Office COVID protocol is insufficient to protect patients and charges are sky high. Makes me wonder what other safety shortcuts were taken during the 35 years I was a patient here. No more! The care hasnt been the same after an older dentist retired. During the last SF COVID surge, a hygienist tested positive for COVID and exposed patients. The office never notified folks like me who were in the office that day and live with vulnerable unvaccinated people. I happen to hear from a friend who was also there that same day. They called and notified him, but not me. Woops, big mistake! When I called Patterson about it he took days to respond and never apologized. He didnt seem to care. Hes less focused on patient safety than I thought, unfortunately. Plus they charge a premium for everything!! I suggest looking for better options.

Dr. Patterson is the best dentist I have ever had! The general vibe is just comfortable and always awesome staff that are so personable. But more importantly, Dr. Patterson isnt just a come and check the cleaning kind of dentist. Every appointment, hes much more involved throughout your visit and really taking care to tell you what you need to be aware of. Very notable, at least in my eyes. Nice office music too.

Dr. Patterson was very friendly and helpful! He was extremely knowledgeable and informative when it came to explaining the work that needed to be done. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking a great dentist!
