Broke my 75 inch tv, won’t file a damage claim

They did a two bedroom apartment move for me. I have my things all packed up and ready to go. They just came in on time, grabbed my things immediately, and finished the job at a very reasonable amount of time.Very satisfied with their work. They are prepared and Michael is quick to respond. Good price and very efficient with their work.. My move was done in a few hours.

I booked All Star Moving Service back at the end of January. Their price was the most reasonable and they were quick with their responses. They even let me reschedule last minute because it was pouring! We lived 10-20 minutes from the new place and it took them under 2 hours to wrap and load all our furniture to the big moving truck, unload and unwrap all of said furniture up stairs into the exact spots we requested, and disassemble/reassemble our bed. Our dresser was also a monster in it of itself (my boyfriend and I had trouble moving it to the garage alone), so I was surprised they were able to move it up stairs so easily without scratching it. It all was surprisingly quick considering how I saw some bad reviews on their time. They were sweating going up and down those stairs nonstop! The people who left negative reviews probably did no prep for the move themselves and/or had an excessive amount of stuff (friendly reminder to others that, on average 1-2 days to pack up a ONE BEDROOM! You cannot expect 2 people do it all for you within a few hours, professional or not!)All in all, I highly recommend for the price and will be calling them again!

All Star Movers were prompt to respond to my request to move 1 bedroom apt. Their price was quite reasonable and their service was professional. They were hard working, job orientated, and took extra care to wrap items. Roughly a 15 mile move that took 3 hrs as they had to move items up 1 flight of stairs. They placed items where we instructed. We had all items ready to move but if you arent packed up - it could take much longer. After mixed reviews, we were pleasantly surprised that the price and service ended up being a great value. We would like to recommend them if you are on a budget and thank them for helping make our move less stressful.

This is a low integrity service. Please stay away. They took 9 hours to move a two bedroom apartment - total bill $1300. I accidentally handed an envelope with $2000 in cash thinking it was $1000 (my wife withdrew the money). The movers started to count the cash and then afer realizing that it’s more than $1000 stopped and took the cash. After she explained that it was $2000 in the envelope I contacted the business owner - Michael who took the movers side and said that it was only $1000 in the envelope.Please stay away from this service and use a more professional and potentially more expensive service that operates with high integrity.

We decided to go with movers to help us move a handful of heavier items from our apartment. It took 4 hours to move 3 couches, a dresser and our bed. They disassembled our electronic bed and our couch to move it but then didn’t reassemble it. Worst of all the movers severely damaged our almost new couch. There are scratches in the fabric and dings in the wood frame. We asked for an invoice and receipt to show proof of payment and the movers indicated they were unable to provide us one and were very insistent on being paid in cash rather than card. Upon contacting Michael just as others noted he took the side of the movers saying how do you know that they were responsible for the damage to the couches?l and refused to pay. We asked about them having insurance and they completely ignored the question which made us believe they are operating without it and is quite unprofessional as a moving company especially. We have yet to hear back from them after several messages and call but will likely be looking to file a claim against them to cover the damages to our furniture. STAY AWAY! I would call this nothing short of a SCAM especially after now seeing some of these other reviews.

Asked for a quote and Michael emailed me back within minutes. Was available in short notice. 2 guys showed up on time in a big white moving truck. They started packing and wrapping everything up. They are moving fast so some boxes and items fell, but you get what you pay for. $99/hr plus truck rental fee of $59 to move from Fremont to Campbell. Would def use them again. Had no issues with the language barrier, they knew enough English to get the job done.

These guys are fantastic. Our family have used their services twice and have zero complaints. First time around we chose them because they had the best rates in the Bay Area. They always arrive right on time and get their job done fast. Nothing has ended up broken and we have had no communication issues. They also text right back when you have questions. Highly recommend this company.

DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!I decided to go with these people because they had the best prices, but it didnt matter because it took 4 TIMES LONGER THAN ANYONE ELSE!!!! I was told the move should take about 2 hours.... 3 at the most. The job took EIGHT HOURS...... FOR A ONE BEDROOM!!! And heres the kicker: THEY WERE TAKING SO LONG I HAD TO TELL THEM TO CUT THE JOB SHORT JUST TO STAY ON SCHEDULE AND BUDGET!This is main reason out of many other reasons why I strongly encourage anyone to go with ANY other service than these guys.

Extremely unprofessional. They completely ignored which entry to the house the landlord wanted us to use. They scratched the side of the house and would not respond when I told him he did it. They cut a hole in my brand new mattress then ignored me for days after I tried to contact them about it then said I waited too long to contact them. The two guys acted like they didn’t speak or understand English when it came time to pay and demanded a tip from me. It was the most humiliating and awful moving experience I have ever had. DO NOT RECOMMEND. highly dissatisfied. On top of everything one of the guys used BOTH the bathroom at my old house as well as the new for upwards of 20 minutes. A bathroom I had never even used myself. Then they charged me for 3 hours when it was barely 2.5.

