I love this nail salon! I have been seeing the owner Tai since I was 11 years old for my acrylic nails, they are truly the best here. They take their time and the owner knows her customers just by their voice!! She always knows what I like. Nearly 15 years later and I’m still loving this spa like it’s the first time I’ve came. Love the environment. They truly go above & beyond.

I was here on vacation and needed a quick repair. The person I spoke with was eager to help and accommodate my time schedule. Highly recommend this place.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I mainly see Kira Boyd (insta: @nails_by_kiraboydd) she does all my design nails (purple ones shown) and they sometimes last up to a month without coming off!! However, I also see her mom (she did the red nails) and they are gorgeous!! Both women are so hard working and I always go back because I love supporting them and being around their happy vibes! I truly love this place and I leave amazed everytime! :)

She is amazing! Very sweet and Professional. I did a full pedicure and acrylic nails and it took her a hour and 45 mins! Any other salon I would have been there for HOURS! And I absolutely LOVED my pedicure and my nail set! Simple but gorgeous! She is definitely my go-to nail tech!

We brought our bridal party to get nails before the wedding. They made us feel right at home. They took the time to make sure we were comfortable and the nails were gorgeous!!! I also got a full set and these are some of the best nails I’ve ever had. The whole staff was wonderful but Thao was above and beyond. She made me feel great and we had fabulous conversations the whole time.

I cant say enough nice things about these women. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and they worked with me and I got something more than I imagined. I never felt any pressure to get something I didnt want. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Absolutely wonderful experience, will be returning.

Went here for my first time today. I initially called in and no one answered. Then received a call back I wanted to get a pedicure . The woman who did my toes did not shape my toes how I wanted, rushed ( although she told me to come in . Gel pedicure with two big toes overlay was 65.00 and shaped all wrong

First time havin my nails done professionally. Tao made it an awesome relaxing experience! My nails are thick and sturdy. Not so thick they look fake. They are just amazing. As is the atmosphere in the establishment. They welcome you warmly. Make you feel right at home!

I am so pleased with both my mani and pedi. I rarely get my nails done, and after receiving great service, great conversation and all for a great price, I think I might be a new regular here. My first time coming into this nail salon and I was pleasantly surprised. I made an appointment and had absolutely no wait time. The owner did my nails (S&S dip powder) and they came out so beautiful. She asked every step of the way if I liked the shape, the color, and made sure I liked what she was doing. She did a full set, including putting tips on my nails in under an hour.

Probably one of the most thoroughly done pedicures Ive ever had, she just kept going, and I mean my feet look great. Ive had pedicures before that seemed rushed or liked they were just going through the motions, but she really put time and effort into it. Very very pleased, will definitely be going back

Tonight was my first time at American Spa Nails. I had a great experience. I got there late after a long week of work and needed some pampering. Right away the owner got me a massage chair and started soaking my feet while I waited. She was so friendly and she has a beautiful smile. The leg massage was amazing. She used some delicious smelling orange mint scrub, then massaged my legs with a hot stone, and relaxed them with warm towels. She did a great job getting rid of any calluses and making my feet super soft! Then she helped me pick the perfect shade of hot pink. I had forgotten my flip flops for after but she had a disposable pair me to wear home so that I didn’t mess up my toes! I needed some pampering when I got there and I got it! Her prices are great too! I can’t wait to go back! Thank you! 💖

Thao at this Salon is the best around. I’d drive across town for her to do my nails. If you can’t say that about your nail tech it’s time for a change. She cares about her clients and aims for perfection. I highly recommend her.

I have been coming here for a few months now and I really like it. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed as long as I can remember and I have to say she dies the best, even better than the businesses that focus only on waxing. I get acrylic nails done and I rarely get a broken or lifted one since coming here. I have not had a pedicure but everytime I come the pedicure chairs are full, so thats a good sign. Prices are equal to other local places.

Called an hour ahead not expecting they would have openings for today. She called me back confirming 2 pedicures for 30 min from when I called. So my roommate and I gladly rushed over. We got there and was told to wait just a moment. At this point no problems...finally I was seated in a chair next to a customer who was finishing up (and coughing) and started my soak...20 min later my roomate was brought to the same seat the previous customer. They didnt wipe down the chair and barely rinsed the tub. It was then we both noticed floating debri in the water in the tubs and got a little skeeved out. Then the lady rinsed the tool she was just using on the previous customer in the sink, dipped them into barbacide and came back to start on one of us. Apalled I jumped up and said were were going to leave as were now 30 min and theyre practices are far from sanitary. I will never go here again, nor will i recommend this place to anyone. Its not much to ask for autoclaved sanitary tools and tub liners at any price as its sanitation basics!!

Have been getting my lashes done here for over 8 years! Only place that gets me right! Lashes last for two weeks good price and they look so real ! I get compliments all the time from people already wearing lashes! Ma is the best!

