We always use Enterprise rental car every time we go long drive. I originally go Fremont ( Stevenson’s Blvd.) which they canceled my request last minute because of no availability of vehicle that we booked which is a hassle to us. I look for another location and go to San Leandro ( Republic Ave.). The guy,Armando, is very accommodating and resourceful. We originally booked for a mini van and we end up of Suburban which is more room and comfortable since we will be driving towards Pacific West.He gave us affordable rate.It was a very smooth process not that much guests/crowd unlike the Fremont one.

They only had one car available for me to rent . So that was kind of disappointing. I have e a child and anyone who has a child knows car seats take up a lot of space . We need a roomy car. I ended up with a 4 door Toyota Tacoma pick up truck ! Sucked not having a trunk and the back seats weren’t spacious at all . I just wish we had more options to choose from .

Worst customer service. I went to pick the rental I went inside I was asked to go outside at the back and talk someone at the back. I went at the back they had nothing booked for me. I was asked to go back inside to check! Why me ? I don’t work there.. I went inside the guy at the front was super rude. Will never recommend anyone.
Had to wait over 45 mins for my car even though they called me twice to ensure I was coming in. The rep consistently told me “Sorry, it’ll be another 10 mins”. Upon receiving the car, car was filthy. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience and I wouldn’t recommend friends and family to go here.
Terrible customer service! Had a rental car through my insurance company. I had to do the usual and leave a deposit on my debit card when I first picked up car. They called me a week later to see if there was any update on my car and when it will be ready, I told them no that the car was likely to be totaled but I had rental car coverage for 30 days which they knew because they are partnered with Geico. Two days later they call again for update I tell them I haven’t heard from Geico they tell me they will reach out to Geico directly. Two days after that they hit my card with the Renata cost up to that point plus another $200!! I call the next day and they tell me they could t get ahold of Geico?!?! Not my problem. Strangely though my car rental had been extended on their end already!!!!
Justin, the San Leandro, Ca. shop manager...leads by example: He made sure I had a vehicle of my liking and cared about my experience. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. If he was busy with other duties, while I or my husband were present, he would give a verbal or nonverbal acknowledgement to let us know that he or someone would be with us shortly. As I mentioned earlier, his other employees who helped me, were fantastic as well. May only great things continue to come Justins way. Thank you, Enterprise for working with Geico,(my insurance carrier) to provide a great service in my time of need.
Enterprise this facility went to Rent a vehicle was given the card to the representative So he was able to run it you came back and said I need your pin number.. I could not believe that he would ask for a pin number this did not happen to me but happened to a friend of mine who I took their I told her she needs you call the corporate office and report him ASAP R looked at the car I found that the tire in a wheel is scraped in the front he did not mark that down on his little chart I will not mention his name but I will take it up with the management and go through the chain of command it bothers me when somebody asks you for your pin number that is a red flag the only reason why Im giving to stars is I like this facility I work in the automotive business and we use them for customers I am gonna have to talk to the owner of our facility and I will not mention our name to let him know what has been done and what they asked for a pen this is absolutely wrong
Super fast getting my rental. Only took 15 minutes! They gave me the option to upgrade, but didnt push it. I ended up going with it though since the additional price per day was a steal. The customer service was awesome! Definitely will rent from them always!

The car they rented us smelled very disgusting and had a check oil sign on it. We took it back after calling their office a couple of times with no answer. They looked at it and said ohh it has 3000 more miles til the next oil change. They talked to us as if we should know these types of things. Will not be renting here again.

