Fantastic. My spa experience was everything I hoped it would be. International Orange San Francisco has a great spa menu with great treatment options. The spa itself is huge (unlike most other SF spas) but really inviting and relaxing. The waiting area was my favorite.

My favorite place to unwind! The deep tissue massage is the best. Monk is my favorite, but my experiences with other practitioners have been great as well. Their facials are also fantastic. The spa is warm, cozy, and just awesome.Im looking forward to trying the yoga classes as well!

I love this place. I go their mostly for massage, and the therapists are great. The showers have awesome pressure. If youre getting a massage, they have delicious dried apricots and dark chocolate in the lounge area with a cozy fire place. For warmer days, you can sit outside on their deck. I think its a great place to unwind.

International Orange is a lovely, natural spa. I really enjoy the yoga classes here. The yoga space is beautiful and I find the instructors to be especially calming and helpful. I recently had my first massage here with Scott. He was extremely professional, thorough, and paid close attention to the areas I mentioned needed most attention. Ill definitely always be back for yoga, another massage, and am especially excited to try a facial!

IO is my happy place. Best massages and facials Ive had in the city or anywhere. And theyre reasonably priced all things considered! You DEFINITELY get your moneys worth. Its also my go-to yoga studio. An inviting and relaxing space with great classes and attentive instructors. Whether Im leaving IO after a service or a class (or both), Im always feeling happier and more relaxed than when I arrived.

Ive been to IO twice, once for a 60 minute Swedish massage and more recently for a 60 minute deep tissue massage. From the minute I walked in the door, I was treated to an incredible experience. The staff was very friendly, and the combination of the flavored waters, teas, chocolate, and the sun deck made relaxing prior to the massage very easy. Once in the room, the masseuse made sure to figure out what problem areas I was experiencing, and focused on those throughout the massage. The rooms are very serene and allow complete relaxation. I dont think Ill be visiting anywhere else for my next massage, as IO has provided incredible experiences for me thus far.

I have been to IO several times, and had an amazing experience every time. The staff is friendly and professional. I love the steam sauna, and the relaxing atmosphere. I had the most incredible 90 minute massage at International Orange. It is truly a little sanctuary in the city. I made sure to follow the advice of the receptionist and arrived early to steam and relax before my massage started. It really helped provide the full spa experience. My massage therapist was amazing and provided great advice for follow-up care. He even wrote down the roller i should use for my IT bands.Overall, the entire experience was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend International Orange to any friends or family members looking for a quality spa / massage experience.

We went today for our second couples massage with Serendipity. We were scheduled with Arrion and Earl, and they were both incredible. Very kind and very attentive. Well be back!

IO was amazing! Waiting area was tranquil and lovely. The lush outside patio made it hard to believe you were in the city. The hot tea and chopped pieces of dark chocolate was such a nice touch and helped immediately put me in the right mindset. I received a 75 minute facial and it was outstanding. Only complaint is that it went by too fast! Thanks IO :)

What a treat to get a mini vacation at International Orange. My husband has it easy and knows what to get me for birthdays and other events - a gift card to IO! IO is such a relaxing and rejuvenating environment. Every treatment I have ever had was fabulous, from stress melting massages, to age reversing facials, they have always been top notch. Be sure to give yourself extra time to enjoy lounging in the patio and eating chocolates before, and enjoying the steam room after! Youll feel like you vacationed for a week!

I have been going to other places for years but finally tried IO and am going to have a tough time ever going anywhere else for massage. It is truly relaxing and unlike most of SF, not sketchy in any small way. I am not telling who my favorite practitioner is because I want her to myself! Try it, you will love it. Peace

This is my favorite spa/yoga studio in the city, hands down. The spa is clean and minimal, very calming, and super adorable! But most importantly, the masseuses are all consistently skilled and amazing! Ive been to many other studios in the city, this is the only studio I could confidently say that no matter who you get, you will receive a quality massage! Their lovely smelling products are just another lovely addition!

