We really enjoyed our experience with Lost campers. The team was helpful, responsive and pleasant to work with. The Sierra caravan offered all you could need for a camping trip. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable and spacious. We will be recommending the company and vans to friends, and hopefully book again in the future!

Had the best experience with Lost Campers now twice and have been recommending to all my friends. As an outdoor enthusiast but a little intimidated for full backpacking, van camping offers the perfect in between. Lost Campers employees are friendly and helpful, and both times the process has been seamless. The freedom to drive anywhere and have everything included is absolutely amazing. Will certainly continue using this service as prices are more than reasonable for the value!

We chose lost campers as they seemed to be the most affordable rental company in Cali and are so glad we did. We had our lovely van (Joyce) for 6 weeks and drove through 9 different states across the US. The van itself is perfect - lost campers provide everything you could need, the van drove well and there were no issues with its performance.We had an issue midway through with a smashed windshield which could have been quite stressful, but lost campers were easy to get a hold of and were able to quickly organise a replacement appointment at no cost to us (we had max insurance cover).The customer service team respond to emails rapidly and answer any queries or concerns, everyone we spoke to, including the owner were very personable and helpful.Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to rent a camper and we struggle to see why anyone would want/need to go with one of the bigger companies. Wow! Took an epic three week long journey around the Southwest in one of Lost Campers older vans, Jentastic and couldnt be more pleased. The trip, in the middle of this pandemic, was so healing - being able to safely explore vast expanses by having our whole home contained within the van was a lifesaver. We got the budget option, so van was older and a bit beat up, but that was totally fine with us and did the job. The folks at Lost Campers were very helpful and communicative. I have no doubt we will use them again!

Had an amazing trip in our Lost Campers van! It came with everything we needed—a stove, mattress, cookware, and even a sink in the back. It was easy to pack up and set up the bed each night, so we were able to cover a lot of miles without the hassle of setting up a tent each day. For the amount of miles on the vehicle, the van was in great shape. We will definitely rent again!

I loved my camper van from Lost Campers because it is stealthy and minimal but also has everything you need. Pickup and drop off were crazy easy. I just showed up, grabbed my key out of the lockbox, and drove off. I had a great trip to Yosemite! They also offer unlimited mileage which you won’t find anywhere else. These guys are the best van rental I’ve found so far.

We had a wonderful experience and I have suggested this already to many folks. I know this is a hard time for small business efforts and so I encourage you to sign up as soon as you can when they reopen after the shutdown for the virus. The Staff was VERY helpful and went out of their way to serve our needs. The van was ready and clean. We had one small problem with the water pump and they fixed it right away. Gas milage was great.

My six year old son and I had an amazing time in our Lost Camper van, named Andrew. This was our first camper van trip and Im so happy I decided to rent from Lost Campers. The on-line booking was easy, the contact-less pick up was a breeze and communication with staff was efficient and thorough. The vehicle itself was clean, a great size and handled the diverse landscape well. As novice campers, I really appreciated the equipment the vehicle was equipped with - we had everything we needed! We had a great time in our 16 day journey around the Southwest. Camper fit our family of 4 plus one large dog snugly but perfectly. Didn’t have any problems with the van or gear and loved the freedom it gave us. The van drives well and gets decent mileage especially compared to an RV. We definitely plan on renting again. Pandemic be damned. Adventure awaits!

We had a great 2 week road trip. Almost no issues with the van except for the annoying whistling sound from the AC, which they said theyll take a look at. I loved the DIY feeling; the vans have no ads or decals or anything to suggest the car is a rental. Its great to support a small company, you can easily talk to real people if you have any issues.The only other issue is tolls- they charge you extra if you dont pay the tolls in cash. But a lot of tolls arent accepting cash, I think that may be new given the covid situation.

Excellent company. I don’t mind minimal or rugged camping and some of the places I have gone to have no services (pig toilets only) so this is a perfect option. If I was going on an extended trip I could bring my own solar shower and be set!!!

