I have used Viking Appliance Repair San Jose times for various appliance repairs in my rental properties. I have always had Andrew and after the first couple times always request him. Im even willing to wait for him - I trust him that much. You have the feeling in talking with him about the problem that he is going to treat the situation as he would if it was happening at his own house. Im sure they have other qualified technicians to service their customers - but if they are all like Andrew - they are great, great, great.
Ben was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He was on time and worked to diagnose the problem. He was able to get the necessary part quickly and fixed my washing machine for the amount he quoted. I will call Viking Appliance Repair San Jose again when I need any other appliances repaired and I will definitely recommend him to my friends.
When appliances stop working, its never a fun situation. You start wondering how much its going to cost to get it fixed or replace it. With the counsel of my sister and fiancé, I decided to look around for someone to repair my dryer. I used search to help me find Jack and Im glad I did. Other repair folks were either rude or didnt return my call. Jack returned my call promptly, came out, and fixed my dryer the same day. His prices are reasonable, hes fast and friendly and offers a 90 day warranty on his work. I would highly recommend him.
Thanks Sunny for sending Nick to diagnose our fridge. The service call was quick and efficient. Nick was able to pinpoint the issue and let me know exactly what happened and what the long term outcome would look like even with a repair. Appreciate the genuine honesty and would recommend Viking Appliance Repair San Jose to anyone looking to get their major appliances fixed.
Not that he needs any more glowing reviews, but here goes.My Viking fridge conked out . Based on his great reviews, I called Viking Appliance Repair San Jose. Eddie answered right away and came over later that day, at the time he said he would. He was courteous enough to inform me that should the repair take longer than a day, he wouldnt be working for a few days over the covid-19, and if that would be a problem, then perhaps I should call someone else. I really appreciated his honesty. He put on a temporary relay (whatever that is), informing me that it was a stop-gap measure that may or may not work, but could hold me over until the real repair was done. He charged me about $100 for call and $200 for the repair.Well, the next day, the fridge was still not working. I called, Eddie answered and came over within the hour. He said that the problem was a bigger one that he couldnt repair and spent an unhurried 15-20 minutes with me discussing my options (buy a used fridge, buy a new fridge, attempt to repair this fridge) and the pros and cons of each. Then, since the temp fix hed put on didnt work, he....wait for it...GAVE ME BACK $200 CASH!! Have you ever?? The repairman he referred me to worked out perfectly, obviously cut from the same rare honest-repairman cloth as Eddie, and my fridge is now up and running, humming merrily along. So, 5 stars for someone who didnt repair my fridge? Yes. He was prompt, courteous, patient, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend him.By the way, AVOID the authorized service providers that the manufacturers for some awful reason, recommend. They are usually terrible. Read the Yelp or Google reviews and believe them. Save yourself the grief.
