Today, Roma and Andrew helped us move from one apartment to another in Redwood City. They were fantastic. They were friendly, efficient, and fast. Nothing was damaged and they were careful to put things exactly where we asked. I believe they moved us in half the time originally quoted. We were already happy with the the price so we were doubly happy when we had to pay even less. Im not sure what more you can ask from movers. We will definitely be looking to use Romas and Andrews services again if we move again.

They were prompt, careful and did a great job. My move was to Tahoe. I am picky and they did a great job. I heartily recommend them.

These are quite professional. I was able to schedule an appointment with ease on the phone. They are very responsive and friendly. My appointment was scheduled by Frank. The movers Sergey and Sergey arrived a bit late but the moving was done perfectly. All the furniture was disassembled and assembled with care. The charges were made pretty clear from start. Small 1BR intra-SF move with packing assistance. Team of 3 guys (unfortunately did not get their names) arrived a few minutes before our morning arrival window. Packing was completed with care and attention to individually wrapping breakables. The price/hour may not seem that competitive compared to some other companies at first glance, but realizing this included ALL packing materials and there was absolutely no nickel/diming, it was actually a very good value. For example, my building requires a COI (certificate of insurance), another company I received a quote from wanted to charge a significant fee for providing this, while it was provided by Dependable free of charge. Recommended.

I was looking for a white glove service moving company to move my bosss fragile office furniture to storage as well as number of other office furniture and loose items. Like everyone else, I decided to contact them because of all the positive reviews they received. Ethan was my contact for all aspects of planning and he was awesome! I had to make so many changes on what I needed for our move and he was always responsive and accommodating so I felt at ease with such a big move.The actual movers who came to do the move were amazing. I showed them everything that needed to be packed up and moved and they went right to work, carefully packing everything to make sure all was secure and protected. They would let me know if something was already damaged just in case there were any issues which I appreciated. They rose to the occasion, taking inclement weather and narrow moving window into account. The team of three (phonetic, sorry: Roma, Andrew, and Ali) were efficient, courteous, and careful. I made a big deal out of having to move a 270 lb piano down a flight of stairs, but they made short work of it. They finished in exactly two hours (it was a short intra-Bay-Area move), clocking in well under the initial estimated duration.I am somewhat sensitive to smoke, so I did notice whenever one mover got out a cigarette during downtime; if you are extra sensitive, you may want to mention it to your booking agent.Special thanks to Ethan who helped me guide me end-to-end through the whole process. Ethan was responsive over both email and phone and gave me peace of mind that my move was well-orchestrated.

We had a very simple move down the hall of our building on a Friday. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 2pm and 4pm. I did have to call during the time window because I had not heard from them yet. After the movers arrived, everything else was smooth sailing. The guys did a fantastic job with moving our sectional couch with minimal disassembly. The most impressive part was that they were able to move the base of our bed (the kind with drawers on each side) without even taking anything apart. Each step of the way, they asked where we wanted things to be placed in the new apartment. Overall, I am very impressed with how easy this move was, granted, that it was only down the hall.

Moving is stressful but dependable movers worked to make it as easy as possible. They were on time and quick and carefully packed up all my furniture. I had two great guys, Nolan and Pasha and by the end of the move I felt like we were friends. I shopped around and their rates were the best!

This was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had with movers.Let me start off with Gulia, the manager. She was so professional and accommodating to my anxiety about moving. She made arrangements to fit me in a short notice, and calmed all my fears by thoroughly answering all my questions. She was prompt in all her email replies, and texts, was kind and very reassuring. She also sent me email updates about what to expect, tips and tricks, checklist to help me prepare for the move and always replied promptly.The gentleman that came over the house to give me a quote, his name was Baur, was very thorough, friendly and respectful as well.Gulia gave me an ETA for the crew that was supposed to arrive at my home to pack and load the truck with a 30 min window between 9 and 9:30am...just days after I booked with their company! I honestly expected them to arrive an hour or longer late (as I’ve dealt with contractors in the past and timeliness is not their strongest suit). But they arrived at my door at 9:45, which I was pleasantly surprised.The crew was amazing, 4 guys named Sergeis and one Pavel, very professional, wearing masks, clean, well mannered, and got to work right away.Those guys worked tirelessly from 10am until 9pm packing my home. They took a small lunch break, and worked non stop without distractions or needless time wasting chit chatting. Every minute I turned to look, they were just at it, wrapping, packing, loading boxes. They packed everything well, with care and professionalism. Nothing arrived broken, and everything was clearly labeled.The crew that drove the truck to Las Vegas was a different crew, and they were just as great as my stuff arrived the very next day! They gave me an approximate arrival time, but had a small issue with the truck overheating, but still arrived the same day. No nightmares scenarios with additional charges or missing items.