I had a terrific time during a two-week rental of Lost Campers Moab van. Driving through Yosemite, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon and the Pacific coast, the van was rock solid and provided all of the essential amenities I needed for my trip. Whilst being the most affordable van rental option, I strongly vouch for the quality of Lost Campers vans and would recommend them as an option for anyone looking to check out the beautiful national parks of Americas Southwest.

We had a great experience with Lost Campers! We rented Scottie the van in July and drove to Sequoia National park, Lassen Volcanic National Park, Redwoods and then drove the coast of California down. The van was very clean and had everything we needed for camping in the parks. The bed was a nice size and comfortable. Lost Campers responded to our questions very quickly via text message. The van comes with a guide that has everything you need to have a safe and fun trip. We will definitely be renting from Lost Campers again!

My friend and I loved our trip in the Lost Camper! We headed from SF to the Bryce/Zion area for a week and the camper worked great the whole trip. The pick up and drop off process were both very streamlined and contactless. For a low-budget option, the car is very well-equipped and even came with a few things we didnt expect. Everything was clean on the inside, which was especially important to us in the pandemic. Definitely recommend taking a trip with Lost Campers, I hope to take another one soon!

I had a great experience with lost campers SF - I worked with Monique who was very response and easy to chat with. She helped me to choose between van styles and honored my original quote, even when I was being indecisive about the van style. Lost campers had a lot of great options to choose from! I was looking to rent a van to sleep out of and travel up the PNW - the Jenntastic was perfect for that. Basic, unpretentious, doesnt catch attention, built in bedding, literally everything you need. I had a minor scare on the road driving down from Olympic Natl Park, emailed LC about a brake light and was called/ reassured that it was okay. The whole process is really easy to manage, makes it wonderful for first time van renters/travelers! I picked up the van/dropped it off, no problem. I even forgot to leave the binder in the van, and Monique worked with me without any problem. Thank you, Lost Campers!

We rented Kelli for 11 days in November and had an unbelievable time exploring California, we were able to see Joshua Tree, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Big Sur, Morro Rock, camped along the pacific coast highway, and took a boat tour to Channel Islands. We would not have been able to visit all of these places affordably without Lost Campers. Highly recommended for your California adventures!!

What a great experience! My daughter and I were able to escape with little planning, getting to explore the great outdoors without hotels, etc. This is the BEST way to get some adventure in without worrying about COVID obstacles on flights, in hotels and restaurants. The van we rented (Dodge Caravan) was extremely clean, well-equipped and comfortable for two medium sized adults to sleep in. EXCELLENT customer service before and after the trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We had an excellent experience with our Sierra rental. We put the unlimited mileage to good use, touring through awesome national parks and wild lands in the red rocks of Zion, Bryce, and Grand Escalante; the van ran well and the sink, cooler and stove let us keep up our gourmet eating standards on the road. Monique and Chelise were great communicators throughout, and made pickup and drop off really easy. We’d recommend Lost Camper highly for secure independent cruising anywhere!

Loved our experience renting our first ever camper van.We wanted a low-key road trip with a low-key vehicle (none of the tie-dye vans that scream tourist / #vanlife). The vehicle was clean, and we were surprised by 1) the number of things you can fit into a minivan, and 2) the pleasantly comfortable mattress, and 3) how handy the trunk setup was with cooler, sink, countertop, folding table, and folding chairs.Nick was extremely helpful and gracious. A+ customer service experience. Would totally rent from here again. We were happy to be able to support a small, local business.

