Customer service to close my account was excellent. But Drop is no longer the awesome place it once was to explore all sorts of new and exciting merchandise. We used to be able to get board games, and cooking stuff, and fabric, and camping gear, and so much more. The offerings are now limited to very narrow scopes of keyboards, headphones, and a few other peripherals. If those are your thing, great. But if not, Drop has no more use for you.
Ordered a set of headphones and got a quick shipped notice after a few days. Checked daily on the status only to see no update. Emailed after a week and a half to be asked to wait a few more days for a change in the shipment. Nothing changed so I followed up on another support ticket. Had to wait a few days for an update to be told they were lost and another shipment was going to be sent. Still waiting on headphones and been weeks.
So glad that I bought the Accidental Warranty coverage for my headset. It was worth it. My puppy ate through the cord and I was heartbroken, still love the puppy though. Utilizing my warranty coverage to get a replacement headset was so easy. The staff I worked with made it very easy and were quite personable. This is what warranty coverage is supposed to be like. Well done, Drop!
As someone who buys a lot of products from Drop (since 2018) I can say that one has to be very careful when buying from them. While they do offer some very good deals every once in a while, you have to research before pulling the trigger. Their delivery times vary wildly (from a few days for in-stock products to sometimes more than a year for group buys), their return/refund policy is unclear and will vary on a case-by-case basis (they tend to be better with their own Drop Studio products), and sometimes you can simply find the same product cheaper and delivered quicker elsewhere. So, do your homework before buying from them! This is not a store for impulse buys.
Drop is awesome! More like a community than a traditional store. They make available fantastic audio items at very reasonable prices.Support is awesome, had to replace a defective item and it was very easy. And FAST! Ive been doing many times transaction with DROP, mostly it runs well, Except 1 Order, they missed to ship 1 items. Submit ticket to the CS they quickly investigate and ship the missing items for free to my Country. Packaging are fair, i have not any issues / damage during shipment. they ship immediately after i placed my order, the shipping also took only 1-2 weeks to Indonesia. I think this is a major improvement compared to the old Massdrop. which has bad rating and customer services.
I understand that group-buys require early payment and long waits. That I am not upset about.What I am upset about is the reoccurring delays that Drop keeps dropping on us. For example, late last year, I entered the Drop 3277 MT3 group buy. About 5 months later, it was canceled due to keycap mold problems, meaning they had to drop some sets. All group-buys were canceled due to keyset changes and money refunded. A new group-buy was started, using Susuwatari keycap molds to make the new set, just in 3277 colors. Cool, thats reasonable.New group-buy is set to ship ~mid-August. Then we receive an email. Shipping pushed back late September. At the same time, we see on Drop, all of these Marvel MT3 keysets ready-to-ship. Radio silence from Drop about this. No news, even when asking help. Suspicious isnt it? Its feeling that the 3277 group-buy was conveniently pushed back to accommodate the production of the Marvel sets.

I admit that I was very positively surprised with the handling of my complaint regarding the purchased item. I was afraid of the difficulties because the complaint concerns the item delivered to Poland. However, the speed and commitment shown by the agent dealing with my report pleasantly surprised me. I am convinced that I will use drop.coms offer many times. I am very grateful for such processing of my application.
They are not responsive and try to strong arm you when you need to cancel orders. Be very sure you want what you are ordering, because they like use shady business practices to prevent you from canceling, including obfuscating your ability to contact them.As an addendum, I would not have bothered leaving a review on Google, except for the line in their automated support email that implores you to leave feedback here, ONLY if you feel satisfied with your experience.
Lengthy email correspondence resulting in me paying $24 postage to return a defective item. I was then instructed to send in the shipping confirmation before a replacement could be dispatched. (They could have emailed me a shipping lable instead of an address in TN) I did as instructed but that wasnt all. I then had to provide proof of my purchase even though they recognized my email address from Amazon and my Drop Community membership. I still had to forward my original transaction receipt and the next day send screenshots of the same receipt. Finally the request for a replacement was made and 4 days later approved and shipped. 8 days later the replacement arrived. The whole process was time consuming and frustrating. It wasnt my fault I bought a new product that malfunctioned and failed out of the box. A double disappointment. I wanted to wait until the replacement arrived before giving an honest review of my experience. Really bad service.
I purchased a backpack from Drop for my wife but, unfortunately, it was not a good fit for her. I reached out to Drop customer service to return the pack and was pleasantly surprised by the way the staff at Drop responded. They contacted me and made the entire return process a pleasant experience. They definitely exceeded my expectations. I will not hesitate to purchase from Drop again. Thank you.
Seems to me to only want to hear good news where there is none. If you were satisfied with your experience it would also be helpful if you could leave a brief review of Drop on Google. Sounds to me like this is not supposed to be an option if I was not satisfied. I would think you would rather hear that so you know where to work on improvement.
I do love their products, but be prepared to not get your items according to the schedule they provide. Customer service has been dismissive of this issue.