I cannot say enough great things about IO. I have been coming here for years for facials, massages and other beauty treatments and I have never had a bad experience. Most recently I took a friend here for a girls spa day and it was amazing. My masseuse was amazing - perfect amount of pressure just the right amount of questions. I left (begrudgingly) feeling so calm and relaxed. Definitely something you need to work into your monthly routine. Oh the other thing that I love, the way the entire place smells...clean, natural and overwhelmingly peaceful.

Update 9/15/14 - I started getting waxing done, and have been thrilled with the results, my brows look amazing and the Bikini waxes last for weeks! Surprised by the great reviews—it’s definitely an average spa. Very clean but extremely cramped. Tiny little sauna built for one or two. The outdoor lounge space is also pretty small and very hot without much shade on a nice afternoon. My masseuse was nice but arrived late and kind of mailed it in. I could hear talking and noise from the hallway during my massage because again it’s very small. They no longer do yoga here. Why is the retail space bigger than the waiting area??

I have been to International Orange for years now and absolutely LOVE the experience every time! I have done many facials and they always leave me coming back for more because I love the way my face looks after! Also, I have done a variety of massages (prenatal included) and have been happy with the experience. The locker room is very clean and the waiting room in peaceful and inviting. My Mom and I came when she was in town and still talks about the experience :)

After discovering International Orange on Goop and realizing that it was only blocks from my apartment I had to schedule a massage. I enjoyed a cup of tea while waiting for massage. My massage was great I scheduled a Swedish which I realized I had wanted a deep tissue but my masseuse was incredibly apathetic and switched to deep tissue. I then enjoyed the steam room and felt incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated for the day! I will surely be going back and highly recommend going.

I absolutely love International Orange. I typically come here for massages - it is such a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. All of the massage therapists are fantastic, the atmosphere in the spa is quiet and relaxing, and you have the added benefit of using the sauna or steam room when youre through. I cant speak for their yoga classes, but their massages are fairly priced and they almost always have availability. Highly recommend IO!

Literally the best facial Ive ever had. Not only was the atmosphere so relaxing, calm and clean, the actual facial was amazing too. My skin was glowing for days after. My skin is really sensitive so Im always a bit hesitant to get a facial or put new products on my skin. But the product IO uses are top of the line and are very gentle. I even purchased some of them after to keep up the glow for as long as I could. Thank you IO for such an amazing experience!

Soooooo beautiful! It is my favorite place to practice yoga in the city. Lots of individual attention, very clean and kind powerful teachers. I had an amazing massage that knocked some stuff loose from last year! The lounge is beautiful and the sauna hit the spot. I was in complete bliss when I left.

I am always beyond relaxed when I visit International Orange. My favorite combination is an IO Massage + an Aromatic Scalp Treatment, followed by a steam and then a few extra relaxing minutes out on the deck if there is some San Francisco sunshine to be enjoyed. The staff is pleasant and helpful and I have had nothing but great experiences at International Orange. Its a great retreat in the adorable Fillmore neighborhood- highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE the Fillmore location. I have not yet been to the Marin spa, but Im sure its equally fabulous. I have the deluxe monthly facial membership and exclusively visit Alexis Klein. I have followed her from spa to spa and she is a delight. Her knowledge on skincare, holistic practices and overall professionalism mixed with her vibrant personality makes her an asset to any place she works. I remember my first visit to the IO this year. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! The staff was very kind & gracious. Comfy robes, soft towels and sandals were waiting in the locker room. Clients were invited to use the sauna. The atmosphere was very peaceful and calm. As for the one hour massage, it was so relaxing that I didnt want it to end.

Ive been going to IO for years and its in my top places to get a facial in SF! Their enzyme facial fixes my somewhat problematic skin every time. I look flawless for a month. I also love the products Ive picked up from here. The whole staff is super knowledgeable about skin and Ive probably seen about 10 different estheticians and never disliked any of them. They hire great people.The best part is at the end you receive a card that gives you a free yoga class worth $14 or 10% of a product or new service. I LOVE my free yoga class. Cant beat it!