I cant tell you how awesome this was. Ill admit I was a bit skeptical about the whole Camping in a Mini-van thing but it was just awesome. Had it for 5 days and absolutely zero issues. 10/10 will use again. My only suggestion is some hitch mounts so I can throw a bike rack on there! Thanks again, Nick. This van rental worked perfectly for my needs! Not only were the logistics perfect for me (easy pick-up access on MUNI in San Francisco and close to LAX for drop-off), but the staffing in the offices at both ends, servicing the van, and reservations via email was great!! All ready and waiting when I arrived, communication along the way wonderful and as needed, and the van had everything for travel down the state--I stopped in a campsite only one night and parked on friends properties the other six. The Ford Transit was a dream to drive and not bad on mileage, 17-18 mpg. The bed, so comfortable and easy-to-adjust bedding. In my own little world! On this trip I did not use the items for cooking, only the cooler. Very handy! though I didnt quite get the knack for resetting the battery when I noticed it off...Ill ask more questions on that when I plan to use it fully. No doubts at all that everything functions well. I love the layout with the camp kitchen and equipment at the back, easy to access. It was a first-class company and experience!! This time I had many people to see and meetings to attend on my way. Definitely, I hope to rent again from Lost Campers--next time for camping!

Lost Campers, a great company, for an amazing adventure. We rented a Sierra Class Campervan and Drove to Wyoming and back. Amazing way to see the country. Van was clean and everything worked. Nick (one of the owners) is also a great human. If you have never Van Lifed it before, and love adventure, grab one of their Vans and drive across the country, you will have a blast. I was a bit concerned when we rented about not having a shower and toilet, but there are many many options on the road (just look at how Van Lifers do it and you will figure it out). Also, as a note, if you arent aware, you can camp for free in many many spots across the US, you just need to know where to look :). A++ rentals, dont believe me, give it a try, you will have a blast.

I loved having an unmarked vehicle. It was great to have enough space for myself and service animal.We traveled the West Coast with minimal issues and with plenty of support from the staff at Lost Campers.Rates are great and comparable to renting a vehicle from any major rental company from the airport - however, they do not provide the amenities that come with a Lost Camper Van.Thanks Lost Campers!

We went on an ambitious 9 day road trip across California that tested the van with steep hills, valleys and varying conditions and the van performed well and tackled them all! Everything we needed to survive was in the van and the employees who gave us the van even gave us extra supplies and tips to get us started on the trip. The mattress was comfortable (the pillows could use some work) and there was plenty of space for us to stay in the van. I recommend them and would use them again.

Recently used Lost Campers in San Francisco to travel to LA and Vegas. The van itself was run down inside, no privacy with badly designed curtains (might as well have not had any curtains at all). The battery needed to be changed as it was very old and went flat through no fault of our own, and the sockets one by one stopped working leaving it difficult to charge our phones and tablets. There was a rattling coming from inside the car which was quite annoying on long journeys. Positives are that the mattress and bedding was comfortable and slept well at night, as well as the fact it got us from A to B safely and had the basics to allow us to complete a road trip between the cities. Also, because of the size of the van it was easy to find car parking spaces in the cities which was very useful.

We had a great experience with Lost Campers. We took our van, Violet, to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks for a week-long vacation. We liked the discreet design of the vans, which didnt have the excessive advertisement of some other van rental companies; we saw some pretty obnoxious van designs during our trip.Other things we liked included the friendly employees, convenient kitchen set-up, fairly comfortable bed (as comfortable as you could reasonably expect for a mattress that rolls up), and a very clean van.Things we thought could be improved: adding information in the binder about nearby locations to get gas, and to clean up the van with a vacuum before drop-off. We easily got this information by calling, but having it in the binder would be convenient, especially as many Lost Campers wont have cell reception during their trips!

