I will never be coming back after being a long time customer. I wanted to get a full set of acrylics with a design I found on google and match with a friend. His nails tech immediately told us the design would be ugly on his nails and started talking about us to my nail tech (not in English but you can tell when someone is talking about you). The design I wanted had 5 colors and my nail tech started making faces and commenting on how long it was going to take. I told him I would go somewhere else if he didn’t want to do my nails. He said it was fine. The design he did was not what I asked for and he only used 4 colors on the last 5 nails he did thinking I wouldn’t notice. He also changed the design because he was trying to make it different even though I specifically said I wanted it like the photo. The actual nail set is chunky and was totally rushed. My nail tech and my friends nail tech continued to gossip about us the entire time even saying things in English about us. It was ridiculously rude. Do NOT recommend unless you know a nail tech there that actually knows what they’re doing.

Ohhh, I thoroughly enjoyed this place! They are ALWAYS clean. You dont walk in and it smells like pure fumes. Everyone is pleasant. Tracy does my nails and Marie does my toes. I enjoy these ladies as they have taken the time to learn and therefore ALWAYS provide the type of service that I require. They too are extremely particular with the quality of service they provide.

This salon never disappoints! I always come here for my pedicures and the techs always take special care for my toes. The manager, tee, and the receptionists makes me feel welcomed whenever I come in. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been a long time customer of this salon and over the years have brought numerous guests with me. My latest appointment me has me thinking that it might be time to change. The manager / owner (male) leaves a lot to be desired. He’s not very personable and runs the salon like a factory. Not something you’d expect when engaging in what should be a relaxing experience. For the most part their work is good but with a recent price increase ($38 for a sport pedicure and they stopped using stones) I’m trying a new salon today!Would love to continue to support them but a $40+ pedicure deserves to be magical.

This place is definitely over rated!! I just paid $120 dollars for a full set and and gel polish on my toes. No pedicure and very cheap looking nail art.The polish has large bubbles in every nail. My cuticles were also cut and bleeding because the manicure was rough.Im very disappointed and should have not tried them.Tiffanys idea was there but execution was terrible.Especially outside in natural lighting.For this price I could have gotten a pedicure and a much better set of nails.Not to mention Apple Pay doesnt even work. Not again.

Sam is wonderful and very precise. They have gels, dips and anything you want for your nails. I love 💘 Sam because he always does my nails.

OVER PRICED!!! I never mine paying for a service when the work is good, but I’ve been here several times and I’m never pleased with my nails. The acrylic is toooo thick my nail shape is never right, and for the amount that they charge ever nail tech should be able to do amazing work! I’ve tried serval different people here and apparently no one can do a decent set of nails. Then they don’t listen to what you want! As the paying customer I should be able to get what I want and not what you think I should have. Extremely disappointed!!!

The employees (Maria) told me my nails would be ugly with the design I wanted because they’re short.She also kept on telling other employees to look at the design and told them that I was matching with my girlfriend. She seemed super judgmental and left small blank spots on my nail and didn’t follow the design well. I felt very judged because she kept talking in another language to other employees and kept on laughing and showing them the design.Not good

Unfortunately if you want a regular manicure just to get cuticles clean up, get hangnails cut, nails file and feel pampered this salon is not for you. You must want to have gel, acrylics or other service other wise youll get looked at like you dont belong and from the beginning youll get a bad experience. At least thats what happened to me with Brian. Didnt get the color I wanted, end up getting french manicure that he had to do twice because he was un a hurry and the first time the tip started too moved because it wasnt dry before applying the top coat. Hangnails were not removed completely, had to get home and finish cleaning up my nails. Brian kept pulling my hand close to to him instead of him trying to get closer to me, that would have been difficult if the was an acrylic panel on de desk like on the other desks but that desk didnt have one. Overall it was a very stressful experience, never wanted a manicure to be over so fast. The only reason I gave a two star was that my friends nail technician Tania helped Brian at end and she was so professional and tried to made me feel better.