Crystal exceeded my expectations for customer service. I reached out because a product I had purchased went on sale a few days after I bought it, and I hoped that I would be able to get a refund for the 20% sale price. Even with Covid delays, Crystal was able to take care of my issue before my keyboard even arrived!! I would have been happy to get a credit for a future purchase from Drop but you went above and beyond to refund my bank account. Rest assured that I will be returning to Drop.com to purchase many more items in the future. Not only are the products amazing, the customer service is outstanding as well.

The product is great. the customer service is the worst. I was charged an additional 40$ for delivery (not customs, delivery) by Fedex, after already paying Drop for shipment. Drop keeps blaming Fedex, but I dont care who is to blame, Drop chose to use Fedex so Drop should be in charge of those extra 40$.Would never purchase from them again
I just want to warn people that working with this company is a horrible experience. I placed an order on Nov. 27 that was a Christmas present that the company didnt ship until Dec. 17, didnt bother to expedite, and got it on January 1. I tried contacting them, and there is NO PHONE NUMBER, no way to speak with someone. Had to rely on emails that take days to get a response. When we FINALLY received the product, the wires are defective. Now they are telling me they dont replace parts but I am welcome to send the whole thing back and start the process all over again. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!! SHOP ELSEWHERE!!!!

Its unfortunate not to get something youve paid for because of shipping problems and when this happens you need some support from those involved. In my case the biggest help came from Drop Community Support and Crystal Ashley, who quickly took care of the problem and offered to send me another item like the one I never got. I really appreciate this kind of attitude that says a lot about the quality of the company in general. I had similar issues with international orders in the past and many shops were quick to take no responsibility like they didnt really care to support and keep their customers, but this time was different.Thank you Crystal and Drop!I only hope to get my headphones this time...
Drops Customer Service was exceptional! Due to a mix up in part numbers, I received the wrong item. The customer rep asked me to email photos (fully understandable), and a replacement was sent at once. This is a level of customer care that stands out. If you want to delight your customer when they need your help, this is exactly how to do it.
I ordered a set of keycaps, which were generally high-quality but unfortunately had a nasty manufacturing defect. Customer service really saved the day here: quick, friendly, and we settled the issue very much to my agreement. Would buy again!

The product received wasnt what I expected. However Drop offered full-refund without further asking, so its professional and I have nothing to complain. I understand the hardship Drop get recently and I think there are rooms of improvement for Drop. Overall, Ill still put my faith in Drop products and customer services. Unfortunately after several purchases, I ran into a problem with Massdrop (Now called Drop) I ordered a belt. The sizing guidance on the fashion items was inaccurate. Item was shipped to my office which has been on lock down as non essential.Due to Coronavirus I could not get to the package within the required 30 days. Asked for an exchange or refund as soon as I was able to get to the office and open the package. Come on people. Help me out here. Zero consideration for the global pandemic and changes in the world.What was their reply? We apologize for any inconvenience. Not good enough.
Absolutely unhelpful customer service, who repeatedly ask me to send them the same information (that I am pulling from the DROP web site) as screen shots multiple times ... Now asked for feedback on the quality of their service and claim case was resolved and closed ..... without resolving. No one at Drop has been able to explain if my purchase price has been refunded or if there is product still in shipment that shows being shipped almost two months ago while simultaneously showing up as a canceled order. With no phone number to talk to a live person ... beware.
Drop gets a bad rap sometimes because project timelines slip and initial delivery estimates arent always correct. Look, I get it. You order (lets be honest, *preorder*) a very exciting™ mechanical keyboard kit or some audiophile level open-back headphones and the estimated delivery is in 1 month. Then you get an email from the seller that says the timeline has slipped and the delivery gets pushed back another month or so.Thats not necessarily the fault of Drop. They arent Amazon. They are a marketplace that enables individuals or small companies to make their awesome nerdy ideas a reality. In my opinion, thats definitely worth waiting a little longer for my incredibly unique items.Ive been happy with the support Ive received from Drop. I plan to use them for a long time going forward.