We visited San Francisco last October. We were given a 9 year old car not fit for the road. The car looked old but the worst was to come when in the middle of our trip, the front car axle just broke. This meant that the wheel could have come off while we where driving.We took the car to the mecanic and company fixed the issue and gave us one days discount on the final price, but it is not worth putting your life on the line. Be aware, spend a bit more money and rent a car from a decent company.Hi Nick,I am going to respond to your reply, and clarify your accusation of miss-reporting.We drove all the way up to The Redwood Forest and once we got there, the car started to make a clunking sound. We camped, and stayed for another 3 days. We were very careful not to drive unless necessary because we were worried. This affected our holidays from the third day. On our way back the mechanic in Eureka told us that the axle was loose as you say, and this could have caused internal damage. The mechanic told us that the wheel could had fall off. I did not make that part up. A loose axle can damage the wheels bearings, you can look it up. I hope that the car was inspected once we returned it, and not taken as fixed. That van should had been take out of the road.Yes, the repair did not take one day. It took 4 hours, a route detour, and a change on our holidays plans. We needed to get back to San Francisco so we drove back carefully on the motorway and not by the scenic coastal roads as we would have liked.I agree to a day refund because that was all you guys offered me.It is my choice to do a review. I dont want other people go through what happen to me. I am posting this now because has stayed in my mind since then. I dont think is fair for me or anybody else, to have your holidays spoiled this way. I hope you can understand that this is a good enough reason. I loved the landscape and people, but a service like this is unacceptable.Please guys read the all the costumer feedback in google and yelp. There is plenty of bad reviews. We have rented camper vans from Lost Campers on several occasions. What we love is that they are easy to drive mini vans that can be parked in any camping spot. They are basic, simple to use and everything you need for a camping trip for two; and the price is right 😀 Because we live close to San Francisco, we supplement with some of our own bedding and kitchen equipment, especially coffee making stuff as that isnt provided with the van. Great team at the office to deal with. We will definitely be back. Maybe next time well do a one way to LA and get the Coast Starlight train back.

Lost Campers SLC absolutely rocked! I had one of their minivans for a five day excursion during Utahs Spike 150 celebration of the 1869 completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. The Dodge Grand Caravan (named Scottie) was the perfect tool for the job! Comfortable bed, sufficient kitchen, and it drove 1000% better than any regular rental RV ever would – which was great up on the windy plateaus of Utah and Wyoming. And the staff... goodness personified. Give these people your business if you ever need a lightweight rig for an outdoor adventure!

We were looking to do a 10 day California road trip and chose Lost Campers because they had everything we needed at the lowest price I could find. They were also able to do a one way from LA to SF with a small fee. The employee who checked us in at Los Angeles was very nice and they had a whole shelf of supplies left from previous campers that we could pick from. It saved us a lot of money and we were able to get things like unopened bottles of water, propane, firewood, cooking oil, tinfoil, etc. to start our trip. While the vans aren’t the newest, they worked perfectly fine and we had no mechanical issues. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little stiff, I would recommend bringing your own pillow if possible. I think for the value, Lost Campers can’t be beat If I was going to do another road trip I will definitely look at Lost Campers again and I would recommend them to anyone!

Lost Campers was a life saver! We had been looking around for camper vans to make our cross Cali trek, but everything was out of our price range. When we stumbled across Lost Campers, we were so relieved! Our van was fairly old, but they insured us they do regular maintenance and we never felt unsafe. Bed was comfy and we stayed warm in 30 degree Yosemite weather! We would absolutely use Lost Campers again!

We had a great trip wandering around California. A few bits of equipment would have made a difference for us but overall were were very happy. Great service from the staff at both Los Angeles and San Francisco. This a great way to travel in the USA. Load the Campendium app onto your phone to find the best and cheapest ways to camp. Some parks are as expensive as staying in a motel.

My husband and I rented a Moab-Class in San Francisco and have nothing but great things to say about our experience. It was an easy pick and the van was well equipped with everything we needed for our week on the road. We had no issues along the way and at drop off the owner Nick even drove us to our downtown hotel on Friday at rush hour which is as really rad. We highly recommend Lost Campers and would do it again in a heartbeat. Cheer mate.

Our Dodge Caravan Peyton took us to AZ and NM in Feb. Had some snow along the way but we were warm and cozy at night (we had checked the weather before leaving and decided to take our warm sleeping bags). The design of the sleeping platform and kitchen area worked well. It was easy to prepare meals quickly on those chilly evenings! We are in our 60s and this was the first time we have camped without a tent. We liked it!! The van was dependable and drove well in very windy conditions. Mileage was good. Staff in SF was wonderful, helpful and friendly. Perfect low frills, very comfortable camping experience.

