All in all, the food and the food selections itself is pretty good when you want to fill up on your favorite foods. However, the pricing does tend to be a little high.

It was good, got my food to go. I have not been to a golden coral since the Covid pandemic. I noticed the food in there was a lot more pricey. it would have been cheaper to stay there and eat instead of taking it to go. But I cant afford to gain any weight so I had to take it to go. But food was very good. Cashier was a little slow ( could not use the register) but I am sure with more practice and people being patient with her. She will be a pro in no time.

Dinning room and bathroom was very clean. Tha waitresses was very pleasant and all tha food was rather great.

Now, if you want to go to an awesome place to get breakfast 🥐 Golden Corral. $10.00 all you can eat. I am not big on buffets, do to sanatary conditions, but the turn over is so remarkable. They are constantly filling up the trays and the food is spectacular. You really want to give it a try.

Our server was absolutely amazing! The host and whole staff are so kind. Ive got a young son and a daughter and my son can be a bit much in public sometimes as he is on the spectrum, and they were so kind and even went above and beyond to make just 2 bags of cotton candy for him and his sister, even though that was done for the night, and then personally brought it to them too. Its hard to find places we can actually sit down and enjoy a meal in considering everything but we can do that here. We went twice this week alone and plan to go again this week. Im pretty dang pleased with everything about the Sanford location, just wish they had buffalo wings🤣

The food and service were excellent. The only drawback was that it was too warm the air conditioner wasnt Cooling sufficiently. Everything else was great

Where should I begin !! Pros. The staff were great. Cons !! Food taste like it was used again from the day before that wasnt taken from buffet . Last 2 times I went . Also the food was cold . Not worth the hard earn money I make . Been to other Golden Corrals, They were amazing . But the One in Sanford .. I wont be going back to that one .

Okay. Food was just bland. Spent $121 and really didnt eat. But family liked it so it could be a preference thing.Staff was kind and courteous

We stopped by for a late breakfast/early lunch while traveling through (they open at 10 during the week). Tons of options- everything from bacon and scrambled eggs to cheeseburgers, ham, brussel sprouts, their A+ salad and dessert bar, & everything in between. This is one of the better GC locations weve been to across the United States.

We really enjoyed our meal this time. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender.

Our service was excellent. It was a special event. We only go to Golden Corral once a month.

Everyone loves the traditional experience at the Golden Corral where you get to have lunch and dinner. However, breakfast is a whole other deal. When you get a variety of breakfast items and can go as early as 8:00 am and as late as 10am, that is a recipe for good breakfast and convenient hours. And yes they serve grits. LOL

Very clean and safe. Customers are seated apart. All employees wearing their masks correctly. Disposable Gloves are provided to dish out food. Food is fresh & fully stocked every time I go there. Friendly employees, great service.

Great food. Fresh salad bar. I have no problem wearing a protective glove to get food off buffet. Waitresses are awesome!! Keeping your beverage glass filled is a plus.

Just sat down waitress was awesome made sure we found everything ok then I saw another waitress help an elderly man get his food at the bar food was hot and fresh great service here

My sister and I had worked on my car with the mechanic all day, we just wanted to sit down and have a home cooked meal, which neither of us were willing to prepare. We walked in, not knowing the safety precautions, to see blue gloves to get your food, the cooks and waiters had their masks on and the tables were perfectly separated. We felt right at home

The staff was nice and we were seated immediately. As for the food the mac &cheese was runny, the burgers were cold and the pizza was bland. I’ll pass on this location. The one in Fayetteville was MUCH Better.

I wish i could give the Sanford Golden Corral 10/5 stars. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The customer service was fantastic, the food was cooked perfectly and they had a wide variety to choose from. Even with covid the buffet style restaurant provided safe social distancing between customers, the mask rule was enforced and the staff was ready to serve us with proper sanitary measures. Thank you Sanford Golden Corral for giving me the amazing experience I had tonight and I will continue to come in again and again.

Dessert bar was awful looking n tasting nothing really looked fresh or appealing.

It’s a buffet. The wait staff does their best to keep your drinks full and fresh plates on your table. The cooks keep everything on the bars filled. I have no complaints other than I overeat every time I come.

Burgers were over cooked and the cheese sauce had to much oil on top of it. Server was good but, food left a lot to be desired.

Sunday was busy. But the staff was sitting people and covid practices were in place. The food was good, buffet was open (you had to wear to gloves at each trip)

Skibo is better than it used to be on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville NC. My husband likes Sanford NC

Short staff, very business, more empty tables with dirty dishes stacked up than clean ones. When walking over to get a refill on our drinks the waiter just standing there and became upset that I walked over to the station. Food was ok, the Blueberry pie was only filling like jell, no Blueberries at all.

Steak was on buffet after 4. It was an excellent cut of meat.

