He was also just very thoughtful as we had to sort through some unique challenges and surprises along the way. Hes well-connected to other agents, and this intell was pretty darn valuable in our situation. I had worked with Amy 10 years ago, she was great back then, so I reached out to her again last year, 2020 to search for a new house. She is just plain incredible! I had worked with an agent that said to me, ...just pick a place already! No one will plan on staying at the same place for 30 years... on the 5th place that we looked at; so I switched to Amy. Gosh, shouldve done it sooner!!!Amy is very pleasant to work with and her knowledge about real estate is excellent! She gives you honest opinion and guides you every step of the way so that you can completely trust her either as a buyer or a seller. As a buyer, it is extremely competitive in Bay Area, not to mention during the pandemic lock-down period. I just cant believe that we were able to not only get one, but also a great one and closed in March 2021 without making ridiculous amount for an offer! I cant say anything but good about Alec. I was in the market to buy a place for almost six months before I met him. I tried other two agents, and the results have been mediocre. Lots of people care about just selling you a place. Alec cares about helping you finding a place you love.Hes been super responsive, before and after the sale. He guided me through several properties and helped me visiting. Hes been extremely thorough with the contract and all the details that matter. Given my requirements, he was able to find exactly what I was looking for. I recommend him to all my friends and everybody whos reading this review. You wont go wrong with him.

We worked with Alec to buy our first home!We had very specific requirements of what we wanted and location, so it took about 5 months to find and close on the right place. Alec was very patient, he learned quickly what we were looking for and even tried to talk us out of seeing place that he thought would not meet our criteria.The place we decided to buy turned out to be a tricky transaction. Not only was it a TIC, we also needed the seller to do some work as part of the closing contingencies. Alec shined in a number of ways.-- He went over the TIC agreement with us bullet by bullet and highlighted sections that we should really understand.-- He connected us to a lawyer specializing in TICs who also gave some great advice.-- He put us in touch with a draftsperson to measure the square footage.-- He helped us negotiate the price based on the above findings.-- He joined us on countless meetings with the seller to go over and review the work.The thing that struck me the most was how Alec really kept our interests at the forefront during the whole process. At one point, when we were already in contract for the home, he pulled me aside and said We dont really have to go forward with this if you dont think it would work for you. Dont feel obligated to do it just because were far along.It ultimately worked out great, and were so thankful for having Alec guide us along the way.One other thing Id add is that Alec is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate. When we were looking at a different home which would have required a decent bit of work, we got on a zoom with him and he was able to give ballpark estimates for how much various things would run. It was helpful to put all the numbers into a spreadsheet and understand how much more wed need to invest. We ultimately decided not to go forward with that place, thanks to Alecs expertise.

Amy and Alec are the best - highly professional, polished and knowledgeable from the very first meeting. From the first presentation of their proposed selling strategy to providing advice for interior updating and to the final sale, it was clear they always had our best interest in mind and always a step ahead of our questions. They managed all the interior work and landscaping with contractors and designers which was such a relief since we had moved an hour away with our 1-yr old. The updated house was gorgeous. All this while Alec had a newborn child and just as we were ready to market, a global pandemic shut everything down in mid-March. No open houses, no appointments with lockboxes, nothing. They immediately took action to purchase equipment to produce a virtual 3D and a recorded guided tour and re-worked the pricing strategy for the new market reality. They provided an online Q&A for serious buyers agents and we received multiple offers, closing in May. Did I mention this was during a global pandemic?! Buyers provided offers having NEVER SEEN the actual house. They are nimble, flexible and sharp thinkers. I honestly dont know if anyone else would have been able to get our house sold in such an environment at above list price with minimal delays. We cant recommend them enough. We never felt the need to hound them for updates or make sure our house was still top of mind for them. They guided us, never pushed one way or another. Listened to us (didnt want to delay going to market by waiting out the sheltering) and acted accordingly. You will not regret choosing Amy/Alec to buy or sell your home. Believe me when I say I dont normally have my high expectations met but this team exceeded them.

Alec and Amy were amazing from start to finish -- extremely responsive, always took initiative to get things done, and were never pushy or impatient. Their offer strategy and price estimate were spot on despite a somewhat unusual property, and we landed a dream home we never thought possible. Post-purchase, they have also been extremely responsive helping us get settled in. We just sold our 3 bed/1.5 bath condo in the Inner Sunset with Pacific Edge, and couldnt be happier with the way it worked out. Why do they only allow 5 stars? Amy deserves more....I recently worked with Amy on a new condo purchase and cant say enough great things about her. I dont think Ive met a more motivated person, and certainly not a more motivated agent. From the start, Amy was on top of everything and made the entire process seamless. It seemed like every day she was contacting me to view a new listing and discuss updates - to the point I felt bad she was spending so much time trying to help me.Once I found the place, Amy was instrumental in helping me decide the offer price (it was a multiple bid situation). She never pushed me in one direction or the other, just gave her expert opinion on low/high range. She also shared some secrets to help in this situation (youll have to work with her to find out!) that were vital in helping me win. She gave me all the tools to make the most accurate pricing decision possible.I also recall Amy going above and beyond while helping me look over the disclosures for the property. There were some question marks/missing details and Amy went out of her way to solve. Literally, I think she called Gov. Browns office in Sacramento to find the answers. Not something I ever would have expected, but its just the way she is.Im a very tough critic and hold extremely high standards (think angry Boston guy). Im also a broker (in a different industry) and know what it takes to succeed. Amy has all the qualities (and then some), and did nothing but exceed my expectations in every possible category. I hold Amy in the highest regard and would recommend her unconditionally.
