I had a wonderful, albeit brief stay at Monarch on Middlefield. Under the leadership of James and Housemaster Ben, everything ran smoothly and a strong community was developed. Although theres not easy access to the city unless you keep a car, theres good places to go in the neighborhood for all of your needs. The dog park across the street is a wondrous location. The house itself is quiet and the members, cooperative. I enjoyed my roommate and we learned much from each other. If youre looking for something a step down from full rehab but a good place to get healthy again, Id consider this a valuable option.

I came in to Middlefield in bad shape month back but I had the patience and in turn, they gave me the support. I made it to Monarch based on a referral and want to share that same thing for anyone else who may be on the fence about sober living. If you havent considered it Id say call in and talk to these guys and find out more. I did and I am leaving much better than when I came in. Thank you Monarch!

I know James, (one of the owners of Monarch) on a professional level and have always been beyond impressed with the level of dedication, caring and attention to detail that Monarch brings to their homes. From the staff that they hire, to the upkeep of their homes, Monarch truly cares about the well being of their residents. Providing a family-like atmosphere and always going the extra mile to make sure that their homes are a safe and comfortable environment.Each location is like a retreat in itself. (Check out the pics...) I can honestly say that I believe Monarch is truly unlike any other facilities out there. If you, or someone you know is considering treatment, check them out. They have multiple locations in San Francisco as well as Sacramento.

I am so very grateful to Monarch Clean and Sober Living for the highest quality of service they provide their clients. Our son is truly finding his life again due to the respect, care and dignity provided by Monarch. The staff headed by James, go above and beyond even the highest standards because they are people of real integrity. . .something that is a rare commodity today. My deepest thanks to you all for supporting our son in his recovery.

Had an opportunity to tour this home and it was very welcoming and clean. Great location in Sunset district.Very responsive staff. Seem to know a lot and really care about incoming residents, despite if they go here or not. We were impressed.

I loved this house. Beautifully decorated! Well educated staff who were there for support.

There was a clear distinction for me from the start that the people who run Monarch are experienced and go the extra mile. I have lived in other sober homes in the city in my past and none of them are like Monarch Homes.

Happy to know these homes exist for people who really need true help.
