My experience was good. But most of all theres an employee there,he was very helpful and patient with me. His name is Garfield. He also has a sense of humour. Who knew going to the landfill would be a good experience. But it was. Thank you.

Very organized and the cleanest dump Ive ever visited!

Horrible Horrible experience. They dont weigh anymore in unless you have an account. I had a 6x12 dump trailer. They charged me $227.00. It was mostly fluff. I know for a fact it was less than a ton. Talk about strong arming you.

The facility is nice but their rates are very high. The base price for mixed waste is only two dollars more than Zanker but they charged an additional $20 in fees plus $3 for a safety vest. Ive never been to any other landfill which insisted that I wear a safety vest in addition to my orange flannel.Lastly the scale house attendant said they would take an item which the employee at the dump location rejected.Total price to dump one yard of mixed trash: $61.16

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, if your a regular youll get to know the scale house staff.

If I can give them no star I would. They were very unprofessional. Waited in line to dump my garbage and they turned my way because I did not have a lift gate to drop my garbage. Looking at the people ahead of me they had normal trucks, cars and no lift. Not coming back here. And dont recommend the place to anyone.

For what its worth - a review of the dump - Guadalupe landfill isnt cheap. Not sure if thats because they are the only landfill on the west side of the valley or if thats what the going rate is. It is senic as far as landfills go and convienent if youre working within 5 miles - but prepare to pay. I want to say the minimum youll pay is $42 - but the rates change often and they only go up.As for their rockery and landscape department - again - the price is on the high side and theres seldom anyone manning the office.
