My Macbook Air trackpad stopped working yesterday so I brought it to Experimax Sandy Springs today and Neil repaired it while I waited. The cost was reasonable and the wait time was short. Ive used Experimax Sandy Springs several times over the past few years with different Apple computers and have always been extremely satisfied. They have always been friendly, quick and reasonably priced.

I was looking around to help get my logic board replaced for my older Macbook. I was referred to Experimax and I was chatting with Neil via Email about possible costs and such. I brought it in my Macbook and the staff was friendly and helping me looking over laptop. I brought it in Monday and was expecting to possibly get it back Friday. But the parts came in early and got it back sooner. Also they communicated well on another issue that happened to my Macbook and were able to fix it. Im pretty satisfied with the results of the repairs/replacement of my Macbook. I would definitely recommend this place for any repairs and reasonable pricing as well.

This was the quickest and most efficient service I have had with a phone in a while. My phone screen literally went black and was cracked all over. This place was recommended and I had my phone looking brand new within 35 minutes. I was amazed and Nick was awesome! If you saw how bad my screen looked you wouldve just said to get a new one. BUT NOPE! This place saved the day.

Honestly I cant believe what pleasant and quick service I received here. And below my expected expense?!Im glad the place nearer to my house was closed on Mondays so that I ended up here, as I will use Experimax for any future computer service needs.

I had an issue with my iPhone cameras/flash and screen not working and they fixed it within minutes. Granted it took a day to get the camera but I didn’t even spend more than 30 minutes two days combined. Also, they are very knowledgeable and nice people!

I went here on a Saturday and got 2 Iphones fixed that had 2 different issues. One needed a battery and one needed a screen replacement. Quality, value, and customer service from Nick could not have been better!

Nick is so honest and professional! I went in thinking I needed a new screen, nope, just a screen cover! he could have charged me over $100 to replace the screen, instead, It cost me $20! I have been using them ever since and their work is top notch!!

Really great service. Couldnt fix my problem but didnt charge since they werent able to. Super nice. Kept me informed on progress while they were working on the drive. The space is also really nice.

So I thought my MacBook Pro was done for, I took it to several different places and everyone told me the same thing I should just sell my Mac for parts bc it’s gonna cost over $1000 to fix, I saw Experimax on a Google search and the reviews were great. So I gave it a shot, I was nothing less than impressed. Nick is so nice and very knowledgeable my computer is back to normal and it wasn’t even half the price that everyone told me!! I had a issue with my MacBook Pro battery. I had made appointments with two other places but was wary about the reviews and they weren’t clear on the cost to replace my battery or how long it would take. I saw one of the reviews mention to go to Experimax instead and I was so happy I chose this place.Service was fast, Nick was nice and knew exactly what to do. He said an hour and it was ready exactly within an hour. I will definitely go here if I have any other issues come up.

I will rate this place a 5 star because of NICK! Service was quick and professional. I felt somewhat rushed by the other white gentleman that started assisting me it felt as if he wanted me to hurry up, pay and leave the store. After my laptop battery was changed, I needed extra help getting rid of the sharp edged on my laptop that popped up as a result of when my battery bursted open to avoid my finger getting cut and he bluntly refused to help me get rid of it. But Nick had no problem at all going the extra mile to make sure he helped me get rid of the sharp edge. He’s very knowledgeable, patient and above all humble. Ive used this repair shop 3 times for 3 different reasons. Satisfied with service, fees and timeframe. Great hospitality towards new AND returning customers.

I called because my iPhone was disabled and needed to be reset / recovery mode with iTunes and the guy on the phone said he would do it for free if I stayed and $30 if I leave . I came in and they got it done quickly. Definitely recommend .

Called the store first to see how long it would take to repair a broken screen. They quoted 30-35 min but after I gave them the phone it only took about 10 min. Great service, honest work, and we will definitely be back another time!!

I had an excellent experience at Experimax Sandy Springs. I came to Experimax after my keyboard and trackpad/mouse on my 13-inch macbook pro both stopped working; I couldnt even unlock my computer to get into it. In addition to this, I had dropped my laptop before it began experiencing these issues and damaged the screen (only 80% of the screen properly functioned). Both of these issues combined made my laptop completely unusable. I explained what was going on and purchased a macbook air instead of repairing my pro, and Experimax successfully transferred everything from my macbook pro to my macbook air! It was ready for pickup the next day. I was also able to turn in my old computer for parts which took $ off the entire purchase. Thank you Nick for your top-tier customer service and for being so informative! I really appreciate it.

This is a decent local store to photos of the on repairing Apple products. The service is nice enough, and prices are moderate. Ive had two good experiences there and recommend them for someone in the area.

