Three stars for this visit as time is extremely valuable to many of us feeding the pig. I was told center caps would be with the four new rims I just ordered, and then reassured the caps were in the parts dept when dropping off the truck. Picked up my truck but not caps? Can’t wait for the 40 min round trip tomorrow! Maybe put the IPhone down and use the IBM instead? Thanks.
Mike (my service guide—or concierge) was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and understanding of how much the fixes were and how it might impact me. He seemed very sensitive to my stress. Chan was very courteous about my getting to the shuttle. Jimmy was an excellent driver and I have no clue how he knew how to get me close to my house (I could not see that GPS or his flip phone was being used). When I was given my ride back to the dealership, Chan was there. The three of us talked about lots of neat things and I did not even notice how long the ride was!!! I had an excellent experience. Went in for my first oil change/service since purchasing the car. Bryant and the service team were very friendly and very professional. After my service was complete, a gentleman came out and told me a quick overview of how the cars tires, alignment and brake pads were looking. Was very nice to see the time being taken to make me feel safe on the road.
Fred Anderson Toyota and Sanford is a professional job I don’t top of it. It was running a little behind had a lot of people in front of me yesterday morning. Had breakfast across the street at cracker barrel. Did not get to my truck. Until a few minutes after I got back. It was understandable. But they was in an out he’s not playing games got my truck maintenance done rotated the tires and checked everything like professional sure. And washed my truck too. Luther Service man doing a great job. And I think the Ll.
Service department was very professional and got me out in good time. I needed to check with my sales person, Maddison. She is always very understanding and willing to help.Today, while she was at lunch, Richard helped me with some questions about settings on my vehicle. He was very patient and answered my questions. I highly recommend this dealership and both Maddison and Richard.
We had an extensive diagnostic and repair process related to the electrical systems in our 4Runner. Dan from the service center did an excellent job, not only with the quality of work but with the communication that was given us about our problems and our services. I was very concerned with the relationship between my electrical problem and my power train. After services here, my truck is running well and my cost was reasonable.
I went in to get an oil change and brake replacement and wanted to ask about some new vehicles. Kayla Baldwin was such a wonderful representative, she was very helpful and very polite. The finance manager Mike was also very knowledgeable and professional. I ended up leaving with a new hatchback and am so happy that I did!
The one who put the customers TV in the new and present location did not use good common sense by locating it to low. People walking by in front of customers, the cabinet out front covers the lower 5 to 6 in. of screen, the smart placement would on top cabinet that it is currently hunging on side of.Also the music from Service area is over powering the TV sound in the customer lounge area.
If time, reliability, and assurance are important to you, then you might be better off taking your vehicle elsewhere. I have come here for years and have had several issues ranging from incorrect parts installed on my vehicle, issues with oil changes, to them not placing mileage sticker in the windshield. Service representatives have even falsely claimed to perform services such as rotating my tires when they were never touched. Lately, service has been poor and I have reached my breaking point. I will not be taking my vehicles back there.
Why does it take 3 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation? This was my first time going there and it didnt leave me wanting to go back. Horrible first experience. Got in at about 8:58 for my 9am appointment. Didnt walk out till a few minutes after noon. Never in my life have I waited that long for an oil change and rotation.

I love the way the technician took a video of the vehicle and explained all that had been done. We have dealt with Fred Anderson in Sanford since 2002 when I bought my first new tundra. I would recommend them to everyone.
This is the 4th time in a 2 month period that Ive been in for service (for the same issue) and my car is still not fixed. I have emailed the service department and have yet to get a response. So I emailed them again today(August 2nd) and called the service manager (I have yet to hear from anyone). I am highly disappointed with the level of service Ive received recently. Plus my first and second visits were 2.5 and 3 hours which I find incredibly long considering I was only getting an alignment.
As always, the Sanford Toyota crew did a great job in a reasonable amount of time with super courteous staff. Well worth the drive from Seven Lakes.
The car was returned with oil stains and grease on interior passenger door, carpet and seats. Called numerous times but have yet to receive any phone calls back. Lesson learned, check your car before leaving. Seems they can care less about the quality of service provided not wanting to resolve the issues. Buyer beware.