This was my first time at Hammond Nails. My friends and I were searching for a salon with good COVID protocols and quality service, and Hammond Nails exceeded our expectations!! The place was spotless and there were temperature checks, hand washing prior to service, social distancing between all clients, and everyone was wearing masks (over mouth and nose!).Ricky did my pedicure and was so detailed, communicative, and friendly!! This was my first pedicure in months, so Ricky had his work cut out for him, but afterwards, I felt like a new person!!Karen did my SNS manicure and was also so friendly and did very detailed work! Im a big fan of SNS, but dont love how thick some salons/techs layer it. Karen was AMAZING and my SNS manicure is perfect: so smooth, even with my nail shape, and the perfect thickness, which is to say not thick at all, but still sturdy and protective.I can honestly say these were the best pedicure and manicure Ive ever had! I highly recommend Hammond Nails in Sandy Springs, especially Ricky and Karen!!

We made an appointment for 4:00 and I sat in the chair for 20 minutes while my daughter was getting her manicure before anyone got to me.And when they did it was the worst experience in a nail salon I have ever had. It felt like we were on an assembly line and they were trying to get me through to get to the next one. Never going back.

My nails are sloppy! After giving this place a few chances due to conscience I give up. The colors do not match and my manicure was painful as if my nails were being sanded off. I will not return and recommend anyone who cares about their nail beds to stay very far away.

This is my go to place for pedicures. Let’s start with the shop. The ambiance is welcoming and modern. As soon as you walk in, they ask you to wash your hands and check your temperature. This made me feel safe especially the extra precautions they are taking by spreading apart the clients. The nail techs are also very welcoming and accommodating to my needs. I usually do the jelly pedicure with gel polish and let me tell you, it lasts me for MONTHS. Literally looks like I just got it done even a month later. Overall, the staff, environment, and work will leave you coming back. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I had a manicure and pedicure and I requested buffer shine with no nail color, and the lady was not good at it, every nail had a different shape so I complained about it at the counter and another person tried to fix the shape. But the former lady also cut my skin while removing the cuticle, I don’t remember her name but it started with “M” and she was in hurry. Now, I have redness, swelling and pain on my fingers.

Have tried numerous other salons and finally gave up and drive out of my way to keep coming back here. Who you get can be a little hit or miss like other places but a majority of the technicians are great at what they do. Management is super well run and organized and friendly. David is my go to for SNS, hes incredible and attentive to my nails but isnt chatty (I prefer to listen to a podcast during service)

I went with my friend and both of us had issues with our nails. Their were bubbles, some nails were crooked, sheer and messy. We went back to complain and we were told they didn’t have enough time to fix it. Do not recommend. It wasn’t worth my money.

I have been going to Hammond Nails for 10+ years now! They have the best customer service, fabulous technicians, and a great atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and always smiling. My gel nails last for 3 weeks or longer. It’s also a reasonable price for everything- they treat you right. I will never stop going here to get my nails done! (They also have gone above and beyond to make sure everything is safe during the pandemic)

So glad I can say that my first time was not my last time! Walking in I was greeted right away. All staff in the salon wore masks. The receptionist asked for my temperature, as well as if I could wash my hands before seating me. I was very fond of how precautious they are with following the COVID guidelines.Anna did my first pedicure so I had to come back for another one, specifically from her. She’s very sweet and has given me the best pedicures I’ve ever had! From how precise her work is, to the massage, and to the overall hospitality she performs is great! I will be back!

I went and got my nails done on Monday by Mrs. Jackie. It took her three hours to do a gel set with 2 design nails for each hand. I told her that one of the nails were too thin. She did not correct my nail! Not only that, her attitude sucked. She was not worth the $30.00 tip she received & my nails were not $76.00 worth of work. The thin nail is now chipped completely off(the thin designer nail I informed her of) as well as the nail next to it.