Treated myself to a massage here a little while back, and loved it so much I signed up for a monthly membership. The staff at International Orange couldnt be more helpful, and the setting is cozy and tranquil without having that sometimes-fussy spa feel. Taking time out of the week to treat myself started off as an indulgence, but now it seems more like a necessary investment in my well-being. Im thankful to IO for helping me realize that!

IO Spa is the best spa that Ive ever been to, in my life. Its the kind of place that I want to keep a secret but also want to share because it is so wonderful.It is a very well-thought-out spa, and its all the little touches that say the most. They keep the spaces warm, quiet, and peaceful, and provide everything you need to make the time there special and relaxing: soft robes, slippers, plenty of towels, lockers with keys, showers, water/tea, chocolate, and dried apricots. You feel like you are on a retreat when you step inside, and I have always felt way more relaxed after going there.

Until recently my absolute FAVORITE yoga teacher of all time worked here... *sigh* we will see if their other yoga instructors are close to as good in the coming months :) Ive NEVER had a bad massage here, no matter who it is scheduled with, they are always delightful. I especially like the versions with hot stones and/or deep tissue. The last one I got included a scalp treatment which was really lovely as well! Their steam room and (wind-protected and often sunny!) backyard patio is a wonderful extra touch before/after your treatment... Ive been coming to IO since it opened. Hands down, this is still the most luxurious, feel good place to get a facial (or massage or enjoy a yoga class as well!) in all of San Francisco. I love that they use such high quality products, there is no fluff and frouf like at a lot of high end beauty spas. This is the real deal :)

IO is a hidden gem tucked away on Fillmore. I came here recently for a pre-natal massage and it...was....fabulous! One of the best massages Ive had since moving to the Bay Area. My massage therapist, Michelle, was a total pro and I left feeling totally relaxed and light on my feet...the latter of which hasnt happened in quite a few months! I definitely plan to come back as soon as possible.

Theres nothing like taking a mental health day from work, and spending half of it at International Orange. After relaxing in the steam room, I wrap myself up in a soft robe and unwind with a magazine and some dark chocolate on their sun deck. Im a details girl, and the details here are luxe: lovely smelling shower stuff; tasty treats like dried fruit and chocolate; hot spiced tea; succulents on the deck.Monk is my go to massage therapist. I usually prefer deep pressure (almost painful) massages, but my sessions with Monk have loosened me up even more than the deepest deep-tissue. I think he might have magic fingers...

International Orange is both zen spa and yoga facility, the perfect 1-2 knockout for tired, achy blues. Loving the relaxation area and outdoor deck. Its the perfect, boutique spa. My massage there was all sorts of amazing and the yoga classes are spectacular.

Ive been for both yoga and a facial and love the serene space - especially being right in the middle of everything. Now when I come for yoga I feel like Im getting a massage and when Im in the spa I feel like Ive gotten my yoga-zen-on. The level 2 vinyasa classes Ive attended are top notch, love the teachers.

Mens locker room/shower a little small, but overall a great spa experience in SF. Been here twice now, one for a 90minute signature massage and a 90 deep tissue, you definitely have to tell the therapists what you need/want but everyone is super friendly. Great atmosphere.

I go here for massages and facials. More relaxing and spa-like than other places I have been in SF. I also trusted them with my brows and they did well! Its a little pricey so I check for deals.

LOVE International Orange. Their facility is very serene and relaxing. I attend IO for facials and so far am more than pleased. I have problem skin and they are sure to tailor my treatments to my skins needs. I have gotten a lot of facials elsewhere in the past and always ended up with breakouts a day or two later, and that has yet to happen here! They are sure to ask me thorough questions about skin irritants so I leave happy. They dont push products on you, but tell you what they are using if you are interested in purchasing them (I have actually purchased a few of them and love the products they carry, too). They are great, cant wait for my next facial :)

IO is my go-to place when Im in need of a top quality massage. They hire some of the best people Ive met who are able to tackle my biking and running induced knots.I usually book end steam showers around my massages, and if weather and time allow, spend some time on the deck out back afterwards. Its usually during this time that I find myself gorging on the chocolate, nuts and water they provide.Every massage has always been an adventure in relaxation. I have found that all the massage therapists are respectful of different levels of pressure and accommodate accordingly.After writing this review, I think I need to go book another massage here.