We have used Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford numerous times, from vehicle recalls, routine maintenance, and repairs. The staff are always so nice, professional and helpful. The service department takes the time you need to determine what works best for you and your vehicle.
Drove from Cary to Sanford due to Hendricks balking at servicing Chevy Colorado bought at Mark Jacobson Sanford with a 5-year 50k extended warranty because they said they would have to hold upon doing work for two days to validate warranty, then check engine light so they could see if repairs were covered. I thought that irregular and because they wanted over $100 to check 5-minute engine code check, I told them no, but did have the synthetic oil change. So I went back to Sanford for them to diagnose light resulting in a long trip to find out that a compressor in the emissions control system was the cause and that I should take it only to a GM dealer to get that done!I talked to warranty office (but the original seller of the warranty and who verbally told me that it was good was no longer an employee), who also verbally that I could take it to any Mark Jacobson or other Toyota dealer and get free oil changes and washes for as long as I owned it.Talking to current staff, it seems that the former person either lied or did know what he was doing as MJ OS Raleigh would not honor his claim and I had to pay about $130 again there in Raleigh. Current staff speculated they probably was because is a GM product which is not within the realm of several MJ brands they have dealerships for.Now I plan to go to another Chevy dealer and start over as Hendricks was too snooty and dictating.I may also appeal toAndrew Gilliam, VP of Toyota sales USA near Dallas as it was through him that I considered Toyota in the first place, but I could not locate a suitable used Toyota in my price range.

Appointment was for 24 month service for my truck. Service team got me signed in on time and got right to work on the services. I took advantage of the service shuttle and ran across the street and grabbed a bite to eat at Cracker Barrel. While I was having breakfast I received a text and email from Bryant the lead service technician and it provided a link to a video feed which he shared and provided a step by step review of the service items and checklist items - conditions and actions taken while he was walking around the vehicle in the service bay. The video and accompanying audio was very helpful. The shuttle (Jimmy) picked me up and got me back to the dealership and I was able to get checked out and head back to southern wake County. All services were performed to a level beyond my expectation and I appreciate the treatment from the entire Fred Anderson Sanford team. Thank You.
The oil was changed quickly. Check out was slow; the service desk computer was slow and when that was done I had to wait for a payment clerk. The payment line was short but it took a while; even when I was next in line the clerk had other things to do before helping me. On the way home I noticed they didn’t turn off the “Maintenance Required” message. I turned it off myself but it took a while to figure that out.
My truck was promptly serviced according to my appointment time. My service agent Luther was very nice and professional.

Appt made, ready fore when I arrived. Car service, yearly inspection does in timely manner. Staff friendly and polite, always professional. Ordinarily would run through car wash but it was raining and they are remodeling. Service department always great.

Appt was under the last name Richardson for reference. Arrived for my service appt and was greeted by Luther. He quickly took my Camry back and was helpful in asking if there was anything extra I wanted checked today. They checked my tire pressure and completed regular maintenance. Always love the complimentary wash at the end. Luther was professional in letting me know that everything was looking good with my car and to call if we ever need anything.
This was my 1st 5000 mile check up also being on their Family Plan. I live in Raeford NC. My drive was almost an hour, but I appreciate the professionalism demonstrated in the midst of some major renovations of they’re facility.Thanks Fred Anderson Toyota of Sandford.

I have been using this location for service on my Rav as it is closer than North Raleigh. Usually I have excellent service, however today they were totally off. My appointment was at 12pm and granted I was 10 mins late due to traffic, but ended up still there at 4:30 and probably would have been there even longer had I not gone to customer service to ask how much longer. I had noticed about 30 mins earlier that my car was sitting in the lot, I figured it was waiting for the complimentary carwash. When I inquired, the gentleman asked who checked me in and I looked at him and told him you did. He apologized and said yes I have you right here I checked out. Went to my car and it had not been washed, and the interior windshield was not cleaned either as I had requested. I had my sleeping granddaughter in my arms or I would have said something. Then on my way home a hour away I noticed the maintenance sticker on the window hadnt been changed either, so now Im just wondering did they do all that they were supposed to do...
Dealership is being upgraded. A poor current client experience. Can’t understand why my car has 25,000 miles, but needed 45000 service. Wasn’t explained.
Recently my Vehicle was in their care for 12 Days to possibly receive a New Catalytic Converter. After Days of constantly calling to get updates on my car, being told various different things, parts not being ordered, or my service manager not returning my calls. I finally decided this was not the best place for my vehicle to receive service..
Bought a new Tacoma...they found one in my price range, equipped like I wanted within a week.
Had battery changed, did not reinstall hold down bracket, had to fix myself when I got home, had oil changed and found oil all over engine and cross members, on side where oil was put in
It was a free oil.change l didnt need anything else. But they charged me thirty foudollarsand.38cents l told them l wouldnt be back.
Great service and super fast. Called at the last minute and was seen 30 minutes later. The technician spent extra time with me explaining services and future recalls. Would definitely recommend their service department!

