Restaurants depot has been so good every time.

The guy at the receiving on 03.17.2021 at around 1800 was awesome. I had arrived about 15 hours prior to my delivery, and he was kind enough to not only take the time to talk to me, but to tell me what my options were and where to park. Within 3 hours I was unloaded.

Great warehouse for supplies!Warehouse could use a good selection of candy like its sister warehouse in Oakland.Good staff!

They need to have more cashiers some times takes Like on hour pay out or maybe if they add a express líne some customer they have just few ítems

Hard to back into dont come early wont take you theyll say they will but wont all the local drivers get in and out fine OTR drivers stay for hours just waiting to unload 😒🤥

As always a well stocked and clean place. Customer service was on point today. Maybe a little bit of a wait for check-out but better safe than sorry.

I came here because I find the products of good quality and reasonable prices. Very thankful that now, they have opened it temporarily to public and has been coming here for a few times now. But today was a total disaster. They had a sign on one of their cart display for terry cloth towels for $5.99 special and I grabbed a couple of them. Upon checkout I realized that it was ringing up at $10+. I didn’t want to confuse the cashier so I decided to finish the check out. Upon getting my reciept, I noticed that I was indeed charged for $10+ for the towels. I told the checker and I was sent to the front reception. The front reception lady asked me to get the sign that I was talking aboir. So I went and ripped it off the cart where all the terry cloth towels were displayed and brought it to her. Upon checking the computer she found out that it was put on the wrong display. She then radioed and told the person on the other end about the situation. After a few minutes there was this guy rushing to the reception area saying “NO you can’t change the price, if they don’t want it they can return it” please note that I have not demanded for anything at this time this is them finding out that they actually messed up on putting up the display. So I then talked to the guy and told him that the sign was from the cart where all the terry clothes just like the one I got was displayed. And he then told me “it was a split display mam” like I’m suppose to understand what he’s talking about. But please correct me if I’m wrong that a split display is 2 displays of the same item so it will have the same price tag which is not the case because they had the price tag. On two different products. I then proceeded to ask his name and he told me his name is Miguel no apologies whatsoever. He then changed his demeanor when I asked him of the general manager’s card which he adamantly gave me. And went and left to check on their display a refund was processed for me. He then came up to me while I was heading out and showed me which product is $5.99. Bottomline here is in most stores I’ve been to they would honor the price displayed whether it was wrongly put up and APOLOGIZE....this such a poor display of customer service...I hope the upper management will look into this matter because this is quite disturbing...

The campers and homeless got moved down the street, but everyone that can park across the street does so. The place cant respect appointments even though they have an extra door they keep open for late appointments....yes, thats right. If youre on time with no other doors open, you get told to leave and have to fend for yourself for a parking spot in the middle of 2020s San Francisco. If youre late, they have a door waiting.

No parking for truck drivers the receiving guy, he is so RUDE, doesn’t know how to behave with drivers..

Decent selection of items, prices are good, but man from Management down, this place is amateur hour. Called one time to see if an out of stock item was restocked, was told yes, showed up after braving SF traffic, and you guessed it, item was still out of stock. Not the first time Ive been fooled by taking an employee at their word.Check out lines are a disaster too, honestly if there was anywhere else that carried a decent selection of items we would never step food in Depot again.

Good place to buy bulk And also helps small business but the problem is how the cashier lines are handling the flow of traffic for example today only 4 lines one of them stopped working so we had to move to another line Wich means more delay we you carrying meat while in the line this guy comes with 5 carts full and starts his own line on closed register and out of no where this cashier comes and opens for him both spoke same language,we all looked at each other is this possible (Restaurant Depot is a great place to shop but you need to work on customer service you know there is a lots of options out there we get lots of offers from others ) you need to work on your check out lines speed up the process please you got the good stuff make sure you get the good well trained staff.. thank you

They have all the products needed for most restaurants. I prefer restaurant depot over any other wholesale club/store. During peak hours though checkout is a nightmare. They really need to update their registers and make exiting the store less time consuming. Many times I spend more time in line waiting to check out than the actual shopping. An express lane would also be appreciated for people with 10 or less items.

