I would give zero stars or negative stars if it were possibleWhen I make mistakes, theyre big mistakes, and this was a very very very big mistake.I rented from here many years ago with no issues, so looking for a lower price than the big businesses, I gave them a call.Art told me he could give me a much lower rate. When I asked what the monthly rent was, he replied to come in and see whats available and I would be taken care of. I should have stopped right there. Not getting a solid quote should have been all the warning this would be a crooked dealing.The morning of the renting, Art woke me calling, asked what time I was coming. I said 11/11:30, he said 10:30 works better. Rushing and feeling heavily pressured by Art calling back a few more times, I left my home discombobulated and without everything I needed for work. I even mistakingly got on the freeway with no gas and had to turn back, making me even later which resulted in Art calling and texting a few more times, even a text at 10:30 to tell me he was waiting at the location he was going to meet me.When we met, he asked me how much I paid for the car I just turned in. I had paid $289 including $80+ @ $10+/day for insurance and $50+ for taxesWhen I saw his contract the weekly base rate was written in at $250 not including insurance.I commented about the price being no lower and he said hes charging the monthly at $660 and saving me a lot over $289 per week.I suspected at this point he was trying to get over on me. I think he believed I would compare their weekly rate to his Monthly, making it seem like a savings, but even comparing his weekly to theirs, $250 with no insurance was more than the big companies base weekly rate of $150 without insurance for a new 2020 or 2021 car thats CLEAN and STERILE, before fees and taxes. The other company was closed until Monday so I had no choice but to go ahead with the transaction...That was BEFORE I was given a car.I couldnt believe what I was thrown into!!!For the rate of $660/per mo I received a 2008 car witha broken windshield,a busted front bumper,no way to connect or charge my phone,and the air-conditioning only worked while moving, but got hot while idling.Worst of all, it was filthy, layered with dust, crumbs and grit. The glove compartment had a half drank water bottle, and the drink holders had several plant buds in it.Then the morning after, the front right tire blew out on the freeway and I had to wait for hours on the side of the road for help. Hes trying to claim the tire blowing had to be my fault, so I had it looked at by a mechanic who found nothing to implicate me. He told me it was just old from 2016 and had numerous aging cracks and wasnt surprised it had blown.I told Art I was returning the car because I have stepped far down in quality without savings. He insisted Im saving big, a hundred dollars and he could take off $50 for a $150 savings but It wasnt even $100 in savings from the start. It was less. Even at a savings of $150 in a month, it wouldnt be worth it with the unsafe car! The filthy and definitely NOT Covid-19 sterile junk car from salvage. Last he offered to exchange for a new or newer car. To me that confirms just bad practice. Why didnt he give me a decent car for a decent price from the very beginning. I feel like he saw me as a sucker and tried to take advantage of me.

I didn’t end up renting because my family’s plans got cancelled but I wanted to give a shout out for great customer service to Art for taking my call late in the evening, patiently answering all questions and having good prices when every other car rental company was hiking up their prices. Thanks again.

Said after hour pickup available but wouldnt rent to us because we hadnt rented with them before which seems like a horrible business model and was very rude on the phone.

These cars are reliable & Art is great. The price is good but I wish the cars were cleaner😫.

Good clean cars to rent. Ive rented from here. Service is courteous and youll drive off in a reliable set of wheels to get your business/errands done WHILE saving a lot of money. Ill keep coming back here when the need arises.

I have used this company 3 times now and each time they were OUTSTANDING. I have never had such ease with a car rental place, not in price or in customer service.For anyone on a normal hard-working persons budget (or a fixed income) who simply need a no frills everyday car rental, (even same day), this place is FAR better than dealing with enterprise or any other big-name-er.They would also be EXCELLENT for any visitors or city folk who just want a car for a day or two to do errands or to get out to some parks.Ive personally only ever selected the lowest $ cars for when my car is in the shop, but I know they have a range of sizes and such.The cars are reliable, and clean.The staff is consistently kind, AVAILABLE, and helpful.Drop off and pick up has always easy, no hassle.

This place saved me after the big firms didnt have any cars (came without reservation) and Im so happy that happened. Good service, price was great and everything went smooth. Couldnt find a price like this in other places.

My friend rented a car to help caretake me from major abdominal surgery. She was doing a huge favor, sacrificing a lot of time and a lot of her money so that I can recover. We rented this car for medically critical appointments and travel destinations. I am still not healed, and have to be transferred to another medical facility. She has to return the car a little bit early.Giving one star because she got charged an exorbitant amount for returning the vehicle early if one pays for a month but dont use it by the end of the month; they will translate the entirety of it into a weekly rate. The weekly rate for the economy car she rented now turned into the daily rate for a premium car. Hence, she got charged extra, and the rental place can now continue renting the vehicle. What a bunch of sneaky snakes.Also, the business is not above renting you a dirty vehicle, literally, a dirty vehicle. the businesses wall is littered with Pro-Trump propaganda. Take that with what you will.

My family and I are from out of town and our car broke down Art was there to help us. This company is amazing and was our saving grace. I called him by a whim thru google and in less then 15 minutes he had a car available and ready for us. We ended up having to stay 3 days to be rescued but Art went out of his way to ensure our family was accomodated even by trying to help get our car fixed. If i could give this company a 10 star rating or more i would. Thank you for the kindness and compassion and understanding you showed our family. We were truly blessed by you and Quality Used Cars!!!

Friendly, practical, inexpensive, convenient way to get a car from the airport and to return to it, via the Marin Airporter. Highly recommendable!

Have been renting here off and on for 5+ years. At about 30% under market, you cant beat the prices, and the service is good, with pick-up and drop-off hours not seen with the big rental chains. Cars are older (thus the price discount), and dont get cleaned much (would give 5 -stars if otherwise).

Calls to give me a quote while hes on the road. Making it impossible to figure the numbers to find the cheapest way to rent a vehicle for the month. Unprofessional and idiotic.