2 hours and 10 minutes to perform 20k mile checkup, without complications, is poor customer service. Furthermore, I scheduled my appointment for 8:15, anticipating a quick visit. No explanation was provided for the delay.
I was not informed of full cost of the work that was being done to my car. I was told of the prices for the fuel line flush and the alignment, but not the $575 cost of the tune up. The final charge I received of nearly $1000 was shocking and I felt mislead. They gave me $100 off as a token, but I should’ve been informed of the full cost before the work started.

Had an appointment at 9:45 for an oil change. Arrived 5-10 mins early and walked into the makeshift service center to be told (before I even spoke) to “be patient somebody will help you in a minute.” Was finally helped after about 10 mins (5 mins after my appointment time) by the same huffing, snippy man who told me to be patient. Waited for just over an hour and walked back into the service center to be greater by yet another huffy man when I told him I just wanted to see how much longer my car would take since it had been over an hour after my appointment and I had only an oil change. He shuffled around and I was finally able to walk out of my 9:45 appointment for an oil change at 11:07.Seems there is no point in make an appointment and that nobody who works in the service department knows anything about customer service.
Had an appointment Saturday morning for routine maintenance, without an oil change. Was told the wait would be around an hour so I left my car and was told I would be called when my car was ready. More than 2 hours passed, still no call. So I called to check on the progress and was informed my car had not even been touched yet 2 HOURS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME!!! I went back to the dealership anyway to get my car because I had somewhere to be and couldnt afford any more time. Showed up minutes after I called and my car is parked out front. I go inside and they tell me my car has been ready for 30 minutes without being notified.. like I was told I would be when my car was finished. This dealership has no idea whats going on service wise. I DREAD having to come here for ANYTHING! 100% inconsiderate of customers time. The ONLY reason Im giving more than one star is because the man who helped me in service was exceptionally nice.
The quality of service is what is expected from Toyota of Sanford. The service did take much longer than I was told initially. It took approximately 2.5 hours, an hour longer than planned. At no point did anyone come back to explain the additional time or bother to come back at all. After 2.5 hours I waited in front of the window to pay. Even then, no one approached. This is not the first time service has been unusually lengthy. I forgot to schedule the appointment at the Fayetteville location. Lesson learned.

Waited 90 minutes the guy told me only 60 minutes. I never got called after 90 minutes to find out they didnt even take my car for service and had to wait another 30 minutes. Never coming back again.
After battery was fixed. While checking in the oil pan they discovered a small leak such that it had to be fixed. Luther was kind enough to give me a loaner vehicle to use. He kept me up to date as the suv was repaired. I really appreciate all that he did for me and my family.
Great service, if you wait for service, they get you in and out very quick. The service technician do a great job. Every one there does a great job.
Actually my car had a paint recall. Fred Anderson contacted Tramway Auto Body for the repair. I got a wonderful loaner for the ten days. My car looks perfect, even the inside was cleaned.
Even though the person that scheduled my appointment did not properly schedule my appointment time, the Sanford Toyota service department performed the service in a timely manner.

Did not appreciate that they pushed me to the back of the line once I refused the upsell.Also provided false impression of the cost of service provided and ended up double the original quote.Was promised to be in and out in 90 mins and it took 2.5 hours to complete a very simple repair.Empty promises all the way around and very disappointed.

