I sent my 16 yr old daughter and her friend on a tour with them for the day (while they were visiting SF with her Grandma who had to be at an all day seminar) and they both had a terrific time! Brandon was responsive and helped coordinate pickup so I didnt have to worry about them. He was entertaining to listen to and they enjoyed seeing the many sights around the city. I wish I could have been there myself! Would highly recommend this tour! It even impressed the hard to impress teenage crowd! It was also a better value than many others in the area who charged more and did less (I looked at dozens of tour companies when I was selecting one for my daughter...being thousands of miles away, I wouldnt have sent her just anywhere). It was a fun and memorable day for them both!

Amazing Tour! Brendan was our tour guide. The groups were small which was a plus over those giant schools busses like Big Bus Tours which was canned audio tours. He had a wealth of knowledge of the history of San Francisco. We had just enough time to stop for some photos and ample time for larger stops like Muir Woods and Sausalito. I have been to SF 5 times and never once did I venture out the city and Im so glad we did. Seeing the Redwoods is a must. Plus he gave great recommendations of where to go to eat and see after the tour. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Plus I would rather support local and family run businesses.

Absolutely make this the first thing you do visiting San Francisco! Brendan was very entertaining and informative. It was a more personal tour on a small 14 seater bus. We were a group of 8 and the price was very reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The City Tour was awesome! It was part of an Alcatraz package, and turned out to be just as interesting and fun as Alcatraz itself. It was perfect for giving a broad overview of San Francisco and pointing out things to see on our own later. Weve been to SF many times before, but it was great to get the narrated insight on the history of the city and residents, and it was much more interesting than anything in guidebooks. Would definitely recommend!

Brendan was our guide on a quick 90 minute San Fansisco city tour and we had a terrific time! He had a wealth of knowledge to share and never once did the tour get boring. We couldnt believe it had been an hour and a half when we were done. He took some great photos for us and we were able to hit the major stops. He was well timed to maximize the value of the tour.

My first time visitng San Francisco didnot disappoint. Unsure of parking and fees, I opted to go with a smaller tour company and I do not regret my decision. The tour was Great. Brendan was Fabulous. Book with confidence! I had heard great things about San Francisco Excursions, so a group of friends and I decided to take a tour of San Francisco. Our tour guide, Brendan, was engaging, funny, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the rich history of the city, the architect, famous landmarks, diverse neighborhoods, and much more. It was evident that he was born and raised in San Francisco and was passionate about the city. The bus was also very spacious and clean. It was an all around fantastic experience.

By far the best tour of SF I have ever been on. I have been on a few with the big, commercial buses that you see all around town - Brendan was way better. My wife and I, only had a couple days in San Fran and decided to take the best day in SF and Muir Woods Excursion. Brendan, our tour guide, was funny, knew his history and was just all around a great tour guide. The tour felt very balance between history and getting out for photos up at places like Twin Peaks and the Golden Gate Bridge. My wife enjoyed our hour walk up in Muir Woods and our lunch in Sausalito. I would recommend this tour to anyone who only has a day or two in San Fran.

We have done two tours with SF Excursions and will certainly do it again!!! Brendan is amazing and knows so much about the city, but makes it just SO MUCH FUN!!!! We had even forgotten the name of some places that he recommended and when I emailed him he replied right away with the information. It was one the best tour I have ever been. What sold me was the small group which you will get more information and to interact and ask question with the driver and guide.Brendon was awesome, so knowledgeable and proud of the city he lives in and was very funny.He even played “I left my heart in San Francisco” as we were driving on the Golden Gate Bridge. Brendan was an amazing tour guide that kept us entertained with his witty humor and expansive knowledge of all things SF!! My husband and older son are huge history buffs and Brendan gave so much detail about every stop on the Best of SF tour! Unfortunately we were not able to visit Muir Woods due to it being closed by the National Parks Service (due to heavy rain the day before and fallen trees) but Brendan was more than accommodating, offering to take anyone who wanted to go the following week. If you’re on the fence about taking this tour, DO IT!! You will not be disappointed!

DO IT! Brendan was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been to SF many times and taken a couple (generic) tours before, I thought I knew just about everything. But it became very clear that Brendan was born and raised in SF, which I heard is super rare actually. Hit him up after the tour for recommendations on ANYTHING; restaurants, bars, clubs, museums, sights, activities, etc. Especially if you want to get away from the tourists traps.

I decided to book with SF Excursions when my family came out from the midwest for a visit. Being that I am from SF, I wanted them to go on an authentic tour that shared history of the city that your average big name tour wouldnt know or offer. Brendan was a fantastic tour guide and shared stories and history about the city that was super fascinating to our group. He is also extremely humorous which is important for a tour that covers so much ground in the city and goes all the way to Muir Woods. Visiting SF from Japan for the umpteenth time, I wanted to take my companions on a tour of SF. What can I say about sfexcursions. My family and I did the Best day in SF and Muir Woods Tour and it lived up to its name. Let me rewind my story and spearhead this. Our oldest son is in the Army and recently got married. My wife (mom) his brothers, and best friend wanted to do something special for them. So, we decided on a weekend in San Francisco as a family to celebrate. Our son and wife were only available in February.