My best friend and I had just landed at Sanford airport and decided to go downtown before heading to orlando. On a whim we walked into this salon. The cleanliness first caught our eye. The prices are very low, we received mani/pedis with hot stone massage for $45! We were taken right away. Friendly service. We are so blown away, we will be returning on our next trip to FL

Loved this place! Often times trying to get pedicures for three is hard as places tell me to come in and then when I get there they have only one or two techs and we all get done after the other. Not here. I called for three and thats what I got - three. All three techs were great. Super leg massages, great colors, great price, and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back next time were in town.

I never wore lashes before going here. Now this is the only place I go for my lashes. When I want them just natural they look natural and when I want them glamorous they are glamorous!! And my eyebrow are always on point walking out of here. Plus the customer service is amazing!!

The most wonderful, humble, loving, friendly and best hearted lady, Thao that greets me as I walk in, to the amazing staff that work there make it worth the time and drive that anyone could make. Everyone there makes you forget that you are in a nail shop, but instead part of a relaxing moment of just hanging out with friends and you have nails and toes too match. I have never felt rushed in and out nor do I ever feel over charged! Located in beautiful downtown Sanford, you feel apart of the town when you walk through the doors and after there are more places to wonder in and out of! I am blessed to have a place that i can relax at and to take my 6 year old daughter with me to enjoy a girls day!

Will never go back to this place I got my eye lashes nails and toes done here and when she was doing my nails she wasn’t even looking while she was painting them. I have paint all under my nails, different pattern lines and the paint chipped off quickly it literally lasted one day. My eye lashes lasted an hour before falling off. My toe nails the paint chipped off. I spent 100 dollars here they’re nice people but the quality sucks.

Got my daughters nails done there, within two days, one broke, lady wanted to charge us to fix a nail that wasnt glued on properly to begin with! Two more nails broke within a day, and we just never went back. Not enough employees too expensive, not quality work.

As a faithful customer, i have always been satisfied with the beautiful work being done to lashes, eyebrows etc. Never been a disappoint!

I have been searching for a new salon after moving to Sanford from east Orlando. I have been going to Elegant nails for the last 9 years but the drive is simple too far now. After reading previous reviews I decided to give this place a try. Downtown Sanford is such a charming place and the owner and nail tech I had were absolute dolls. However, everything else was disappointing. I went in on a weekday around 11. I was sat at a chair to soak my feet until the nail tech arrived to work. I sat and soaked my feet in cold water for about 30 minutes. Once the nail tech arrived she freshened up my water and began to work on my feet. My heels are very rough and cracked as I am an RN and I am on my feet for anywhere form 12 to 16 hour shifts so it is hard to get my feet perfectly smooth to begin with as I told the nail tech. Once she finished my feet she took me to another chair and started on my hands. She did the filing and clean up.....and then had the owner finish up with the gel manicure. The whole process took 3 hours. Mind you, I did not get a deluxe pedi or anything like that. All standard stuu, 3 hours. The building was awfully warm and I was sweating the whole time. It also was not very clean and it looks very ran down. It was also very pricey. The good things about the entire experience was that the 2 ladies were very nice and my gel lasted about 3 weeks, unfortunately thats it. They should definitely consider sprucing the place up and getting the air conditioner service.

Went here two weeks ago and am for sure not going back. Not sure how they have good ratings since Ive never had so much polish chip off before and the shape I wanted wasnt done for me. I just highly suggest finding somewhere else over here.

The first time I got my eyelashes done at the salon, was for my wedding in May 2016… Im a flight attendant, and I have been getting my eyelashes done here for two years now because they were so fabulous the first time that this is the only place I will go for my eyelashes… I love them !! theyre very friendlyj here and I will ONLY come here for eyelashes!!

Horrible. I went to remove my acrylics and my gel from my toes. It took 3 people to do and 1h and 30 min later the owner was going to send me out the door with out polishing my own nails until I complained. I was sent off to wash my hands with water down soap and a backed up sink... worst of all she recycled my acetone to use it on someone else all full if nail polish and all... 😳😳 her work station has never been cleaned since she took over that office space. Just save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Love love love my gel mani and pedi! Kira was great and fun to talk to and she took the time to get my nails perfect. She also took the time to shave all the dead skin off my heels until they were super soft.The place may look a little worse for wear, but the services are spot on.

One of the worse pedi Ive ever had, was a waste of money. The nail polish selection was terrible, the place looked old, and was dirty. The young girl didnt even massage my feet after she found out I only wanted basic pedi not deluxe. She did a crappy job on the polishing ! Wish I would of taken my business and money else where! Not sure HOW the got a good rating!

Not a great experience. All the polish colors are dollar tree brand. All wet and wild and other brands. The gel manicure I received didn’t even get the top clear gel coat. My nails are all shaped differently and jagged edges.