This was my first time doing an oil change here since I got my new car also from this exact dealership and I was extremely happy with my experience. They have a Toyota Customer forever with my family & I. I highly recommend them for everything and anything! They are the best! Made an appointment for an oil change and wheel alignment, and it took them over 3 1/2 hours to complete the service with no discussion on why the longer wait time. When it was time to check out, had to wait again and ask for someone to be able to check out.
Luther’s Customer Service was Outstanding. He explained in detail the what services will be performed. I explained the situation and he answered every question and provided detail feedback upon completion of the appointment. Love the Videos!!
During the teleprompter this business requires mask and supposed to sanitize vehicle I some some got covered with floor covers and seat covers however my vehicle was not….On the entrance door it says masks required but staff was not wearing their masks 😷I hope this helps with the service experience and expectancy.
Very unprofessional, poor service. I love the car I purchased from Fred Anderson... unfortunately that is the only positive thing I have to say. While the Fred Anderson “Family Plan” initially seems like a great benefit, I have never once visited the dealership for routine maintenance without a charge or without feeling coerced into getting some exorbitant service that “isn’t included in the family plan”. If you don’t pay for the services recommended, you are informed that your Family Plan will no longer be active or your vehicle warranty will be voided, even if that isn’t the case. Today I visited Fred Anderson in Sanford for a 2:15pm routine maintenance appointment... I arrived at 2:00pm, was checked in and told my vehicle would be ready at 3:15pm. I waited and waited and my vehicle wasn’t ready until 4:03pm. I was never informed that my vehicle would take longer than expected nor did anyone apologize for the substantial wait... in contrast they were actually rude when I asked if something unexpected came up that caused my appointment to take longer. The Toyota promise boasts “unexpected convenience” yet each time I have been unexpectedly inconvenienced. I would give zero stars if I could and I will be looking for another vehicle and dealership.
I had a Scheduled appointment and was car was taken back 1:10 minutes after I arrived. Classic over booking. Why do they even do appointments. Also the Mechanics are not very competent. My rear speakers are not working. First time I took it back they said they checked it and I didn’t have it properly balanced and the rear speakers are only for bass. Once I got home I compared it to a neighbors same model car. Obviously thiers worked and mine didn’t. I took it back today for a scheduled service and one they got in to the shop them came and told me the speakers were not working properly. They couldn’t fix it but said they would when the parts come in for another problem they couldn’t fix.
Took vehicle in for 30,000 mile service. Service Advisor said that we also needed a wheel alignment and the brake fluid system flushed. Turned down both the alignment and flushing of the brake fluid.Took the vehicle to our local mechanic and he indicated that the tires were wearing evenly and that we did not need the brake system flushed.Hope all these additional items arent going to be coming up each time we go for our 5,000 mile service.
We will likely never go back to the other Toyota. Toyota of Sanford is just amazing, less crowded and so incredibly nice. Julian is always amazing. The ladies who answer the phones are so fun, and the manager (I forgot his name) walls his older customers to their cars. This is my favorite Toyota dealership
Upon entering no one acknowledged us. We stood for about 7-10 minutes before anyone said anything to us. 3 guys and 1 lady all made eye contact with us yet did not welcome us or tell us they’d be with us shortly. Appointment was 10:15 for oil change and we sat for 1 hour and 45 minutes. We were not offered water or anything. Car was not vacuumed/washed. I thought this was complimentary service. Very disappointed in today’s visit. This is first Toyota I’ve owned. I’ve been a Honda owner for many year. Considering going back to Honda!

I always appreciate how friendly the staff is but they are not timely. Today it was over 2 hours for my 75,000 mile service. They didn’t have my vehicle back at the time they’d quoted me I’d be out of there. I do think they do a good job but find the timing a major point of frustration. I will say today I got $15 off for my wait but my service was over $200 so it wasn’t even 10%.

My advisor was Bryant D. Elder and as ALWAYS, he makes sure he gives me the correct advice before I leave the dealership! There was a time before when I needed tires and he stressed that I really needed new tires, he was correct and I wish I would have taken care of it then because within two weeks I had major repair work. Today he stressed that I needed brakes, I said I didn’t have time to do it, he stated to me. You don’t have time to save your life, because your brakes are really bad. I then stated that a relative could do it for me, he then said, well make sure that the person does a, b, c. I then said you know what just do change them. I trust him because he has always treated me like he wanted me to be safe, not just there to get an oil change and a tire rotation. He is AWESOME, and your dealership has a jewel in him. Usually when I’m there, no one else has ever taken that time for me, so I’m appreciative and I feel you should know this about your employee, Mr. Elder.

Time today for 30000 mile checkup and state car inspection and everything was rolling right on time for the 7AM appointment! The Service Department were all masked and Luther reviewed what we previously had discussed about my service and the RAV4 Hybrid was ready to go! Luther shared information where areas were if I wanted to sit inside, and they also had additional outside seating as another option. Luther found me getting in the morning walk in the TOYOTA lot and shared additional information about tire rotation and alignment of tires and the warranty that was available, and I appreciated him sharing. I also took the offer of the warranty. 90 minutes for all of the above, and a carwash, and the paperwork was completed, and Luther was very gracious in asking if I had any questions. He thanked me for being there today. He shared if he could ever do anything to help me or if I ever had questions to please call him! The young lady taking the payment was prompt and thanked me for coming in today! I have been going to Fred Anderson Toyota going on 5 years and every experience has been great! Everyone is professional, friendly, and very helpful. If you’re in the market for a vehicle, I highly recommend Fred Anderson Toyota!
