I visited around 9pm on a Saturday. The place wasnt busy, but more people where coming in by the time I left. I had the cottage pie. The first time it was brought out, it was still cold. They quickly prepared another and it was delicious. The service was good. I will likely stop in at least one more time while Im visiting the area.

Poor service. The restaurant had one server for the whole restaurant. Its too much to ask one server to handle. Unfortunately, this restaurant is going downhill.. the food and menu is good but the service has gone from bad to worse. Its a shame because there are only 2 real restaurants in this area and the cricket is prob not gonna last. Only thing that will save it is to make the service the best in the area and take care of the staff. The on shift managers are not managing, they are hanging out. Again... Menu is good... Thats the hard part. Leadership is non-existent.

We occasionally come here, hoping that our experience will be better that the last, but I can’t say that has happened yet. We came tonight, ordered beers (which were nice and cold!) and ordered 12 wings, a regular burger, and a chef salad for our dinner. We asked for the wings to come out first but waited for 30 minutes and never got any of our food so we paid for the beer and left. We’ve been there when it was busier and have gotten our food in a okay period of time. I don’t understand why it takes so long. The waitress said they kitchen was short staffed, but that could have been relayed to us earlier, so we’d know either 1) to expect it to take a long time to get our food or 2) to leave and go somewhere else.I’ve never had a great experience here and can’t say that I would consider returning again. Seems like only the regulars get preferential treatment….

The Copper Cricket truly is the first place I want to take my wife out after our last visit. Not only is it really close for us, but the food was very well made in a true irish style. The service was modest in quality, but the atmosphere made it well worth coming back for. The Saturday we dined in there was even live music. Hoping to drop by again soon when the weather is nice so we can enjoy the outdoor seating. I would also highly recommend trying the homade irish spring rolls and shepards pie. An authentic Irish pub experience, in NC.

Family members told us to try the wings...well, my husband loved the wings as well as the other couple that went with us. I thought the flavor was amazing (lemon pepper) but the drumsticks were tough. The flappers were good.The cottage pie was ok, but, not to my taste.I’m giving them a three because I personally thought our server had a “little bit” of an attitude and the lighting where we were sat was horrible. Our server saw ALL of us using the light from our cell phone and didn’t bother to ask if all was ok. As we were ending our meal, someone turned on the lights directly above us. I won’t be back.

A little disappointed the fish was burnt. I checked before going home and asked them to remake it. They didnt look any better the 2nd time. I think they just kept me waiting. Truly a shame because we were very impressed with food before. My reuben was tasty with the sweet potato fries.Everyone was friendly. Im going to have to try eating there next time. Sometimes people will let things go out when they think they wont get any feedback.

Service was good. Patrons beware, 2 creeps hang out at the bar, one of them is allegedly the owners best-friend and literally scream at the tv (ninja warrior) and make unwanted advances at the bartender. Screaming was funny maybe the first time but not after when Im trying to have a Convo with my wife. should of been cut off and thrown out. TrashyReply:Nice, everyone at the bar was annoyed by them, to include the bartender and manager. They totally understood what I was talking about and werent just doing customer service bs. Im sorry that your view is different on it because you werent even there and your employees said youd get defensive over it. We wont spend $67 there again.

Great food and atmosphere. Live music was playing the night I ate at the establishment. Drinks were very well made. The food was remarkable; I recommend the Sheppards Pie.

The Irish Chicken is on point. Unfortunately I had to send it back to be redone to get that deliciousness. The first go round was so dry I could barely cut into it. My husband had the Guinness glazed Chicken and the first thing he could taste was the honey. He did get more of the Guinness flavor from the drippings on the plate. If you said it was honey glazed it would have been a fantastic dish but it said it was Guinness glazed chicken. More Guinness less honey and you get five stars!!! Atmosphere was great, waitress was super nice and timely ness of service was fantastic.

