Ive been here several times with several vehicles over the years. Always feel l am treated with respect. Like we used to see everywhere back in the day.Thankfully they do the true and balance here. I had my truck alignment done, by Dougs alinement within a 1000 mile my front tires were bald. I took it to another shop where they said the toe in was way out of spec, installed 2 front tires had the alignment corrected and have solved the problem. I do not recommend this shop

Poor wheel alignment, I came here because everybody said doug do good alignment. Maybe back in the days, I just spend $75.00 on a aligment that is out of line. If you want a wheel alignment done right. Dont take it here, go to a professional like Tires wheel and Performance in Orange City they stand behind they work. I wouldnt be doing business with this people again. Im very disappointed with they work.

Worst customer service ever. After they take your money, you’d better be lucky that the tires work, otherwise don’t bother asking for an evaluation or refund. Had them put their brand new front tires with alignment. Took barely 4 months and 4K miles for the tires to be COMPLETELY worn out and alignment out of wack! This is for Mercedez with tripe-A federal safety rating. After I complained asking them to contact the manufacturer or redo the alignment, hell broke loose on me. They would not respond to my messages and I even had my insurance call them directly but to no avail. They just gave the “easy” excuse that I must have hit a pothole with no proof or evidence. They wouldn’t even take few minutes to calm the tire manufacturer to lodge a complaint for refund. They just said “we’re done with you “. They couldn’t even give the alignment results to the insurance as they keep nothing on computer as all is manual. Worst ever frustrating experience I have had in my life !! I would never recommend anyone to this place

Great place for all your front end and suspension needs

Gibson Truck World sends their duellies and heavy duty trucks there for suspension work and alignment. I know because I called them and asked where to get the work done. Another alignment shop that doesnt do heavy trucks also recommended them. When the competition recommends, and brings them business, that tells you something. I went in to have my 2002 Excursion aligned. It had recently developed a pull to the right. The shop has just the right amount of mess. The amount you would have if you were actively in the process of completing work. Employees are mellow and service oriented. After giving it a quick check, Chris informed me they would not align unless a couple of rubber bushings were replaced. I like that I could talk to the tech directly. This builds trust. He showed me the issues and it was obvious the 19yo rubber bushings were shot. I opted to replace ALL the rubber with upgraded parts as I like to have everything the same age. Chris looked up the parts and passed the information to the operations manager to quote the work. I threw out some challenges and the answers were consistent between the tech, and the management. Im also very very particular and I never got one hint of attitude. Prices are by the book so I didnt really save anything on labor by doing it all at once as I had hoped. You wont be getting any cut rates, but you get competent work. I had the opportunity to buy the parts myself online and have them install which would have saved me a couple of hundred. I chose to just have them take care of it immediately. When I returned to pick up the truck there were at least 5 heavy diesel pickups being worked on, from balancing wheels and truing tires, to major suspension work. You will pay a premium price and you will get premium work. If there is any issue, I was assured, they would handle it, and I believe it. I am in a premium service industry. I charge a premium rate and give premium service so I get it. If you get it, you should feel comfortable taking your $50k plus heavy duty, classic car, hot rod, custom build, down there to get the alignment and other suspension work done.

Doug installed new 35” tires on my truck today. The install was professional and my truck rides as smooth as a car. Amazing! Almost 4 years ago, I was referred to Doug after I had a 6” lift and 35” tires put on my truck. Those tires ‘hopped’. Dougs shop has a machine that shaves down the high spots on a tire. He made those tires ride smooth. I expected the need for the use of this machine again today after my new tires were installed but I am completely amazed that they ride smooth because of his detailed attention to the quality of the tire installs. Great job to the entire team at Doug’s Alignment.

Was able to get my truck right in and repaired unlike the dealership who required 160.00 just to look at my truck. I was referred to this place and would gladly go back and send others here for real honest fast service.

Courteous on-time knew exactly what to do was in and out in 20 minutes on an alignment on a Ford f-450 granted new ball joints new inner and outer tie rods but they had me a line and in and out in 20 minutes

Was recommended by a buddy of mine and I did an appointment. Saw me quickly and inspected the car gave me a fair quote on what needed to be fixed on my car.

I am very pleased with this shop, very fast and professionals, if you have big truck this is you spot to alignment and balance.

So owner instructed me to put shims in my car as if I’m a alignment tech and refused my service car wasn’t equipped with upholstery but I definitely wasn’t asked was it a full operating car or I would’ve rescheduled so free money to the tow truck thanks Doug alignments hopefully when I go to Burger King I can fix my own burger and still pay them

I had a set of tires on my car that would vibrate over 80, three other shops including one that did a road force balancer could not fix. Set up an appointment with Dougs, they did a tire truing (shave) and it worked perfectly. Now my car rides smooth as glass. Great work there, very honest people. Cant say enough good about them.

