Talk about great service! They picked me up from the Honda Dealership around 8:30 and the driver was very pleasant with a great personality(i didnt get her name) and when i got to the Hertz rental building i was helped by Alex & he was as kind and professional as could be.Folks like this make you want to patronize the business.10 stars from me.

Wow! What an experience! I mistakenly booked at this location and needed an early drop off. They helped me to do a drop off at the airport instead. The manager, Daniel was so helpful and really worked with me to get me safely and quickly into a car. I really appreciate all the guys who helped me out here.

I received a rental through my insurance claim and was told this was my closest location. I had a great experience and was given a car that matched the size I needed for that week, a couple days later I came in to exchange my rental for a much smaller car and was given a nice whip. I was helped by the manager David, really nice man. 10/10 service. Though, The wait time can be fixed, I did have to wait an hour to receive a car.

Great team! I hadn’t rented a car, let alone a mini van, in a very long time. Aroma took time to answer all my questions and David also helped add my brother on as a second driver. Young lady that helped us check out mini-van, 4/31/21 was patient and answered all our questions regarding use of the mini-van which I had never driven. Great experience renting the Chrysler, Pacifica mini-van! Very comfy! Will come here again for future car rental needs and already referred friends/family! Keep up good work!👏🏼

Where should I start so I came in on a Friday January 22, 2021 afternoon around 3:30pm looking to rent a 4 wheel drive hope they had at least one because every other rental place already had them out for the weekend. Came in got to meet 1 of the few managers from the store his name is Aroma help me out with all my processing & great guy and very helpful with getting me into 4 wheel drive vehicle. The time of my return 1/25/2021 around 4:00pm got to meet another manager from store young women and helpful. I’m totally bring my business back to this place most definitely letting close friends to come here for rent service.

Booked a rental reservation 1 week before my trip. Called when I landed to check to see if I could be picked up, and was told no. The place was 2 miles away so it wasnt a big deal when we were told no, but I was informed that my reservation wasnt until 1 pm; I knew this as it was 11:45. Decided that since we had some time to kill we would walk there from the OAKLAND Airport instead of taking an Uber (this was not the airport location). So 20 min into our walk, git a call from the rental place advising me that they will have to cancel my reservation as they no longer had any cars. After 30 min of escalating to corporate and others they finally resolved it but being a gold member and a loyal customer for well over a decade this was unacceptable.

I ordered a full size vehicle, 4 wheel drive. When I went to pick it up, they tried to give me a mid size not 4 wheel. Then to find out they did not have a full size only mid sized. Had to take it I was leaving for my trip that day. When I returned the car which I was unable to use for what I wanted to do I was unable to due to the size of the vehicle. Then I find out they charged me for a full size. Still fighting with them over this. No one there will help me. I will never use their services again.

I was stuck in Oakland Ca. For three day look for A rental car to get back home Hertz is the only car rental that will take a Debt card im very thankful. Even on a holiday weekend could not believe the prices very cheap under $400 for a one rental 2000 miles thank you Hertz for answering 🙏

👋🏾Now i usually dont have a good experience with Hertz but the Location on Dolittle Dr gets a 👍🏾the lady that helped us was nice and professional (sorry i forgot her name tho 🤦🏽‍♀️) But good customer service the Reason I didnt give them a five ⭐ star because the covid seal was a little shaky 🤙🏾🤷🏽‍♀️so if they had 1/2s it would be4 1/2⭐😊

Great staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. My boss bought some heaters for the 2nd time online and since he lives in Idaho, I picked them up. I had 3 employees load them in my truck. Talk about great customer service. I give them 6 out of 5 stars. Thanks guys.

Love the place went in on a Saturday morning and the very nice pregnant lady help with everything thing. She was packed with a full house and was very accommodating to everyone and was very good on letting people no how long she would be. I can say for her to be there by her self and working with so many different orders she was very nice and up beat.