We have been to Copper Cricket three or four times since their soft open (3/14/18) and have had a great experience each visit. The restaurant is brand new so we did not go in with the expectation of utter perfection because, in my experience in the service industry, that is just not reasonable. The Irish Egg Rolls are TO DIE FOR, the wings are far superior in both size and flavor than the wing place across the highway, the spinach artichoke dip was surprisingly delicious (most spinach artichoke dips taste roughly the same across restaurants but this one is different than the typical dip), the corned beef is perfectly tender, and the fish and chips are fresh and delicious. My husband and I have been very impressed with this pubs commitment to serving fresh, never frozen meat. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly. The drink selection is well rounded although I would love to someday see a tap of Franciscan Well Rebel Red (Cork, Ireland) and I know my husband would love to see Green Spot Irish Whiskey (Middleton Distillery, Cork, Ireland), but you win some you lose some. Their menu is expanding seemingly by the day. I just saw that Shepherds Pie and Guinness Beef Stew have been added to the menu so I am looking forward to trying those. I anticipate the front of house staff will only improve over time as they become more familiar with the menu and restaurant and establish solid routines. The restaurant is well appointed and the recipes are true to our experiences all over the Republic of Ireland. I anticipate this will be our new favorite place to grab a pint, watch some footie, and eat delicious pub food and I am so thankful we no longer have to drive to Raleigh to do that!

Its been way too long since Ive been to an Irish Pub, but its worth my wait at the Copper Cricket. I had the Banger Sliders with sweet potato fries and an obviously homemade Ranch dressing. Fresh flowers on each table, live music, and excellent service from Taryn made me feel I was at home away from home.

This is the first year I spent with my wife’s family in North Carolina and these guys put on a St. Patrick’s day spread like nobody else in the area. Thank you for the wonderful memories and the great food. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Made sure we felt welcome. Definitely try all their traditional Irish meals!

I ordered from Copper Cricket Pub at 6:15 for Curbside Pickup. I was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived at 6:55 and called to let them know. They said they would be right out with my food. I waited 15 minutes and called again. They once again said my food would be right out. After waiting another fifteen minutes, I left and called and spoke to the manager. I was informed my food was still not ready, but it could be delivered if I lived within 10 miles. I declined. I don’t mind waiting, but I would at least like to be informed about how long I need to wait at least somewhat accurately.

They have live music on Friday nights. This seems like a fun place. Service was friendly and polite. They have several Irish food and beer options. Was easy to get a table,, however the waitress said they had a very busy dinnertime lately. Parking was easy to find.

Its ok, every time we eat there the potatoes are super salty no matter what they are on. The last time we ate there, our fish for the fish and chips were under cooked. We havent been back.

My wife and I ate here today for lunch and we both had burgers with Dubliner cheese that were very delicious. The artichoke dip was really good too. As far as the atmosphere goes, this place seems a lot more welcoming then when this location had the two previous names. The owner(s) have changed the interior around to better suite a family to sit and eat. NO SMOKING aloud which is amazing because this restaurants bar area doesnt allow smokers. At least here my wife and i dont need to worry about sitting at the bar or indoors at all and have to worry about smelling peoples stank cigarette smoke.

Before I went this time it has been a while but it seems like the food was not nearly as good as it used to be not sure if its new owners or what I liked it before and Id like to give it another try. I had the quesadillas my dinner was barely warmed.

I got the Philly sandwich and it was drenched in sauce. Flavor was good but the meat was not chopped up. Took 1 bite and that was it.

It was a very great atmosphere. I enjoyed the wait staff was excellent. The food was delicious.

Beer was fine. Have eaten here 3 times and have progressively been disappointed by the food. Cold fries. Dry fish and chicken. Last experience on 4/25/2021 I waited 45-50 minutes for cold and dry fish and chips. My side salad came out after my entree.

Wasnt impressed at all, food was ok but not good enough to pay almost $100 bill...server was not on top of drinks and such, took forever to get our food! Also beware they add gratuity to bill automatically I would never left that much based on service that we had, now when its deserved we tip very well...I wont drive out of my way to go here again.

The food was very good. The atmosphere was comfortable. The waitress, Liz, was very accommodating. My only gripe is, the beer I ordered from the beer menu had sold out. Happens often so it isnt a strike against The Copper Cricket. We will definitely be back.

Do yourself a favor and get the grilled traditional wings. Yes, it is extra for grilled, but the char on the skin of the wings brings so much flavor! I had mild and 6 traditional wings and they were so good and juicy! I also had Harp beer which was light and complemented the wings very nicely.I remember this place as “Yesterday’s” but the decor and the vibe of this restaurant is so much better. Enjoy!

