I had a manicure with gel polish. I went on August 4 and they were chipping and coming off on August 9. I went in for them to fix it and this is what I came out with. They look worse than the first time. I do not recommend this salon and will not be returning.

As with any nail salons no matter who is running the place- it is hit or miss... Ive had some great nail techs and Ive had some so so nail techs. With that being said. The atmosphere is great. The people are friendly, courteous, and very fair when it comes to quality of service. I recently came in for tie dye nails and they NAILED it! My newest set was a clear pink gel manicure and the results where not what I was expecting. After learning that it is better to have an over lay of gel or sns dip prior to the polish so it will not lift, I did myself a favor and went back had it corrected and paid for the service because I wanted it right lets just say Im very very pleased. Nate has always been nice.. and I will continue to go there when I want.. 4Stars

New to Sanford. I called wanting to make an appointment to ensure I got in and get to know my new nail place. Nope. Since I couldnt name a nail tech - they refused to take my appointment - and no they didnt offer a name. Oh well - lots of other nail places to try.

So let me start by saying that I used to come here all the time prior to Covid. Now that I feel safer to go out again, I decided to get my nails done. I saw some terrible recent reviews on Yelp, but I figured that every experience was different & since I could not find any other nail places here in Sanford I decided to go here! Not to mention, as I said previously, this was my go to nail place years prior. When I came in today, I did not get service until an hour after my schedule time! Now, I’m not one to complain about times, places are busy & especially on the weekends. My main complaint are my nails itself. I showed a picture of what I wanted (marble nails) to the tech and I had asked him if this was something he could do. I also said I had other nail options in mind if he couldn’t do that. He told me that it was no problem, in fact one of the receptionists hyped him up to be really good at marble. However, this was NOT what I had in mind & when I had mentioned something about that he told me that the picture I showed him was “inaccurate” and how it’s “harder to do marble with gel nail polish & that picture was done with dip powder.” Instead, my nails look like someone spilled paint or maybe even drew squiggly lines on the nails. This is NOT marble at all! I also suggested a color change & rather than take off the paint color, he painted over the original & then went on about how I am “persistent” and how “things don’t get past me” for about 5 minutes. This made me feel awful for asking that my nails to look like I wanted them to. Mind you, I don’t like to complain, in fact this is my first review! I’m very much the person to accept poor service or even brush off people’s poor performance as having a bad day or rough moment. However, after today I decided that I needed to inform other people about this. I’m so upset, definitely $50 that went down the drain!!

I went on the 24 th of June to get acrylic nails and they were alittle messed up on the sides but i had went out of town for a wedding (the reason I got them done) so I let it slide since I didn’t have time. So 6 days go by an I noticed 4 were coming off so on the 6 th day I came back in town an I asked them to redo them they had a attitude with me because they messed my nails up lol an they ain’t supposed to come off before a week my nails usually stay for 3 weeks so you know I had to come back I didn’t spend 55 dollars for nothing or I would of just went to Walmart an got press on nails that stay longer than that an they start doing them when he gets up an switches to another person because he asked for my name an I wouldn’t tell them mind you I wasn’t being rude about it or nothing so I don’t know why they needed my name like he was trying to band me or something, like don’t worry I won’t come back again anyway lol so the new girl comes an they just kept getting up while in the middle of doing my 4 nails and talking and laughing like I’m not a costumer waiting but I remained patient as I waited 2 hours to get done 4 nails just for the lady to put on the wrong color an for them to start falling off again 3 days later so no I would not recommend they also didn’t clean the nail station that little brush they use to swipe all the powder off my hands they used to wipe the whole table an all there tools when I first got there that’s is dirty this isn’t the only time my nails have been messed up but they were messed up coming off an the wrong color I’m just disappointed

Service was great. Disappointed in pricing and communication. Im new to the area, so I called before I came. I was told 1 price ($30), then after services were done, I was told it was another price ($35). Then it was another price ($45) because of the way it was done. It was never told to me that there were any additional costs. I went in expecting to spend $30 on my nails, ended up having to pay $45.I got a deluxe pedicure and a SNS powder dip for my nails. Im very happy with the quality of the work.