I was super pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail. All of my furniture was wrapped and blanketed with care, no complaints about damage from the wife. Competitive rates also. Would use again for sure.

Headline: Dependable Movers stole or lost our entire storage container, which held ALL of our belongings we moved out of our SF apartment in Jun 20. Literally everything we own except a suitcase of clothing. They are not responding to us and we plan to take legal action.We used Dependable Movers to move our things out of our SF apartment and into one of their storage units in Jun 20. We informed Gulia in Feb 21 that we wanted to come get items out of our storage unit. Once we communicated that intent, nearly all responses from the company stopped. This Sunday, Feb 14 2021, the company sent two movers to meet us at the storage address on Treasure Island, and when the unit was opened, THE CONTAINER DID NOT CONTAIN OUR ITEMS. To be clear, this was the entire contents of our apartment - all of our belongings. Its now 3 days later and we have received minimal communication with the company.The only information weve gotten is that they have no idea where our container went. They say they will make this right and said their Director of Claims would contact us yesterday, today at 10 am, etc. and we have heard nothing. This Director of Claims, Yuriy, is supposedly the highest up person at the company. Gulia and Baur allegedly dont know who they report to or who owns the company. We are needless to say extremely concerned, frustrated, and angry that we have gotten nearly no communication on where our things are. The sales team that answers the phone continually puts us on hold then says Yuriy or Gulia will call us, and we have received a call back maybe once in the last several weeks leading up to and now including this disaster.We are now engaging with an attorney and have filed a police report stating that our contents were stolen by Dependable Movers. The information we did receive from Baur was that they opened all of the containers and none of them were ours and that they are no longer looking for our items/container. Gulia just sent me an email informing me they are officially declaring our items lost and that we need to provide the WEIGHT of our items so they can file an insurance claim. The weight of our entire apartment has nothing to do with the fact that they lost or stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of belongings.I cant stress enough how horrible this situation has gotten, how untrustworthy, unprofessional, and shady this company is. I will plan to update this review as things progress.

Dependable Movers pulled off our move on short notice and made it happen smoothly! They were late to pick up our stuff because their truck was stuck somewhere over night but they made up for lost time and drove all night to get everything to our new place even earlier than expected. This is a reliable and great small business that I would use again in a heart beat.

They were very careful and wrapped/packed all the furniture very thoroughly - only complaint was that they packed our couch cushions in a way that theyre still a bit misshapen 5 days later... but in general, Id recommend them, especially for the price!

These guys made sure I had the least stressful moving experience of my life!!! I’ve ran into problems with movers from big companies before, so I decided to give this small company a chance, and man, was that a good decision! Super friendly and attentive, they arrived on time and took care of their business like real professionals. Everything was neatly wrapped and not a single broken item, not even a teacup. I have some old, heavy solid-wood furniture that’s worth a lot and they made sure nothing hit corners or got scratched during the move. When we got to the new place, they asked nicely where I would like my stuff and moved it all carefully into my desired spots around the house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We had booked a mover weeks prior to our San Francisco to Nevada move, and they ended up falling through last minute. I read some wonderful things about Dependable Movers so I reached out hoping they could help us with our last moment request. I talked with Gulia and she couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. Gulia and Bauer did a virtual walk through our place via FaceTime, so they could give us an accurate estimate. Three days later, Dependable Movers showed up and executed our move.We were lucky to have Sergey, Nic, and Adaham as our movers! It was not an easy move because we lived on the third floor of an apartment building that does not have an elevator. After five hours of packing up the apartment, they drove to Reno (hitting some traffic) and unloaded upon arrival. I think they finished the move around 10:45 pm and had to drive all the way back to the Bay Area. Through the entire move, the guys were really efficient, friendly, and professional. They couldn’t have been nicer and so easy to work with. They went above and beyond!!

This was the worst moving company i have ever dealt with. We had to change our reservation twice because the new apartment we were moving to needed more time to get our place ready. The guy was annoyed with me for having to change the reservation. Then they gave me a window of 1-3pm and i called them at 3pm because i never herd from the driver. He said his guys were running late on the job and he would call the driver and have him call me. I waited two hours and herd nothing. Called back to see where they were and the guy yelled at me and said he wasn’t moving me and hung up on me. The most rude person i have ever talked to. I would not recommend this moving company. They take a $50 deposit and then never communicate when they will be there and tell you they won’t move you anymore when you call to get an ETA. I was ok that they were late, i was not ok that no one ever called to tell me that or keep me updated on what’s going on.

Extremely terrible service. DO NOT MOVE with them or you regret.Dispatcher called everyday, telling me they ware coming next, and did not showed up, this continued till next 4 days, and later told me that it will take it take 5 more days.