Upfront and honest

Went in for a ailment since my jeeps been acting up, few minutes later came and got me to show that the axle was actually bent and needed to be replaced (never got fixed from the last owner who got in a front/rear accident) Firestone used to do my alignments but never said anything and could only adjust toe. Luckily I have another jeep for parts so once I get the better axle switched out you can bet Ill be taking it back here! Best part they didnt charge me just to let me know what was wrong 👍 Real top notch place I will recommend to my other 4x4 friends

This is the place to go if you want someone who knows what they are doing. They dont rely on a computer to tell them how to do it right. One of the few places that can true and balance. Plus their alignments are spot on.

Excellent work done here. Very reasonable rates. Jeep specialists. Can shave your oversize AT/MT tires and make them run smooth on the highway. Highly recommend.

Dougs alignment was able to get my 2011 f350 with 35 tires balanced and front end aligned when 2 other tire store couldnt. They are Very knowledgeable and experienced.... so glad a friend suggest I give them a chance. Love the old school way of balancing tires and the frontend alignment process . Not to mention the prices are way cheaper than the big tire stores highly recommend giving them a try you wont be disappointed.

My 16 yo daily driving truck needed front suspension maintenence and Tim and his team diagnosed the obvious issues and also found a few problems that other professionals had missed. Every deficiency was shown to me and explained in plain english along with a plan of parts and labor to correct each one. I followed their advice and now the truck drives like new again. Smooth as glass! I highly recommend Doug’s Alignment and would refer them to anyone that is interested in exemplary service and capability. Five Stars!

Excellent service, and its quick! drove an hour just to have them true my 35 inch tires, just the front two needed to be done. At highway speeds they would shake the whole front end, enough to knock change out of the cup holder. After the true and high-speed balance the truck drives like new, extremely smooth even over 100 mph.Tire Truing is a lost art, I recommend this to anyone with similar problems.10/10 will recommend their services to anyone, I would use them for alignments too if closer to my home.

Took my van here to get aligned. There were a few issues that needed to be fixed in order to get it done however was quoted astronomical for parts and labor. I paid half the price i was quoted elsewhere and didnt need everything that was told to me. I wouldnt have wrote this review had the gentleman not been so short with me as a customer. I would have preferred if he said, i dont want your business and dont come back. At least we would of been on the same page. Never again..The young lady up front was very pleasant.

I installed a new lift on my LML Duramax. Came here to get it fully aligned because there is no other place I would trust more to do it right. They work on everything from lifted trucks with silly wheels, classic cars like this 63 split window and whatever race car you got. All of the older guys always told me about how this place is the best since they were at their old location on the corner of 2nd Ave and Myrtle. closer to downtown Sanford.

Great Place! Took care for alignment, and then again for diagnostic and he aligned the car again. If your tired of shady mechanics go here...they will be honest and wont dog you to be able to service your vehicle.

I hit a curb and messed up my car pretty bad, long story short I was stuck on Florida with my in laws (alone!) till they could fix it. They told me a week, and I explained the situation. Well, the next day they called me, said one guy worked through his lunch, another stayed late, and my car was ready to go!! Needless to say I absolutely LOVE these guys! Did good work on my car, and fast. Thank you so much!!!

My first trip to Dougs Alignment back in the early 90s was when they were downtown Sanford and were Steves Alignment. Their expertise with front end work, alignment, brake, and tire balancing keeps me coming back. All my trucks (20 plus), Jeeps (3), Cadillac, Lincoln, Toyota, Escape, Focus, Motorhomes (2), have been through their shop with nothing but perfect results. Taking my 2014 F-250 4 X 4 in this week for balancing. Next week our 1971 Morris Minor gets the frontend reviewed along with an alignment and tire balancing. Although I had an issue with the wheel installation that resulted in a ruined custom painted wheel, Tim, upon seeing the problem, didnt hesitate to take responsibility and replaced the whole set.Ill definitely be coming back and would recommend them to anyone.

This place is horrible! I took my brand new tires here to get trued, when i picked my truck up more than 60% of my tread was GONE off of one tire. At least 40% was gone off the other three. They did not even bother to call and tell me they were going to take that much tread off. Now i have to buy one brand new tire! My tires were brand new as it was.

Horrible place the people are sluggish been there more than once with different cars they wanted an appointment hardly anybody there knew what was going on and they change the price of my bill three different times all with different reasons one of them saw wires hanging that i was removing soon no big deal but he put it on the muffler to melt for me to find later i now do all the work to my cars and truck at home (just because people take their time doesnt mean the work is gonna be done right)

Charge me to rebalance my tires that they didnt even balance truck still rides the same $140