Love this place! Corner family pub with a Irish feel. Food is great, the beer is ice cold, and tje compainionship is spot on. Everyones a friend and welcomed with a smile. Whether you are at the bar, outside on the patio or inside listening to the live entertainment you are never forgotten. For a place in the middle of nowhere, food is WAY overpriced being that most, if not all of it is frozen (taste doesnt lie). I gave this restaurant 3 chances due to proximity to my house but will now sacrifice the drive to save money and get a better quality of food. #NOT WORTH THE MONEY

By far one of the best restaurants/pubs in the area and a great go-to for any occasion. Always incredible service whether you dine on or sit at the bar! Ive considered writing down my favorite menu options, but anything you pick that they make is absolutely delicious. Great owners, great managers, great staff, and great food!

Fantastic place for food and drinks. Great whiskey selection, good service, and delicious food. I come here quite often, so Ive had most everything on the menu, but highlights include:French onion soup, Irish Chicken, bangers and mash, and the cod bites (a must for appetizers.)Strangely, the wings are standouts for this place. Theyre huge, not the dingy little ones you usually get. Get em grilled for a little extra, its worth it. But their house sauces are amazing: the Irish Whiskey BBQ is unique and deliciously sweet, and the Belizean Heat is my favorite, not as hot as BWWs mango habanero, but more flavorful.

Great food! Even in to go containers! The sandwiches werent soft and soggy. Theres a cook there named Will Pickett that is so good at what he prepares, the food will melt in your mouth. Great folks, great food.... wish we were able to say great fun too, but pandemic be damned, we couldnt experience that part of this restaurant. Go if you have the chance. Its worth it.

This place is truly wonderful. The food is great and puts a uniqueness to Irish pub fare. Our servers are always smiling and very pleased to serve us. This restaurant has done awesome by adding an excellent place to eat in the Buffalo Lake Road area. See you all next Wednesday for trivia!

And 5:40 I asked about the order and was told they were bagging it up. Well 5:55 they brought out cold quesadillas and was still bagging the broccoli. SMDH....was it ever really to go?????? We ordered food the other night for delivery and it was fantastic from the timeliness of the delivery to the quality of the food. We ordered a lot of food and pretty much figured that something would be missing but there was not. Soup was hot, all the sauces were there and everything was delicious. I just wanted to give them a shout out because I know, especially during this time, it has to be stressful and wanted them to know that my experience was great! Thank you

The Irish spring rolls are AMAZING and you should definitely get two orders of them, but sadly a lot of their other food is just.. meh. That being said the drinks are good and that’s what you’re really coming here for anyway.

We love copper cricket. 100% 5 stars; unless you have misty as a waitress. We have been there 7 or 8 times with her. It is a disaster. Worst service you can imagine. We explicitly ask for another waitress when we enter. She is awful.

Best restaurant Ive experienced in the area. Fresh food never been frozen and cooked to specification perfectly (medium rare burger). Also staff was super clean, all wore masks, all tables were properly spaced, and the hostess provided masks to customers that didnt have one at the door.

Just finished an awesome dinner from here during the government shutdown. I looked through reviews and saw that many people loved the Irish Spring Rolls and so glad I decided to try them too. My husband and I both ordered burgers and they were also yummy! Also was able to get a growler fill while I waited on my order. The homemade chips I had were crisp. Overall, so glad I decided to do a take out order from Copper Cricket!

Amazing food! I had a Caesar salad... something simple, but my goodness it was amazing and the dressing was fantastic. Very clean place, and my friends loved their food too! Absolutely going to come back when Im in the area!!

New to the area and have had terrible luck with finding a great place until we found this place. Incredibly wonderful atmosphere. Warm, friendly and attentive staff. And the food was delicious! They have one of my favorite local IPAs, Seven Saturday’s, on draft. The Irish Chicken was great, very flavorful. I like ambiance, with lower lights.

Such a cozy casual and warm atmosphere to relax and enjoy a great meal with friends and family. The owners did a beautiful job with the decor and for the holiday season. Lived here in the cameron area going in 6 years and havent heard about this place till now. My wife and I tried It out tonight and im so glad we did. The atmosphere is great, staff is extremely friendly, and the food is amazing. Make sure you save room cause the cheese cake is icing on the cake. Love everything about my time here and I will without a doubt be back.

