The Barber Andre Wiggins is Unprofessional in this Barbershop. I booked throw Booksy with him. I showed up at 9:00 am for the booking. The guy did not show at all. After calling him and texting him, he sends a text that he would not be going to work and for me to Find another barber. Time waster this guy.

Didn’t notice until half way through my hair cut. The bottom photo is from a year ago at my barber in Houston. The top photo is after visiting this shop. Guy pushed the corners on my edge up too far back. Do not visit this place. Take your hairline somewhere else. They will demolish your hair line. #1 rule for customers to barber especially in black owned barbers is DO NOT MESS UP CUSTOMERS HAIR LINE! My pictures don’t lie. This was a great choice for me, Cedric gave me a solid cut and the whole place was just a badass vibe, 25 dollar cuts is not what Im used to but I got what I wanted and a hilarious conversation between barbers and clients.I had previously gone to stay faded barbershop which was not a bad place but my barber was careless and snipped hair off the top of my head when I asked to leave it alone, he also trimmed my beard longer than I had asked for and gave a pencil thin mustache when I asks for it to be lined.Will definitely be back to movettacuts.

I knew this place would be legit. Mario and his staff are true masters of their trade. Im a skinny white dude, and when I read on their facebook page that they specialize in ethnic hair but all are welcome I wasnt sure...but though, heck, Ill give it a go since they are right across the street from the office. They mean what they say. All truly are welcome, and youll get solid service regardless of the color of your skin. The cut was on point, everyone was kind/welcoming, and the price was reasonable. The space is clean. I will certainly be back!

My son has had some very bad haircut experiences in the past. So he wanted to try a real Barber Shop. They did a great job, haircut and customer service-wise, and my son said it was the best haircut experience hes had.

This is the worst haircut i’ve had in years and it cost me $33 — $28 but for some (sketchy) reason the are cash only and I had to use their atm to pull out cash, which included a $5 fee.The guy who cut my hair was unprofessional, had a long conversation on the phone with his friend while cutting my hair. It took OVER AN HOUR, for a scissor cut on top and fade on the side. My hair was short already, this shouldn’t have taken more than 30min and that’s generous. He also kept leaving to go to the back for like 5min at a time with no explanation throughout. I wanted to get my beard trimmed too but the place was closed by the time the haircut was done, so I didn’t ask.The haircut came out awful and uneven. I’ve been wearing hats ever since.Lastly, I did not want to mention this but it was that bad and I believe it affected the result of the haircut, he smelled very strongly of *smoke* and repeatedly seemed to be dozing off, clipping the air around my hair.At the start I said worst haircut in years, scratch that, worst haircut of my life. I will not be back

Best hair cut ever

Mario is a humble owner. I came in for an edge-up today which is free, but because of a formerly bad haircut and me being tight on finances he fixed up my hair free of charge and talked to me about saving money.We had a lovely conversation about faith and God as well. He is a very soft-spoken and humble man and his barber shop shows his simplicity yet intensity and passion for what he does.And yes, I love how my hair came out. MobettaCutz is by far the best barber shop Ive been to.

I was walking downtown after a long time. Passing Mobrttacutz, Ced spoke to me about a cut. I asked him if he would cut a 4 yr old. He said yeah. I decided i should stop butchering my kids hair and get him out of the house for his first barbershop visit. I picked my kid up and we went back. Ced was great, he made my kid comfortable, spoke to him bout school, got him a superhero cape and candy. My kid hasnt stopped talking about going back. Thanks man, he was just complaining that we didnt hang out enough cause of school. I appreciate it.

Just here to give an update to pricing for those wondering. A base price for a haircut is now $25 an increase of $5. That does NOT include a beard trim or anything other than them cutting your head and maybe fading a little if you want. I respect the hustle out of the establishment but I do think personally it is over priced.Other barbers charge $20 for the same haircut and possibly include shaping up or shaving your beard with the same quality or better. For college students, which I believe gives them a lot of their business they should keep this in mind when the Fall term starts. This will give other barbers in the city a potential shot to steal more of their customers. I recommend finding a better way to add value to your service to back up your pricing.

Got a great haircut and straight edge beard trim by Mr Moe the owner. His years of experience really show. He knows what he’s doing and he’s humble about it. I’m so glad I found this place. I’m not in the area often but look forward to returning. I highly recommend this place - San Marcos is lucky to have this barbershop!

The owner, Mario, is a really good barber. Not only that, he is a great brother and mentor. I love and appreciate that he connects with so many people that walk through his shop. The college students become his mentees, getting wisdom and guidance. Its really your traditional shop thats the cornerstone of the community, not just a busines .

Hands down best barbershop in the area! Been getting my haircut here for 4years and got to see this barbershop grow and expand from one building to another because of growth and more customers. Great customer service, barbers are professional. This barbershop is where you can go to and get away from whatever you have going on in life at the moment and take your mind off of it to relax a bit. Haircuts are crisp and fresh and will have you walking out looking and feeling like a new man giving you that confidence back and have you walking with your chest out.

