I wish I could give it 0 stars. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. PERIOD. It has been 45 days since my move out and I still havent received my $2500 security deposit. They are crooks. They are criminals. They dont fix things for months when they break. Its not worth it. Rent from an establishment you can trust. These guys are the WORST.
I rented from this company. Beware, they are slum lords. They litter the lease with hidden clauses that they will use to hurt you during or at the end of the lease term. Understand that using them is a huge risk. Their main goal is to get as much out of you as they can in addition to your rent while doing the least possible. Often times, the front office wont even pick up your call or respond to your email. If you can find housing somewhere else, Id advise that you do that.Dont believe me. Check the reviews on Yelp.
These are the most negligent property managers in the bay area. they lie to potential tenants and withhold existing problems. they didn’t tell us before we moved in that the pipes that run throughout our unit make a loud clanging sound throughout the night when the heat runs automatically from october to may. all night, every night. this is a legitimate health hazard, that level of sleep deprivation. when we asked them to fix it, or do anything, they didn’t. we have an email thread with them for over a year trying to get them to do anything about it.one day we noticed a leak in our bedroom ceiling. it took them days to get a technician out to investigate. they sawed a 4 foot hole in the ceiling and left it open for days, exposing us to old insulation and vermin. they patched up the ceiling. 3 weeks later the leak returned. they had to reopen the ceiling and found out the first technician “solved” the leak by wrapping insulation around the leak and securing it with zip ties. the damage had gotten so bad that they had to cut a 4x12 foot hole in the ceiling this time. guess how long it took them to patch that hole! a few weeks? a month?4 months. 4 months of a 4x12 hole in the ceiling that the taped up with a flimsy plastic tarp. One day we came home to find the garden level (that we live on) flooded. It was 5 pm and they hadn’t notified anyone.frequently the hot water goes out. they give us no notice of the issue being addressed or an estimated time of recovery. the water is out again today. it was out for 5 days just a week ago.one day, while brushing my teeth in the bathroom, i slipped and tried to catch myself on the wall. my hand went straight through it. that’s because it wasn’t a reinforced wall. there wasn’t even a frame. it was just rotted drywall. took them a week to repair.another time in the bathroom, water started to gush our of the air vent. there was a leak from the unit above ours and any time the tenants upstairs showered, our bathroom flooded with water from the vent.we have tenants on the top floor with literal holes in their ceilings.these are the pinnacle of Bay Area property owners who couldn’t care less about their tenants because they’ll gladly watch you go, jack the price $600, and rent to the next victim. do not rent from them.