Ive been going to Hammond Nails for the last four years for pedis and gel nails. Tracy is absolutely the best for gel and SNS and the only nail tech Ill see. I dont have a regular pedi tech, rather, I just walk in and whoever is available. However, Ive always been happy with my pedicures, which last weeks! I like that the people at the front desk know me by name now, and the rest of the staff is always very nice and friendly. There is very little chatter amongst the nail techs, which I really appreciate as well. Theres nothing worse than having your nails done and techs speaking amongst themselves in their own language and wondering if theyre talking about you. Doesnt happen here! Also, the place is immaculate, and they follow COVID safety guidelines to the T! Best nail salon in Atlanta!

They accept their last appointment at 6:15 but they close at 7pm. The front desk girl was rude and they just seemed dirty.

I’ve been here a few times now called Dore Nail Spa because of the convenient location. Each time POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Disappointing to say, I’ve had to defend myself after asking for a tech to fix my nails because 3 nails broke in the same place after only a day, I was met with “you broke it so you pay” Techs have gotten attitudes after asking for a certain shape or style because they don’t feel like working. I’ve been denied service after requesting a design they didn’t want to do. I’ve been double charged at this store. Getting your nails done should be relaxing and you should feel pampered. Don’t waist your money. I echo what a lot of reviewers have already said very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Had my first manicure experience here. Loved the result, but communication couldve been better. I didnt feel like I was walked through my options and pricing wasnt that transparent. Required cash tip. I like that that used Five Star for coupons and the locations is convenient. Big location with immediate walk in service.

Friendly staff and customer safety was a priority. Great selection of colors, brands and services. They are getting dinged for not putting oil on my nails when my gel polish was dry. I shouldnt have had to remind them, considering they stated they were going to do it. And they are getting dinged because they had to rush to the next customer. Everyone should be treated as if they are the only one! Great customer service is key!

Ive been getting my nails done at Hammond nails for a couple months now because it is convenient to work. I have had great experiences with each Tech used for my nails. This salon is clean and sanitary. Jackie and another Male tech (forgot his name) were excellent! Jackie by far the best tech Ive ever had do my nails.4 stars because Duke is friendly and does a ok job, but my nails on one hand were huge compared to the other hand; not even. The one time I got my eyebrows done was like I paid for nothing, wasnt the best.You are better off just as a walk-in, unless you have a specific tech you want. The last time I made an appointment I waited 20 minutes before I was seen while people were walking in and getting service before me. When I walk-in, I get instant service.Last, this salon is more expensive than others, but worth it in my opinion. My nails last beyond 2 weeks. Guess Ill try the pedicure next.

The Sandy Springs Hammond Nails is a top-notch experience from start to finish. The two people I would highly recommend although I’m sure there are others who are good are Carol and Tracy. Carol is lovely! She has an intuitive sense especially when she’s doing your massage where she truly thinks about and asks you if you’re stressed and need particular help. She has a really positive energy about her. She was professional and very skilled. Tracy was funny, kind and we had a great couple laughs. She’s very humble and sweet, and my gel manicure stayed almost 3 weeks.

I am looking for a new nail salon and decided to try this place after walking in, not smelling fumes and seeing how CLEAN it is (even the bathroom!). The cleanliness of the bathroom is always in indicator of whats happening in the rest of the establishment. Lindsay did my pedicure, and I think she was pretty good, but I was so focused on the not so great manicure by Kin(?) that I couldnt focus on her. He was more gentle after I asked him to be, but his shaping of my nails was atrocious. Not everyone can shape well, but to me, that is an indicator of how expert you really are. His massage was eh. The best thing he did was polish. I dont usually like men, especially older men, doing my nails bc they are either too rough or just not as good as the women. The other BIG problem were the massage chairs. They just dont feel good. Vibrating is NEVER as good as the rolling pin (or whatever its called). I know I can always find someone at the nail salon with better skill and technique, but the massage chairs are what they are. So, I would go back but the massage chairs will keep this from being my number 1 spot.