I just left this establishment so excuse me if I’m fuming!! 😡🤬I went to get waxed and a color change.I spoke to the front and let her know I didn’t have much time due to prior obligations…they informed me the color change may take a while but the to get waxed wouldn’t because the room was open. No problem if i have time after I will also get a color change. It was just me waiting in the room for a while and another person comes in and commented on the service and wait.After some time one person enters and attempted to give the other person the wax, when the other lady waiting says that I was first so she comes to me and another lady with glasses came in. I have been a customer since before they moved to the new shop so I say I want the lady with glasses because I know she does eyebrows very well. The lady with glasses immediately began helping the other lady and told me she doesn’t have time I can’t choose just lay back! With an attitude 😒My response was how I was being treated was not ok.The first wax lady also motioning me to lay backLady with glasses urged me to lay back! -annoyed might I addThe First Lady left the room and that’s when the lady with glasses told just to wait there and I replied I was leaving..got up and left.🧐✍️LETS JUST NOTE THAT NEITHER OF THEM WENT TO THE SINK TO WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE SERVICING A NEW CLIENT!!!😱😱😱 And to touch your face none the less 😏🤮I don’t think that’s up to code but ok 👌🏽

My daughter had her nails done here. She was visiting me from OH. They are very professional and friendly. The work done on her nails was beautiful.

Its been a couple of years since I went. I was hoping the service would still be great, not so much. My feet were not scrubbed well and my polish is tacky. Ill try Luxury Nails next time. My Mom got her nails done and they were not done well at all. Her nails werent placed on properly and her polish was tacky too. Do better people.

I had my pedicure done here. The lady named Tanya did my pedicure. She does not do a good job. 45 I payed she did not massage feet or legs. Not even a week later my gel polish came off my 2 of my toes. What? Thats not supposed to happen. But Nate repainted them for me. I give a low star because of the worker. Manager Nate is Awesome! Tiffany was very good.& careful w/me I broke my left foot about 4wks ago; just got cast off & was put in wooden shoe. So she couldnt do alot w/ that foot but, Tiffany was extra careful & did a good job.

Not what I expected too lazy the guy doing my pedicure

Went in for a full set. Had an noon appointment. Took 35 minutes to actually get started. Then requested dip, and was given a very very limited color choice. Was told they dont do dip often and its not preferred. The new set of nails were put on, on friday, broke one Saturday evening, by simply reaching into my purse to get my wallet. Went in Monday morning, got nail fixed, took 45mins and they no longer had the color i used on friday. Then left salon, within the hour reached into my car dash cubby to get my sunglasses, and broke another nail. Back to the salon i went. This time the nail tech, was very rude and straight out said i was a liar. That i needed to be more careful, as i have long nails. Yet, i have had acrylic nails for over 20yrs and they have been longer than they currently are. She did an awful job fixing the broken nails. Her attitude and quality of work were extremely poor and unprofessional.Third nail broke: waiting for repair. Same nail they fixed yesterday.

Second time here both was incredible took my daughter with me last time the super deluxe pedicure was amazing so much I might try the full body massage Karla was very good highly recommended

They are under construction right now. Got a quick 30 🤔minute Pedicure. For new raised Prices. Lady working on my nails talked the Entire time to Employee next to her. And No Dryer or lights, due to Construction. My last 3 nails ruined bcuz she put Cotten between toes& had me walk out to pay.came back on 7-6-21 got Wonderful Service & a Wonderful Pedicure

Just went in to get a price for a set of nails for my 14 year old daughter, that I had a picture of. The young man asked if he could have my phone and then walked away with it to show the picture to someone. A few seconds later he came back with my phone and quoted me $70. I understand that many business have lost money due to covid, but this nail salon is trying to take advantage of others and were all still trying to get by. Wont ever grace their establishment with my presence again.

I called ahead to ask how much a SOAK OFF and gel polish would cost, was quoted $30 (loved the price). When it was time for the soak off (that I paid extra for) was suppose to take place, they just used tips to RIP my fake nails off! I could have done this at home for much less pain and damage to my nails! When I told the technician that it hurt she said “ok” and continued to rip off my nails. My nails had grown out pretty long since I last had them done and was excited to finally have natural long nails. Thanks to the nail tech, my nail length went from long, skipped medium, and all my nails became short. Not to mention my “gel polish” is coming off 2 days later! They ignored me most of the time, lack proper training, lack hygiene, and should not have 4 stars. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Today was my first and last time coming to Nail Palace. During my visit I was passed over to 3 techs. The guy that did most of my manicure (if that’s what they want to call it) was very rude and did not do a good job on my nails. I went in for a gel manicure but it was insisted that I get acrylic powder instead. The end job was lumpy and bumpy. The simple design that I asked for my teen daughter could have done a better job. At the end of the session the guy stands up pours oil on my nails and simply says “WASH”!!!!As far as cleanliness- with the rise in COVID numbers this salon was not clean and was over populated. Sitting there I noticed they did not disinfect between clients. It seems as though they were more of a production line instead of actually caring for the client.I will take me business elsewhere!

