Alex at the customer service(return desk) moved me tremendously !I drove to the store to return some stuff this late evening around 9pm. After I unloaded the items from my car, I locked the door, and then I remembered that the key and phone were locked inside. A nice gentleman helped me to call my husband, but he didnt answer the phone. My husband usually sleep very early and phone always away from him. So I pushed the cart with the return items to the customer service desk. Since my receipts were locked in the car as well, I told the staff at the desk my situation and asked if someone could help me. Alex - a tall young man handed me his cell phone and said: I called Lyft for you, please enter your address here. I realized that he paid the fare for me and said immediately: “I will pay you back when I get my car key and come back. Its not a big deal. Please dont worry! He comforted me. Then I asked: May I have your name? At least let me write a review about you. Its really not a big deal. He insisted. I tried to find his name on his orange apron, and finally saw the name ALEX.Thank you so much, Alex, youre such a wonderful person!!Since you wouldnt let me pay you back the Lyft fare. I told the driver how you helped me and gave him $20 in cash. I said to him: This $20 was from you, I just passed him on the warmth and help you had given to me. He smiled and thanked me.Dear Alex, this world is beautiful - because of people like you!

Home Depot continues to decline with respect to the knowledge of their personnel. 9 out of 10 times they give me incorrect information on an online order or return.I paid a $50 down payment to get a quote for tile installation. The group or company assigned to do the estimate rescheduled 3 times, finally saying that they didnt perform that service and sent me back to Home Depot to fix the error. Went back to the tile department where the order was placed and they said I had to go to the customer service desk for a refund. The people at the customer service desk said I had to call the corporate desk and gave me a number. I called and they said the refund couldnt be processed over the phone and sent me back to the customer service desk. Back at the customer service desk I got the same run around so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager didnt know how to handle it, either. Called the number they gave right there at the desk and the two sides disagreed as to how it was to be handled. REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND, saying it had been too long (no matter that all the delays were on their side). Will never go to home depot for ANY service again.
