The employee who helped me today was amazing. Her name is Leah and she gets 5/5 stars. However, the building itself and the experience of being here is absolutely atrocious. It looks like a bomb went off in this building. I entered by the north entrance (where a sign hangs outside) and walked into a garishly lit empty room. WHAT? There were two doors (I think), and the more promising option was entirely covered in cardboard and plywood. HUH? I mean I wish I could say Ive been in interrogation rooms that were more welcoming but I havent been in one (yet). Amble down a few long hallways, turn left and wait in a long line (one employee working) and ponder your life choices with all the time youll have on your hands as you wait. Leah was great though.

First of all this is my post office Ive been using this place for 30 years or more but today I discovered something new this is wonderful little lady who sits in the lobby with a floating kiosk type setup who is amazing if you are confused dont fear real help is there shes like a really sweet helpful big sister who will solve all your postal problems quick and efficient oh yeah love her

A good place to send packages and buy stamps/gift cards. Staff are friendly. Self-service is also available.

Your item arrived at our USPS facility in SAN FRANCISCO CA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER on December 5, 2020 at 6:27 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination. ............10/3/21.........and on an ant if it had been faster it would have come !! (when I receive it if I am alive I will inform again)

Honestly the kindest and most hardworking USPS employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting help from. The queue gets pretty long but it’s a busy part of town. They work as fast as they can and I can see it as I wait in line.

They are very helpful and very attentif but sometimes short on staff which makes the line waiting long, but if waiting never bothers you for anything, I highly recommend this location

I gave this branch a 5 star rating not only because i am satisfied with their customer service and answer all my questions promptly, it is because of the area they work at. It is one of the roughest place here in S.F. imagine dealing with that everyday.....

I sent a letter to Canada here for a very low cost (~$1.25), service was efficient, and located right in the heart of the city.

Legit some of the most helpful and kind people Ive ever met at a post office. They get busy but they work through people pretty quick and can help confused people like me. The one Hispanic lady there in particular is super helpful!

I go there every month for a money order to pay rent. The staff seems pretty hard working and polite to me. Lines vary a lot depending on time of day from just a few people to a 20 minute wait around lunch time the busiest time. Construction on the building recent made the entrance harder to find, but its still there just without the previous obvious front entrance.

Automated system is garbage.

Nice post office in a central location with plenty of staff. Lengthy hours make it a convenient stop no matter what day of the week.

I do most of my shipping online specifically so I can avoid this miserable place. The staff are rude, incompetent and painfully sloooow. They are also always out of priority mailers. I know this because last time I went there I needed a specific size for my pre-paid and printed label. They were apparently out of stock. Whatever. I pointed to the one in the display but the guy refused to give it to me. After arguing back and forth, I conceded to just purchase another label. Only thing is by this time it was just on 5.00 oclock and instead I got hustled out and told to come back on Monday. Honestly, I dont know of another business where that kind of attitude would be tolerated.

Service was fast when I visited (early afternoon) and the staff was very friendly and helpful

Poor delivery, does not pay attention to thefts, no redelivery, go to get your package and they say it is out with carrier, only carrier doesn’t have it, my sons whole Christmas, missing,sent priority, insured, certified,nothing safer I could have done. Poor example or maybe good example of San Francisco.

The bad thing about this branch is not the staff, its the clientele. I was there for 30 minutes and witnessed 4 fights, people shouting at each other for queue jumping or not moving along fast enough, and also got nasty comments from a random mentally disturbed woman who subsequently had a meltdown at the cashier because her U card (?) didnt work. It is worth going the extra distance to the FiDi branch to avoid this place. It also gets super busy after lunch.The staff do a great job keeping the place running despite it all.

Theres an Asian man with only one eye that is a complete jerk. He wouldnt let me finish my sentences. He very rudely rushed me without anyone else in line. I will never allow him to help me again. Im going to contact the postmaster at this location and complain. This man should not be involved with customer service period. He had me beside myself with frustration.

Leah was extremely rude today. She ordered me to fill out the certified mail official use selection for my four letters myself. Pretty much telling me to do her job for her. And just in general very bossy and unfriendly.

The line was fast. And because im new in the states and I dont know how to deal woth everything here a clerk his named is Rick helped me very much :) Great service

I had a fairly confusing and complicated mail situation and the staff member who assisted me was endlessly patient and helpful. He also let me know cut the line when I had to readdress a different envelope when I chose the wrong one.

Helpful staff, despite understaffing, long lines, and holiday season. Gave me free bubble wrap to help ship a package. Wish the office were open weekends.

Horrible customer service. I scheduled redelivery, got the confirmation, but USPS never cared to come (after I stayed home all day). There is not even a number you can call. ZERO customer service.

This post office sucks !! Theyre always running around like a chicken, with their head cut off, acting like theyre busy. But there is ALWAYS a loooong line !!

Terrible customer service, I dunno how they think just schedule a 30 day mail hold every single month for the rest of the time you live here is a good solution to all of my packages getting stolen.
