Everything was perfect! Our driver was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable about the area and had a crazy sense of humor. We had a great time! We were picked up in an amazing limo bus which was stocked with breakfast goodies, fruit, cheese and crackers. After picking everyone up, we headed to the Golden Gate bridge. We were able to take pictures and had mimosas. We visited 4 wineries and a shop that sold amazing fudge, cheese and gelato. Included was a wonderful feast for lunch and we ate outside at one of the wineries. The food was fresh and delicious. The dessert was a nice surprise and was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. The setting was gorgeous, and it was a wonderful way to see the wine country and do a wine tasting. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Last year I went to California for a mini vacation from Canada. I came across California Wine Adventures while I was planning outings for my stay. I booked the Redwoods and Wine Tasting package. Before I booked I contacted customer service at California Wine Adventures to ask questions regarding the tour. Their customer service was excellent! They answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. My tour of the Redwoods was definitely the highlight of my getaway!

I was on the hunt for a wine tasting tour but didn’t have a whole day to dedicate to it. I found the half day tour offered by California Wine Adventures and was so happy to have the flexibility of a five hour tour compared to a typical 8 hour tour. So much was packed into the half day without feeling rushed. It met my expectations and when I find more time I will go back for a full day tour!

My husband and I spent my birthday in San Francisco and chose this tour. We stayed at the Sheraton on Fishermans Wharf and were picked up a very short walk from the hotel. We were greeted with breakfast which consisted of fresh fruit, cheeses, and croissants. We also had ice cold bottled water throughout the day. Later in the day we were served a great lunch that was prepared under a tree at the last winery by a really funny chef. All I can say is that my husband and I had a fantastic time and created a memory for a lifetime!

Really pleasant afternoon, good value. Did a lot of research before booking this tour, and since my boyfriend and I were on a budget we paid close attention to price. This package is the best deal I could find - includes transportation to and from San Francisco, complete with a tour guide, and tastings at three vineyards. Highly recommend!

Sonoma and regional wines, but even the route taken during the tour brings you to some of the most iconic areas of San Francisco! Besides passing over the Golden Gate bridge which has the most amazing views, you travel through the Redwood Highway. Before you even get to the wineries you are given the most scenic tour of your city! Loved it!

I have been on tasting before that are crowded with tourists. Needless to say those experiences are very lackluster and feel rushed and impersonal. The half day tour to San Francisco is surprisingly intimate. With a smaller group you get to experience the tour in a peaceful and almost meditative way. I really appreciated the shorter tour time especially with such a small group. It is clear that unlike other tours who pack people in, California Wine Adventures wants to ensure the best experience for their customers!

It was the perfect day trip in Napa. It was my first time, despite being to SF many many times, so it was a great way to get a taste of what its all about. You get the perfect amount of time for each winery you never get the feeling youre obligated to buy anything more because youre lingering, each winery is unique in their own way, and I loved have the break for lunch where you go off on your own way. We went to an Italian restaurant/market called Ottimo which had some of the best pizza Ive ever had - even bought some seasonings to take home! Also helps that it was the most gorgeous day. 10/10 would recommend :

I can’t say enough about the amazing customer service I received from California Wine Adventures! I booked the Napa walking tour. After booking I realized that I didn’t specify that I am a vegetarian. Without any hesitation or headache they made sure that my diet would be accommodated during the tour. From previous experiences at other events that claim to “accommodate dietary restrictions” the value of the meal compared to the regular menu seemed to have a clear difference in value, but I can say that the food I was provided was comparable to the regular menu.

I am a long time customer of California Wine Adventures. I stumbled across them during a quick Google search of local wine tasting tours. I have been on most of their tours at this point but my go to spot is the Castellio di Amorosa tour. Sure the wine is great. The lunch is lovely. But the scenic tour brings me back. This tour has a castle. Need I say more? There is nothing more luxurious than looking out on the sprawling greenery with wine in hand.

Northern Sonoma. What can I say? Wow. Just wow. I posted a ton of pictures on my social media and people kept commenting on the landscape. A lot of people thought I was on a bougie vacation but I was only an hour from home! Besides basking in the vineyards I had a great time tasting so many boutique wines. I learned a lot and my passion for wine tasting grew after my visit. California Wine Adventures really knows how to curate the ultimate tour!

After considering many other tour companies we chose California Wine Adventures for our San Fran to Sonoma/Napa tour. We were picked up in a limo bus from Union Square and the 7 people on the bus spent the day touring 4 wineries with some olive oil and cheese tasting included and a great selection of wineries and wines.

I truly enjoyed this tour from the pickup at the hotel to the actual tour itself, the buses were very comfortable and nice, the driver for the Tour was excellent, very knowledgeable about San Francisco and surrounding areas. Loved Sonoma and Napa, visiting the Nicholson and Madonna family owned wineries was very much worth it - got the opportunity to taste and purchase wines that I would have never had the opportunity to taste. After having lunch in Yountville, a lovely city - I highly recommend visiting and while there eating at Hurleys, last stop was Sutter Home Winery, which was very nice. I highly recommend this tour - the price is right which includes hotel pickup and drop off.