I received a text from the manager/planning person, Michael. I had online requested a specific time. He wanted to start a different time on my move. Then keep pushing different times. He was not mean about, it seems like he was not listening or understanding what time I needed movers. I ended up repeating in the texts what exact time I could start the move three times. I was very close to ending the conversation and looking for other movers; however I appreciated his quick response.I think he was concerned about move time and coordinating his schedule, which I understand. He did agree to a time within 30 minutes of my need and I decided to go with this company. I will keep this post updated.UPDATE: They were moderately professional and worked quickly. None of the movers gave me the creepy vibes. All the movers were nice. They packed my belongings in an organized and safe fashion and nothing broke expect a piece of glass top (which I knew need more wrapping but I didnt wrap it more myself.) Their shoes did not drag in a bunch dirt. Some of the other reviewers mentioned a language barrier; it was not a big deal.This could be why the texting took a bit more time to communicate. Two out of the three spoke minimal English, and the third was English fluent. I did not hire people to help me with my move to speak great English. I hired them to be clean, safe, professional, and quick: which they were and did great. I will be using them again in the future. Thank you All Star Moving!UPDATE: I have used them TWICE. Very good company.

These guys are fantastic!!! They packed and sorted, assembled and moved everything so efficiently. And they were nice and considerate the whole time. Best prices in town.

NOT Recommended. (+) arrived on time, courteous. (-) So SLOW! Took them 3 hours to wrap/ load basic 1 bed apartment; I had to help them unload in < 1.5 hours to avoid excessive costs. Language barrier: barely understood English, ignored my request to use front entrance, fought between themselves, took breaks at the truck and several bathroom breaks. Almost comical if it wasnt me paying the bill: $109 x 4 hours + $59 truck fee to move 1 bedroom 1 mile. Owner ignored my complaints. These guys are not professionals. Cant belive others had such good experiences. Please, go with any other movers.

As mentioned by others the price was a lot cheaper than many other movers I called. The people Michael sent to move our stuff were spot on time, professional and faster than I anticipated. Icing on the cake was they charged only for the time till they unloaded our stuff and didn’t charge for the time needed to drive back (from San Francisco to Fremont only 3 hours including driving time). You definitely want to tip those guys.

Michael made sure he knew what we needed and kept us in the loop. The price was better than any of the other guys I called. The 2 guys Michael sent to do the job were right on time and did a great job! They are professional and know what theyre doing I definitely recommend them!

It is so helpful for me to call all star moving service. these guys are fast and professional. I remembered one guy named Leo, and I have to say that he is a professional mover. He knows everything about moving, and he had a lot of moving experience. So if you guys want to move your house, I would like to recommend you to call this company.

I first worked with All Star Moving Service in November and I had a great experience. I worked directly with Michael and he was able to coordinate all activities easily with me. He stays in constant contact, and communication is a big deal to me. I would recommend working with All Star Moving Service due to the personal care that they give to their clients.

I contacted All Star since they were located near me, and this was my first experience using a mover. Two men came, and they had a large enough truck so that they could move all of my stuff from my apartment in one trip. They showed up and got right to work, loading everything I own in 45 min. They even brought plastic wrap for the TV and other items, and helped me pack small things into big refrigerator boxes. All in all they finished in under 2 hours and I didnt have to lift anything. It was under $200 for all the moving, which is probably the lowest rate in the bay area.

These guys are fast, efficient and get the job done at a very fair price 👍🏽

All our moves are done with Allstar Movers. We are corporate housing company and move numerous apartments every month. The team at Allstar Movers are very friendly and hard working and dependable.Michael is always great to respond quickly.

I found out with three weeks notice that my storage unit was being razed for housing (MV/Sunnyvale line). We were very busy but I went on the first weekend and realized units were being broken into with no one on site. I contacted all star movers and they were available on the following monday and I took them. They showed up with a graffittied truck and two wirery guys with second language english.They were wonderful. I was so distracted I gave them the wrong address for the old storage then couldnt find the unit in the new storage. You might think why would I take a recommendation from someone so dumb. But the movers stayed calm and polite, carefully wrapped the things in the load not in boxes, and got me into my new unit including putting some stuff in my car so I could take it to smart station. I gave a good tip but the charges were what I expected.If you arent rich and need help from movers who care about your move, these guys are awesome.

I called to get an estimate because I had something that needed to be move within 2 hours and I explained that it was time sensitive and he blew me off and said hed call me tomorrow, I didnt have that long so I went to a differentbusiness because of the unprofessionalism.

Its my first time to use a mover. I wasnt wrong with my choice. Michael is very efficient in returning my calls and texts. The movers were very professional, they were able to fit my huge boxes and furnitures in a 10 x 10 storage. They were very careful with my things, they shrinked wrapped the furnitures, beddings and my fragile mirrors (not to trust them with antiques).I gave them four stars because they have a hard time understanding some of my instructions, as they dont understand English too well. I also think that they should at least have 3 movers instead of 2. We estimated that the move will be for 3 hours but it took us 6 hours to complete the move.

Slow job then they broke my coffee table but claims it was already broken and he told me? With the language barrier he rarely said a anything to me. His assistant was worse couldnt given understand when I said bedroom!@. Proves the old adage you get what you pay for! They also stole my Samsung Tablet less than a year old!