This is by far on of the nicest and biggest nail salons that Ive ever been in. I went with my grandmother who has terminal cancer. They were very kind and attentive towards her which I greatly appreciated. We both got pedicures which were amazing. And I also got acrylic nails. They are beautiful and even, Ive never had them look this nice. 10 outta 10, will 100% go again.

The establishment is very clean and everyone is professional. My mother and I were walk ins at 6:30 and they took great of us. We did not feel rushed and Jackie fixed my nails to perfection. If you live in the Sandy Spring area this is the place to go. Actually if you do not live in the area you should go because you will not be disappointed

The best nail salon in the Sandy Springs location in my opinion. Very professional but very relaxing at the same time. Everyone here is very sweet and goes out of their way for the customers. The new location is much bigger and spacious, giving customers more room and also a chance to bring friends if you’d like! Refreshments are made available (a plus). Love it here!

I have been coming here for years and it is the only place I will go get my nails done. The facility is pristine, large and easily accessible. The staff is also great! Tia and Tina both do a fantastic job and are so friendly! I highly recommend this location and would not go anywhere else!

Ive been going to Hammond Nails for years and Im always pleased!! Tee is so helpful at the front desk with booking appointments both in person and when I call. All the technicians are wonderful!! I would definitely recommend Chi and Helen!! They do a fantastic gel manicure and gel pedicure! Im very excited for their new and larger space to open!!

I made an appointment and then waited for 30 minutes before my technician came - not even while my feet were soaking in hot water, either! My pedicure only lasted about 20 minutes. Big disappointment.

I have been going to this location for over a year and love the full experience. They keep up with trending styles and colors. My go to technician for manicures is Ari. I love how she pays attention to details and does not do a rush job. She is very sweet and pleasant to be around.

This was my go-to place. However they have really changed the quality of their service since COVID. For a basic pedicure, they used bath and body works lotion for a 1 minute massage. I could use that at home. And for a gel manicure, I was rushed to pick a color, and wasnt given a chance to even if the color I was rushed into was what I wanted. No more hand massages either. I came home and ended up using my own nailpolish to fix it.If service is limited now, the prices should definitely be lower.

I love this place!! I’ve been going to two of the Hammond Nails locations for 6 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They just moved into a beautiful new location by Whole Foods and the space is clean and bright. The staff is wonderful and the Sport pedicure is my favorite. The owner is usually there and makes sure everything is perfect. The best!

I have been coming to Hammond Nails since I was in high school.. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They know me and my family by name; and the owner always takes time to say hello and ask me how I’m doing. I have taken multiple people here, and have always had the best experience. They have numerous locations so depending on where you are around town you can always find one. Can not say enough good stuff about them.!! To me there is no other place to have a relaxing, pleasant nail experience in Atlanta.

I claimed mani and pedi as a birthday gift, but the quality was very poor for the price I paid for! Mani was gone 3 days after.The worst thing? The lady cuts my toe skin and pulled it, and then she put alcohol and touched it with her fingers. It really was hurting me! 🤔I was very disappointed!

Must visit!!!!! I had a great experience here!!! Ari was very detail and took her time. Loved the way she polished and cut my cuticle. I can’t wait to come back to see her.

I have been going to Hammond Nails at SandySprings for almost 4 months now, and their prices are reasonable and they do an AMAZING JOB!!!! The service is prompt and such a peaceful environment. Definitely would give them a chance if your in the area, Ive been looking for a contemporary nail spa and now Ive found one.

I have been a client at Hammond Nails for 16 years! The entire shop is full of respect! The nail technicians concentrate only on their own client. I travel to get to the salon and it is worth everything! Try it… You will love it!

I am always scared when getting my nails donw so it is never really a relaxing exepriance for me. However I had one of the best experiances at Hammond Nails. My lady was very nice and was confirming with me that what she was doing was what I want which made me a lot more relaxed. She kept a conversation going which also made me relaxed. At the end I even messed up a little part of my nail and she kindly offered to fix for me. Over all I had a great experiance.

Wanted a quick toenail polish. Taken to a pedi chair to wait. I waited and waited to no avail. I put their polish back and left. This was my second and last visit. The first time I got an awful gel polish that I removed a few days later.