My nails did not come out how i wanted them . They are not shaped right at all and these were way to expensive for how basic i got them. They charged me $45 for white acrylic powder and it didnt have any designs and they are short . Way to expensive dont recommend ill stick to nail time 2.

They are quick to get you in. However they are also quick to get you out. I have gotten a couple mani pedis and each time I asked for the same one and got something different than before. I did not feel valued I felt more like a bother. They were so rushed everytime. But I guess that is what you get at such a big salon.

I was visiting from out of state and was recommended this place. Biggest regret of my life. Not only did they pass me around from tech to tech (because someones appt arrived early) Not my problem. Make them wait till their APPT TIME. The girl they passed me to was rude and did such an ugly job and was getting mad that I was pointing out her mistakes. She began being rough on my nails when I said I didnt like something and was just mumbling away in her language. Terrible first impression. Not worth 45. 20 maybe for the work she did.

Great, place, super friendly. They practice universal precautions. They check constantly to make sure everyone was ok. My first time and will definitely return.

I’ve been here 5 times because the location is convenient for me, but I don’t intend on coming back. The manicure is overpriced for the service you get (as opposed to just a color change). I’ve gotten more at other salons for the same price. For the one pedicure I got, I really didn’t appreciate my nail tech pushing me to get a more expensive one after I told her what I wanted. Even after I said no, she still tried convincing me. It’s also a pretty cramped space, which makes it loud even when it’s not necessarily busy. My nails have come out great at each visit, but not worth it.

Don’t go here unless you want to catch COVID. Ren did not wear a mask the whole time and I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable the whole time. Not sure if they even clean the tools they use on people. No social distancing and overall very dissatisfied and quite frustrated actually.

Best manicure I have had in awhile

I absolutely hate this place. The lady rushed through my nails and caked so much polish on my nails, she didn’t even pay attention to what she was doing because she was talking to everyone else. The people at the front desk were loud and obnoxious and the experience all together was the worst I’ve ever had.

All of the staff was adhering to COVID-19 safety standards. I was able to walk in without an appointment and promptly be seated for a mani/pedi. They have a wide range of service options & colors to choose from. The staff is very attentive and takes great care of the customer.

Treated myself to a pedicure and the polish has chipped after 4 days. Very disappointed and I dont recommend this place.

I’ve been here a lot of times. They do good and are friendly. But you can tell when they are rushing and then the quality isn’t good. I got gel on my toes and nails yesterday and several nails are already chipped. He put my shoes on too fast and my toe wasn’t dry all the way so it’s bubbly. The only reason I still come here is because I’d consider it the nicest nail salon in Sanford..

DANGER: This place is not cleanly, the nail technicians do not pay attention to detail, and they will ruin your finger nails. There isnt sanitary equipment to cleanse the tools anyone else is using. No one wears masks or gloves. My technician was coughing over her shoulder. She pulled out a dirty strained towel, a tool box with lose tools, and went to work. I just got acrylic nails off and told to be gentle as they were very fragile. She ended up breaking a few of my nails and leaving jagged edges as she used a dirty nail file. I had one foot in at this point as she begins doing my cuticles and suddenly she cut me! She was gossiping about a couple in the waiting room and staying derogatory things about them. Every few seconds she would look up distracted. She cut my thumb by accident and was very apologetic but I had had it. I left and went home with a bloody thumb. Stay away and find a nail salon was higher sanitary standards! They prioritize speed here and have a lot of staff to accommodate the large about which sacrifices safety and sanity.

I walked in thinking I knew what I wanted however the nail tech had a much clearer vision of what shape would look good and the idea she had for the accent nail was way better than the one I had thought of. I basically put my hands in hers and I am thoroughly pleased!!

I frequent this nail salon for my nails. This last time I decided to give their eyebrow waxing a try and that was a big mistake. Not only did she not honor my request on how I wanted my brows to be shaped and cleaned but my skin was damaged in the process. I recommend only for nails. I’m disappointed.

Very crowded and rushed showed pedicure design was told simple can do no problem they couldnt and instead letting me pick a new color told me to draw it myself. Over priced and the nails are always chunky/uneven also had an infection from cut cuticle they never cleaned

This was my first time ever having a pedicure. A friend recommended and we went together. It was wonderful! Hot stones, hot wax, sugar scrubs, oil massage of lower leg and foot, hot towels topped off with nail polish of your choice. Cant wait to go again, dont know why I never had this done before. Everyone should have this experience!