1. The first car smelled like weed (isnt there a no smoking policy? Oh.)2. Second car was smaller (inconvenient for my job, but whatever)3. When I got in the second car, it was raining really bad so myself or the Hertz guy didnt to much check the car out. Less than an hr later, no rain, but theres a crack in the window that I didnt notice (due to the rain & windshield wipers being on). Called. The same guy that helped me ensured me hed make a note of the crack & offered me a new car at a later time b/c at the moment thats all they had.4. Returned the car a week later. Everything is covered through my insurance so Im good. So I thought. A few days later my account is over drawn due to a charge FROM HERTZ. Of course I call. After everything being the blame. The final conclusion was I got charged... FOR A CRACKED WINDSHIELD. Ive called Corporate b/c of course, Derek the Manager is just so busy he has not contacted me back. & corporate has to wait for his response. Where does that leave me, the CUSTOMER?? I WILL NEVER rent here again.

WORST!! Rental experience ever! Please save yourself the headache. Don’t use this location. I received a car that had cigarette smoke smell. I tried to replace the car, was told they had no replacement. The following day I called because the smell was so nauseating, I was placed on hold for 20 minutes, they never returned to the phone. They purposely placed me on hold until the office closed at 12 noon. Unbelievable, that such a well known company as Hertz would treat their customers this way. SHAMEFUL!!!!

Had a reservation for a full size car. When I got there, they said that they only had Compact Cars (Either a Yaris or a Accent). I said Ill take it for now, but I need a full size car because of two kids. Rear facing carseats just do not work with compact cars. Stressed to the lady who was helping me that I needed a call when a full size car was available. This was Monday. Its now Friday and I havent gotten a call. I called and no one picks up and have to leave a message. This was just one experience. The other: I asked them to pick me up from the body shop. They told me they were on their way. Waited over an hour, no one came. I called them again and they said no one was coming. The man said they were going to send someone out, didnt even apologize. I asked when they will get to me. His response: Well get there when we get there. I was dumbfounded by his response and didnt even know what to say. I only go to this spot because the insurance company tells me to go here. I would rather go somewhere else if I have a choice.

If I read these reviews sooner and if I know its a long time waiting for pick up. I would not reserved a car in this place. Never had to wait this long for pick up rental car. Bad, bad, bad. I will never ever rent a car with Hertz anymore. If you need a car, go to Thirty or Enterprise, it cost little more but you will get your car right away.

For some reason Hertz has decided to pay Google to show all the Hertz locations instead of my address to my own house when I type in my address on Google maps. Therefore you get one star because I do not want to Rent-A-Car I want to drive home. Google maps, you suck too

The car had a tail light down, but no one cared, had to replace it myself for not getting a ticket. Rest of the car was in ok mechanical condition.The attention was cold and impersonal, but hey, youre not trying to make friends on the counter.As long as the prices are low, Ill rent again with this company.

This is the closest location to me so I often choose them but I wish they would actually get some people in there that give a damn about customer service and prioritizing. An almost 2 hour wait for a car when you have a reservation is unexceptable and even worse that I had to wait that long and didnt even get a clean car. Ended up going back 30 minutes later because the breaks were bad. The free upgrade was little consultation for the 4 hours I was pushed back on the start of my vacation. Threw the whole day off and if though I was finally even a new car (the upgrade) I was never given an apology. That wouldve gone a lot further. Here it is 4 months later and Im still upset about it.

Received help right away. Had to rent a car while car was in shop for work. Markkishia knew exactly what to do with someones other insurance paying for rental. She was the only k e working that day and did not become a xious while others arrived. She greeted and communicated woth them when they will be helped. Pleasant and stress free office!

Staff wasnt very attentive to me ! barely had any vehicals for customers and the ones that were avalible had expired tags or needed oil change or gas. i spent over 1 hour there trying to get a car that was reserved through my insurance. the communication between other staff members needs improvement. smh i wouldnt recommend anybpdy go to this location unless they had other options. i should have just stuck with enterprise. not to mention this car was being paid for by my insurance but somehow hertz charged me card almost two hundred dollas and when i called to find out why they didnt have an explination and told me they would call me back that was at 9:00am this morning and it is now 1:30pm hmmm never again ! choose them at ur own risk

This location is always low on cars or out of cars the cars are never clean in the inside, the Gas is always off the original statement not on full. I would them to be a little more friendly with their customers.