In the past I have always been very satisfied with my orders from Drop. While I understand that, not receiving my order was not the fault if Drop, I would like to point out that FedEx is not always as reliable a courier in rural areas. Personally I would like to have the option of USPS. Thank you for the refund. I am very disappointed that I didnt get my Nextool multi-tool. Had an issue with an item I purchased.. even during the Holiday season, Brett at Drop took care of my issue quickly and exceeded my expectations.. the way companies respond during these unexpected moments will make or break a customer.. I am a very pleased DROP customer now.. Their stuff is awesome and it’s good to know the people behind the scenes really care.
Stuck with a product that I wasnt able to cancel, despite trying to cancel the order less than 12 hours after placing it, because it was packed. And yet when I ordered it it was said to ship in three days, it has been five and still not shipped. Just got packed asap to not be able to cancel but to sit around and not be shipped. Terrible service from Drop and support agent who eventually replied when I sought help. Agent was unhelpful, reply did not explain why she could not help me, did not respond to my follow-up when I was looking for clarification and provided no further help. Now waiting for the item just to return it.

Had a question regarding a product. Theyve helped me to indicate the problem, which in turn determined that my unit was deffective.Then they provided me with all the documents, prepaid shipping label and instructions on how to proceed. I ordered a keyboard with Kaihua silver switches and received one with mainly Kaihua silvers, but many were Halo Clears. I had already modified the keyboard and simply wanted extra switches sent, but they refused and said that all I could do was get a $20 refund. That $20 can not cover a set of switches and I am simply left with a product I did not order.
Interesting Products, Slow shipping should be their slogan. If you are EU based, dont order that ships 25th of November expecting to have it before xmas.
Been a long term customer of Drop, been shopping with them when they were Massdrop. Ive bought quite a few items from them already and quite satisfied with all of them.Though to be fair if its something that also sold on Amazon, then Drop sometimes might not have the best price given the drop period and long wait/shipping time.However where Drop really shines is that they have unique items that take existing items and make them better AND cheaper. And you cant get those items anywhere else.Ive also ran into an issue with 1 item recently and Ive contacted them and the problem gets resolved in no time. Great customer service and I highly recommend Drop to anyone.

Dont order anything from here terrible company to deal with. Clothes sizing is so far off from the sizing charts and they dont send you return shipping labels so your pretty much just losing whatever money you spend here. The amount of fake reviews is rediculous too read them closely the bad ones are the more accurate reviews.

I used to recommend many headphones from the Drop Studio lineup... those days are over.Drop doesnt stand by the products they put their name on. If you dont buy the extended warranty service right out of the gate and something goes wrong due to factory defect (barely outside of the warranty period) they will tell you its not their problem.Save your money, save yourself some time.... buy something that isnt drop branded, from a mfg that will stand by their product and offers (at bare minimum) a fee repair service (which lo and behold, Drop does not.... they would much rather you put your stuff in a landfill and bought a brand new set from them at full price).
Some things are overpriced especially to Canadians ( cough cough* holy pandas) but their customer support is one of the best i have personally experienced. Overall as long as you know what youre getting yourself into, Drop will probably not disappoint.
My HD 6XX stopped working because of a loose plug. I had to reach out to Drop to report the issue. I was treated with respect and was sent shipping label to send my headphone back. I appreciate the responsiveness of the team and I am very happy with the service.
The support was very good immediate and very fair.
I liked Drop when I first used it to purchase electronics, mainly speakers and IEMs. The quality of the products surpassed my expectations. Drops sporadic service slowly killed my enthusiasm. I ordered a portable amp for my IEMs. I paid when I ordered. Drop immediately sent me a receipt and a note saying that another email would come my way when my amp was ready to ship. One week passed, then another and then another still. After more than a month I wrote to Customer Service. Drop told me to wait longer due to an unexpected delay. After another week, I wrote back asking for a refund, which I got. If you dont mind paying upfront and then waiting and waiting, Drop is for you. Otherwise, maybe Amazon is good enough.
Brett has gone beyond normal good service. He has helped me time and again to resolve the problem with my purchase. I was disappointed with the service that the vendor has provided for his product, but because of BrettI am willing to give your company another try in the future. You are lucky to have people like him working for you.