UNETHICAL AND DECEITFUL....I had to get a rental after my car got broken into. I have rental car coverage with my insurance up to $35/day. From what I understand, My insurance company sent a rental car reservation request for a STANDARD vehicle but when I got there, I was being STRONGLY persuaded to take a mustang (I believe would be an exotic car category, multiple tier upgrade from what I reserved). In the end my only other choice was a SUV which I took since they dis not have a standard vehicle to offer me. This was actually a 3 TIER upgrade that I did not ask for. Instead of honoring the rate for the reserved vehicle, I was punished for the unwanted upgrade and paying additional charges. This kind of practice is unethical, dishonest and purely, bait and switch. Enterprise took advantage of my unfortunate event just to make an extra buck. When I called, I was told that there’s nothing they can do even though they were at fault. Very disappointed. Enterprise is just another deceitful conglomerate.I did give 2 stars as some of the staff here was friendly and professional and the space was clean.
I’ve always had a great experience when I rent from this location. The staff is a reflection of the manager, Brandon, who is very polite, friendly, professional & helpful. Once I observed an encounter with a difficult customer & a training staff member. Brandon was able to support to his staff member as well as the difficult customer while staying polite, professional & continue to smile. Working in the customer service field myself for over 25 years, this is not an easy task. The customer is not always right & this customer was definitely wrong. I appreciate Brandon & his staff.
Plans changed while on vacation and we needed a car to travel back home. We went to this location and we are so glad we did. Everyone was extremely helpful and so friendly. They really went out of their way to make things easy for us. I believe we were helped by Nicole, Maggie, and Brandon. Its hard to find excellent customer service these days, so it was very nice working with everyone at this location. Rented a because my own needed repair. Staff was very nice and helpful. I needed a bigger car than they first selected for me and that was no problem. They accommodated me right away. The car still needed to be washed so I had to wait for half an hour for it to be ready.
I absolutely love the helpful staff at enterprise I was AMAZED on how they make it so convenient and easy to rent a car from them, they are so nice and they work with u.
Initially things seemed good here. However during my rental period as part of a warranty claim with my car in the shop things turned into a nightmare.First, the rental that I had got broken into and when getting a new vehicle they gave me one that was not covered under the warranty agreement with the car dealership. This was the first oddity that occurred and the dealership almost wasnt going to pay for the rental as a result, quite a hassle.Next, because of the break in and subsequent theft of my backpack, laptop and several other items I carry with me on a regular basis personally and for work I was out $2500 and was at least somewhat consoled or so I thought by the fact that I had Personal Effects Coverage insurance UNTILL I found out that the maximum coverage for PEC is only a measly $650, which wont even cover half the cost of the laptop I had let alone the other items I had in my backpack. (As an aside I hadnt even left the vehicle 20 minutes and according to a witness the car literally pulled into the spot next to me, smashed the window, grabbed the bag and was gone in less than I minute. Most likely due to the out of state plates.)It was also not explained to me that the insurance costs would fall to me for the rental because my personal insurance only covers my personal vehicle and not rentals but since this was a warranty claim I was not under the impression that this cost would fall to me, resulting in a $600 expense. The agent that I spoke to in the end didnt even try to see what he could do but instead just, in not so many words, told me I was out of luck and there was nothing I could do.So in the end due to some bad luck and unclear terms Im out $2500 and under quite some emotional distress and not once was reached out to while dealing with anyone at this company in order to actually rectify the situation. Needless to say I will never be renting from Enterprise Rent-A-Car again and will be vehemently rallying against anyone I know from using them.

I walked in needed a rental, they were very rude and told me to pay $85 for 1 day rental car . I didn’t ask for any special car just needed a small car that would be affordable so I had to walk out. I think the guy’s name was rob. Never would go there or recommend them to anyone. I think the good reviews are all fake.
Just went out out that way to visit my brother. We looked for a vehicle with ample seating for 6 without spending a fortune, but were unsuccessful so we settled for a car. They surprised us with upgrade to an SUV, which made going to the beach, etc. much more enjoyable!
Customer service is top notch. I was surprised being this in San Leandro where other shops customer service is substandard at best. From the pleasant and smiley greetings the moment I entered the front door, to the same treatment when I returned my car just a day later, and 2 days short of my auto mechanics estimate. They picked me up and dropped me off, also with a smile. Very impressed, it exceeded by far my expectations. Car had 4,000 miles on it, smelled new.
Skyler was awesome. He gave me my options, he was patient and made me feel comfortable before I drove off with the rental choice. I would have given the rating a 5 star but the car I was using was loud and rattled. I appreciated the drivers who picked me up and took me home. Very nice service, I will come back again.
The prices are a bit more expensive at this location however I love the customer service here. The people that work here are all great and go out of their way to accommodate you. I have only had one bad experience and it was my own doing and was rectified quickly. I suggest this location over any other Enterprise as the customer service across all the agents is consistent and doesnt get any better!
Brandon and the entire team at the San Leandro Enterprise are awesome! Ive been renting from them for almost 6 months now and each time I get treated like family. They always meet to pick me up and take me home or to the BART station. They have great cars/rates, excellent service, and every now and then even share their office snacks when they have it. Truly 5 star service from the entire crew at San Leandro!