The lady doing my nails Jennifer was so rude. She yelled at me when I asked her if she could fix my nails. She in a rush and so she messed up my nails and had an attitude. She then proceeded to talk about me. Just rude, horrible experience

I went to Hammond Nails for years mainly because of the Chinese technician Katherine. She was great! After she left I no longer received good services. My last manicure was so bad even my spouse noticed. I requested a refund and did not get one. Also, the atmosphere is not relaxing. It is very busy, loud and the services seem rushed. I never went back and dont plan to.

I have been a client for about 16 years! I enjoy the respect from everyone - Tee at the front desk and Kim who does my nails - and everyone else, too! People often stop me and compliment me on my nails - and I always tell them where I get them done. Awesome and very clean salon!!

Very disappointed in the quality of Mani/Pedi I had here. I believe my tech was new and inexperienced. Regardless of her experience my toe polished smudged after almost 2 hours after leaving salon when I put socks on!! My nails chipped on day 2. Will not recommend this place.

Good place. I’ve gone there for a few acrylic refills and they’re done well for the most part but almost every time at least one of my nails ends up just coming off. Not breaking or anything but coming u stuck from the base of my nail

One of the best pedicures Ive had in a long time!

I paid for a deluxe pedicure but my experience was far from deluxe. Lan, the gentleman who did much pedi was very rough and actually caused my cuticles to bleed. The massage was very quick and the polish looks bad and not all the way filled in. The only good thing about it was the hot towels and the one hot stone he used. I also asked for simple nail art which he couldnt do but he did get a fellow employee to do it. The employees are really nice tho and it is a beautiful space so I would try it again, I just wont ever pay $42 for a deluxe pedicure there again. Its definitely not worth it

Was here about 3 weeks ago. Got a mani pedi and spent about $130. Within those 3 weeks I’ve had 3 nails break on me. What’s the point in paying for SNS if it’s poorly done? They repaired one. But I don’t even want to go back. I’ve never had SNS nails break so fast.

Was a regular customer. Not sure if they are understaffed or what, but lately Ive been waiting for appointments I made for 30+ mins. Disorganized...two seperate days Ive seen people walk in after me and get served before me for the same service. Brought this to the attention to the manager...of other people coming after and getting helped before me, and she basically told me that I was wrong...although I have two eyes that work. Lackluster response from management really turned me off. No point of making appointments...overrall, disappointed because I liked the place for over a year.

Do not come here! My friend and I got our toes done here last night. The lady that did mine was rushed the entire time and hurt me several times. I woke up with a swollen big toe. I am going to have to go to the doctor first thing in the morning. What a waste of money and time.

I got a spa manicure and it lasted me 2 DAYS! I have had polish last way longer doing my nails at home! And While he was doing my manicure, it seemed like he was rushing. It was a week day and it wasnt even busy. I watched someone else get the same thing done as me, and hers lasted twice as long. When I got home and looked at my nails, I noticed that not only did I have polish on my skin around my fingers, but in some places, my whole nail wasnt even painted. Luckily I had a gift certificate for this service. But rest assured, I will not be returning to this establishment. BEWARE

I seriously can’t go anywhere else for my mani/pedis! Hammond nails is a beautiful salon with an amazing staff. I’ve been going here for 2 years and they consistently do an amazing job. The prices are fair and I love their rewards program. They send out offers during the week for discounts and you also accumulate points for each visit. I can’t say enough great things about the owners and staff here! Keep up the great work!

Amazing customer service, clean salon, and excellent work. Efficient payment (they accept Venmo!) My first experience there, I got my acrylics filled & gel polish like I normally do, and strangely a few started chipping after a few days (Ive worn acrylics for 10 years straight, this has never happened). I came back just asking for the polish to get changed (expecting to pay), and the owner gave me NO attitude, profusely apologized, and they repainted for free. I will absolutely be back because I have never had such amazing customer service and everyone there works so hard to make the customer happy. Highly recommend.