Wide variety of products that would be difficult to source otherwise. When problems have cropped up (Ive made a number of purchases over the years, defective items happen), Drop has always made sure I was left satisfied with the outcome.A great company with interesting products, excellent customer service, and employees who care.

I should start this by saying that Im very verbose, and not a bot or paid reviewer (neither would have the ability or gall to say that Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astly is a pretty good song).If your taste is for the unique and the well-designed with the end user in mind, Drop is for you.The community has a strong impact on which products are selected for development and release, and most of these products are only released in limited runs. Youll find yourself feeling a bit elite with your rare keyboard or chefs knife (and many, many things in between), and youll be satisfied with the overall of the materials and meticulous craftsmanship of whatever you get your hands on. And, your wallet wont be too upset, either. Most of Drops extremely well curated product list is very fairly priced, and youll find that even the more expensive things are just a great, long lasting investment.
Shipping from warehouse takes too long. Paid for 2 day shipping because I was excited for my headphones. Ive forgotten theyre even coming at this point.Over 1 week to ship.
Check amazon and the web. They offer the same product within a couple bucks, fast shipping....often even less than the “group buy pricing” you’d get with Drop. After joining it takes a long time for the buy window to close then the expected ship date comes and goes with no shipment. Finally an email arrives saying there is an “unexpected delay” and they will let you know if it will take more than 30 days to ship.The entire time they have everyone’s money and it’s probably sitting in an interest bearing account while they delay shipment for unexpected reasons - on products that are in stock everywhere else.It used to be “massdrop” and now it’s called “drop” but a more fitting name would be “flop”
Drop has, essentially, engaged me, without my permission and against my will, in forced fiscal intercourse.Direct contact with Kershaw has them recommending NOT to shop with Drop!!Drop informs that there will be an additional 30 days added to the ship date; amateurish and unprofessional practice; this was not volunteered by Drop, I had to chase it down via their customer service team, which was uninformed.Customer service rep, Crystal, was pleasant to deal with, tried her best, and eventually provided the 30-day hold up info but company, not so much!

There is no customer service number, everything is via email and the time-frame for them to respond is 24-48 hours. That is a negative for me. Then, I paid an extra $15 for 2 day shipping and have yet to receive my item. My account has not been updated - there is no information on my purchase. I paid extra to have my item shipped right away and it has not been received. I am not recommending this business to any of my friends in the field nor am I purchasing from them again!

Closely look at others reviews before purchasing anything from this company. Most people never receive their product, cant get their money back, and get 0 help from customer service who stop responding. My package is a month late and customer service keeps pushing the estimated delivery date back 30 days. Icing on the cake is they will not refund my money as I no longer want or need my product, they said I could return the product for a full refund. That would be great if I ever received my product but with the current timeline that will never happen. I also urge you to use extreme caution when purchasing outside of the US. Drop (Massdrop) does not pay duties and taxes on their products and leaves it up to the customer to pay these fees direct AFTER charging for shipping. The company is a scam, STAY AWAY

I have ordered plenty of things from Drop (previously massdrop) and have typically found out after that the same item can be purchased for cheaper elsewhere. I have also had many things arrive damaged or not as they were advertised, to their credit they have always tried to remedy the issue but it doesn’t make it any less of an inconvenience. The latest straw that broke the camels back was charging me 35USD ($55AUD) shipping for a bbq thermometer that only cost me 6USD ($9.40 AUD) to have shipped previously. This was also supposedly a warehouse sale where everything was in stock and ready to be shipped. I asked within a few hours of placing the order if I could cancel the order after seeing the shipping costs far exceeded the item costs, which they responded with no as the order had already been sent to the warehouse for shipping. That was two weeks ago and although I have contacted them several times between then and now I have still not received shipping confirmation nor will they refund my money. This is terrible customer service and I believe they are not trustworthy. I don’t normally write bad reviews but took exception this time. They have lost me as a customer.

The right can in my Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XXs (bought a year ago) recently stopped working and I contacted support to try and help me and figure out what my options were. I spoke with Brett R. who couldnt have been nicer and was very helpful.As soon as I had sent back my faulty headphones, they had shipped me a new pair. Received the new pair today and are working perfect and sound amazing!Customer service here is far beyond anywhere else that Ive received and they are extremely eager to help.Also package shipped from USA to Ireland very fast which is a nice bonus!