My service was very uncomfortable. The tech. used a nail brush across my feet and toes. She niced me several times using her dremel. Then with the manicure, I told the tech there was a bubble under my gel polish, and he ignored what I said. Three day later there was a fungus. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Today was my first visit. The salon itself was very nice. Vicky was a very attentive technician. The stars are for those reasons. However, due to lack of proper equipment (UV light for gel polish) the service took twice as long as it probably would have. Although there were at least 6 technicians without clients, it seems no one was motivated to help locate a working UV light. I approached the assistant manager respectfully, complimented her shop but then asked why no one could assist in the situation. She said that some polish takes a stronger light and they are short on them, and that she was sorry and next time it would not happen. Vicky completed the job with 1, faulty light. No offer of any discount, accommodation of any kind. I paid the bill and tipped Vicky, it wasnt her fault. As a first time customer though, I was very disappointed that a lack of assistance by other idle employees inconvenienced me and did not seem to phase management. I would have loved to give a good review here, but that was a real turn off.

I NEVER write reviews but the experience was so atrocious I’m hoping to save someone else from wasting their time and money here. Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. Unhygienic and just disgusting, from the nail tools to the chairs and bathrooms. The environment is so crowded and no where near relaxing. Went for basic hot stone pedicures and the workers tried to swindle us into getting a more expensive package plus gel polish by asking multiple times, and phrasing it different ways. Then laughed at us when we said no. To make matters worse the nail technicians who did the pedicures were both horrible. Mine actually made me bleed (I understand that can happen accidentally) but he kept digging his nails into my feet/toes (intentionally?). Plus my nail tech hardly provided a leg massage (that does come with the hot stone pedicure). I am so disappointed since I usually go to Cary, but I figured I’d give the place in town a chance because of the great reviews...not sure if the people writing these good reviews have ever been to a high quality nail salon or what. HIGHLY RECOMMEND driving the extra 30 minutes to City Garden Nail Bar Cary!! That is a real quality, hygienic, relaxing nail spa.

Efficient and friendly service. I was pleasantly surprised that they sang Happy birthday to a customer. There was a cake and candles even. I think that was awesome.

This is my go to place for pedicures, but recently it has been hit or miss. I went in this past Saturday afternoon and was helped right away. I asked for the deluxe (2nd level) pedicure. My toenails are great, but the reason for only 3 stars is it lasted barely 30 minutes. In the past, at least 10 minutes was given for massaging the legs/feet. I only had the lotion rubbed in on my legs. No type of massage whatsoever. The girl was done before my massage chair even turned off (set to 30 minutes). Wishing they were more consistent!

I have one girl that i go to and no one else, Binh is the best, i love her. i met her because i had a complaint and they were gracious enough to fix the problem at no charge and i was more than happy. i love that i can have a glass of wine while getting my nails done

Will never be going back again. Used to be a very loyal customer but they have gone downhill quick. Had an appointment today for 12 and sat there for 30 minutes waiting to be helped before finally giving up and going back to work. This has happened too much lately and I won’t be back.

They are awesome. Nate the manager did my nails and he did a wonderful job. He made me feel so welcomed being that it was my first time at their establishment. As I was getting my nails done I noticed how everyone was so attentive to each client that came through the door. I will definitely be returning.

I am new to the area, and went to Nail Palace based on reviews. I was not disappointed. The shop is larger than any I have been to with an abundance of employees/technicians. Dont think youll get overlooked though. I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door by a receptionist. I was asked to fill out my name and services desired on a card. Then I was immediately told to which pedicure station I was assigned. The technician (Hanna) arrived within 1 minute of me sitting down. She was very nice and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. At the beginning of the service, I was asked if I would like anything to drink. I declined at the time. Later I was asked again and and accepted. I was immediately brought a water and a fresh fruit cup of pineapples and red grapes. The fruit was extremely fresh...you can tell if pineapple has been sitting around cut for a while. All in all, the best experience Ive had getting a pedicure and brow wax. I highly recommend this shop and plan on it being my new nail care home.

We have been going here since before he opened his doors here at this new location and my entire family comes here almost now ! Never have I ever felt so much love and affectionate attention from the heart until I meet all of the crew here ! Its worth trying it more than once til you find which techs does what you like best ! We have tried a few others and we always are disappointed and come back here ! Cant find the way these people treat you just anywhere !

It really depends on who is doing your nails...that determines if it will be a good visit or not. Ive been coming here for almost 2 years and thankfully found an amazing nail tech, Peter. But before I found him and was just going to techs at random it could be a bad visit. I always avoid Linda, I suggest the same for everyone else. She doesnt care....would always break skin on my fingers/toes and one visit ended up cutting 8/10 of my fingers...doesnt listen at all on what youre asking her to do..just overall bad!

