Samantha is truly an artist. I have long dark virgin hair, and really wanted the balayage but was nervous. I wanted natural but noticeable, blondish but not brassy, and well blended. Sam took the time to talk to me, look over all of my inspiration pictures, and talked to me honestly about all possible scenarios since hair color is never a guarantee. She explained the color process that no one else ever has to me! How all dark hair goes through the brassy tones, and needs to go lighter and then get toned back up to get the ashy brown colors. I trusted her and I have never been so happy with a hair appointment. She hand paints her balayage with a gentle lightener so my hair doesnt feel brittle or dry, and its beautifully blended. Couldnt be happier. The salon is beautiful but Samantha makes it amazing!

Everyone that greeted me was very pleasant and efficient. Vivian was my nail technician and gave me one of the finest pedicures Ive ever her had. Other patrons seemed to be very content with their experiences as well. I highly recommend this salon.

I saw Danielle, who was soo kind and gentle, for partial highlights/lowlights, a protein conditioning treatment, and a haircut/style. We fully talked through the changes I wanted to see with my blonde hair, and the end result was perfect! She reduced the harsh brown/blonde contrast from my root grow-in and added dimensionality. I couldn’t be happier and it was the best pick-me-up in quarantine. By the way, they take your temperature and everyone is wearing masks. Any shared spaces (rinsing basin chairs) were immediately sanitized by my stylist after I used them. Ask for Danielle, she is the sweetest!!

I come back here again and again, I love it! Most recently I had my hair cut by Kayla Van Skyhawk, who did a great job. Super young, fresh cut! Very professional, very well priced, a pleasure to visit, and they do a fantastic job.

This salon does not adhere to a Zero Tolerance policy. After being confronted by an employee affected by the lack of policy-- they did not respond for an unprofessional amount of time. Now, under apparently new management, they have reached out with a flimsy policy with no backbone and a bunch of corporate speak. I will be spreading the word about this in SF and SJ until there is a clear written policy to keep employees safe and treated well.

Amelia is the best! After a year of searching for a stylist, I was finally recommended Cinta, where I’ve stayed for the past year. Amelia always works with me to get exactly what I want, and she has a great eye in making suggestions. Not only does she do a fantastic job, I always have a great time chatting with her throughout my appointment.The salon itself is beautiful and the whole staff is friendly and accommodating. I always feel like a million bucks whenever I leave!

Coco did my hair it was amazing. I am a woman of color and got a cut to my curly hair that was awesome. He also gave me a side undercut with a fade and a really tight line up. I got so many compliments after I left. When I walked in I was surprised that the place was pretty large with about 12 chairs. The stylist took my jacket served me tea and got to work. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

It’s been ages since I have gotten my hair done. It just so happened that I started working again in the City. Was headed to Patrick Salon for a haircut but they forgot to book my appointment and I ended up walking to Cinta and they took me in last minute. Everyone was genuinely nice and friendly. Felt very welcomed and they offered me drinks.Charles worked on my hair that day. He is very detailed and attentive and framed my haircut to my face and even managed to make my faded foilyage look good. Even gave me tips on how to take care of my hair and suggested good products that I now swear by.I booked another appointment with him a month out and he was amenable to do my hair in an hour because I had a meeting to get into at 1. Coming back to the office, people couldnt stop complimenting my cut and even asked if I got a hair color.They are on the expensive side tho but totally worth it! See Charles, he is AMAZING!!! PS My co workers all want to see him now too! :)

Not only can you get your hair done here but you can also get your nails done here as well. I mostly get a pedicure here from Swan or her niece Vivian. Ive only gotten my hair done once from here but it was when I was 10. Everything is nice, organized and everyone is friendly! The restrooms are also nice and clean. The service is above and beyond!

Love this place! They have a number of fabulous stylists. I have tried a few different stylist, just due to my unpredictable schedule and always come out very satisfied. The customer service is great and all the stylist really know hair and makes excellent recommendation on hair product. Their newly renovated salon is very slick too! Highly recommend.

Ive been going to Cinta Salon back when she first opened in the Wakefield Shopping Center. Its one of the best salons Ive been to and my all - time favorite salon All the stylists are well-trained, professional, and very pleasant. All my experiences from a hair cut to coloring has exceeded expectations. The prices are reasonable and depends on their levels but you will always get great service regardless. Im from Manhattan and have lived in London and Hong Kong but Cinta is still my favorite salon.