The worst management in any business..a lot of of employees smell like they just smoked their weed on their lunch time, just look at their eyes it will tell the whole story, only a few employees are nice.The management have no clue about anything in that place, products are missing of the shelves for weeks at a time, the company they hired to deliver is twice as bad...looking for alternative to get my products without going there.

Horrible place to deliver. The docks are tight and on a busy road. I arrived 4 hours early and parked outside, as there is over night allowed on Evans, for a 1230 appointment. I checked in and was told Id have to sit while they verify PO#s. Six hours later, I was told by another employee that was never the issue, they simply didnt have space for 11 pallets. All in all, I spent 12 hours here, and was late to my next pickup. Would not recommend.

Not a restaurant, but rather a restaurant supply depot. If I happen to be nearby I love to go in and browse and fantasize about owning a thousand pound deep fryer or hot dog machine.

I patronized this business probably four or five times a week. I have been using their services for almost 12 years. This company has had some serious ups and downs. At the current time things are looking up. A couple of new managers are making a big difference in the positive direction.

Quick to get you unloaded, very limited on street parking you have to back into the dock from the street which would not be bad except for all of the disabled RV’s parked on the street with people living in them.

Employees are rude, poorly trained, bad attitudes. Even management. On repeated occasions I’ve asked for things just for them to lie straight to my face with an attitude. Just today, we asked for an individual beef tenderloin. The meat guy said we have to go to the front for that. So we asked the manager in the front who insisted they don’t sell them individually. Only by the case and was adamant about that. Low and behold, not 10 feet away, there was an entire open face cooler with about 100 tenderloins all for individual sale. They even had signs and a display with a mini TV playing a video about their tenderloins. It’s been set up like that for months. THE MANAGER didn’t even know what they were talking about but could not have been more certain that she was right. She must have walked by that set up a thousand times!! Lol She said, “well the meat guy must be new cause we definitely don’t sell them that way.” Also, the product we did buy here on a regular basis is often damaged from improper handling so we now pay double to not have to deal with REstaurant depot and it’s just a better product. Worth every penny.We try to avoid coming here at all cost and much prefer Costco, food distributors, and ordering materials online.

This place is awesome. It doesnt have the glitz and glamour of costco but the prices and selection are amazing. It has everything you need to make pretty much anything. Come here if you want real savings.

Normally a great experience but the guy in the meat dept yelled at me and almost called me an idiot and never said thank you. All I wanted was some meat weighed...

Warehouse workers are rude, backing into docks from a busy street sucks. Can’t even park in front of the docks to wait because of all the homeless living in their RVs This is the worst delivery I’ve ever done.

Im a truck driver and I came here to deliver load here... i had 4 drops of 4 to 5 pallets at each drop. first 3 drops were very good they unload me fast... i came to 4th drop at 10:00am and found out my appointment is 6pm i requested them to unload the trailer because i been out of the house for 10 days and i want to go home to my family and rest the man i requested said no he can not unload me and he dont care about my request. That was very rude im mean it it was very rude they r dirty....... and there warehouse was very dirty to....... i just went in side at 4:15pm to request them to unload me this time there was different receiver he was very rude too and said he dont care if i been here since 10:00am

If you are a truck driver just try to avoid this place.i had an appointment at 15:30. I was there since 10:00 and they finally unloaded me at 5:30 after I have to fight with the Mexican boy with the bad attitude at the receiving department.

Whse people are UN-FRIENDLY to Delivery drivers. They dont even have the minimum safety standards for big rigs. Dangerous place to be!

Wait time is ridiculous. Staff takes their time generally but my cashier was talking and swearing on her phone while ringing people up.

Terrible Customer service, they dont answer their phone! Cant find out when seafood deliveries are received.