I came here recently after having moved to the area. This place had pretty good reviews but I should have read more first. I did a basic mani pedi and got acrylic nails. Within less than a week almost all of my nails have broken at the tip by doing simple things (putting on clothes,closing doors. I was concerned when the nail tech didn’t cut my real nails down first before applying my tips but figured tech knows best,now my nails are popping off like cheap Walmart press ons. At first I thought it was just me, but all of my nails have broken in the same exactly place (where the tip was applied).Waste of 60 bucks!!!! They may do great natural nails but everything else is a 👎🏽 For me.

This place tbh trumps other places i go for SNS. Alot of other nail salons do them pretty thick but thats not the case at hammond. I’ve never had a bad experience, and plus they have fivestar which gives you points for every dollar you spend, and discounts after you get a certain amt so you have an incentive to come lol. Overall no complaints 👍🏼

I was referred to Chi at this Hammond Nails location over a year ago and Ive never gone anywhere else since! She is the best and always able to accommodate my requests for fun colors and designs with gel nail polish. Chi is perfectionist just like me so I never have a complaint. Shes very gentle removing the polish & doesnt thin your real nails out. The facility is very clean & efficient. Ive never had a problem or bad experience. they also have customer reward cards that give discounts. I highly recommend this location and Chi to anyone who wants a great job done on their nails :)

I’ve been going here for years and absolutely love all the staff. They’ve always taken such good care of their customers so if you’re looking for a new regular nail salon, this is it!!

The lady who did my nails only cares about number of clients she takes in day, she doesnt really keep her time in doing nails of anyone. Kelly was the person who did my nails. She just put thick layers of sns nails powder and filed once thats all done. I got my nails done yesterday and already the color started coming off. It is not worth the price they charged me. Horrible and ridiculous service too. Management we as rude here. Taking all this as consideration I would never go back to this Salon.

I am sadly disappointed with this salon. I came here looking for a new salon. The first time the second time I got SNS with tips and a pedicure. The woman who did my second sns did a really lousy job and all my nails started cracking and breaking in half, including it cracking through my real nail as well.. OUCH. When I went back for my third time.. only because I wanted them to fix it or I would of went else where.. She took off my nails and I saw the devastation that appears to be a nail fungus that can be spread to others. Probably exactly how I got it, I brought it up to the woman and she said it was from acrylic.. I told her I have not had acrylic and have had sns and had only been at her salon the past few months. She told me to soak my nails in vinegar and wiped of the polish brush and dipped it into the polish that already had been dipped in.....all in all... go at your own risk... she was clearly not concerned that I had contracted (something) from their salon and services and went to the next guest using the same polish and tools.Never Again.PS. I have been getting my nails done for 15+ years and this has never happened to me. This place tried to use EVERY excuse in the book to not point blame on their-selves. DONT COME HERE!

I have been coming to Hammond Nails for about 12 years. They are located in the heart of Sandy Springs, and are just fabulous. Whatever want, they can do. Gel, Acrylic, S & S etc.

Meh, unorganized & bad service. I entered the facility for a Mani & pedi. I was taken to a chair, no water running, waiting, waiting, and waiting. Suddenly a couple comes in and gets immediate service. The hostess attempted to tell the young woman I was skipped and she proceeded anyway. I put my shoes on and left. This was before Covid

I love them getting my nails done there! Their service is excellent, I highly recommend them

Can’t say enough good things! Every month is a treat to myself and they always take great care of me! TOO MANY color options (a problem for my indecisive self 😂) and great technicians — I literally have taken all my colleagues and friends here and they’re now return clients! So excited for the new and larger location! The team is always professional and the space is ALWAYS clean!Their warm towels after a manicure or pedicure smell SO good! 💕 I’m now ready for the holidays... until next time!P.S. Nancy and Vincent were such a delight! I could tell how much they enjoyed their job and the team work was A+. This is the first nail salon I have been to that I felt super comfortable and the work done was excellent!