Neil is fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, great enthusiasm for his work! My computer would not boot, after having to re-install Yosemite. My computer is my work station, and he saved me untold amounts of time and money by quickly recognizing the issue, and working around with a few keystrokes. Amazing!Neil has been an Apple guy for over 30 years, and it completely shows. Dont bother with the crowded Apple store at the malls, THIS is your own personal Apple store.

I was so close to tossing my mac... the owner was insanely helpful in assuring me my mac was still good, and just needed a new hard drive and an updated chip. Not only did he save me a ton of money I was prepared to spend on a new computer, but I absolutely love my mac now! So today I visited this location for what I thought was for a new charging port. I explained to them why I thought I needed a new charging port. I was told my service would cost $70+ dollars and it would take 45 minutes. I left my phone and returned prior to close of business for the day. When I arrived I was told that they took out and put back in my battery and my phone was completely fine and that I owe nothing! Although owing nothing was great news, that is not the reason I give them 5 stars. HONESTY is what sold me! In a money hungry world we live in I would not have been surprised st all to have still been charged for a charging port whether receiving it or not. Now that’s how you build excellent repor and loyal customers! I will refer everyone I know in need to this location! Way to go guys!

Neil and his team fixed my Mac keyboard in fast / quality fashion and were super responsive and friendly. Other service providers told me it could take up to a week to fix but Experimac knocked out the work the same day I brought it in. This was very important to me as who wants to be without their computer or iPhone for a week??? After this experience, I wouldnt go anywhere else for help with my Mac products - I am very glad to have found some Mac product pros I can trust.

I walked in to this place with pretty much no clue what to expect. I was initially interested in buying a new computer for my girlfriend this past Christmas, but they asked to take a look at her computer first to see if that was necessary.Long story short, I walked out with HER computer better than ever with an incredible and affordable price tag attached to everything they did. I had a great experience with Experimac. I took my seven year old Mac Book Pro in and talked with Neil, the owner, who is very knowledgable and helpful. I needed to upgrade the ram, upgrade the OS, and get a new battery. Neil accomplished all of this in very little time. And the price, Neil is both honest very fair, a real gem in Sandy Springs.

My son brought his mac here after having a really bad experience at another computer repair chain, paid $70 and got nothing in return. Experimac did a great job and he had excellent service. The diagnostics found the problem with his hard drive, he had it replaced and price was reasonable. His mac is working AS GOOD AS BRAND NEW now, so we are so pleased he brought it here. My macbook pro had some issue with keyboard, apple perimeter told me on two separate occasions that logicboard is broken and 400+ dollar flat rate is the cost of fix. So i decided to visit experimax, Rep greeted me, diagnosed the issue, fixed it and did not even charged any service fee. I am very impressed, i will definitely recommend this place.

When I was in need of a laptop, Neil followed up with me by phone and even asked how the laptop was working out on my last visit to fix a broken phone. Its nice to have someone explain your options to you fairly and thoughtfully, rather than someone try to sell you something just to make a sales goal. It took a month to repair my computer and there was no communication even when they told we will text you if it’s delayed. Also, one of the guys told me that the $125 originally paid would be credited towards the $450 charge to repair. When I came in, they told me it wasn’t the case and made me look like a liar that no one ever said that. Wow. Just unpleasant overall!

Love working with these guys. They have helped me out countless time with repairs and buying computers. Their advice is always spot on. They are real problem solvers.

Visited this store looking for MacBook that we saw on their website. They did not have the laptop that was listed. Guy there told us they have a fast turn around and just cant keep up with the website listings. Didnt seem too interested in helping us. Why even list things on the website? Wont return there.

These guys are great. I took my Macbook to them after spilling a cup of water on it. It wouldnt work at all and some damage was done due to the liquid. David brought my computer back to life and fixed the components that needed to be fixed. My baby is like brand new again! This is so important cause I run my entire business off that computer. I called this store to sell my MacBook pro 2015 model. They asked me to come to the store and they gave me quote for $300. The same laptop with more usage is selling for $1200 in their store. I event notified to the one of their employees on this. I do have receipt for my laptop.My laptop is used just 20 times(battery cycle count) not even a scratch at all. But the one they are selling for $1200 has some scratch and the cycle count is 1200.When I called this store and asked the quote so that I can avoid driving but the gentleman said you need to come to the store for that.I was very upset because they gave me very low quote, one of their 2011 MacBook is selling for $400 and above. Why dont they say in the phone 😡?