The food has got to be the worst I have had in a long time, my wife and I decided to eat there, we have not eaten there in a long time, now I remember why we havent eaten there in a long time, the food was so salty we couldnt even finish. The food was not worth the price they charge. The should put a sign up, enter at your own risk

I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare and I had a cold Center.

During this time of Covid crisis I was leery to try a buffet style restaurant. However, the staff and management of the Golden Corral in Sanford, NC have made every effort to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for their customers. The friendly, polite and attentive staff served my family and I with perfection. We are all very pleased with the quality of the food and the way it was served.

They did not have alot of stuff to choose from. Plus they took the leftover ham from the night before recooked it and it was dry and very hard. The price we payed for the breakfast bar was not worth it will not go back there and eat breakfast again it all tasted horrible and the French toast was burnt

Terrence is THE best waiter! We visited this location multiple times before moving, and he always remembered us and personalized our visit. If you go here, be sure to ask which section he is in and you will not be disappointed by the service.We were also never disappointed by the food or cleanliness.

The food was absolutely great and was fresh, also a friendly environment and was clean!

Very tasty and charming. Easy on the wallet and fills up the tummy with excellent service from everyone but had especially good experiences with our server Terrance, the manager and the lady working desserts who recommended one of the best cheesecakes Ive ever had. Since moving to Sanford this has become a weekly staple.

Weve eaten at this particular establishment a few times. The staff are extremely helpful and happy to answer questions. The cooks are proud of their dishes. One offered to cook a steak for my mother and awaited her approval prior to cutting it for her after she mentioned her bad hands. She said it was the best steak she had eaten in years.

We went to Golden Corral for our Thanksgiving dinner, first time ever that I didnt cook. When we got there, the parking lot was packed. Immediately, our expectations of a good holiday meal dropped. But the staff seemed as though they were veterans of serving large amounts of people in their restaurant. They never missed a beat! Their staff was very pleasant, it had a very at home atmosphere. And the food was delicious!!! 5 stars for these guys!!! An awesome experience!!!

We had a late lunch and it was steady but not crowded. Wait staff were super friendly. I think they could have maybe checked with us a few more times than they did. Everything was easy to find and the chafing dishes were stirred and replenished often. They had a good variety of food; oriental, salad bar, pizza bar and seafood bar to name a few. The grill was fired up and ready for hamburgers etc. The sweet tea was watery and not sweet. Otherwise we had a great lunch.

It was.a.wonderful experience it has been.a.long time.

Their prices are too high now.. I mean 13.99 for dinner. I dont even eat that much.. Then ya got what almost 2.00 for a drink.. No wonder people go for fast food. Its cheaper.

First time eating here in a long time. It was good but they need a better selection of vegetables and use seasoning. The desserts need to be in better shape. They looked dry. Strawberry cake was good. The tea was good.

This is my go to place when I dont want to cook! Eating in or carrying out Im never disappointed. I wouldve given 5 stars if I could get ribs every day, lol, shoot yeah!

Loved the food.

Not one of the better locations. Often food is old, cold, dried-up at times. Often out of pizza for the kids, steaks are never cooked as advertised. The are sometimes slow to fix up the bar when some ridiculous customer(s) mess it up. Some staff tries to be helpful, some does not. The servers are mostly good but a few could be much better. At the end of the day, its a good deal for a buffet if everything about the buffet was up to par (it is not. too often).

I Love this place!! Whatever you feel like eating, chances are, its there. You can eat all you want, of anything you want!! In some places, you can order what you want if its not on the buffet. They do all they can to make you happy. The desserts are wonderful & its a great place to take the kids!! There are so many choices, so you may want to start with a little of everything. Lol

Some items were good. Others were very bland . The cauliflower and broccoli were cold. The jello dessert was awful. It was okay, but not one of the better Golden Corrals I have visited.

The pizza was not good

It is a buffet and so you do get your moneys worth in volume of food but most of it taste like reheated can food. The fried chicken however was very good and the ham was fair. Went for lunch and have no opinion of any steak products as they are not available on the buffet for lunch.

I love going to Golden Corral for lunch when I cannot figure out what what I want to eat because the all the bases are covered. At my local store the staff has always been great and the food hot and tasty. My only issue is that the bathrooms always seem in disarray.

We love going to golden coral however on thitrip 90% of the food was cold. I asked for ribs off the grill, the grill master said he had to warm them up. When he brought them to the table they were warm at best and still pink on the inside. I asked for the manager, he said that was hard to believe because he could see steam coming from under the food. I told him to go check the food, Im not sure if he did or not.

I won free dinner with a fire safety. I even got a call earlier in the day and they asked if I was still coming. When I arrived it was 1812 they told me that they were not excepting any more people. So I basically noticed that they put out more invites to this than expected. They didn’t offer to discount at least two meals or anything. It’s bad enough to get a babysitter to watch two kids and than get shut down as soon as u get their. I felt like it was a gimmick to get people in.