Had a fairly good experience when renting a car for 8 days. I decided to go with the CDW as well as the insurance just to be on the safe side.and not have to worry about anything during the rental. I was very happy with the employees were very helpful to me.
I have always liked Enterprise, however this is the best location to work with. All of the staff are nice and courteous, and make sure that you are comfortable with your car rental and always ask about their service with a smile. When I am permitted I will always support this branch!Love you guys!
The weekend rate with a mix of the week day rate is a good deal, but you need to be careful that many of the office kids only give you a verbal agreement at the counter for their discounts and when bring the car back a few days later -- that verbal agreement promised at the time of the rental is not honored.-- SO MAKE SURE you get your discounts and deals in writing. I was promised unlimited miles - but as the car was checked back in -- I had to argue with the kids to have them honor the verbal agreement. BE CAREFULalso the car was rented to me with Bad Tires and was dirty with dog hair from theprevious renter...Vince Renter

I choose to rent a car at Enterprise near my home because its convenient, but I have driven off in my rental car being still dirty in side. Tires that need to be checked better. One of the cars I rented had bad tires. Another car I rented was making a noise somewhere in the front of the car. When I rent a car I am traveling to Central Valley to LA and back. I feel they need to check these vehicles much more better before we drive off the premises. The cars get a quick wash and rerented.
I love this site, they actually care about the customer service they provide. One agent was new and messed up bringing up my reservation. The manager apologized and upgraded the car. They are all so friendly and I only like to rent from them.
Enterprise Services was inadequate in relationship to the information that was given by our insurance company for the repair and Loan of a vehicle while the vehicle was being serviced. Your representative gave us a vehicle that cost more than the service charges from the insurance company and when the return vehicle was to be brought back in we was charged an extra charge of monies that needed to be presented. We was very unhappy about the service and now we wont be using you again.

This is a small small rental facility with a limited number of cars available. I chose this site because it is just a half block away from my business location and provides easy access for pick up and return of a rented vehicle. I usually rent for three to five days to travel around California conducting training sessions which involve transporting two to three cartons of training supplies that are not easily carried on an airplane.I was not fully satisfied with two of my prior rentals because of vehicle selections that generally were very underpowered. Great gas mileage, but lousy performance and not too comfortable a ride when Im driving five to six hours one way to get to a destination.After commenting about this, my last rental was much, much better with an almost new Nissan Altima that was much better powered and very much more comfortable over the long haul. I will be renting again this week and look forward to the same type of accommodation.The staff at this location is very competent and helpful. I think they are hampered by the modest selection of cars available for their customers and some of the cars have higher mileage on them than I am used to seeing with other rental yards. Overall, a positive experience and I will continue to rent from this location
This office is filled with great people who want to. help!! What could be a huge hassle is instead enjoyable!The auto rental experience here is as opposite as you can find to the impersonal d.i.y. airport car rental franchises where you stand on line (if lucky, not a long one) do paperwork, get handed keys and told to walk to an enormous shared lot with hundreds of cars. “Proceed to Aisle A, section B” which lastvtime we did it, took twenty minutes walk time, dragging luggage and a toddler! Heaven help you if there’s a question about operating the car. Good luck finding a nearby human to answer questions.Contrast that to San Leandro Enterprise where the cars are adjacent to the office, the staff are pleasant and fun, and a real person takes you to the car and doesn’t leave until you are comfortable, know how everyting works, and have all questions answered. Car rental bliss!I’ll gladly pay a bit more for this pleasant professionalism, convenience, patience, and being transported to/from the location.Kudos to Manager Brandon Quick, and Associate Manager Ryan—two super helpful, guys !! Thanks to their team Sasha, Lynette, and Hannah (the best car gizmo explainer ever!) and Harry Waller, Jack of all Trades!They are all about personalized customer satisfaction.What a great experience! My car wasnt ready and it was not in stock. The car I settled for didnt get the gas mileage they said it would, it kept pulling to the right (bad, alot), it need an oil change hundreds of miles before I got it, I called to talk to someone about my concerns and kept getting a voicemail to talk to with no reply. Called the toll free corporate number to have nobody answer either. Great customer service initially though when I first arrived and then dropped off!