Im super picky because I am a stylist/salon owner who was lucky enough to be trained for years with the best, Toni &Guy. However, I wanted fresh perspective, talent and skill- I got all that with Jackie. My haircut is not only more than I expected, I feel like more me than Ive known in a long time. Jackie is not your entertainment but she sure as heck knows what shes doing. So eat her assistants lack at shampoo bowl, stylist quiet & reception severely lacking because her brilliance more than makes up for the $125 price tag. Let me repeat... I own two salons with brilliant teams but I am so thrilled with Jackies artistry I might just fly back here for my style updates. Thank you Jackie, you are brilliant. Best--

Ive been getting my hair cut by Ernesto for a few years now. Not only does he do a great cut, but his manner is always positive, friendly, and professional! Ive since moved away from the city and still travel 3 hours to get my hair cut; Ive not been able to find his match elsewhere! This is a review for Arvin: I moved from NYC and was looking for a stylist here.Initially I went to Cinta saloon and got a haircut with another stylist, which was OK, but while waiting for my appointment I was watching how Arvin was doing a cut for another client…and it impressed me how effortlessly he was working and how good it came out. Next time I asked for him as a stylist and was very happy with the outcome. I have long and thin hair and I care a lot for it. The hair cut Arvin gave me was spectacular, worth every penny! Arvind turned out to be a very humble and honest guy and truly a master. Perfecto!!! Highly recommend him😊

If This is the best San Francisco has to offer in terms of hairstyling and skills, youd be better off flying to NYC price wise. I used the lead which is the most expensive and I have been rather disappointed.They seem to cut following hype rather than focus on the individual specificities...Also they dont announce what kind of level stylist you get. The bill came to me as a surprise given the less than average result that would cost me less than 50£ or €...

Aki has been threading & waxing my eyebrows since she started working at Cinta. Cheerful, fun, sweet woman. And she has always done a professional job. But recently Aki gently suggested that she wanted to fix my asymmetrical eyebrows. One eyebrow has always been noticeably higher than the other. I actually thought it was not fixable unless I went to a plastic surgeon. But somehow she magically changed the shape and it made my eye brows match. And she reshaped both eyebrows and they look fabulous. Every time I do my make up now I am so grateful for what she did. And every time I think to myself that I need to review her on Yelp. Today is that day! It is Mothers Day 2017. Thank you Aki! Thank you! ❤️

My hair was entirely over processed and too much color was applied. Poor judgement and timing combined with failure to listen has left me with an awful fried mess of hair that has not improved even when I had inches cut off. It’s going to take years for me to recover my hair to where it was when I came in.

After getting my haircut at a few other East Village salons, Cinta Salon is the best bang for your buck. Leo cuts my hair and its been a wonderful experience. Not only does he look look like a missing member of Arashi, he totally gives a great cut! The service at the salon is also top notch green tea runneth over and theyre constantly playing an expertly curated Asian pop playlist

I had a fabulous experience here. I was lucky enough to go to a sephora event that was hosted here and they handed out $50 off coupons for appointments booked that day. I booked an appointment and came here on a Wednesday. It was really close to market, so very convenient to get to. I choose a jr. stylist and got Amelia. Amelia was great. She was attentive and listed to what i wanted out of my hair cut. To start, after our consultation about what I was looking for, they take you back to wash and condition your hair. Amelia was great at actually rubbing and massaging your head! I felt very pamper. Afterwards, she started cutting and we consulted on length and what I wanted my finished product to look like (Emma stoone short long bob look) ~ she got me tea to drink while she did my hair. It was all very professional and I felt like it was definitely worth the cost. I was lucky to get such an amazing haircut at such a steal!

MAKEUP APPLICATION is restricted to Aveda products only. Customer follow-up is terrible and so is listening to the customer. Im sure they do great hair but I wouldnt recommend for makeup.

I am giving this place 3 stars as I think for the service the price is a bit on the higher side. I am quite used to having my hair set post haircut by the stylist, but none of that is included in a150$ haircut in Cinta.
