Jeffery is wonderful for proving this amazing trip! Price is affordable and taking the bus can avoid heavy traffic in San Francisco. He is both acknowledgeable and fun!! My husband enjoyed a lot of facts Jeffery provided and I can relax my feet and enjoy the heat inside the bus. Highly recommend if this is your first trip to San Francisco. Get a good deal in Groupon!

We booked through Groupon and loved this tour. We liked the ability to walk around, take pictures, and get back on moving to the next stop. We felt there was plenty of time at each stop while also not dragging along. The Muir Woods portion was our favorite part and thats really a must-do. The Groupon price was perfect and we got to go to all the places a first-time visitor would want to see (particularly Fort Point, Twin Peaks, driving over the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street and Muir Woods). The only thing holding back from a 5-Star review is our driver Steve (the owner). He was very nice, fun and knowledgeable but would often go off-topic about hippies, the 60s and his early-life experiences which were a slight distraction from San Franciscos history, details about what we were passing as we drove by, etc... Overall, an awesome tour and Im recommending it to everyone I know planning a SF trip!

Barry, Our Tour Guide was quite knowledgeable, punctual, organized, friendly, and patient. A big plus is that we weren’t crammed in like a bunch of sardines as you’ll see with all the other tour company buses. The environment was actually quite comfortable with great speaker system, lots of space and A/C. Barry was fully prepared and equipped; he showed pictures of the areas we saw from back in the 18th and 19th centuries, had music that corresponded to the areas we were in and he even took pictures of us on our adventure. He took us to the best of the best places in San Francisco, including areas the other tour buses denied us the pleasure of seeing. Barry even made recommendations on what activities we could do thereafter. The restaurant he recommends— Scomi’s ItalianRestaurant on the pier was absolutely delicious and delightful with a lovely atmosphere. It was money well spent! Barry was our tour guide and we started out with a history of San Francisco which was quite unique. He is very knowledgeable and insightful as to how San Francisco looked and he also showed us pictures of the fire and the earthquake before we even started the tour. We had a more enjoyable tour because of his informative talk. He spent time at each stop and discussed what was relevant at each stop and even took our pictures . The confirmation and the woman I spoke with told me and my party to arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts, so we did expecting someone to be there waiting for us already. Nope, no one. Called the number about it, told me that the driver will arrive at the scheduled time. Thats was the biggest problem we encountered seeing as how my party had a physically disabled members that cant stand for long and the meeting spot didnt have any seating at all.Aside from that, our driver Barry was a very good tour guide. I highly recommend him, very informative!

We came from Maryland for a 3 day visit, then 9 more days up the coast ending in Portland. Jeffrey was our guide. Of the whole 12 day trip to the West Coast our entire family says with one voice that this tour (6 hour/Muir) was hands down the highlight. His knowledge, humor, flexibility, and timing was outstanding. We saw more of a packed world class city in this short time than we ever could have by ourselves. He knows his history, and shares his wealth of trivia about points of interest along the way. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat. On behalf of the Olson family, we love Left Coast and Jeffrey has an open invitation to sit at our family holidays gatherings.

Very nice tour. Only 12 Persons per Van. Small group and you can ask some questions.Jeffrey our driver, a former cab driver, was very well informed. He was very kind and knew our names, so it was not unpersonal like all the other tours.I really enjoyed the tour, very funny with some jokes which made everything even better.Thanks for everything

My wife and I did the three hour tour. Our tour guide was very friendly and personable. He tried to make the tour as best fitting to our group as possible. The only real downfall I had with the tour was that the van was a regular van therefore you couldnt see some things because the windows were only standard size. We stopped at a few places however such as the painted ladies and the Golden Gate Bridge and we were able to get some great photos. For the price, I would recommend giving them business for a tour of the city.

It was a great tour which I took with my visiting relatives. Guide was very informative and told many interesting historic moments which I didnt know even living here and being really curious about the history and nature of the area. I would definitely recommend it

I took the City and Muir Woods tour on 6/27/17. I had Jeffery as a tour guide. Jeffery was an amazing tour guide. Ive take a few tours of cities, and he was the best guide Ive experienced. He was so knowledgeable about the city, he kept us on time so we got to see everything, he offered to take our pictures, and he had the perfect amount of humor.He also offered suggestions on where to eat and my husband swears he had the best burger of his life (along with some great happy hour drinks) at Farallon.Thank you again!

We took the tour of San Francisco and Muir Woods on 3/22/17. The van was comfortable for the group of 12. Our guide Jeffrey was personable, friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgable. Our lunch stop was excellent. Never having been to the city before, I could navigate around myself after the tour with a good sense of all the different neighborhoods. I highly recommend Left a Coast Tours to first time visitors.

OUT OF BUSINESS!!! Do not buy! A coworker highly recommended them and I saw good reviews so I booked a tour. It wasnt until after waiting 45 minutes at the pick up location and multiple phone calls that someone finally answered and told me they are out of business. Thankfully I bought it with a credit card that covers fraudulent charges. Told the person that answered that they should take down the website and stop charging people but he didnt seem to care.

Great 3-hour tour. Once its over you will feel like you know San Fran pretty well. Well worth the price and time.

This was a very thorough tour of all the different districts of San Francisco, as we learned the what each district has to offer. I grew up an hour from the city and still learned so much! Drivers were very knowledgeable and it was nice to be able to relax (and not drive!) while touring the streets of San Francisco.

It was a fun tour with loads of information about the City of San Francisco. We really enjoy it. Highly recommend.

Honestly, I managed my expectations before this tour. But after the whole thing I was pleasantly surprised. We left right around 8 from in front of the cafe. The van was ok, but good enough for our small group. We had 5 people in our group that had never been to San Fran and this tour was the best way to see what San Fran had to offer. Barry, our tour guide was awesome. Muir Woods was beautiful as always (wish we could spend more time there.) Lunch was great. Didnt have time to make it to twin peaks but it was foggy anyway so we probably didnt miss much. Barry did take us to a few other places to make up for it though. Overall for the price we paid, the trip was above expectations and would totally recommend it.

Cancelled the tour less than a week before mine and my wifes trip to San Francisco. They said that it cancelled because of equipment issues. Then my wife emailed them to see what was going on and they told her they were on vacation between November 1st-25th. Very unprofessional. Dont waste your time purchasing on Groupon or through them. 👍🏻

Customer service needs work. I bought a Groupon and called to ask questions on how to go about booking my tour. The guy on the phone was quick to cut me off as soon as I mentioned I was paying with a Groupon and said they werent doing tours and didnt know when they would start again. I found this odd since they are currently advertising their tours on Groupon and their website shows theyd be back onJanuary 2nd, 2018. He said to call Groupon to get my money back. I wonder if he would have had the same attitude if I paid full price?Dont waste your time or money.So much for wanting to help small business thrive. Ill take my business elsewhere.

We booked our tour 3 months before our San Francisco trip after buying on Groupon. We got dressed and went to the pick up location at 8am. After not seeing anyone for the tour or a van to pick us up, we called the company. We were told that they texted everyone the day before and it was cancelled due to an emergency. We understand emergencies happen, but we never received a text and we received a confirmation email the day before. All Im hoping is that I can get my money back from Groupon. After reading everyones reviews and seeing that many posted about cancelled tours, I wish I would have listened and not booked. We were really looking forward to seeing the city and Muir Woods. Extremely disappointed.

I was not on the tour but I was driving infront of them and they were very obnoxious.. they kept honking and tail gaiting when there was no need I was going at a bit faster then the speed limit...seemd very safe