I reserved a truck for a weekend trip when I arrived at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in San Leandro customer service was excellent I was in and out in 15 minutes when I return the vehicle it took about 5 minutes excellent customer service I have been a customer of enterprise for 6 years I have never been disappointed.
I booked a vehicle the Friday before and they said just call a half hour before you need to be picked up to get your rental car. I called before I left my house to let them know. I was over an hour at the shop where I was dropping off my car when the lady at the shop called to let them know I was still there and they hadnt sent anyone to get me yet. They finally came and the person who picked me up was very nice. They said I was going to get a shop discount... evidently their shop discount is $45.00 a day since they are charging me $90 for two days. I guess if you have your car at the shop they charge double...idk...

If I could give them no 🌟 I would! First off my husband and I were there on business dropping off a Penske Truck and the company that gets us the runs reserved a vehicle from here to go to Bakersfield, CA. When we were picked up the driver had a sour look on his face and was already in a foul mood saying hes in a hurry because he had to be at some place. Then when we got there, my husband went to get the car they said he had to have a card on file and he asked why because the company gets billed for it then they take it out of his pay. They went on about that a while. Then I noticed how the employees were dressed. They werent professionally dressed. They were sagging their pants and gave people who had gotten there after us their vehicles and even upgraded them at no extra charge. Now I see why! When they came over for my husband to sign the contract, they were charging us 2 days instead of one! We only needed it for one! They said when we dropped it off it would go back to the price we were given on line because we were getting it early. So we said okay. Went to the car and it was still dirty on the inside. They only washed the outside and air freshener bombed it. Thats all. Well when we went to drop it off, they said this place was supposed to change the drop off time before we were checked in in order for the price to be changed. They said we had to call this place back to have them change the price. We did and they said they would. We called them again today and they said they did and we asked for a revised receipt and they were saying they couldnt because it was the company card and we told them we need it because we have to send it in with our paperwork and needed it for our tax purposes because we pay for it. They finally said okay we will email you the information. They emailed us the old receipt not the revised one! We will never rent from this location ever again! Not to mention how we were treated like we didnt matter ( were white and the other customers were black that came in after us and gotten upgrades. I mean not just one set but 4 sets of people given vehicles before us and free upgrades even though we were there first. And the people working there were black, not a single white, Hispanic, nor Oriental person there. Thats when I realized we were being descriminated against. Tell me this, if you dont like being descriminated against, why do you descriminate? I was always told treat others the way you want to be treated!

Brandon was working on a very busy day. They got bombarded. He acknowledged me every time he walked in the door and said they would get to me and I felt like I mattered. My parents were in town and I was late and just so stressed. I was just trying not to be rude or demanding as we all can be at times. Brandon broke his service to me in chunks. He multi-tasked. He actually helped 3 people at once in this manner and they were all happy.When Brandon showed me to the full size car I ordered it was actually a upgrade but to a HUGE SUV. Free. Maybe they had extra cars, I dont know. But he didnt have to do that. He also told me to bring the car back with 1/2 tank instead of 3/4.I have never liked enterprise. Every other time I have been it has been lame. I was always just a number or a person at the DMV. But this time was different. I better not find out Brandon gets in trouble for being generous because I have a new perspective on the company. Next time I rent it will be from Enterprise and it is because of him. Everything else about the company is kinda just ok. I would promote the guy. I work in tech and hope to start my own company in a few years (like everyone else in the bay). I doubt I could ever afford Brandon but if I could Id hire him for executive management. He just gets it.Personally I think he is way to talented and personable to be working at Enterprise. He should be business development at Uber. Thanks man. My family was super comfortable in the car and my mom was very thankful. You made me look like a better son than I really am!