Came in for the first time and loved the layout of the pub. Staff at the front door was quick to great me and get me a great seat to see the games. Lounge area is a fantastic touch and very warm. Food was great and came quickly. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Copper Cricket.

The owners are great. I think they definitely need to quit changing hours. Other than that the food it great the owners are very personable and kind. They aim to please everyone in the restaurant as long as the request involves respect for everyone there. 5+ stars deserved.

Very disappointed with the timeliness of service. We arrived at 7pm, placed our orders around 7:20, and did not receive our food until 9:17. Our server did not keep us informed of why the food was taking so long and only apologized at the end. They did take 25% off the bill which was a kind gesture but it helps if you acknowledge to us that something is wrong while it’s occurring. The restaurant was reasonably busy and I understand that COVID has caused delays but two hours seems very excessive. This would have been a one star review out of frustration for waiting so long but the food truly was very good. The BB&J burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in awhile. We want to come back but also don’t want to wait 2 hours for food.

We went here on the saturday before saint patricks. It was a pleasent surprise. They had a special menu with some special items and good drink specials. On top of that... They had irish music and some bagpipes! It was awesome.

We love coming to the Copper Cricket. The food is amazing every time. We love the Irish Spring Rolls. They were recommended to us by our neighbors and we are definitely hooked. Every time we are there the owner has greeted our table. She informs us about all the specials or events that are happening. They really support the community any way they can. Right now for the month of August hey are doing a school supply drive. If you bring in any school supplies you will receive 10% off your bill. That is so awesome! We will definitely continue to come in and support this establishment. The vibe is always great and on Tuesdays kids eat free. The live music is always great! If your looking to have family night during week nights or having date nights here on the weekends, I would definitely recommend.

Great food, okay service and great alcohol selection. Never had a food order taste bad or that wasn’t what I wanted. Service and food wait could be better, but sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s just ok. I go every couple weeks and am always treated nicely without fault.

Friendly staff, the burgers are good, and the place has been clean every time I go. Trivia night was great and the staff was on top of our food and drinks!

We called ahead to reserve a table, and even though we arrive a little early, we were seated immediately by a friendly, polite, and informative hostess. I waitress was hands down the sweetest, my nephew asked for all the spicy stuff to not be on his burger but forgot to ask about switching the pepper jack cheese. The waiter came back out and asked him if he wanted to switch it before the burger was finished it. I ordered the Irish Chicken with side salad and sweet potatoe fries. The side salad was perfect, the right amount of dressing, not to many onions, and not covered Im croutons. When I took my first bit of the Irish Chicken, I felt a bit of nostalgia. The last time, I had Irish Chicken this good, I was nine years old spending time with my great grandmother. The owner was super friendly and sweet to everyone in my party. I could tell family means a lot to her, this is definitely a family friendly pub. The only thing, I did not like was the volume of the music but that could just be because I have a headache. Thank you, Copper Cricket Pub for a truly wonderful experience, I miss my great grandmother so much since she passed on three years ago but your food made me feel her presence again and for that I am grateful.

The food, staff, and atmosphere is great.. Open mic night on Thursdays is a lot of fun and live weekend music as well!.. They make their own corn beef in true Irish pub fashion and it is delicious. Try the Reuben, your mouth will water! The wings, burgers and Steak were excellent as well. Compliments to the chef who is also quite the entertainer as well :)

The service was so good! Our waitress was attentive, but not bothersome and very friendly. We got the boneless wings (spicy garlic) which were amazing! Seriously, so fresh and handmade. We also loved the fried banana peppers. For entrees, the schnitzel was good, but couldve been a little thinner and more tender. The BB&J burger was great!Definitely wish we wouldve found this place sooner. Comfortable, friendly, and aced the traditional Irish heritage.

I have been going to Copper Cricket for over a year now. I used to live in Carolina Lakes, but even though I live in Fayetteville now, it is worth the drive. Everything on the menu is great and my kids love the pub. My favorite is the Irish Spring Rolls. Also, the music (live), football, and service makes it one of the best!!

Today was the first time my husband and I ate at the Copper Cricket Pub, we had great food and great service. We will definitely be eating there again. The owner came over to the table to ask if everything was good, it was more than good it was fantastic. The artichoke and spinach dip was the best I have had in a very long time. Thank you Copper Cricket Pub for a wonderful dining experience.
