One star is too generous. One may want to have photos and details of every angle, every stone,every little imperfection of your jewelry BEFORE leaving your belongings with Lauderhill’s. One may also want to make sure EVERYTHING is written down in detail on a repair slip BEFORE you leave it...the carat weight and quality of stones, metal color/kt, number of stones etc. One may find these documented details to be more valuable than one could ever imagine they would be.

Wouldn’t recommend for rings with special bands. My engagement ring had a sword edge, and they filed it into a smooth curve. Asked specifically for this not to happen, even attached a photo.

I had a custom piece constructed by the jeweller, and it is stunning. Even over a year later, I am consistently complimented on his handiwork. They are also able to appraise pieces. I readily recommend them to friends and family.

Geneva and the staff are wonderful! They have a beautiful selection of jewelry, unique and affordable. I have brought things in to their Estate Section and have sold things I don’t use. Would give them zero stars if possible. The items here are very poor quality and overpriced! My husband bought a ring for our anniversary. The ring had small diamonds on it and the sales associate guaranteed my husband the diamonds wouldnt fall out. Within three weeks, three the diamonds had already fallen out. I took the ring back and told the store what happened and the owner of the store either wants to charge me for the repair for the ring that is defective or give me store credit for something I dont want at the store. Take your business elsewhere.

I have been going to Lauderhills for the past twenty years. They resized my wedding ring and they did a great job. I would highly recommended their services to anyone. The customer service is friendly and very adept at answering any questions you may have. There selection is vast and they can special order other pieces and gemstones as well. It is nice to know a reputable jeweler in Dunwoody and they are my first choice for repairs.Valentines is coming and they always have specials so check them out.They also do appraisals so if you need one do not hesitate to ask.

Beautiful store with LOVELY jewelry, but unhappy with the service received. Took a couple of things over to be fixed (soldered and sized). They never called once it was ready and didnt fix one piece. Then when picking up, they couldnt find my jewelry initially. Frustrated and disappointed. Its convenient, but disappointing. Not sure I will go back.

I came to Lauderhill’s after a glowing recommendation from a family member, in order to help create the perfect engagement ring for my to-be fiancé. I worked with Geneva to examine all of my options in order to pull it off. Having never purchased nice jewelry before, she was very glad to help walk me through all of the in’s and out’s, educate me on diamonds, and offer suggestions for settings. In the end, I settled on taking a family diamond and resetting it into a new band. I was so impressed with the service, and my fiancé (now wife) loved the quality so much, we went back to Geneva for her wedding band. I also purchased diamond stud earrings and a pendant necklace for her wedding gift. They also helped restore my wedding band, another family heirloom to looking like new! We needed to bring the engagement ring back in recently to have the basket for the main stone adjusted and they had it looking even better than before when we came to pick it up. We have nothing but great things to say and look forward to giving them many more years of our business. From new purchases, redesigning older stones and settings, to repair and maintenance, Lauderhill’s seems to have all the bases covered.

They re-sized a ring of my late mom from a 9.5 to 5 so I could wear. The ring was sized but when I got home noticed one of the small diamonds missing. Apparently it popped out during the sizing. They never informed me of this as well as they could have offered me the gold that they kept from the resize. Overall, the staff was not very friendly, it took a while before anyone would look up to acknowledge me even though I was buzzed in the store. They were so rude that even a customer had to tell the sells lady that she was good, maybe you should help the other customer. I should have walked out. Oh well, it was unfortunate, that I gave them my business and it was disappointing. I saw several things I liked in the store and would have probably made a purchase if they had been more customer friendly to the people who dont look like them.

I too would give them a zero if possible. I took my nearly new ladies Tag Heuer Aquaracer to them (trusting them from past experiences) and paid them $40 for a battery and pressure test by a third party repairer. I get a call from them that the man theyve been doing business with for over 30 years told them the watch needs a new movement. Get this: the owner of the Lauderhills did not know if this expert was even certified to repair Tag Heuer! Further, he seemed oblivious to the word culpability. Bottom line: DO NOT TAKE YOUR WATCH to these people. They have blindly trusted someone with a fine watch, and are clueless about credentials. And they didnt even have the class to offer me a 40.00 refund since my watch was not repaired (despite the hundreds of dollars Ive spent here on jewelry over the years. They could care LESS about you or your jewelry you didnt purchase from them. They are simply not culpable (theres that word again). Pathetic experience.Y

Rude on the phone. Asked if they could unsolder two rings, and the answer was Nope. Asked if they had a jeweler that they could recommend who could do it today, and the answer again was Nope. How about, Im so sorry that we cant help you today or something to that effect. Im Southern, and I think that Nope is rude. Wont be taking my business there.