I went today and usually they do a really good job. But the person that gave me a pedicure went fast and wasn’t as thorough as usual. For what I paid, it wasn’t worth it.

When nail palace first opened in its new location it was the best in town, but they have gone down hill quick! The last time I was there in August I caught an awful toenail fungus. I won’t ever be stepping foot back in there again!

My first experience here was pretty bad and the nails started peeling the next day. I went back today, and Nate, the manager, was very kind and helpful. They have fixed my nails. I had a much better experience this time. My nail tech, Amy, was wonderful! There could not be a better nail tech anywhere! I do hope these nails last as well as they should. I have been going to Nail Palace for years now... since they were located on Horner Blvd . I love the atmosphere, hospitality and the Awesome staff! The staff is very kind and do their best to make sure the customers are satisfied! When I’m there I feel so relaxed. I love that the technicians do not rush through their work no matter how busy it is!

So disappointed, I went here are a few people said they do decent nails..I got a French manicure.. simple white tip French manicure. The “tip” is actually in the middle of my fingernail! This just looks ridiculous. I can’t believe I paid money for this. I will not be returning. I should have had them take it off and redo them but I didn’t have the time. Lesson learned.

I like this place. They usually good a good job. Fast service for pedicure. Easy chairs for my Gma yo get in and out of. Always does a great job on my eyebrows. But this last time. Toenail polish GEL didn’t last 24 hours!!!!!!!! When I’ve gone to another salon it’s lasted longer. But for some reason this one doesn’t. Hmm. I have picture for proof but won’t let me upload. Literally my big toe on one foot only has polish. And then my big toe and two others have polish on my other foot

Nate the great blessed us with great service the minute we came in. We usually drive all the way to Raleigh for pedicures. Emma and Hien were awesome, we got the milk and honey one. From the hot stones, towels, scrubs we got spoiled. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Wonderful establishment, I only received one service (manicure with gel) buy my technician, Tina; was nice and did a great job w my nails and from judging the job of other technicians to other customers they are equally talented. I spoke with Nate and Amy, I believe owners, super nice and attentive. I need to include its clean and very much spa feel. My only suggestion would be the music, a tad too loud and some songs had profanity but other than that I will continue to use their services. Undoubtedly the best nails & spa salon in the Sanford area.

Danny was pretty good. The atmosphere was very busy but nice. About 20 nail stations and the same number of pedicure stations. The workers are like family. They had a birthday celebration for one of the workers. My nails were done in a timely manner. I have had a better job done. Acrylic is a bit lumpy. Not sure if I will be back. They open till eight and that was convenient.

Came today to get my nails done but had some concerns about the last time I was here. I got a fill with acylic. My nails were already shaped in the coffin style yet she still charged me. I got a marble design which she messed up. My nails still werent shaped right. Only one nail!! I paid extra for it all. When I came today which is two weeks later she told me it was nothing she could do and if I didnt like it I could leave. Ive been getting my nails done for awhile and if the nail tech messed up they give me a free nail design or take something off the price. No matter if I went the next day or a month. I paid my money so fix what you did wrong! Thats bad business!!

Just does a great job and fast doin the nails

My overall experience was good. I enjoyed the manicure and pedicure, but the polish job could have been better. Also 1 of my cuticles were cut and I was bleeding a little and the tech keep on going as if I didnt feel or notice like nothing had happened. I will go back but I will ask for someone else next time .

Great place. Everyone is so friendly! They do the very best pedicures! And my nails always look awesome. I love going to get my nails done here!!!

I use to go to this place and was welcomed for the most part by nate the manager and several other but I had an appointment set with britney and in the middle of doin my nails and my appointment she decided to do someone elses too and I let her know that that wasnt professional and I was told by amy its ok amd when I got upset and told her no it wasnt and britney finnished my nails I left and tried to make the next appointment and britney told me the other manager whom idk of because I thought it was just nate said I couldnt come back and I think it was amy because she always help run the place when nate wasnt there so I am totally disappointed by this place because I spoke up when they were wrong and let them know that they were wrong and so they choose not to do my nails anymore, what a joke of a buisness. NEVER WILL I TELL ANYONE OR SUGGEST THEM TO ANYONE EVER

David did an amazing job on my toes and nails! The only complaint I have is when I was getting my nails done, a girl named Brittany was going to town on her nose then went and did a pedicure without washing her hands. It was gross. But I will returne because David was amazing at the services and he was clean!

So happy with my pedicure and design of my pumpkins. Thanks for a job well done every time.