Had a fab week exploring Northern and Central CA in our Lost Campers van, Jules. Van was kitted out with everything we needed and no hidden fees like other hire companies. Bed was super comfy and easy to assemble. All in all, our experience was great and I couldn’t recommend them more!!

Awesome time! Van was super cool. We had the roof tent which was awesome for the hot nights and when we stayed in campsites. And you could sleep in the back when you wanted to be discreet. Got about 22mpg and down didnt have any trouble. Car was super clean and valeted when we picked up. The staff were super friendly and professional. Would recommend!

Best decision we made on our last CA trip. The company and the campers are every bit as good as youd hope theyd be. The platform tents set up super fast, and the vehicles are really well maintained... which is reassuring when youre on those narrow windy stretches of CA-1. Convenient drop off and return .

We did three weeks in the van - it was comfy, felt safe and had plenty of room for our masses of stuff. We loved how easy it was to get hold of the Lost Campers team if we needed them. Even for tiny things (warning light on dashboard, for example) they were happy to talk it through, reassure us, let us know that they had people close by (they have an agreement with a garage chain) who could help if anything did go wrong. No issues with the van, despite enormous distances and very hot weather, and it was a great alternative to tent camping. Would definitely recommend as a super-fun, low-budget way to explore the West.

Loved our Moab van. We had no issues whatsoever. Friendly staff. The bed was comfy and cozy, but the curtains had a funky smell, we bought air freshener but other than that, we take with us wonderful memories in this van and from San Francisco. Most definitely recommend to anyone who’s down to explore!

I had a fantastic experience. I spent a month in one of their converted camper minivans. Great price and excellent customer service over the phone whenever I needed any help. Also I liked how there werent any logos or advertisement on the minivan as its nice to be a bit more stealth and not advertise the fact that youre a traveller.

We did a really nice trip from LA to SF in one of their vans. They were really well equipped, super comfy and honestly the best kind of trip weve had. Had a wonderful 10 days in our van! Bed was super comfortable and the set up was simple but effective. Our battery died (was a bad battery) and the support line staff were amazing. Stacia organised for a new battery for us nearby, and reimbursed us without a hitch.

Spent nine days traveling around California in one of Lost Campers vans. To say that we loved it would be an understatement! The van added ease and comfort to camping and traveling around all different parts of the state. The fact that the van is a standard size vehicle makes so many parts of the trip easier. No worry about the power, or age of the van. Everything about this trip was fantastic.

We camped from Seattle WA to San Fransisco CA driving down hwy 101 and hwy 1 along the cost. Stopped in Olympic National Park, had an Oceanside campground in Oregon. Slept among the redwoods in California. The van was perfect for this trip. We slept fantastic. The van was easy to maneuver around all the bends and turns this trip offered. I highly recommend Lost Campers!!

Our Lost Campers van was the best for our 4 week trip from California across to Utah. The can is super comfy to drive and sleep in (even at 6.5mo pregnant). Communication was easy and efficient if we had any questions and pick up and drop off was completely hassle free. Great people at Lost Campers, easy to work with. Loved our van, Lilly. Drove it over 2000 miles and had no problems. The van came with all camping necessities, cooler, stove, chairs, table and plates, cups, pot, pan, silverware, knives, can opener, and even a corkscrew. Best Place to Rent a Vacation Vehicle!I researched a lot and was so lucky to find this place. They are a small enough organization that there is a real person that answers the phone or emails. They greet you when you arrive. They have your vehicle ready. They took awesome care of us, were so friendly, super-attentive, and really just made our day to deal with them. We loved it! The van (Hotel Sierra) was fantastic, so much fun. It drove great, was clean and so useful for our trip. I cannot speak highly enough of this place!

Estefan II performed perfectly! The freedom that the converted camper setup brings is extremely convenient and allowed us to choose where to have meals and camp along the way. Yosemite is a do-able long weekend from San Fran and a highly recommended place to go, it will blow your mind! Also be sure to check out the Marin Headlands at sunrise if you get the chance for an epic view over the Golden Gate and city skyline behind. Will definitely be traveling with Lost Campers again when next in California!