Neil is the bomb! I came in to get a checkup on my laptop that started acting funny the night before my first DJ performance. I needed to finish working on my set and was going to be absolutely screwed! Neil told me what was going on with my laptop and had run some cleaning and diagnostics on it to make sure it wouldnt quit on me. But being extra paranoid, I decided I wanted to go ahead and get a second laptop just for DJing, especially because I needed a ton more space for all of my music files. Neil, who expressed he is a musician himself and is happy to support the arts, gave me a KILLER discount on a laptop with double the memory! Neil walked me through every step he took with my computer and had it back in perfect working condition for a reasonable price within 90 minutes. Fantastic store, very clean, neat, open and airy! The staff was very helpful! They replaced a broken power button on an iPhone, and they did it while I waited. They told me they are going to be offering classes on the weekends. Great experience overall, highly recommend.I am sure I will be seeing them again, for my next iPad or iMac purchase.

I went in to fix an old iMac along with some issues I was having with the visual voicemail on my phone. They were very busy that day, but took the time to help me carry the iMac into the store, fix it with so much patience, answered all my questions, and helped carry it back to my car. Neal, I believe he is the owner, was so professional and greeted every single customer that came into the store with a smile. Their customer service is exceptional! I really dont see this level of customer service often.Nick and Dajie worked very hard to figure out the issue with my phone/messages. Id already called apple care, went into the stores, called my carrier, googled it, you name it! I could not figure out the issue and no one could help me. They were so determined, researched and figured it out! Im so impressed with how Neal runs the store and has trained his employees. Great job! I will for sure recommend and will be back again!

Couldnt have been happier with the service. It was fast, friendly and reasonably priced. I took in a Macbook Pro paperweight and $260 later, I had a new battery, hard drive and RAM. Its like I have a new machine. What a bargain! Cant emphasize enough the customer service. These people have a real desire for the business to be successful and it shows. I will no long be going to the genius bar at the mall to get my apple products fixed as Expericmac is easier and less expensive.

I recently brought my old Macbook Pro in because it wouldnt boot up. My wife had good experiences here in the past, so I gave them a try. I showed them what was happening and that there was an obvious hardware failure. I paid the diagnostic fee of $100. They called me back the next day to tell me the OS was corrupted. Ooookaaaayyy... They said they would try to reinstall it, but would back up my data first. The next day they called again to tell me that it was taking a long time because I had so much data to back up. Then, they called me later to tell me that the OS restore wasnt working and they suspected a hard drive failure (no kidding. I think I told you that when I brought it in). They again told me they would back up my data, install a new hard drive, and restore everything. The hard drive would be another $110. The price was high, but I was already in for $100, and they were going to save my data, so I said yes. A few days later, I went in to pick up my computer and it had a fresh install of the latest OS with NOTHING ELSE. When I asked them about what happened to all of my data and software, they casually said We couldnt save any of it. What?! You specifically told me thats why it was taking so long. If they had told me that they couldnt save any of my files, I wouldnt have paid for the hard drive repair. This was an expensive lesson learned - I wont be using them again. As I said, I know other folks who swear by this store, but my experience was bad.UPDATE: After taking it back for another look, the Experimac folks told me that the problem was my RAM (probably true) and replacing it would solve all of the issues (not true). I replaced the RAM, but the computer still ran unbelievably slow - my browser wouldnt even open. I took it to a local repair shop that did a great job on my PC and they told me that something was wrong with the brand new hard drive that Experimac installed - it benchmarked really slow. The other shop then installed a brand new SSD for LESS $$ than Experimac charged me to install a faulty hybrid drive - problem solved. As I said previously, my wife has had good experiences with Experimac, but they really failed big time on my Macbook repair. High prices + shoddy repair = expensive lesson learned. I wont be using them again.

This is a great find for a mac user. My old iMac died on me. I had not backed it up in ages and needless to say I was worried about a lot of that Data. Being a computer idiot, I was in a position to be taken extreme advantage of. I searched around and stumbled over Experimac, which was remarkably less than 2 miles from my home. Neil, the technician at Experimac, diagnosed an expired hard drive. In less than 24 hours I had my iMac back, good as new and at a fabulously low cost. Couldnt be more pleased. I have spilled hot tea on my computer and I took it to experimac. What a mistake. However, I was told that to clean the spillage cost 125$. After, they clean the spillage, I was told that I needed a keyboard and that will be additional 100$ and new battery and that will be additional 125$. When I asked why I am paying 100 $ for the keyboard I was told there are 125 screws to be taken off. Wow what an answer. Long story short I fixed my computer for 30$ plus the parts. Do not do any business with these people. They are crooked. If I could get them 0 stars I would.
