I dropped by to see if they took walk-ins and I was in luck! I am obsessed with how my nails turned out!! I have had a fair share of acrylic application horror stories but this was far from one. Minh was so gentle and detail-oriented, she is obviously passionate her work, I’m glad I found this family business nail salon and definitely will be recommending it to friends!!

I liked this nail shop. They took me in right away. They let me bring my pup in with me without a problem. (Gotta love that.) They were quick and efficient. The customer service was much better than a lot of places. The only thing is they dont except tips on credit card. They prefer cash. Besides that they did a cool job.

Great service! This place is one of TWO locations on Polk street to work with acrylic. Definitely recommend KT Nails HANDS DOWN over the other that I wont bother naming. I am very particular but at KT I didn’t have to be. My acrylics were shaped to perfection and gel polish applied beautifully. They were so nice! I’ll be back!

Vanna and her staff are amazing. The work they do there is a step above anyplace else. Theyre friendly and very attentive to detail. Super clean environment, and theyre so friendly and nice. This is the best place in town.

Vanna and her team are the best - they are incredibly nice, the place is clean and well kept and they spend more time on you than any nail salon Ive been to in San Francisco. Great hand/foot massages included and the assortment of nail polishes they carry are top notch. My shellac stays on much longer than other salons Ive been to in the city. If you live in Nob Hill/Polk Gulch/Russian Hill area you definitely want to give this place a try. A++

Best bang for your buck. Ive honestly never had better quality manicures than this place. They are so meticulous and ensure everything is perfect. I am in and out in a decent amount of time, they do a great job and prices are right!

They really do a great job. I especially love the gel pedicures. There is one particular male who gives such an intense massage afterwards..its hard to get up from your chair!!

KT nails is my #1 nail spot in the city. Its in a convenient location on Polk street and they can almost always take walk ins. The ladies and gents that work there are great. They also do a much better job than most places I have tried, my nails look great and the polish lasts much longer without chipping.

I have tried most of the nail places on Polk Street and found that KT nails is the best. Friendly staff and nice massages for the pedicure and manicures. Reasonable prices, too.

I love the customer service here. The pedicure is a good really quality. There is a nice long massage. I enjoy the quiet place to relax. I would reccomend this place.

They did an ok job. Didnt like that I had to pay via Venmo. Wont be going back.

Yeah... I wont be coming back here. Ive gone to my share of nail salons, fancy ones, dingy ones, and really I care about 1 thing, you get what you pay for. I dont expect amazing service if im paying $20 for a mani pedi, but for $24 pedi, and $34 mani pedi for my friend - I expected a LOT more than I got from KT.A couple tips:Dont bother making an appointment. While I was there, 2 people walked in with appointments at 3, and both just left out of frustration since there was 1 person working and 4 people who were there at 3. I later watched them answer the phones and take down more appointments, but not write anything down... yeah... appointments arent gonna count for much here.File only! They cut your nails wayyyy too short! on one toe, she cut my nail so short, im still wincing when i walk. and when i told her it hurt, she glared and said That hurts?Always ask upfront what the cost is. They dont have their prices listed anywhere, and from the reviews im seeing, they ask you to pay what theyre feeling like that day.