Enjoyed a 1400 mile road trip around the eastern Sierra mountains out of San Francisco. “Andrew” the Transport XLT drove great. Loved having the back up camera, inverter and Sirius radio as well as the electric cooler. Figured out cooler with trial and error, but nice to not have to buy ice daily. Bed was comfy and blankets were warm on the cool nights. Great experience and would definitely use Lost Campervans again.

Rented one of the dodge vans for a week and had a great time. The van is well put together and has everything you could need inside for cooking and sleeping. The curtains don’t block everything but they get the job done for sleeping! The bed is actually super comfy with nice pillows and a warm comforter provided. The van is in generally good condition with no issues and the customer service at the SF location is really great. No complaints. Great value and much cheaper and more discreet than other camper van companies. Thanks lost campers!

We had a great experience with Lost Campers San Francisco. Vans come ready to go with solid kitchen sets and everything (minus some groceries) you need to get on the road.Vehicle was well-cared for and was comfortable for a week-long trip through the national parks.We also liked that the van is not painted or covered in ads that would make it obviously a campervan to passersby.

We rented our Lost Camper Van for five days in September and could not have been happier. We traveled to Yosemite, King Canyon/Sequoia and Sunset State Beach in Santa Cruz. The van we were issued was named Oliver and I believe it was a 2014 model. The van and all of the amenities that came with it were clean and in excellent to good condition. The van drove wonderfully and perfectly fit our needs, it was also easy on gas and could be parked anywhere. The bed while not a five star hotel bed slept well, much better than being in a tent on any day. There were enough cooking/eating utensils to make simple meals and hot water for coffee. We opted to get an extra blanket and it came in handing when the night time temps dipped into the 30’s. To sum it up we loved using the camper van. Rod and Kim from central Indiana

Lost Campers was an amazing company to hire a camper from. From picking it up, on the road and dropping it off, everything was super smooth. All the staff we met and communicated with were proffesional and really friendly. All their campers have names. Ours was called Steffi. She was all clean inside and out and came with an awesome fold up bed that was super comfy. If youre ever planning a camping trip or even a road trip some place, you need to definitely check these guys out for your vehicle. Next time we are hitting the road we will be hiring another camper from Lost Campers!

This was the best decision we made for a vacation getaway! It is such an awesome idea. It is real easy to set up, we had it up in under 5 minutes. The stove and sink were great to have. We went up the California coast and went to many of the state parks. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Upon our return, we got to meet the owner, he was great to talk with! If you are on the fence about this, DO IT! You will not regret it! We will definately use this company again!

We rent a van here and went to Yosemite! we slept in the car was nice! its close from city so easy to access by Uber!

I used lost campers to go from SF To Lake Tahoe and had the most incredible time ever! Great van and unbelievable set up inside. I even stayed warm in 20 degree snowy weather. I highly recommend renting a van from this company! Incredible service and great people.

Me and my partner went on a 10 day road trip across California and it was all made possible through lostcampers. A perfect dodge caravan that had been converted with a bed / table / sink in back and all the amenities youd want for a little trip. All very affordable. Also very easy check in and check out. All round a wonderful business to help make your road trips possible!

My experience with Lost Campers was absolutely amazing! The Van was great and came with absolutely everything we needed for our 5 day adventure. We ran into some unexpected travel delays and were super rushed to return the van, and they were completely understanding and didnt charge us extra since it was out of our control. I met two of the staff members and they both were super friendly. I would definitely recommend renting from these guys anytime!

Great friendly service, from the moment we made the booking to the minute we returned the van. I agree with the post below, the lady on the front desk was awesome and really helpful. The van was just what we expected and hoped for - well kitted out for a comfortable adventure. Made for a fantastic family holiday with young kids. Would highly recommend.