Got my haircut by the Hispanic lady with tattoo sleeves. Haircut is very uneven and it’s just all bad this is like the third time I’ve been there and received poor service. I got there at 7 on Saturday and expected moe to be there and she informed me that he would be out for a couple of months. She wasn’t even ready to cut hair I waited by the door for like 15 minutes after 7 before I walked in because the open sign was not on and asked if she was cutting hair anytime soon because she stayed in the back out of sight and she was like you I will cut your hair and it went downhill from there I have pictures I would love to share if I could. The owner is the only one that can provide a good quality haircut but that is what you should get from anyone of the barbers there I will find a way to post the pictures for y’all it’s bad man. I most likely won’t be going back there.

MoBettaCutz is more than just a barbershop. I always feel welcomed when entering the shop and I am immediately informed of who is available. I have had several barbers cut my hair and trim my beard at MoBettaCutz and I am always complemented by friends and family and sometimes complete strangers afterwards! There is something special about this shop and I encourage you to try them out, it could change your life! The first time I had my haircut at MoBettaCutz was in 2015, I was single and unemployed, shortly after that I was employed and I began dating the woman who I have been married to now for three years! Over the years I have been very encouraged by my visits with Mario, he has an ability to discern and helps me to understand whats going on in certain situations and I walk out of the shop with confidence and fresh vision.

I got a haircut here, and I specifically requested that my bangs were only slightly cut, a half inch at most. The barber cut off more than an inch and now I barely have any bangs. I’ll definitely be wearing a hat for the next month until it grows out again.

I got a $25 haircut that my wife could do at home. The sides are shorter than I asked and the barber missed two spots. Sloppy work.

Wasnt too confident about this place based on some of the previous reviews, but I kept seeing post on Instagram from a page abesfades and his work looked really good, so I gave it a shot. Abe defenetly delivered, he probably gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Here is my post about my horrible experience at this place. I went in for a simple haircut i got seated by a barber named T or Tee. Iwent back in there to let him know that the lining around my ears were un-even I was showing him that they really didnt look good it was noticeable not only to me but my friends as well. When talking to me T raised his voice and kept saying the following Thats the standard length, thats the standard length for that haircut. We went over and looked at the pictures on the wall and he showed me but the thing that he didnt do was let me talk he kept on getting louder and louder and not listening to ME the customer. Another barber came in i believe his name was DRE or so he greeted me and asked me what was wrong and listened to what i had to say. I wasnt expecting a different haircut or didnt go in there looking to get something free i was asking him to fix it because it looked bad really bad. T then proceeded to say Man i cut alot of heads today and no one has complained ive been doing this for a long time and im not giving you a free haircut. I DID NOT WANT A FREE HAIRCUT I WANTED IT TO BE FIXED THATS IT. I ended up leaving because the customer service of this barber was poor REALLY poor. When i left i was unchaining my bike from the post right outside the shop and i over heard T saying to all the other barbers in there that i did NOT know what i was talking about and that I was trying to get something free and how he was so tired and that he was going to start taking his client and cut out of his house. That was the last straw. I HOPE MANAGEMENT SEES THIS. I am not saying this barbershop is bad but this particular barber T is the worst one there PLEASE save your money and get seated by anyone else but that guy. Now to the barbed named T DONT EVER DISRESPECT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE FEEDING YOU WE AS CUSTOMERS PAY YOU TO DO A SERVICE AND THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A LIVING. WHY WOULD YOU DISRESPECT THE CLIENT WHO IS PUTTING FOOD ON YOUR TABLE. I only wish one of the other barbers in there would have stepped up and either calmed him down or attended me. Finally, to management please listen to the customers voice and remove this barber from your shop he is costing you money and ruining your reputation around school and the city.

Let me start off by saying this was my 2nd experience at Mobettacutz and both times i was really impressed with my cut. Dre cut my hair both times and did a bad a** job. I definitely will be returning in the future. I loved everything from customer service to the way the vibe in the shop was. I am very picky on who cuts my hair and usally go to one person in SM or do it myself but now that i know they stay open til 8pm and i get off at 6 or 630 and still have time to get a cut by a cold barber they got my business for now on. Love that there open mondays cuz thats my day off and mostly all shops are closed... So Mobettacutz thanks... shout out to DRE a professional barber!!!!!

Normally I dont do reviews but this one, I just have to. Hair was completely butchered, hairline pushed 2 inches from my natural hairline and they somehow accidentally cut a part of my eyebrow when cutting my hair. For your sake do not come here.

The guy that cut my hair messed it all up. Didnt cut it at all how I asked and I told him 3 times. He was more worried about the game and cutting the same spot for 10 minutes. Asked him to at least fix where he faded one side and not the other. He said sure and didnt do it. Id rather shave my head than be seen in public with the haircut i got.
