American Leak Detection in Albuquerque who found a small leak. RRM Owner, Derek Cunningham, was not happy with the news. He refused to come out and fix the leak and get my gas back on. He said he was quitting the job because ALD had compromised his work! I then hired ALD who did an excellent job of fixing the leak and hooking up my gas at a very reasonable price. NM Gas was terrific and came out late that same evening and reinstalled my meter.Roadrunner Mechanical is expensive, incompetent and lacks good business values. I spent a month without heat from January 9, 2020 on during single digit temperature days. I believe RRM was trying to wear me down and get me to do unnecessary work. Fortunately, I am a tough 72 year old widow who was cold, without hot water and a working stove for a month. I am very glad I didnt let Derek Cunningham bully me into paying an unnecessary $10,000.Note: I got RRM to refund $1,000 because there were major leaks at the boiler they had reinstalled and RRM was responsible for that work. My electric bill for electric space heaters for a month was $700. Weeks into the job, RRM had not pulled a required permit. The owner claimed he was connected at the permit department.

I want to thank and recommend Roadrunner Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration for an awesome service. Chuck, the technician, arrived on time, diagnosed, repaired my AC unit and explained thoroughly what the problem was. Additionally, I requested an estimate for cleaning the air conditioning ducts and some plumbing repairs I needed in my house. He went into the crawling space of the house (I wouldn’t do it, claustrophobia issue :)) and determined, in detail, the job needed to be done. Great job! Chuck and thanks Roadrunner.

When I called RoadRunner to see when they could come out to investigate heater issue, Service Technician Adrian was at my house the next day. Having an older heater they all have issues, Adrians experience, his Profesionalism, knowledge on ALL types of heating units was instrumental in getting my heater back up n running in minimal time waiting on new parts to arrive.Adrian didnt leave me hanging either, Adrian had set me up w/2 electric quartz heaters for my use till new parts came in and he COMPLETED my Frasier Johnson Heater repair.