Second time using lost campers. Both trips were great. Love the price, love the low-key non-painted van, and love the freedom of van-camping.Great company that filled all the tick-boxes for us!Will use them next time :)

Great people and vehicle, but be aware that they dont include a few key things that you might expect to get:- No towel or scrubbing brush for drying dishes (even though you get soap etc).- No matches for the included stove.- No snow chains available for rental.- No fresh water (the sink water is for washing only, which we didnt realise initially).

We (two people) rented the minivan for our camping trip up the north coast and the redwood forest . Our van was clean, easy to handle, was comfy and got great gas mileage! We slept in it a few nights, but were able to use the tent for the rest of our trip.. we rented camping gear we needed and we were extremely satisfied..I would totally recommend Lost Campers. I also appreciate the lack of advertising on the vans, as we saw many loud and obnoxious painted and printed rental vans on our trip and we were nice and incognito ;)

We rented a campervan for a month and it was very convenient, well equipped, allowing us to be completely free. The propane stove and the sink in the trunk was perfect to cook meals anywhere at anytime. The bed system was easy to set up. The car was easy to drive in the city, on steep roads. I recommend Lost Campers to whomever wish to discover the US.

Our van handled our 1800 mile trip with grace. Tent up top and mattress in the car were both very comfortable. A minor hassle sometimes to have to pack up every morning, but great for when we were on the move! I would consider renting again from Lost Campers.

Service good. (mini)Van and equipment generally newish and clean, etc. Comfortable and economical for driving (4 adults). Fold out roof top tent handy -- but a bit of pain to pack up (minor issue). Inside bed very comfortable, but takes a lot of room, and (minor) hassle to set up/take down, or to access stuff stored in the box. Barely enough room for our gear (four adults).The Mattress takes up a lot of room. I wonder if the the larger sized van might be a better choice - but no longer offer roof top tent for larger van.

Perfect van for cruising down highway 1 and all around California. Rented the wanderer dodge caravan, it had everything we needed. The team at lost campers are awesome. Look forward to renting here again soon.

Great trip with lost campers. Went all around California with their van, very comfortable sleeping and even brought it to a festival to sleep.Definitely a cheaper option than rivals - and theyre a nice family owned company. You cant go wrong with them.

We had a great experience with Lost Campers! The booking procedure was very easy and they answered all my questions. The van (Dodge Caravan) was in perfect conditions, and we drove over 1000 miles without any problem! The van is very confortable for two people, we slept better than in our hotel. I will totally recommend Lost Campers to travel around USA!

Great experience, no hassles at all. Encountered a couple of self-inflicted hitches but Lost were friendly and helpful at all times! Highly recommended. The van itself was perfect and gave no trouble even in snowy conditions.

You get solid value for your money. We are glad a service like this exists. The car we had showed quiet a bit of wear but worked totally fine. We had the one with a little sink in the back which turned out to be very useful. Bring a tea towel and a scouring pad in addition to the camping equipment that is provided and you are ready to go.

Rude and unprofessional. Camp stove regulator was stripped and broken, but we didnt notice until after we left. I called twice about how to fix it / compensation for the 2 days without a stove and was told we could buy a new one and theyll reimburse us up to a certain amount but said they did not have the authority to make a decision on reimbursement. Brought the issue up again when dropping the van off, and the lady working cut me off while I was talking and told me I wouldnt be given back anything and that I could just leave because they didnt even have my paper work ready. So for the FOURTH time, I emailed them after my trip explaining the situation, hoping a manager would have the decency to at least have a conversation with me. But I was wrong, no answer yet again.Its not like I asked full refund, but do you understand that the whole purpose of renting this van was so that I didnt have to fly my camping equipment across the U.S.? And also that purchasing meals for 2 days for 2 people along highway 1 can be expensive, hence the reason we wanted to cook our own food. Lets not forget the extra mileage (30 miles of it) we were CHARGED FOR to go out of our way on highway 1 to a store inland to purchase the stove that they gave to us broken in the first place.However, I would like to say thank you to Lost Campers, for making the decision easy for me to never use your company again. This all wouldve been fine had you been mature enough to have a conversation with a paying customer.