Ive been going to International Orange since their very first few weeks in San Francisco. One of the best things about it is that the quality has not changed in all that time. I was first attracted to it because of the name. I thought any place that called itself after the paint color of the Golden Gate Bridge would be elegant, like the bridge itself, and I was right. The studio itself is beautiful, soothing, and very relaxing. Simply put, it has a great vibe, and thats why I continue to go there.One of the best things about International Orange is that they have a variety of yoga instructors to fit your needs. I began going because I had just had a baby and I wanted to do yoga to relax and get away from the demands of nursing. I2 years later, my needs have changed: I go because I need to build more strength and flexibility. Their instructors are all well informed and helpful. They mostly do a nice mix of prana and vinyasa - theyre not too yogi, and not too strenuous. I like the music they play during practice - it blocks out the noise of Fillmore Street and is always appropriate. They have a variety of hours and types of instructors to suit your needs; I suggest you try out different times and teachers to find out what works best for your practice.I sometimes use the International Orange masseuses and spa as well, and they are also excellent. I can highly recommend this facility!

My first visit to IO was for an eyebrow wax, and the experience was so relaxing I almost fell asleep on the table...during a wax! I was hooked after that.The atmosphere at IO is the most peaceful and inviting one Ive experienced in SF. The lighting, decor, clean smells and music all contribute to a wonderful visit. The staff is extremely knowledgable about what works best on my skin and suggests other products based on my needs. Recently, Ive started to practicing yoga here as well. The instructors are very informative and approachable. I wish I could afford monthly massage appointments because I would be here more often. Til then, Ill keep coming back as much as I can!

I love this spa and go there for a deep tissue massage whenever I am needing some major R&R. The ambiance is zen and I especially love the back patio. The apricots and chocolate are a nice touch in the waiting room.

I wont go anywhere else for a facial. I recently experienced a really bad breakout when I switched to natural skincare products. I had decided to make an appt. for an acne facial at IO and it turns out it was the best thing I did for my skin. The service was awesome. My aesthetician not only gave me a wonderful facial but she really cared about what i was putting on my skin. In my previous spa experience I have always fallen victim to buying a ton of products that were recommended after my aesthetician. At IO my aesthetician didnt try and convince me to buy a ton of products. She wanted to help me care for my skin by using the least of amount of product. My skin is finally on the mend. Thanks IO!

I have practiced yoga for over 10 years now, and I must say Im a picky yogui. I like to practice in a nice, silent, clean ambient, with excellent teachers. And I like traditional yoga (either hatha, ashtanga, Iyengar or vinyasa. dont give me heated rooms or pilates-like-yoga).When I arrived to San Francisco a year and a half ago, I signed up at International Orange because of its reviews. I thought the place was nice, and its not far from home. I tried almost every teacher, and even though I liked some of them, I didnt like others. So when I was short on budget, I looked for other places to practice. I tried several, some of them right next to my house. Others that were way cheaper. And I always came back to IO. Even though I dont like some classes (specially the ones that are more pilates-like), I LOOOOOOVE the one that I go to (my must-try are: Lindsays, Maries, Kevins, and Allies). This teachers are really committed to ones practice, they gently correct the postures (so I feel like Im always learning), every now and then they make some time to practice prannayamas, and you can really tell they know what they are doing. Plus, the place is fabulous, and the staff is always welcoming. And you might say Im snob because I give such a big importance to the ambience. But I do think it helps to practice in a place where you feel you can disconnect from the outer world from the moment you walk in, because it is nice and silent.So even though I never write reviews, I definitely needed to write this one because IO worth it. To me IO worth 5 stars and more.P.S: Some of my friends do like the pilates-yoga mix, and they love the classes that I dont at IO. So if you just want a workout, this certainly can be your place too.P.S.2:Feel like indulging your self? then try IOs Spa. Indescriptible good.
