Okay so rented out a car for a week to go on vacation & the last day of vacation to come back home the car is having issue mashing the gas.Check under the hood & it’s spider webs all under the hood. So was the oil not changed? Was the engine not looked at before y’all placed the car out front to be rented. The oil life was TERRIBLE.& THERE IS NO 1-800 number on the paperwork to call somebody. Y’all got to do better with y’all customer service. I had car trouble all sunday so i need my money back for one day because ain’t no way in hell i should have to deal with car trouble dealing with a rental if y’all “checked” it right before y’all let somebody rent it out.

A few years ago I rented from Car Hunters and I didnt have the greatest experience back then, I recently decided to try again and..Im so glad that I did. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful! I got an amazing rate and the SUV I rented got me where i needed to be perfectly.

A friend of mine rented a car from this place was arrested and all of my items were in the car he was helping me move so I tried everything to get my items back some Adidas items were sentimental from my father passing including laptops with pictures of my son and my father I try working it out by giving them money is showing them my ID my receipts for all of the stuff I even went to the trouble of finding the guy out And now they have told me that they have thrown my stuff away I would never use these people they are ruthless and kind and caring and bad business

This will be the last car I rent from this car Lot. The first vehicle I purchased was a lemon. It started having major problem after 5 months of driving it. It sat in the shop for months and I spent over 700 trying to get the problem fixed. No one could fix it so I gave it back. This time around I went back a few months later to get another car from their lot and after three months I already need a new transmission. 3,500 is a lot of money when your a single parent, and don’t have that kind of money. The people that useto own this place in 2008 were great. These new owners don’t car what kind of car they sale you. They fix up these broke down cars to make them look and drive well long enough to get them off their lot. Note: There is a car lot in Sanford that will at least let you use one of their cars off their lot while yours is in the shop if one of the cars you got from them is having problems.

Prices have changed as far as rentals! Too high for cars that always smell like weed and always dirty be careful when paying for extra days they’ll charge you more because they constantly write down the wrong dates!!

Worst place to get a car. My moms car sucks. Today she just all of a sudden decides to check under the hood... THE CAR NEVER HAD FUEL OIL OR TRANSMISSION FLUIDS. Please for you and your families safety do not get a car. We had stuff in our car when we first got it. We took it to a place to get it fixed they said the transmission was going to blow and they said someone had to drain all of the fluids out of the car for it to be like that. Please don’t get cars from them. Then they’ll try to keep your car until your next payment. They won’t properly fix your car if you send it back to them... It’ll come back worse than before.

This place does not deserve a single star. They are supposedly a Budget authorized rental facility. I suppose my beef is with Budget, but this place should take responsibility for the hell they put us through as well. I booked a reservation 2 weeks before my move, called the Wednesday before to ask a few questions and confirmed my pick up, and received several reminder emails, as well as a confirmation call THE DAY OF MY MOVE - yet- we showed up to pick up our rental and the place was CLOSED!!!! We were paying movers by the hour to help us. We lost $$$ because of their poor business. We called and could not get ahold of anyone. We ended up having to find a pickup on a different day over 60 miles away!!! We had a VERY TIGHT schedule for our move and this completely derailed the entire thing. I will never, ever use Budget. And I sure as hell hope this place gets in trouble for the crappy business and disrespect they showed us.

We rented a car from car hunters ..nice price. nice car everything was great until we took it back and was charged 35$ for some dirt under the floor Mat.

Cars are mediocre and they stopped taking payment over the phone with credit cards so its a struggle to get cash and go up there every week. Dont be 10 days late either they will repo your car and charge you what you were behind + $350. Way over priced as well. Seriously have been paying on my car for a full year and still owe more than what the car is actually worth.

Rented a little blue car it worked great and was good on gas. Staff was nice and helpful.

Ive never rented a car before and this place is very reasonable on prices.i freaking love car hunters they are the sweetest ppl ever and if something is wrong with your car they will jump right on it. Ive had my car for a couple of months and they have helped me each and everyway possible I love it. And Randi and Gabby are amazing and very polite ladys.

We have had a greatbexperiencing renting from Car Hunters in Sanford. We rent from them at least once a week and they always have a great selection of cars, vans, and SUVs. Staff is friendly and helpful. We would recomend using Car Hunters to everyone.
